REVIEWS OF Plimoth Plantation Waterfront Exhibit IN Massachusetts

Johnathan Farrington

Not a ton of information and rather expensive, for young kids it would be exciting but if you're older than 15 than just look at it from outside and read the wiki page on the Mayflower, after that head across the street and spend the 15 dollars I just saved you on a souvenir or meal for yourself

Valerie Richards

Awesome place, can't wait to go back

Carmen Propiescus

Wonderful place to visit... If you don't like crazy busy bells and whistles.... Just natural beauty with comfort... This is a place I would recommend. The rock is just that ... A rock... But the monument erected in recognition of the pilgrims this is a place to check out.

Sudipta Talukdar

Lovely day and a cool place to spend few hours

Chris Pawlus

Kind of lame, was excited to visit here but is just a tourist trap

Mark Antilla

Even though it is a replica, it is impressive to see the type of ship that I learned about for so long in school. I was surprised at how small it was compared to popular ships that survived the revolutionary war.

A replica of the Mayflower in the harbor of Plymouth.

Bruce Provencher

It was ok but obviously can't compare to having the Mayflower here.

Alvin Nguyen

It was a rainy day on a small boat. The actor/historians are good, it's just kind of a small boat.

mayflower ll, missing ! has not been there for last 2 years and will not return for another year. ship is in ct, being redone ? would have been nice to know before I drove 1600 miles to see it,then find out it's not there. visited several sites before going ,none mentioned ship not there.

Richard Brown

We went during a free day and it was lovely. It seemed a bit expensive other wise. Short visit as there isn't much to it but the folks are great with some lovely tales and my kids enjoyed it even if it got quite crowded.

Mike I.

Feel the history first hand.

Mark Anthony Brennan

M MacFarland

Impressive boat but too commercialized and way to crowded to enjoy.

erin byrne maness

The Mayflower 2 is in CT right now being rehabbed, but it's pretty cool when docked here. Surprisingly tiny but very well recreated, Mayflower 2 is worth a visit. Plymouth Rock is underwhelming no matter what your expectations are.

Ricky Graham

If you are looking for an unbelievable seafood meal, you will not find a better place to get it than Woods! Not a big fancy place, but the location, portions and taste don't getany better anywhere in the USA. After being on the Cape for a year, Wood's by far, outdoes any place else....and we have tried many!

Chuck Hazeltine

Lots of history here.

Lovely downtown area, cant wait until the Mayflower II is back

Brad Provencher

Really cool place to visit with historically accurate portrayals by actors. It helps you get a real feel for what life was like and what they had to go through to come across the ocean. Very interesting and fun.

I was expecting there to be more actors but we did get there right as they opened so we might have missed them. The first non actor gentleman on deck was extremely informative the lady down below deck was more shut in terms of giving information and the actors were very good in their roles and got a couple of chuckles out of everyone. I still can't believe how small the boat is (with 100+ people on board).

John Cook

Good visit. Wished the Mayflower II was there. Why would they drydock the most important thing people come to see in tourist season? Bring a shitpot full of money. I don't think you can by anything that cost under 5 bucks.

Shawn Fraser

Fun to see the history here. Beautiful in the spring/summer.

Sean Stallings

Plimouth Plantation is a great place to see Native Americans and Pilgrims how they lived and worked together in a setting that brings you back in history with perfect detail.

It is out for maintenance and won't be back until 2019 as I heard on May 19, 2017. Check before you go.

I went to Plymouth in my fourth grade end-year trip, and we got to see the Mayflower II. It was pretty awesome! There were people pretending to be English colonists, speaking just like them, and I pretty much liked it. ^_^

Very historic place and we have visited several times. The replica of May Flower ship is must visit. The museum and plantation near by gives you an idea how it all began.! Pilgrims came here in -608 and you can the rock the ship hit. Every American should visit to get a glimpse of our history.!

Arco Keijzer

Tobias Siewert

(Translated by Google) I can only warn every tourist. The biggest failure of the holiday. The Mayflower II is not here! It just is not there and no sign to explain, no hint, nothing!

Miguel Cura

Must visit. Cool walk full of history.

Robbie Hughes

Super sweet boat

John Bachman

Great stop for the family. We went to check this out after visiting Plimoth Plantation. Amazing to see this ship and how the pilgrims traveled.

Susan Muench

Love it

Morgan Lindsay Storicks

On a cross country road trip and drove out to Plymouth to see the Mayflower but she's not even here. Don't rely on Google to say this is open and just show up like I did, when they are closed and the ship is gone.

Matt Morris

Very impressive and the staff are really knowledgeable. Amazing to think that such a small ship managed such a journey. Very interesting history and the volunteers aren't afraid to uncover some uncomfortable truths about the pilgrims... Very good and well worth a visit.

Rohit Suri

Nice place to relax and decompress

Dwight Rik Loeding

A must see historical place for any American.

zippo zappato

The ship was tiny! It was an old wine ship used to move wine casks around the coasts of England. The Pilgrims were reading the first English Bible. The Queen of England and then King James made it illegal to have a Bible written in English. The Monarchy wanted complete control of the people. The Bible tells us truth! We all may have Freedom and Liberty from tyranny like those who want to outlaw religious freedom. The Pilgrims risked everything to escape England and start a new life in America. Out of 102 persons who arrived in the new world...44 died in that first cold winter. Most were the mothers who covered the children at night to save them from the bitter cold. Would you be willing to sacrifice all in order to have your freedom to read your Bible? Maybe soon we will have to once again the way most in this country are so Anti-Bible and Christ. Something to consider.

Cayla Slater

I enjoyed it here.

Amy Reardon

Love Plymouth lots of great places to go and see great attractions.

Dominique Freville

Jennifer Murray

The ship is gone for 2 years. It would be nice if this was on the web site instead of saying open until 5.

Florian L.

(Translated by Google) The ship is very beautiful and authentic. Unfortunately, the explanations are rather poor.

Sadly the Mayflower was not there. It was getting fixes.

Sarah Edge

While interested in the history, it's such a short tour you kind of hate to pay for it.

Lilliana Dujsic

I would suggest to all to take this tour and see what people would go trough in order to get a better life!

M R Noneya

Very enjoyable with actors in period costumes. It's amazing to see the ship's scale up close and realize what they accomplished in it.

Matt DeCamp

The ship is not there until 2018. Didn't see anything about it online when we looked it up before hand.

Chris Karl

It's OK by itself. For a good experience, do Plymouth Plantation and the Mayflower together. A good alternative to the Mayflower is the USS Constitution in Boston.

Phil Matson

A historical journey into the Mayflower. The actors will transport you back into time of close quarters and the fear of scurvy. Overall, a great stop for kids and the entire family. Enjoy.

Claus Hammann

Unfortunately the ship is currently in restauration !!!

No Mayflower 2, which was the purpose of the trip.

Adrian Dalca

Very nice experience, the actors really play their role well, worth a visit.

Eric Wait

Great history lesson. The period actors were great. The harsh day made for a more visceral feeling of how it might have been.

Luca

Great replica of the actual Mayflower that the pilgrims rode on here! Haven't been on here, but is astonishing just to see! Feel free to buy tickets and go inside of this boat of history! Even though it is not the actual boat, is was purposely designed to look like it! If in Plymouth, you shouldn't miss seeing the replica of the Mayflower!

Ghia Wittlin

As a history buff I love going to see the Mayflower 2 it is currently out of town for a while being redone. It is really exciting to be coming up on 2020 and to live in a town like Plymouth. When the boat is back I highly suggest you come to town and look around at all the attractions!

Hirohide TOKORO

My great memory of Plymouth. Sincerely appreciate.

Viacheslav Fonderkin

I liked one woman who played her role at this ship. I had the filling that I was back 400 years ago. And the ship is cool! Unbelievable how 130 people could live here.

menier stephane

Way too expensive for us... 12.5 usd for just the visit of the boat!!!

Brenda Marden

Nice place to walk around but disappointed that the boat is in Connecticut getting fixed.

(Translated by Google) At the entrance a sign hangs closed until 2019. We checked with a souvenir shop owner, and he confirmed that the Mayflower II is in a dry dock until about 2019 and until then the museum is closed. The place Plymouth is very nice.

Stephen Chase

Best ship ever!!!

Peter Hurd

Pricy but historic everyone should see it once.

Suzy Bunn

The Pilgrims lived it and I got to experience it! What brave and determined people. Very worth while to know your heritage.
