This Museum belongs to the category of Museum.
Simply put a great man a great museum. Some of the photos can bring a tear to your eyes. Especially when you stroll through John Jr. Section. TRUELY touching ,to lose a young family with unknown potential. How knows the world could be different today,or shortly in the future. The museum is well worth the time even if JFK was not one of you favs.
Very Interesting.
Just pictures of JFK up on a wall.
Its more of a gallery really. Just photographs but great photos.
Nice memorial about the Kennedy family. Although the main focus was on President Kennedy,, there were lots of photos of the entire Kennedy family. Plus, there was a Robert room and a Jackie room. If you're in the area, I highly recommend visiting.
Excellent
Heart strings
very interesting..I felt his energy sincerity and passion watching and listening to the various video tapes.
Very interesting and definitely worth doing if you are in the Hyannis area.
The girl at the ticket window who greeted us (first name begins w B) was quite unpleasant and made us feel we were putting her out by asking to buy a ticket to see the Camelot exhibit, which by the way, deserves a 5 star rating. Aside from the front end sour reception, the museum is worth a visit.
Wonderful...
Good way to spend an hour reading and looking at photos about the history of JFK and family. Reasonably priced entrance fee also a small gift shop with a very crabby over worked volunteer at the register.
Very emotional tour.
Incredible history
Very informative little museum. Doesn't take long to get through it. Right in the heart of downtown Hyannis.
Great place for history and culture check it out.
Great exibits
I fill very warm in my heart, is
great musuem to learn about the kennedy family
Early and contemporary history of the greatest President ever.
A fantastic museum of the life and times of JFK. I lived through that time when he became president and unfortunately shot. Such a promising life lost.
A Cape Cod vacation must stop! Very informative museum on the history of the Kennedys.
If you loved or remembered JFK. You have to stop here. Great history. I will always remember this place.
Small but perfectly formed - no more than half to one hour.
The half I saw on jfk history I could probably read online. They were remodeling the other half with pictures from Kennedys photographer. They looked beautiful.
Super interesting, a little bit small but we learned a lot !
JFK JR. new exhibit is so moving!
History in all its glory about the Kennedy's
VERY EDUCATIONAL FILLED WITH GREAT HISTORY ABOUT THIS GREAT FAMILY
It was such an amazing experince
Beautiful story for the beautiful people they were. We really enjoyed this quiet tour!
Great piece of history.
It is not a museum but a gallery of photographs. I didn't see a single artifact displayed. Interestingly, visitors are prohibited from taking pictures.
Shrine to JFK. He may have been a great president and the pictures housed in this building may be a nice way of cataloging his political career but all I saw was an expensive photo album. Their message: JFK was a great president who liked Cape Cod. I felt cheated having walked in thinking it was a museum.
Love all the history of this town.this is a must go see place.
Informative history of the Kennedy family
Small museum of JFK a lot of pictures with a short video and a room dedicated to JFK jr
We are so glad we stopped here. Great parking, easy to find too. Celebrating his 100 birthday and so much to see in museum. Give yourself time. Small fee to enter and a gift shop with many momentos. We also got postage stamps commerating 100 yrs. Gave our 8 & 12 yr old grandsons books and post cards to put away.
Quick tour. Great photos of the Kennedy family. Staff at the museum was very friendly and helpful.
In the middle of downtown Hyannis. A great timeline of events in the family. Nice sized parking lot behind the museum that allows access to main street Hyannis and all the shops and restaurants. Very inspirational place. Must see when in Hyannis!
Very interesting and well organized exhibition. If you want to read everything I would suggest a 2h visit
Great place and nice memorial but price is up there.
Very organized place. Wow it is so detailed in its timeline of the Kennedy family.
Incisive.
I thoroughly enjoyed my tour of the JFK Museum in Hyannis MA. He was President during my preteen years and the museum brought back memories of the greatest President in my lifetime. He accomplished amazing thing in his short time in office. The pictures of JFK and his family are beautiful.
Is a nice museum of John F. Kenedy in is hometown which are very proud of him
Lots of cool facts about the life of JFK and his wife Jackie. Pretty small so you can go through the whole thing in less than two hours (an hour if you're a fast reader). You get to take in all the amazing photography by Jaques Lowe, who followed the Kennedy's through the entire campaign and presidency.
It was soo0 good to see all the family pictures.
Wonderful exhibit of JFK's life.
I wish it had more family artifacts. The museum is lovely, has many beautiful pictures and captions, but is lacking in items that may have been owned by the family and or have historical significance. There also was a lack of flow such that the rooms were quite crowded....
Interesting photos
Small but interesting museum if JFK is of any interest
Well done but not much depth. Photos were excellent.
Okay, but needs something other than displays of well known photographs. Video not great. Ok for an hour, but would not recommend for those who do not want to read a lot of posters or are well read on Kennedy's family life and early years. Definitely not for children younger than 14 or so, as they would be bored.
excellent exhibit
Educational and inspiring. Reminded me of things I have forgotten over the years.
Nice museum
Beautiful photos of JFK and his family brought back wonderful memories.
Museum is very nice and goes through the life of president Kennedy.
The building itself is a spectacular piece of architecture that houses tastefully curated historical memoirs of JFK. Really loved the intimate theatrettes and footage of the president at various stages of his life. I came away with a much better understanding of the man and , in particular, his role in defusing the Cuban missile crisis which all happened when I was only a toddler.
Lovely place to remember the history of a man who was Presidential and his family
Very nicely presented museum, a must for anybody interested in the Kennedy family
Very nice. You really get to see a more intimate side of the Kennedy clan . It was a nice experience.
A nice tribute, but a pretty lame museum. It offered very little artifacts and instead was just a quick walking tour of large photos. Oddly, they were very strict about not taking photos of their copyrighted exhibit. Who wants photos of photos??? I wouldn’t recommend it to others traveling to the cape.
An interesting and at times moving tribute to the Kennedy family. Pictures, items and film clips from the lives of it's members. A must see for visitors of Cape Cod.
If you're a fan of JFK, you'll want to swing by. It's not a particularly large museum but there are lots of great photos (some never released publicly) of JFK and his family here. There is a whole timeline of his life including information, pictures, and displays about from when he was born thru his presidency and onto the legacy he left today. It is a smaller museum and you can probably see most of it in under 2 hours.
Great photography exhibit. Very nice place, good gift shop with friendly service.
Small museum. Interesting vacation based history of jfk and his family!
I like all the pictures of the Kennedy's that were posted on the walls. Also the timeline of the Kennedy's that dated back to the 1800's. No cameras were allowed.
A great collection of photographs cataloguing the life of JFK and his family. There is also a separate room dedicated to the life of Bobby Kennedy.
The photos and exhibit were just wonderful. Really captured the life of the Kennedy family and their rise to fame.
Historical museum all about Camelot! Fascinating and interesting for kids.
Pretty place. The museum requires a fee, so I didn't go inside, except for the gift shop.
Great place .lovely staff .well worth a visit
If you like history and picurecia the right place, nice and quiet
Great start very knowledgeable and friendly. The museum is small but has tons of pictures and information on three generations of Kennedys starting with Joseph Kennedy Senior. Also lots of great gift ideas.
Super busy and small. Important place to go in these times. Decent walk through history of Kennedy family. Parking is a mess. Worth the hustle once or twice. Area eateries for family or couples.
A very interesting small museum, focusing on the Kennedys as individuals and as a family, rather than on their political lives. Some beautiful, intimate photographs. No mention of Marilyn!
great museum. amazing photos. very rude staff
As an admirer of the Kennedy family, as well as a longtime visitor of Hyannis, I couldn't help but feel let down by this place. The photographs and other displays, to be fair, were impressive. However, the museum offered no historical sustenance and spoke little to nothing of the accomplishments of JFK or the well-documented tragedies that the family endured. It wasn't awful for what it was, but it didn't live up to the billing in my opinion, which is disappointing. It does not build a legacy for JFK, or any of his family.
Some really interesting collections of photos, many which I've never seen before. It highlights important moments in JFKs life, without diving into the assassination. Actually, nothing super in depth, just a nice overview
Very beautiful and interesting if you like American History
Fantastic piece of history. Really enjoyed learning about our 35th President and the road he took to get there
Some interesting photos on display but not much beyond that. Not sure it was worth the price. I’m also not a fan of museums not allowing photography.
Right on Main St... quick and educational story of his life and the Kennedy Family. Special room for Robert as well... make sure you take the time to watch the short movie...
If you're a fan of the Kennedy's this is a great stop
Very moving as memories of the Kennedy's were accessed. Well done!
Very nice museum. A MUST if you're in Hyannis. I only wish some information about our 35th President would have been portrayed rather than same already known facts!
Very nostalgic. Awesome history of the Kennedy family.
This was a fascinating museum with pictures I'd never seen of the Kennedys. The statue out front of a barefoot JFK is pretty awesome.
Very touching tribute to a wonderful family
Cool museum, but it’s too pricey for what it’s worth
Very nice place. The staff is happy to engage in conversation with visitors. Lots of information.
Great place to visit and get some history lessons. A lot to see and a lot to learn. Not the biggest museum around, but most definitely worth the visit.
Small museum but so much to grasp for it. So much information on our former president I loved it and would definitely go back.
When in Hyannis Port this is a must stop. Inside pictures are not allow. You get a great feel of the life and times of this family. The tragic losses, and strong family union.
Good museum with lots of great pictures. Your own photography is not allowed as its a private collection.
JFK’s history organized in each room by the years leading up to his assassination, beginning with the marriage of his parents—Rose Fitzgerald & Joseph P. Kennedy. Great pictures of his life in Hyannis. Includes a intro video. Restrooms are located in a separate building.
Really nice documentation of JFK, glad we stopped.
Worth seeing, just amazing
Very informative
I was a child when JFK was assassinated so I learned a lot about him, his family and his legacy.
It s interresing place if you like american's Kennedy history
Quaint home in a nice neighborhood, informative tour, friendly guides, donations accepted
Photos are nice. With groupon a good value.
Great place to learn about the Kennedy family.
Small but packed with gorgeous photos which I at least had never seen before.
Nice museum
Wonderful hour spent reliving history of one of the greatest President's. Especially in our current political environment. Lots of wonderful pictures with historical context and a couple of small areas with videos. Overall it was a moving experience, glad I got the opportunity to see it.
Very cool, complete history of the Kennedys, lots of great photos
WOW what a great place. Go if you can!!
Demo, GOP, Independ... You have to see this place... If nothing else it's history
This is a very well designed museum. It reflects JFK lifeline very well and flowed well. The pictures were unbelievable. You should go if in the area
It's smaller than you might think, bit if a very nice photo homage to JFK and his life. The secondary exhibit to John Jr was very nice also. There is a charge to get in. There is free public parking behind the museum.
Interesting photos of JFK'S history. Would like to see more written history.
This is a very good place to go down memory lane. Very informational. The pictures inside are awesome. Great videos from the past. Worth the money
Not what I expected. Great information, loved all the photos, but that was 85 percent of the museum. For this being his home town I expected more then a photo documentry. Very few artifacts, or personal anything of the family.
Me and my family had fun there
Not sure if this is the only JFK museum. Hopefully not because there wasn't much about President JFK. I stepped in to avoid the rain, rather bland, not talking about JFK only bits and pieces. Not worth the money.
Friendly knowledgeable staff. Nice stop in town especially for rainy days. Family and kid friendly!
I was kind of disappointed. I expected some displays. There were plenty of pictures to see
While staying in the area, we went to this museum. It was a nice museum with lots of pictures and historical context about the Kennedy family. A great find.
Great movies and pictures here.
Thoroughly enjoyed, well laid out museum.
A lot of nice photos and a few videos but not much more. Not worth the money.
I loved anything that has to do with the Kennedys so I really enjoyed going back in time
Take your time Brainwashing in place American greed But interesting in omissions
Simple but interesting museum. Gives a view into the Kennedy family not just the president.
Very informative on Kennedy history
It was very informative lots of pictures, videos were interesting. Wish it was bigger
Great museum, you can follow the Kennedy trail afterwards to put a place to what's discussed in the museum.
Interesting photo exhibit of President Kennedy and family. Just wished that there were pieces of memorabilia.
Very interesting lots of memories brought back
I love anything Kennedy related so I really enjoyed it.
Loved the museum, photos and short movies. Very well done historically!
Great selection of vinal.
We LOVED this museum, brief, not expensive and well-presented, HOWEVER, my 87 year old mother should not have to go outside the building (basically leave the museum) to use the bathroom. She was really looking forward to the museum, but she has bathroom issues and mobility issues. And the woman who said that in 1926 they did not envision this many visitors was obnoxious. Find a place to put a bathroom, at least for the handicapped.
Great tribute to a great man. Mainly photos with a few videos.
Very interesting history lesson on JFK. Well worth the visit if in the area.
Excellent clean good history
Loved it...very nonopinionated but very informational
It was really nice, I went because my dad would have loved to have seen it. Maybe he was hanging out with me today..
Learned a lot about JFK and his connection to Hyannis although I thought there would be more general information here about his presidency and legacy.
This was small, intimate muse about JFK, Jackie and the family.
Not so much of a museum. Good collection of photos leading up to his presidency. The price is a bit steep ($11 for adults) for a 1 hour exhibit
Really loved this museum really cery interesting
Really enjoyed the museum. It was very informative and you can walk around at your leisure, take your time and discover what a great man President Kennedy was as well as his family. Definitely worth the price of admission. The walk round took about 45 mins so don’t plan your day around it.
Very intersting
So excited to see this on my birthday.
Nice small museum, mostly a collection of large photo displays. A good stop to include on your tour of the area.
Was very interesting.
Would love to visit again at a more leisurely pace!
Very well done tribute to the Kennedys. The kids loved the scavenger hunt.
Nice place to visit. It brings to light an important time in our history.
I was there a year ago was the retired Military Officers Association of Cape Cod we had a lunch in there in a tour it was well done
Great to learn the details of the life of President Kennedy and the rest of his family. It focused on his life, his work, and his presidency. It then goes into his memory and what others in his family have accomplished. Personally it's hard for me to see someone who has passed and how much they are missed and how much they were loved, but it's good to feel that. People continue living until the last person to remember them has passed. JFK will live in memory for a very long time and for good reason.
Interesting display of John F Kennedy and family life in Hyannis.
Very informative, warm and extremely knowledgeable staff that will walk you through history and The Kennedy family. It’s small, very visual with great photography. I’ve been there lots of times and always interesting.
