Beautiful building and museum. It is a little pricey at $12.00 per person, though. They offer discounts for active duty military, but not veterans.

Jacopo Santelli

Nice museum

Andrew Folts

Good museum for a short trip visit to Plymouth

On n'a pas eu le temps de visiter le musée, mais la dame à l'entrée était super gentille et nous a expliqué en détail toute son histoire (c'est le plus vieux musée des USA). La prochaine fois que j'irai la bas, je prendrais le temps de le visiter.

Well worth the time

Considering the budgets available to our cultural landmarks. The museum is well cared for, has a good flow and a rich amount of artifacts. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Charlie Guile

Don't waste your time with the treasure hunt...there were no treasures. While you're at it, skip the museum. We basically went in to get info on what to do on Thanksgiving. 4 stars for their friendly staff.

Small musuem. No discounts except for active duty military. Historically important exhibits but you can be in and out in 30 minutes.

I love the history, I love that it’s actually open in February. The ladies working were adorable and so helpful! Although it’s not large, there are many neat artifacts and a lot to learn! I had a great experience and I’m really happy I went. Kids are free in February which was awesome because we came late at 350, and they close promptly at 430. I could have used some more time. The kids got age appropriate scavenger hunts which they loved. Recommend go! I think an hour would be adequate.

Great history. My son loved the treasure hunt and it helped him learn more about our history. All of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the bathrooms were sparkling clean.

Alright.. museum has 15min video explaining reason why settlers decided to come, details of initial contact with natives and early thanksgiving. Its a very small museum, $10 is entry fee. Some artifacts of first settlers are on display like bible, weapons, documents, ....

Fabien Dariel

Visite intéressante. Quelques objets et peintures illustrant la vie des premiers colons de la ville + une vidéo instructive. Une petite exposition temporaire en plus et un prix correct. A faire pour les petits budgets

My husband and I enjoyed the "interpretation" paintings of events of history. The explanations of how they visioned and how off the mark they were. Opened my eyes to a few missed details. We will be bring my parents, when they come for a visit.

The oldest public museum in the U.S. (built in 1824), showcases possessions of the early Pilgrims - an impressive collection of things that belonged to the original pilgrims. This museum is a precious gem. Won’t mind a bit of history.

Pilgrim Hall houses an impressive collection of things that belonged to the original pilgrims. The video is engaging and interesting, and there is artwork on display upstairs depicting how our picture of who the pilgrims were has been shaped through history. This museum is a gem.

J Cormier

Great remodel several years ago and solid, accessible history.

Chad Germer

A lot of neat history in this museum . I highly recommend taking in this bit of history.

This is a small museum but well worth the visit because of the unique artifacts within. There is a good display to inform you about the actions of the Pilgrims before they came to North America. For example, I learned that they did not come straight from England! The film is good, and there are pieces in the museum that were belongings of the Pilgrims. I was especially impressed by the cradle of the first baby in the colony, the country’s oldest needlework sampler, and the colony charters. When I visited, there was a very good informative collection of clothing which talked about how the Pilgrims have been portrayed over the years and what they actually wore. There was also a rotating exhibit to the left of the front door which, when I visited, contained examples of wedding dresses from the 1600s to present day. The museum also contains a library and a very nice collection of oil paintings. There is a small gift shop with books, trinkets, and jewelry. There is very limited parking in the front, but a larger lot in the back. Handicapped people should try to park in the front if possible. The building does have an elevator and air-conditioning. Allow an hour for your visit, or more if something particularly interests you.
