You will see all the information of real people like you who consumed the services of Dreamland Wax Museum (Museum) in the area close to the state of Massachusetts.
At this moment this firm receives a score of 4.0 stars out of 5 and that score was based on 529 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is positive, and it's based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the score is very reliable. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place tatings when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Museum is included in the category of Museum.
I want thank Tuezdae so much for the opportunity and the experience of being a wonderful host. Her warm greeting of welcoming my family and I. My family and I enjoy wonderful conversations with her. We learned about diversity among Bostonian and tourism and I will love to come back to the Wax Museum. Such a great wonderful, magnificent experience. We will be back really soon. Thank you so much.
OMG!!!!! THIS WAS AN AMAZING MUSEUM. FROM MRS. JAY? TO THE PHOTOGRAPHERS AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!! I HATE MASCOTS, CLOWNS AND MANNEQUINS SO TO DO THIS ALONE WAS "HUGE". HAPPY I DID!
The wax models do not look very realistic, and the fact that they had signs that say impeach our president and he’s not my president when being able to tale a photo with the current president, President Trump was very disgraceful. I will not come back to this place again and not recommend it either.
Some we're good renditions, but many seemed way off.
It was fun being able to pose with the figures
Amazing experience!
Very neat place! The wax is so lifelike it's almost spooky!
We liked but resemblance of some of the figures was meh...
Nice little tourist spot! Tickets weren't too expensive and they have lots of deals on their website. You walk through at your leisure, and can pay for photos or take your own for most figures. It was interactive with props for taking photos as well. We had a fun time!
Cool celebrity wax statues
Great Wax Figures!! Awesome props to take photos with!! Great staff!!
It’s good. I think they need a little more people wax though.
Great place to visit.
I am not sure if the wax sculptures' dimensions are realistic.
The museum looks amazing!! our Cashier Expedito is very helpful and nice!
I bought trolley tickets that included a free wax museum visit. Lady at front counter accused me of having forged tickets because stubs were separated by trolley staff. Employees at this attraction all seemed to be lethargic and unfriendly at best. Wax figures could have been done better by a blind drunk person as more than half of the figures looked nothing like the real people. Kennedy, Reagan, Obama, Trump all looked nothing like the real thing. Figures from 200 years ago had better likenesses than people still alive. Save your money for Madame Tussaud’s.
Very cool place!
Really poor wax dolls
Massively overpriced, particularly since even some of the staff agree that many of the models don't look like the real people. Seriously - I've only seen Obama on TV, but I wouldn't have recognised him from his statue! Very disappointing, even though I had a free ticket thanks to the Old Town Trolley T0ur.
I got in for free (with purchase of Old Town Trolley ticket) and this place just wasn't impressive. 2 floors, most of the wax sculptures are way off their mark, and in a city with so much to see, this is really out of place. If you get in free, then maybe spin through in 10 minutes like I did. Otherwise, avoid it and see some of the other great sites in the area.
Augmented reality, scavenger hunt, live music, and endless selfies - love it!
I thought this place was great! A little on the small side but it was fun to go through and take pictures. Plus it is free with the on and off trolley ticket! Definitely worth stopping in.
We got in free with a library pass and it was so much fun. One thing we wish we would have realized is that there are props beside the wax figures you can play with and use for picture taking.
Okayish. Nothing too great. Some of the figures really life like and the rest one goes like this is dumb
Very cool place!!!! I enjoyed it and my 12, 10 & 2yr old girls also loved it. A must see if in Boston, MA
If you get the tickets for the Hop-On Hop-Off Tour it's free admission. The celebrities and notable figures are very life-like. They all may not be a true resemblance of their doppelganger but it's still a good way to spend time and have fun! I would recommend it if you need something to do.
Really fun place!!! And it was free with my purchased trolley tour ticket!!!
It was especially fun to see this museum on Presidents day. Some of the status are very realistic and lifelike. Others are more of a resemblance. We were able to go for free when we bought a trolley bus ticket. It was a very enjoyable experience
OK, but needs much more Conan and much less Whoopi. The wax gets a little melty in the summer. I'd probably give them 4 stars if they had more Conan.
The work on the statues is really average. Most of them do not resemble the actual person. These are the best.
I had a wonderful time thanks to shavell Shavell
Some good and some not so
Very interesting business structure. I found it fun and the was figures convincing. The staff were kind and held smiles, however, it was strangely slep quiet and staff seemed rather bored.
Good place for kids and adults. Buy tickets online will save you $$$
It was OK. Too many of the figures were not a good resemblance at all, most were close and only a handful were spot on. The arms, legs and hands look like they came from old department store mannequins. We have been to other wax museums so we decided to make the 60 mile trip to see this place, which added to the disappointment. I guess if we were in Boston for other reasons and stopped in, I would have felt better about it. It didn't help that I sat in traffic twice as long as the time we spent at the museum but that goes with traveling to Boston.
Price is high and museum is not that large but it's decent.
Thankfully, I had a pass from the library so I didn't have to pay the outrageously high entrance fee (DEFINITELY not worth $25/person!). I agree with other reviewers that some of the figures were good otheres weren't. It was fun to do once but I will most likely not be back.
Friendly stuff and fun learning place about popular people
Not very realistic figures
The wax figures are so life like!
Lots of fun! Caren is a great host!
Pretty small museum but quite nice. Free for those who bought Hop On Hop Off Trolley tour.
This is a fun thing to do when you're just walking around. Mom and I enjoyed it although some of the figures weren't up to par with the rest.
It was a very cool museum with lots to look at
Best cool
It's OK... Something to do while in Boston...
Best wax museum out there!!! So cool that you can take pics with all the sculptures, not many places let you do that. During checkout at the end of walking through the museum, there was the sweetest, friendliest woman!!!! Thank you for everything Laryssa!!!
This was a very amazing museum! They had all of my favorite figures from Trump to Messi! It was like a dream come true! Hector was awesome!
This place is great, there are so many wax figures to check out as long as information about the person. Staff is very friendly, Expedito in the front was very helpful and nice, as well as the gift shop cashier, Hector. If you are in the area this place is a must go.
took my family to the wax museum yesterday and got some super cool pictures at the oval office from a very nice gentleman Victor and then Aaron was very polite and sold me them. 10/10 recommended soooo lifelike that it was creepy but soo cool to see. Definitely will come back.
Great experience! Visiting Boston with my mom and sister. You must visit.
This was museum was so good , it was eerie. The Snoop Dog had me turning around four times, thinking it was real. I thought Nixon was off but an art therapist ( yes they exist ) said that personal likes and dislikes affect how you view the wax people. Real hair, life size and period clothes have you starting.
I have great admiration for the artistry involved in creating wax figures and have seen some wonderful ones in the past. Today we thought we'd check out this museum. It's summer in Boston, and it was hot inside the building. We joked that the poor wax figures were sweating. Some of the figures were really spot-on in the likeness. Others couldn't have been worse. For the price, you will be very disappointed.
The statues are realistic-looking and nicely built. Workers get a little mad when you get an inch closer to the wax figures. Great place, just stay away from the statues.
The wax figures looked real and was the actual hight
He’s hot
Allyson was awesome. Everyone was so nice we had a great time
The majority of the wax figures here are HORRIBLE, to the point of being hilarious. That is NOT what Paul Pierce looks like, or Madonna or Tom Brady, it is laughable, which was the reason for my visit so it still gets 3 stars. It is also very overpriced for what it is.
Leo looks so real and shavell is a great help when going to the museum!! ...shavell
Its ok. Very small. Not that impressive. Afew people there i did like a whole room only of previous presidents.
I went to the museum today and it was a great experience! Lovely ladies at the photo stations Laryssa and Cintia keep up the good work.
Good overall experience, however some of the likenesses are off.
I mean, it's a wax museum. So, if you're into wax museums, you'll probably enjoy yourself at this one. They've cultivated a very clean, comfortable space. Many of the figures are extremely uncanny in their resemblance to the actual people. However, there are a few swings and misses as well. A bit pricey for what it is, but consistent with neighborhood.
A very good replica of Brad Pitt and Leonardo Dicaprio Shavell
The museum was very nice and the service was pretty good. I liked that the staff were respectful and stayed out of the way while we toured the museum. The visit was very memorable and I would definitely visit again.
What's strange about this place is i can only assume the owner did an ebay / Alibaba search for "Famous Wax Works Dolls" and bought them all from different suppliers because the quality varied enormously. JFK looked stunningly real but some of the models looks exceptionally fake. It was 45 minutes of entertainment and chuckles on a rainy day in Boston.
The museum was fantastic and the cashier was very helpful
It was fun.
It's fun, but not worthy the 25 US Dollar. Is a 2 stories building, they have 2 restrooms, and a lot of "statues" very interesting but is in one of the most cool cities, it's not worthy
Super lifelike. Free admission with old town tours
Great customer service. Shavell was an amazing host! Very friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
Had an amazing time and a super helpful staff member Expedito made the experience amazing with his kindness. Would recommend to bring the family and friends.
I had fun! I love was museums, and it's nice to have one in Boston featuring Boston sports figures! Great museum!
Caren was super inviting and I loved seeing my favorite actors realistically!
Great opportunity and lots of fun to take pictures with some really close facsimiles of presidents, celebrities, athletes, moguls, etc. My 4 year old enjoyed posing next to some of my favorite icons.
It was fun!
Dreamland is great if you have about 30min- an hour to spare. Probably not a "destination" but fun to see the figures and learn a bit of history. I would check groupon for a deal here. I probably wouldn't spend $30 on a ticket but with Groupon I only paid $10!
How do you have a wax museum of Boston’s greatest without Conan? No, Whoopi Goldberg is not the same thing. She’s not even from Boston.
Great staff! Everything is awesome!!!
The wax sculptures were amazingly carved and most of them were very realistic. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that in the hall of athletes there were no female athletes! I think that this can be very discouraging to any females. But overall it was a fun experience.
Very small but they have an exposition on all the 45 US presidents which is cool
Good place to kill 30 minutes on a rainy day
Great wax museum and enjoyed going through it.
Leo looks awesome SHAVELL
It was fun, nice experience to see the various wax statues. Most of the wax figures looked like what the actual people look like.
Very cool
The Dreamland Wax Museum is a cool ace to check out. The fee is a little steep at $24.99 per Adult person, at the time of this review (July 2019), but you do get a good amount of wax figures to check out. They have ALL the president's, nicely laid out. Very many celebrities with cool backdrops and some props you can use to take pictures with the figures. A very nice experience to have in the city.
Excellent place to visit.
Nice area to explore and take selfies with celebrities, athletes, historical figures and U.S. Presidents. Downloaded the Dreamland app for a more interactive experience and search for the 3D spots to get points. If you find them all, you get enough points for a free ticket!
I just loved it.. Took a picture with Larry Bird..
It's interesting to see the difference in quality between figures. Some are great some are not.
Great little wax museum. Not as big as some I've been to on the past but fun nonetheless.
Beautiful, sparsely populated place to give a short glimpse or everything American and everything iconic.
Half of the wax statues didn't really look like the celebs they were based off of but they had a few that did. There was a young man in the president's section that knew a lot of stuff. He walked around with us and gave us historical tidbits. I bought my admission ticket through city view tours which got us the harbor cruise and trolley tour too. It was a fun museum because of how comical some of the figures looked, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.
Very good museum except Gandhijis statue.
It was included with the Trolly tour and was good.
They actually have all the president's. This was awesome
Not all wax statues were made equally, some were very well done. But there was a white house, oval office with trump in there, that had a sign. Not my president. Seemed an odd place to protest against the running government.
Fun place. Free with trolley ticket. About 25% of the figures didn't look like the people
It was a fun time
Very fun and interesting. Wonderful staff and Larissa in the gift shop was extremely helpful.
We had a great experience and the waz figures were awesome!
The wax museum was a free outing as part of our trolley tour, and it was such a great start to our tour of Boston! Has lots of famous pop culture and historical figures. A great pit stop to enjoy Boston!
Nice museum with all the Presidents and most famous singers of the U.S.A.
A bit expensive. Many figures are " artist" renditions which means they don't look quite right. President suite was nice, but im not sure I would know what most of them looked like.
Super fun!
A lot of statues... But not the best.. Had to check the names to see who alot of them were.
3 year olds could make a better job
A decent wax museum. Different that others I've seen because it features historical figures more than celebrity. And Boston sport stars are a plus. However, the price is quite high. Worth it only if you can get a discount.
Some are good but some aren't. However the lifelikeness and price makes it worth it.
Do not try to remove Woodrow Wilson's pants. They frown on that and your family will hang their heads in shame.
Half of them look realistic.
Very nice wax museum
Kelly Parker: Creepy Fun Brad Pit didn't look like Brad Pid
It's small and expensive but the figures are remarkable so it depends what you're looking for. My 5 year old was scared at first because it's a little creepy. It's better for teens and older who can appreciate the historical and pop figures.
Awesome wax figures good service wonderful place
Was a fun time!
Nice exhibit fabulous staff
Interesting...but exhibits could be more realistic...
Had a really fun time!
Small but entertaining
The Wax figure looks really real!!! ... Shavell
This place was very interesting
Would like to say how thoughtful the staff here was today. We were out front photographing our bride and groom after their Boston City Hall wedding. Someone came out to let us know we could get some photos with Lady Gaga and Leonardo DiCaprio in the lobby. Before leaving they offered some coupons and said congratulations. Super kind and pleasant! Thank you!!
very good
place was great. expedito was very good help at the front desk. very kind young man
The wax museum was great! There was many wax figures to see! Expedito was very helpful and polite! I would definitely come here again!!
Typical wax museum. All presidents with info on them is there. Enjoyed the other popular figures also. Only disappointing feature was "no photography" in oval office and never shown pic taken of us at beginning of the tour.
Hall of Presidents is cool. The app is neat.
Neat place. I wasn't sure who some of the figures were without looking at the name plates...
For a place that recently opened. It was fun! The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. I can’t wait until they add more. I really liked it.
Nice exhibit but not that much content. JFK and US forefathers were very good.
It was a pretty cool place to go. Has only been open a year and the staff was great. We went on a Sunday night and it really wasn't horribly busy. My favorite was for sure was Miley.
A bit basic but the hall of Presidentsvwas good Free if you rode the right trolley
look really real Shavell
Free with a trolly ticket. The staff was very friendly and polite
This place was amazing!! I've never been to a wax museum. It was very cool!! And I found an admission coupon online; 50% off! Definitely worth it!
I like the place , especially the Hall with all Presidents of United States. very interesting!
I went here alone on an off day when it was raining. There weren't many people in the museum itself which made it so incredibly creepy. I read a plaque inside that said that each wax figure takes months of research and work to complete, and I think that must be some bs because most of the figures do not look remotely like who they are supposed to. The Michael Jackson and the Queen were good, but really the only show stoppers here. The hall of presidents is weirdly laid out so they aren't in order in part of it, which really bothered me. I found myself going back and forth trying to figure out who was actually next. It was made more difficult by the lack of resemblence the figures have to their real life counterparts. Would not recommend, not worth the money and the time.
Brad Pitt is real enough looking that I’m actually afraid to look at him any longer. That’s how similar the wax replicas look like! Yasss! Thanks for Shavell for being a great wax museum host today!
Great. Every President of the US, some more look alike, some less, the Queen very good.interaktive px possibel. The oval office, very nice. Good place to be in bad weather.
Loved the collection.... Nostalgia architecture best.... Great place to spend quality time....recommend it for all.
Some of the figures looked nothong like the people they were supposed to be. Loke miley cyrus looked like wilson philips. However alot of them looked identical. Whoopi gold berg. Snoop dog. Michael jackson etc....its a place to definetly see at leadt once
I went with my husband and my son. We loved it. The wax figures are very cool. I definitely recommend going.
Fun day in Boston with a stop at the wax museum. Great photo ops with some of your favorites.
Excited to see such a great display in Boston. It has great collection. Hope they will add more to it.
Nice wax museum with wax idol of all US Presidents
It was just okay but I had fun. Most of the wax figures look nothing like the actual person. For example, in the presidents section, Obama looks a little strained and Trump doesn’t look like him at all. Fee is kinda expensive.
Nine display. Oveo 100 figures. All the of the presidents.
Presidential display was very interesting and informative. They do need to proofread their descriptions. Noticed spelling and grammar errors.
Honestly without knowing or recognizing the clothing on the figures it's hard to recognize the figure. Most faces didn't represent the actual historical person. I wouldn't recommend wasting your money there.
Very interesting. Some wax figures are spot on. Had a blast visiting.
We had a great time. Definitely recommend!!!
Okay place to visit, not a show stopper though.any of the wax pieces look great, others not so much. Fun to wander and take pics, but not a "must do" attraction.
Larissa is the best ever ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Don't purchase tickets there like I did. Because its discounted with the trolley tour package. Very impressive models, life like even when up close. The employees will take your picture with their camera and sell them to you. I only purchased 3. Very good quality. I wish they had more models. Hard to find the place on my own. Asked 3 different people for directions. Then while on the trolley tour it was pointed out.
Nice place, nice staff and very friendly
This was a great experience! Learned so many facts about the people on display there.
