Nice museum with local charm! It was admittedly small, but the exhibits were tasteful and well organized. Two of the exhibits were more geared toward children than I was expecting, but there was plenty for adults to enjoy as well!

I would have given them a higher rating but the fact of feeling like i being followed had me a bit on edge. Museum was small but nice. We went during a time in which they were showing work from local artist in which i had the honor to meet one of them. Mr. Renfield was awesome.

A wonderful, magical place for children of all ages, adults, and seniors. This facility has handicapped parking directly in front of the museum, wheelchair/walker accessibility, and elevators to various exhibits. The experience includes interactive activities for children and parents to share in together. You will see a diversified collection of contemporary art, abstracts, photography, and onsite sculptures, to name a few. Visit the permanent Egyptian Exhibit and Moving Objects of Oceana Don't miss the exquisite Eleanor Norcross exhibit; museum founder, painter, philanthropist, and so much more. I highly recommend the Fitchburg Art Museum as one of the overall best places to go where the whole family can enjoy themselves.

Fitchburg Art Museum is an amazing cultural experience in the heart of Fitchburg Mass. Exhibits change frequently --- so it's never quite the same experience twice! Very unique and thought provoking art in varying medium. Always an event, opening, artist talk or Farmer's Market on Free First Thursdays to attend. Highly recommend. Kids welcome and many activities for them also--- mine loves the Egypt room!

Paula J Cronin

Something for everyone to see, there is just so much inspiring beautiful art work to see, a great way to spend time together with your family and friends.

Steiny Gomez

This museum is so cute and quaint, it is affordable I only paid $5 with a student discount. The exhibits are a mixture of local and world art, the staff is friendly and are knowledgeable on the art that is being displayed. It is child friendly, I noted dress up areas and a few games. I also give them a lot of credit for their bilingual approach by having the descriptions in both English and Spanish. Highly recommend!

Linda Herbison

The special exhibits were fun and worth seeing

Many of the pieces on display were made by relatively local artists. Many of the subjects are of local interest (local buildings, etc) as well. Many art museums I've visited become exhausting after a few hours. Fitchburg Art Museum is nicely sized and kept my interest throughout. The docents with whom we interacted were both friendly and knowledgeable. Tucked back where it is, it can be easily overlooked.

The current exhibit at the Fitchburg Museum of Art is over the top. Not he old FAM that I remember. More than one visit for me (89yrs old) to take it all in. The Art in Bloom show is the most exciting ever. Many thanks to all the hard work and talent bringing a lovely welcome to Spring.

All works are kaleidoscopic; they are usually composed of indescribable expressions. Therefore, art's depth also can be said to be unlimited. Is pen art's depth also infinite? In other words, do the lines and dots flowing from the nib of a pen have an artistic qualification? In this respect, it is worth thinking deeply. Pen art begins from an essence of nature's fundamental values. From the standpoint of value, or color, a harmony of black and white is essential in nature. As it is impossible to see any color in darkness, distinguishing color is an essential role of light. That is why the soul is drawn to light. Whiteness, or light is a spiritual reflection of the soul while blackness, or darkness is a reality of life on earth. As the color green is an essential color of vegetation, burnt charcoal is an earthy color that will stay near black. Blackness is heterogeneous and may be hostile to life. If blackness belongs to the essence of nature, it also may be said to represent the image of death. A combination of black and white constitutes degrees of lightness and darkness. When painting black on a white background, the soul is transported to the white background. Whiteness comes to life when contrasted with black line and black space. In this case, soul also may be expressed through the blackness. Soul may be transported to the black or a combination of white and black, which shed a mysterious merit to the soul or spirit. Pen arts starts and ends from an essence of nature's fundamental contrasts. The primary essence is infinite and eternal while the artistic harmony of black and white can take one's breath away. But, this is not possible until a metamorphosis has been realized over many years and spiritual transcendence has occurred. The transfer of spirit occurs when one's life experiences are projected onto the white canvas in harmony with blackness. That is the true 'pen art.' Artist Lee Young Jun I am a Korean. I pioneered the "Lee Young Jun Pen Art" and Perfected the genre. I am Artist Lee Young Jun. Pen Art is the only genre is an important work In the world. The works are extremely valuable. And no one is able to work not dare to imitate. The hope my work can be sympathy to many people. Thank you. "Lee young jun PEN ART General Studies" (General Studies: 總論) PEN ART (Korea) ------------------------------------------- Infinite line of dots is the symbolism. That symbolism is the Warriors (變化 無雙) varies depending on the depth of the spirit. All the work is true. Because the Warriors lead to changes indescribable expression. Thus, the depth of art is infinite. Could the infinite depth of the pen when it art? Generally, coming out at the end of the pen point line Sure enough, a point that could you equip artistry. Need to think deeply about the benefits. Pen art begins with the fundamental nature of the natural color. In a blend of Black (黑), back (白) in the nature of color is essential (根本 的) in nature. Just as two trillion people in the dark with no visible color It is an essential function of the light that allows you to distinguish between colors. Since deulinda led the Spirit (靈) in the light that appears white. White or light is a consolidation (魂 的) the Spirit (靈) images. Natural color is black. As green is the essential color of plants Burned Charcoal is the essential color remains black. In absolute darkness, there can be no exercise of any life. Black has a heterogeneous (異質 的) and hostility (敵對 性) for life. If black is the essence (本質) of natural black is a spiritual picture (靈 的) death. The contrast (明暗) achieved when the black and white combined (結合). Here.We black on white display is 靈 is imported (移入) on a white screen. When you meet with the black line (線), black cotton (面), white is the resurrection (復活). It can express the spirit through the black. Young (靈) is the only will that can be imported into the black, the spirit and the soul color Black (黑), back (白) Combining (結合) has a mystery. And the essence of the fundamental color pen art of nature Starting with the ends in the nature of the underlying color. Fundamental nature is infinite (無限) and which is eternal, black, back harmony to the artistic (藝術 的) It can breathe enough to live. It is a land the finished trim throughout the time It can be achieved only after, and should be a perfect melody that holds the soul (魂) premises. Black, in a spirit of harmony bag until when imported spirit in the white screen archeology (孤高), vivid melodic world is created (創造). It is a true art pens.
