Love this place! One of the best museums you can go to! They have an impressive displays and the staff is very knowledgeable. They can accommodate any needs from genealogy to just showing history. They have had weddings and funerals here. The admission is free, and they are able to have meetings with food served. The food is wonderful as well as the gift shop. Parking is street parking. This is a must see!

On a recent review trip of NE, we were honored to visit this gem of the Sandhills. The displays are very expertly and tidily engineered, with a thought to showing off the most items in the smallest space, yet giving every item ample opportunity to pop out to the visitor. We loved the personalized intro video with Margaret (?). Hope I got the name right, I can't find it in my notes! Her own items on display are a delight to find.

Found this hidden gem through the Nebraska Passport Program. What a wonderful tourism idea - I never would have found this fascinating place otherwise. Gorgeous displays, tons of information, and a nice gift shop, too. Do stop by if you get the chance, you won't regret any time spent here.

This is such a hidden gem. So beautifully laid out. I like how they've displayed Nebraska's sandhills history. They also have events in occasion. The timeline you walk as you start out through the museum is really cool. Nice gift store too. Beautiful museum.

We were following the Nebraska Passport program. We saw this on the map close to us so we decided to stop by. I was not expecting much. My family and I had a great time. lots of great antiques, history, fossils and stories. It was a great time, glad we went.

This museum was very nicely laid out. Not too cluttered but no vast open barren places. Plenty of local historical items as well as related displays from far away. Very clean and well kept. Must be a dedicated staff there! Great gift shop. We kept a steady pace and were able to spend almost two hours here. Well worth going out out your way!
