REVIEWS OF Biedenharn Coca-Cola Museum IN Mississippi

Nida Khawaja

First time coming to the Biedenharn Coca-Cola museum. It's a small location. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The museum is small and does not take a long time to walk through. Informative with regards to the history of bottling coke in Mississippi. Great history lesson for adults and children. The museum serves candy and coke floats. First time having a coke float and really liked it. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Ticket prices are pretty cheap and affordable.

Sabrynna Gibson

This place was really interesting! It doesn't matter if you are more into the items or the history or just looking for a cool place to go.

Kelly Gonzalez

I thought this place was great!!!. Lots of coke memorabilia. Some things I never even seen before. So happy I came to their town. I was also happy they were Open on a Sunday. Only $3.50 to enter the museum. It is on the smaller side, will probably take 30 minutes to look at everything.

René Schwietzke

Nicely done. Information about the first bottleing of Coca-Cola in Vicksburg and about Coca Cola as beverage. This museum is way better than the Coca-Cola marketing show in Atlanta. More facts, more time to read. Strongly recommend it because I was to both. Sure you cannot taste coke but you also do not fight was selfie takers and rude people pushing you around. For the museum owner: Kick it up a notch especially your fountain and bottle display.

H-Sama Zuchelli

Try the praline ice cream it's the best!! We had ALL flavors. Lol. Had the sugar coke too.

Lia Mast

Great place! Nice people and interesting coca cola collection. Feels really one of a kind and special.

Christian Delafield

Great little place to pop in and learn about the origins of coke and it's production. Odd that it doesn't recycle the bottles that you can buy to drink from there.

Wanda Finch

About $3.50 per person with a lot of old Coke memorabilia to see. It feel like you went back in time.

kyle hall

Not what it should be.

Duane Vince

A little Coke history.

Rainer Jilke

Coca-Cola wurde in Vicksburg von einem Deutschen erfunden!

Greg Bowler

Worth a visit. Quaint insight into the town's history.

Hugo Hackenbush

$3.50 admission. Plan on 1 hour. One of those "If I didn't go I'd regret it" situations: below optimistic expectations, but not really disappointing.

Bram Lugh

Not worth the time. It took longer to pay then walk through the one room museum. The "old soda fountain" reeked of cat feces.

John Davila

Home of the first place Coca Cola was bottled. Museum is self guided and has soda fountains from the olden days very interesting especially if you like Coca Cola, M's favorite.

Bonnie Johnson

Suzanne Glenn

Did not pay to go in museum but the front part interesting and take you back in time.

Kane Roper

Odd assortment of Coca-Cola memorabilia and a nifty recreation of an old-timey sofa fountain.

tim riemann

This was one of the needle things that we saw when we visited Vicksburg Mississippi... I was surprised how many neat artifacts and Coca-Cola memorabilia they had on display in the people that work there were very... If you're in Vicksburg it's definitely worth a stop

Wanda Callender

Interesting. Not a lot to see.

Johnnie Fridell

Great coke float. Didn't do the tour.

Some One

They charge you $3.50 to walk through what they consider a museum, but it's just a bunch of old coke bottles, and a shack out back that used to be a soda shop. It literally takes 2 minutes to see everything

Kathy Perry

Never realized there was so much Coca Cola memorabilia! We didn't study every little thing so it took us 30-45 minutes to go through it.

C Y

Nice little, walk through museum where Coke was first bottled.

David C.

Cute local museum. Thought Coca-Cola was all about Atlanta but no... It was first bottled here! Suggest a coke float after the visit, as a treat....

Cheryl Lawrence

A must see for us baby boomers; thoroughly enjoyed it; well worth the $3.50 each to go through the museum & the lady was very informative. Major bonus was the original coke formula

debbie nuncio

We did not take the museum tour and only stopped in to get a cold drink. There is a memorabilia store with cute coke items but they're a bit pricey.

Jordi Orte

Curioso museo de la cocacola en un lugar inesperado. Frente a los muros de contención del Mississipi.

Sheryl Kring

It was okay, very small, not alot there. Did have a few nice displays

Rhiannon Breeze

Not terribly exciting. Kind of something of nothing

Randy S

Many interesting advertising and promotional pieces from Coca Cola. The bottling machine was my favorite part. Lots of history here.

Ron Hoekstra

Darlene Lewis

The Master

Its ok you have to pay to enter.

Lorantz Rogers

Not much to see. The lady working there is really nice.

Dave Shapiro

Neat place with tons and tons of Coka Cola antiques. There are several rooms filled with everything from original dispensers to hundreds of bottles to odd items with Coke logos. This is a must stop for anyone who collects Coke items. In addition to this, you get a free drink at the end of the (self guided) tour.

milt paquette

It was nice, only $3.50 to go through museum. Only $1.89 for an 8 oz. bottle of Coca-Cola. Details the bottling history.

s love

Love 2 know about history.

Allan Wilson

The first place coca cola was bottled. Great collection of coca cola membrobilia. At $3.50 a head entrance fee it is well worth the visit.

Gemma Rovira

Si te gusta la coca cola este es tu museo. Fantastico!

Kim G

Not what I expected

Lizzie Crisp

You get what you pay for. It's very small but can be interesting to the right people. Little kids probably won't care unless you buy them a soda.

Tim S

Interesting little museum, we stopped on our way north touring. Worth it if your passing and interested in coke history.

Michael Sims

It was nice, but like all of these small museums, it reeked of mold and mildew. Great exhibits and informative. We enjoyed it and even made purchases to help keep it open. Worth checking out!

Just Lu

Underwhelming. Very small. Self-guided. Should be free, imo... the lady at the door was very nice. Be sure to get a float before you leave!

rick williams

Beepin' Boopin'

Very cool, very nice cola

Samuel Mandell

Loved this place

Sandra Williams

It's more for the older generation.

Thomas

The very first bottled Coca-cola happened here. I mean what a cool spot and piece of history. The people complaining about a $3.50 cover to enter.. give me a break they'll spend more money on lunch but don't want to help this place stay open. The place is smaller, but lots of neat stuff and great information to read, for those that take the time to do it. If you just walk through and don't look around I can see why people wouldn't enjoy it.. but that's the whole point in going lol. Lots of neat old artifacts and the ladies working were so friendly and informative. Of course we had to buy a bottled coke and drink it!

Diana Richardson

Nostalgic great place to go!

tim jordan

Stop in and have a Coke Float

Candice Mitchell

Great little museum! The ladies running it are so nice. I left my wallet, and they found us to return it!

Dixie Pixie

Buy the driving tour CD, lots of info and it keeps the pace well. Beautiful grounds, amazing thought-provoking statuary & monuments.

Nathaniel Barber

COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME! Self guided tour of Coca-Cola products that you can view in any antique store. Also they had no AC. It took a total of 5 minutes to complete the tour.

Felicia McCasland

Loved reading the story and seeing my Coca cola history

Mary Grace Gauerke

Great place to learn the history of Coca-Cola and the role the city of Vicksburg had in its history and the Biedenharn Family and Store had a active part in its success. This museum has a nice collection I wished there was more. I hope they finish the soda fountain in the back building and had a place to experience the taste of Coca-Cola or soda water from back in the day. With the live narrator Serving would be awesome... sharing recipes etc.

Mitchell Smith

Great place to visit

J. K.

Boring, just come cola collection

Donna Lowe

We enjoyed the antiques and the old soda fountain.

Robyn

Fun little place to see some awesome Coca-Cola memorabilia.

Melinda Leon

This museum has a lot of untapped potential.

Justin Hunt

The museum was small but neat. The real treat was the Coke float. Lots of different flavors of ice cream and soda to mix and match. I had the mint chocolate chip and coke which was surprisingly good.

Ezeikel Newton

Worth the price.

John Petermann

A few displays, a short walk through the museum that does not take long. If you are a die hard coke collector may enjoy yourself more than a non collector. All in all it took 5 minutes.

Joshua Way

Love the history there. The people are super friendly too!

Craig Langkamp

Nice to see you where Coca-Cola actually originated in Vicksburg.

John Procell

Not a good experience, woman behind the counter was somewhat rude. If you are expecting a real old time drug store experience, I suggest somewhere else. We ordered coke floats and what we got was a scoop of ice cream with some coke out of a plastic container in a RED SOLO CUP. I could have made those at home. My kids said the same thing. Not an authentic type experience. Would not recommend even for the museum tour.

Melody Swauger

A nice small museum.

Brittani Barbo

Very interesting and informative place. Friendly staff

Dale Sharp

Worth the $3 to see the Museum

David Bowden

Small quaint but a little expensive for as little as it was.

Rich Mcgoldrick

Interesting piece of history if you are in the area. Small walk through exhibit that takes only a short amount of time and gives the history of Coca Cola and how they were the first to bottle it.

Theresa Casey

Really cool place to visit.

Joshua Thurman

My wife loved coca cola so you know we had to stop here. So glad we did!

Adrianna Burton

Kevin Zhang

The museum wasn't really big, nor did it have incredibly interesting stuff. Also, the store is more of a tourist trap than anything else.

Bob Bohling

Not much to it. A lot of Coke memorabilia and information to read. Won't keep kids interested. Adults will do better on their own, if interested in reading the historical information and taking more time.

Natalie Bartoo

Amazing little museum devoted not just to Coca-Cola but to the first place where it was ever bottled!!

Steven Ozburn

Amazing trip, hard to believe that Coca-Cola originated here

Roger Morgan

I think you need to be a fanatic to get much from here. Plenty of examples of coke bottles etc over the years and a bit of background history.

Patrice Morin

(Translated by Google) Expensive for what there is to see even if some collector's items are nice. Very disappointed (Original) Cher pour le peu qu'il y a à voir meme si certaines pieces de collection sont sympas. Très déçu

Thomas Gillham

Very historical

Matt Warkentin

Fun place to visit for a couple of hours. Two rooms full of Coca-Cola Memorabilia. Don't expect Atlanta's World of Coca-Cola, but a nice place see.

Amanda Marshall

Unique cheap little tour for adults, coke float was good and worth every penny

David Peter

Quaint history of Coca-Cola in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Memorabilia.

Brenda Owens

We got there on Saturday and they had closed early. We were not happy.

Oleysa Davidenko

Fun and unexpesive place for the family. Take the tour and have a float

Ann G. Kinsey

Jennifer Merkle

Small, self guided. Lots of cool stuff in their collection. Lady at the front was nice enough. With an entry fee I was expecting more. Did enjoy a Diet Coke float on my way out.

Terrie Westbrook

Fun place! Learn how Coca-Cola began!

A Walker

cute. if your expecting a huge huge deal, this not the place. 3.50 to get inside and 15 min walk thru. lots of info, but not someplace I would have driven hrs to see.

Kacey Killebrew

Neleini Esmeral

Cute little museum, inexpensive to take a tour and they have great Coca-Cola floats

Hugh Hillenbrand

Ok not for everyone

Ed Kosmicki

Fun little museum

Craig Markley

3 stars but you still need to stop by and check it out. 3.50 per person

Diana Duangnet

Grab a Coke or a even more delicious Coke float and browse the museum to learn about the history of Coke. The entrance way only a few dollars and worth it. Lots of memorabilia and info.

Chelsy Gable

This was a really neat little spot. You can get coke floats and ice cream here too!

Navin Sadarangani

This is a must go to to understand and appreciate the history behind the Coca Cola Company. This is dedicated to the family that initiated the first bottling of this drink in the United States and outside. The tour is amazing, and so is the staff too. You can even taste the drink from the age old vending machine.

Robby Rucker

Pretty cool if you have time to read and take in all the items there, large and small.

Sweet Tooth Gang

I loved everything about the Coca-Cola Museum. I highly recommend everyone stop by and visit. The ladies was very friendly and it gave a sence of home community.

Holly S

Cost $3.50 person to get in and nothing really worth seeing but memorabilia.

Peggy Reed

Pretty limited but the price was right.

Amy J Apgar

Cute little museum!

James Hayse

Right on the Main Street it's a step back in time to look at old Coca-Cola bottles and visit the times for machines weren't used to make your drinks old fashioned ways go stop in and have a cold Coca-Cola and enjoy

Jonathan Turner

Pretty boring.

William Burke

Nice small museum with interesting history. It could have guided tours with more information available.

Rose Claxton

Great memories of coke cola. Must see museum in Vicksburg

Tracey Walker Dies

It does close earlier than it says. So make it a early during the day trip

Joseph Dutko

Home of Coca-Cola Bottling museum was fascinating view of the history of just how the product expanded. One of the most interesting discoveries was that the inventor of Coke had no expectation of expanding beyond Atlanta. Selling the bottling rights to Joseph Biedenharn in Vicksburg as the saying goes 'the rest is history'. Don't expect a lot from the small museum, but it's going to take you back in time, nostalgia and learning that are the real take-away's, try it you may enjoy.

LaJuana Godwin

Coke float on a hot day in the historic district makes for a nice shopping experience

Bradley Weeks

Very friendly people and a lot to look at!
