Anyone who thinks there’s nothing new to see at the DeSoto County Museum is sadly mistaken. New exhibits and a new way to present are either there now or on the way.

It's so neat that everything in the museum is connected to something from DeSoto County.

Highly recommend! Extremely interesting exhibits showcasing the progressive history of Mississippi. They also have a complete authentic log cabin on site! Many of the exhibits are interactive and there is something for everyone. Unknown Child Exhibit is awesome!

There web site said they were open but when I got there they were closed. Very dissapointed. The old building next to 2as being use as storage. Somebody needs to care for that place.
