The man running the place was amazing...so knowledgeable and friendly and informative. It could have been a class we were taking...we walked out with so much information. The museum itself was beyond fascinating.

This is one of the best places in the area for your time getting to know glass.

I think it must be closed---but if it is still open, TOTALLY lacking signs on Wamsutta St!

A hidden gem. Would have never expected to find such a cool place. Went in with a question about a piece and spent an hour looking around. Also a flee market both upstairs and downstairs with tons of things. Fun place to kill a few hours. So many things to see.

It's closed, disappointed because I really wanted to check the place out. Says nothing on their website about it being closed

hila .

Nice meuseum in the end of an antic store. Base in a place that was a glass factory in the past. The meuseum are small , but include very nice collection, especially glass animals. Admission fee of only a fee of only few dollars.

Well worth paying a small donation to browse this local museum. Personal guided tours explaining the various pieces and their history is a great touch.

I live very nearby this place and it’s a favorite to visit! The glass museum is in the back of the New Bedford Antiques building on Wamsutta Street. Last time I went it was like $5 to get in but it’s so worth it! Everything is beautiful and the man that runs it most of the time is incredibly knowledgeable about the pieces. Some of the pieces change color, and they even have some radioactive glass pieces that glows green (behind a protective barrier, of course). 10/10 do suggest!

Marie Adaes

Beautiful pieces on display, enjoyed them all.

Really cool selection. The curator showed us some extra stuff and that was really nice. Love that it's inside a consignment shop
