Small, inexpensive museum in Salem's Old Town Hall. $3 to get in on this day. It's just one room of banners, info and photos but gives you a ton of info about Salem well beyond the witch hysteria including maritime, revolutionary and slavery. Good spot to get alot of info in one place. I easily spent an hour reading the materials and listening to the gentleman play his music out front.

This cannot be called a museum... only one room, filled with fancy posters to read from (not even chronological order and nothing almost to see. A few fake costumes and a page of an old journal don’t make a museum...

When you first walk in it doesn’t look like much, but there is a ton of information and we are glad we went in. Lots of history on the banners to read and a few artifacts to see as well. There are shows also that happen at specific times.
