We were a bit late for the last tour of the day but they still accommodated us. Alex our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the house, the people and the way of living. Could not have asked for a better experience. Enjoyed the tour immensely!

Megen Lamb

Beautiful. Came here and took pictures after my husband and I were married. I was super appreciative that they allow random people on the premises to take pictures. Its hard to come by these days.

Beautiful place for an afternoon visit. The garden is lovely and the mansion has that je ne sais quoi that brings you nostalgia and wonderment.

Visiting the area from Ohio and saw this place as a local historical place. If you are interested in the history of Kalispell, please visit. Learn the interesting story behind one of the founding members of the area, complete with authentic furnishings just as it was when the home was built. The tour guide was wonderful, had not only lots of information but anecdotes of the family and a genuine interest in the family and museum.

kathy bevan

Loved the story and that the great grand daughter was a hoarder. Which is the reason there is so much history in the house.

Jack Chellew

We stopped by for a visit, walked around in the newly refurbished gardens, which looked beautiful. Unfortunately, it was 1:15 pm and the tours of the mansion started on the hour, every hour. Seniors were charged $15.00 per person which seems a bit expensive. Anyway, we left to have lunch rather than waiting for 45 minutes.

Teresa Hartford

This home of Charlles Conrad is beautiful and full of history. The tour will provide you with a fair amount of local history and a view of how the wealthy lived when the Kalispell area arrived was developed initially.

little birb

Have been there twice. Would love to go Christmas time and Halloween. Just love this place

Mary Allen

Really are passionate about local history and glad to share with you and answer all your questions!!!

Team Stilus

Wow!! Amazing place to visit, gem from the history..

Austin Decker

This place was really cool. Wish we could have taken a couple of pictures.

Sandi DuPuy

You will remember a guided tour through the Conrad Mansion for the rest of your life. Being born here, I revisit every couple of years and always learn more of our history as a town, the promise of success, the pain of loss, and the redemption of a dynasty.

John Wisher

Very cool place, Christmas decorations we're great, and the music choir was wonderful

Eric Hutchings

Really enjoyable, interesting guide, could have done with a more detailed visit, lots of original artifacts.

Steve Heinze

Beautiful place. Great informational tour.

DM 45

Great tour learned a lot.

Jane Smith

Not wheelchair or disabled friendly at all. Lots of stairs - incl to get in the mansion. If u have a disability this is not ur place. Looks nice but staff didn't tell me when I paid entry that I couldn't take photos. Seems very money hungry. I went to the castello di miramare in Trieste, Italy which is a lot nicer then this and they let u take photos. Also saw people using their phones taking pics. I guess bc I had a camera they noticed me, but if they don't notice you it's ok?

M Byrd

Went when I was a kid a lot. The candy store is amazing.

Ben S

Very interesting, but be warned with kids. They may not find it interesting

Brian Lind

Best place in kalispell for a history tour

Karen Hoth

I expected to enjoy my visit as I love museums. What you were allowed to look at was appropriate to the period and well displayed. The docent however was quite rude, and actually put hands on me twice. I would hesitate to recommend this museum and would instead recommend the drive to Bozeman and the Tinsley House at the Museum of the Rockies. It is a living history farm and an absolute delight. The is also the bonus of the Natural History Museum with the dinosaur bones and wonderful exhibits.

Mike G

Very nice tour of a restored mansion

Joseph Hart

Nice look into the past.

Becki Child

Wonderful, historic, excellent story telling guides. Great events happen there.

John Sheets

15 per adult and 8 per kid. Forget about it.

Diane Schmutzler

Great tour, fun place to visit.

Jesse Lampkin

We went to the mansion for the "Haunted ghost tour" all it was was a run of the mill Halloween fun house. I've noticed that most of the excellent reviews are coming from the people who went during their normal operational hours. I will say that when I was a kid we had a field trip to the Conrad mansion and it was exciting to see the house in the light of day. I think the next time they put on a farce such as this they should call it. The Conrad mansion haunted fun house.

Nathan Breuer

Excellent tour guide and tour! Definitely worth a stop.

nls wood

I found the tour very informative and very interesting. Great job!!

Jordan Rendoni

The tour is amazing I recommend it to everyone.

Sonja Merrill

Haunted tour very rushed and disappointing. An hour tour was only 30 min

chuck mccoy

Great presentation, lots of history, a must go special place!

Brian Phillips-Braunberger

Each time, I learn more about the home of one of the most prominent families that ever lived in the Flathead Valley. Found out that my grandparents lived in a home only 1 block south from the Conrad Mansion. Also, listed in the historic directory of Kalispell. However, did not learn this bit of information until I was an adult. Plus, saw "Lucky" the cat each time. Followed us all the way around the grounds.

Judene Ness

Visited on the 4th of July. Wonderful community event. Music, icecream and self guided tour of the beautiful home. I loved learning about Mr. Conrad and his family. If you come to Kalispell it is a must see.

Conrad Mansion is,beautiful! The antiques alone are something to make you stop & think about how easy we have it today. Chamber pots, wood heated system to dry clothing, a food processor you had to spin yourself. Amazing. The 3rd floor is my favorite. Although it is said to have some spirit activity inside, I have never experienced it. A member within my party as well as another guest though were fortunate enough to catch a glimpse. The tour guide Sharon, confirmed the experience for my party and said many people see it as well as all of the staff members running the home. A very interesting piece of Montana history to go and learn about.

Pat Sylvia

Great historical tour, worth the money.

Mark Rami

Beautiful place to visit and learn the history of the mansion. Tour guides were very knowledgable and friendly. Not sure why the website hasn't been updated since 1996 though. Hard to look at and navigate.

Jacob Brown

This is an excellent tour. Things we really enjoyed: 1) The staff was amazing. Our guide was very personal, full of knowledge, related information well and made you feel like you were getting an “inside” tour. She was wonderful with our kids (8 and 10), and even let them into some of the rooms the adults were kept out of (so thankful they didn’t break anything). It was mainly enjoyable because our guide was so good. She was on her last week giving tours, and we felt very lucky to have been with her as she closes out this chapter of her life. 2) The rooms are decorated with the original decor. The family managed to keep nearly all the original furnishings and decor, and so walking through the house really does feel like stepping into a different era. I’ve been on other tours where many furnishings are staged, but this is all real and very authentic. 3) The amenities in the house are fascinating. Many things were way ahead of their time. Without spoiling all that the house contains, I think you will be impressed with how “modern” many of the gadgets are. 4) The story of the Conrad family is very interesting. The story progresses as you go from room to room, and it keeps you engaged the whole time. 5) The house is beautiful. This probably goes without saying, but it’s a wonderful house to view. Highly recommend this tour. For the price, it is well worth it.

Liane Steely

Our tout guide was very interesting and knowledgeable

Lisa Huffman

Pamela Flynn

It was closed (Monday) when I went so I just walked around the garden.

Justin Mauzey

With tours on the hour. Explaining the history of Robert Conrad. One of founding fathers of the Flathead valley. Interesting, informative, and presented in a way that piques interest. (Far less dry than I thought it would be)

Barbara Huber Pearson

What a treasure! Kalispell is so blessed to have the Mansion. We had a wonderful tour by the best tour guide, Sharon!

Shawna Lampkin

Very disappointed with the ghost tour...paid $40 to walk through a completely dark house, not able to see any of the items in the rooms or ability to appreciate the history of the home. It was only 30 mins and you're forced through each dark room quickly while being forced to hear scripted ghost stories that come across as cheesy as the costumes. Wouldn't recommend it..and honestly I want a refund.

Ethan Wright

Don't let the outside fool you, beautiful interior.

Henry m

Always a great place to go and see, inside and out. Oh and they say it is haunted also.

Joe Robinson

Don't leave town without seeing

hitman6446

Cool little place for a history lesson! Would recommend to a group of people!

Sylvie Wood

If you want to find out the history of Kalispell, one should go on a tour of this home. This home features about 90% of it original furniture. It's a great walk into the past.

Bobbie Anderson

A beautiful piece of history...and the stained glass ❤️❤️❤️

Gary Lowrance

The Mansion has an ice cream social each 4th of July. The children have great to play on and a band plays John Phillips Souza-type Patriot music. Very family friendly, a good time for young and old. Who doesn't love free ice cream after the parade on main Street in Kalispell?

Crystal Barlow

I wish I would of left the kids at home. It is beautiful but pretty pricey.

Brian Friess

The Conrad mansion and its Museum are a historic site in the Kalispell area that should be visited if you're from out of the area and certainly can be enjoyed by locals to the host several events throughout the year especially around Christmas and holidays it's fun to see an older part of the town that once housed one of the wealthier founders of the city it has a nice garden and flower area outside where couples sometimes like to take photos and has a nice gazebo and seating area as well

Lana Golinsky

Beautiful history

tina schenk

Really interesting and well done your. Beautiful house and grounds.

Tom Langston

Fascinating place to visit. Beautiful in the summer.

Clark Jones

Very interesting and great tour guide!

Rodney Ketelhut

Today we had the pleasure of having our tour of the mansion guided by Cindy. Over the years my family has attended many guided tours across the country and Cindy is by far the best tour guide my family has ever had. She had emense knowledge of the house and prior owners. My daughter Lacie especially enjoyed her time there!! Thank you Cindy for the awesome experience. Your the best!!!

Casey Young

This is a really great tour! The 1895 home is beautifully restored and contains a lot of innovative features for that time period. House tours are generally not my favorite type of tour, but the guide tells a compelling story while showing the features of this grand home.

Christopher Luedke

Great time. Informative and unique view of the history and life of the times.

Hank Futch

Pretty on the outside, didn't get to take the tour

astkhine aryants

Just unbelievable! Surreal...to step into the very house that still has working original thomas edison light bulbs (123yrs) and original 1895 toilet paper with the other antique home furnishings and things. Words cannot describe the experience. You stand in the rooms and imagine how the family lived. DEFINITE Must see!

bambi rhodes

Beautiful place

Tosha K

Our visit was wonderful! The docent (Genny) was pleasant and informative. I would highly recommend anyone going to visit.

Nida tracy

My grandmother new the last surviving, who gave me a doll from her collection. Children from the Neiborhood had to play in the basement not attic. Attic was for the owners only. Fact, I tried to share this information & they dismissed me

Gay Ann

Well done, historic, a real part of the West's story.

Paul Parker

Awesome place. Our 14 year old was so smart and sweet

Norm M

Fantastic house tour! You've done a great job at preserving such a beautiful home and it's history! Enjoyed the tour and all the secret backrooms, basement and attic. Great job, we will be back.

Art Harrison

The house was 95 percent original furnishings and our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the family and the time the house was built

Mike Holien

As a history buff I LOVE the Mansion. It’s unreal to think that Teddy Roosevelt himself stayed in the Conrad Mansion all those years ago. The tour is incredible and the staff is friendly. I’ve been many times and it never gets boring. When the tour is over go enjoy the grounds which are kept beautiful.

Quinton Breitmeier

Very interesting. House well preserved

Cindy Heigl

Interesting tour of a 120 year old home. Highlights include Thomas Edison bulbs that still work, a huge custom stove from France, first generation laundry and dish washing machines, ect. My favorite was the three season growing room with a little stream and plants. The house was restored with nearly everything original from the home. I have toured several historical homes and this tour was the most informative at almost 2 hours long. It was $15 a person. No photography allowed, which seemed ironic since there was a cat living in the house.

Megan Hoskin

My baby started crying so I took him outside while the rest of the family finished the tour.... They let me go on the next tour while my husband watched the baby....

scott marino

This is a great tour with interesting facts given by a very informative guide.

Samantha Platkowski

Very nice tour. Our guide was knowledgable and very friendly. Gardens are beautiful. This was a nice way to take a break from hiking the mountains and have a low key day in Kalispell.

Lindsey McGinnis

Outstanding visit. Housemaster was so informative, friendly, helpful. She was such a delight and made my day! Excited for the death by chocolate evening!! Conrad Mansion should be proud to have such an asset working in the home.

Amy Nelson
