As of day this firm has a score of 4.7 stars out of 5 and the score was based on 697 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is virtually the top, and it's founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we can conclude that the score is quite accurate. If many people have bothered to value when they are pleased with the business, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to write evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Museum is classified in the category of Art museum.
Wonderful, wonderful place. You can spend the whole day or just pop in for an hour. Creative and high quality art is shown on the gorgeous museum grounds and the building has lots of works inside that are worth checking out. I admit that when it's a nice day out and I'm short on time, I just walk around outside and never visit indoors. Great for kids too! But a gem for adults in the same time which is no small feat. I love this place.
The outdoor sculpture Park is always a nice stroll. However, I have to say that I was disappointed at the museum overall. Maybe I'm just not sophisticated enough to understand it, but everything inside seems like the art did people make fun of. a lot of it looked like stuff that a grade school kid could do. And both my wife and I felt like we didn't have a single emotional response to any of the pieces.
Nice place to visit with beautiful art and scenery.
Really fun inside the museum and outside in the sculpture park. Plan MORE time than you think you’ll need. Worth the drive to Lincoln. Highly recommend.
A must do while in the area. Great outdoor sculpture park as well as indoors. Lovely setting and view
Amazing stunning creative artsy experience
Great park, nice environment.
If you use a bike to get to the museum you get in for free. I came on impulse and loved the outdoor sculpture and the indoor exhibits on architecture.
Really fascinating park and museum, the shop was cool as well the food was lacking, might need to pack a lunch next time. Ample space to explore the grounds great for families or couples as well. I was there because I wanted to swim at Walden Pond but it was full, everything worked out and I got to see some fine art and swim.
Was surprised that walking the grounds now requires paying admission, but happy to help support so many great artists. There was a surprising number of works that our young children found interesting
Love this art museum, inside and outside art available for viewing. Well kept grounds and very clean. Art for all ages and classes to take. Membership is affordable and passes
The sculpture park has wonderful and intriguing displays, some interactive. Great place to visit and get a little exercise.
Absolutely gorgeous, and a beautiful sunny day to boot! Spent the afternoon in the park, just lovely.
Amazing place, low admission, beautiful artwork, I could spend days here! Some of the most famous artists and rarest artwork is shown here. There are frequent tours and artist talks, and sometimes you can even catch the artists installing their work! And oh my, the staff are the nicest people around!
deCordova is a the beautiful sculpture park you will find anywhere. We went to see the New Horizon presentation with a talk of the future of information technology, musical presentations, and a hot-air balloon sculpture.
Good for a nice afternoon walk. All modern art, not much in terms of information about the different pieces. But the grounds are lovely and the setting is relaxing. Great for a picnic. The inside museum was not worth the time -- the current exhibits just not to my taste: I thought they were setting up new exhibits, then was told these ARE the exhibits. Hanging wire? Really? LOL!
Great art in fantastic venue
Wonderful museum. Came to see a kusama and wish i could have stayed to see more.
Really neat sculpture
Such a lovely place for a walk and just a different experience over all. Several people had picnics in the open field. Lots of photo ops too
Nice place for walking
Can't believe it took so long to discover! Fun to walk around both inside and outside. There's plenty of parking too. The past few times it looks like there's been an event, either a wedding or a reunion. Looks like it would a great venue for a large event.
Lovely grounds. Cool outdoor sculptures.
A lovely stroll through a big park with lovely sculptures ends with a coffee and designer cocktail glasses at the gift shop. The museum is small but has engaging revolving exhibits. My children were excited to play in the art lab. This museum is perfect for a sunny day.
A fine collection of interesting sculptures and installations located on the beautiful grounds of the former deCordova home, now a museum with additional works. Staff tours provide further insight.
Nice walking around and exhibits some of which will surprise you
Nice space with a large and nice variety of works. Nice grounds for picnicking as well surrounded by outdoor installations
Cool art and a great place to let kids run around but personally not worth the price of admission.
This place is amazing! I love to just chill here, looking at all the awesome art. It's also a hotbed of Pokemon Go/Ingress sites, if that's something you're into.
The deCordova is a wonderful little museum with a fascinating collection of sculptures displayed in a lovely outdoor setting. Allow two or three hours to take it all in. The cafe is small and expensive, so getting food elsewhere is recommended.
Beautiful inside and out. Want to visit again!
Great fun especially in nice weather. The outdoor sculptures are unique and often very large, complementing the rolling expanse of museum grounds. Modest cafe but tons of items at the gift shop. The indoor museum varies depending on the current exhibition. Not always as much of a draw as the grounds. Kids really enjoy the outdoor installations.
We didn't have time for a thorough look at the museum, but the sculpture park was quite enjoyable...each piece is uniquely creative.
Awesome reception for Patty's barkus
Heaven on Earth! Thank you for a beautiful, thought-provoking experience!
Exceptional pieces of sculpture spread around lovely grounds. Very enjoyable.
Nice relaxing place to wander around and look at the sculptures in the yard. The museum inside was featuring many local New England artists too. Best part is - your Trustees membership gets you in for free.
The park is very beautiful. It's a great place for kids and adults alike. It's also good for fitness as well. While it can be hot there, the cooling effect of the mountain air is always great. The art is very pretty and there's free parking. This place is good for people of all ages.
This is a hidden gem. Very nice art museum. The outside grounds are simply beautiful. Walking paths with sculptures scattered around the trails. Plan on at least three hours being there.
That was pretty good. Cool art.
Super fun. Excellent stop over. Totally worth admission. Phone commentary by artists available. (Some commentary has multiple audio tracks)
Really cool place to kill a couple hours. They have a lot of varying types of sculptures outside and a wide range of artwork inside the museum. The pricing too isnt bad. Kids under 12 are free while adult prices range from 10-14$. Overall I would recommend checking it out.
Free if you bike there. The cafe has a selection of local healthy food and coffee. Wonderful place for a picnic and to discover artist.
This is one of the most exciting places you'll ever want to go. It gives new meaning to another man's junk is another mans...ART! My favorite must be the two huge hearts. At first I had the ewww look until I got close enough to appreciate all it says. To me anyway. Once I spotted that espresso maker I was all set. This sculpter really speaks a thousand words if you consider all we put our hearts through in a lifetime, it's all here. Go on a nice day if possible so you can fully appreciate all the tremendous talent that is spread out over 'miles' [it seems], There's something for everyone so bring the kids and ask for their input.
Really cool place. I got discount passes from the library so it only cost me $5, it’s a cool place to go with kids because most of the things are outdoors, it’s also a nice place to go on a date.
If you have family visiting and it is nice out, skip the boston tour and come here to be insipired by great art.
The sculpture and landscape are beautifully integrated. The museum has exhibits of contemporary art including special installations.
This was a pleasant surprise. The exterior sculptures were pleasent and uplifting. It was a wonderful and uplifting walk in the park. Our three dogs had fun trying to keep up with the Chipmunks. They even liked the ceramic sculptures
Very small boutique art museum. Beautiful sculpture garden. Changing inside exhibitions.
Really cool crazy castle turned into art museum & sculpture garden, very nice.
This stunning sculpture park and museum is a magical place to visit during the summer and fall. Some amazing views of the lakeside and forests from the museum terrace. New sculptures are constantly being added. Multiple art pieces are on display by contemporary and regional artists. A great place for art lovers and families to spend the afternoon!
Interesting. But better with a guide.
Fun place with lots of interesting abstract sculpture. Nice little cafe. The gift shop looked inviting, but didn't have time to visit.
DeCoradova museum nice place to see abstract art or even have a picnic
Wonderfull gardens
Extremely fun sculpture park. Nice place to unwind and spend an hour.
Really cool place!
This place is great for spending time outside with great art work. You can bring a picnic or pick one up from the new and improved Cafe. They have a great selection of food including vegetarian options. They serve alcohol as well as interesting selection of sodas. The museum itself is just the right size and the views from the roof are amazing.
Lovely museum. Great gift shop.
A really great place to run around and explore with my five year old. The grounds are fantastic to explore, and we love the cafe.
Enjoyable art museum, sculpture garden, cafe and cute gift shop near Walden pond. Perfect for nice day as most of it is outdoors. Slighty more expensive than I'd like, but they do have a student discount.
Such a wonderful place, both inside and outside
Whether you are partial to modern art or not the DeCordova is a great place to visit. The "Sculpture Park" alone is worthy of a trip, as sculptures are effectively placed to blend with the well maintained landscape and gardens. My kids loved going to the museum to run around, picnic and play hide and seek in and around the amazing trees. There are also hiking trails - minimal in length but a nice addition to a typical museum. The indoor art exhibits are small compared to more urban museums but I feel like this is a plus as it is a more intimate and comfortable to walk around. The gift shop has a fantastic selection of fun, artsy and quirky items. All in all I think the DeCordova makes for a terrific trip for families, friends or even dates.
Beautiful setting, really shows off the many pieces available for viewing. Open space and delightful to strollers.
Loved this place, spent the day wandering. Had 2 children under 12 and they both enjoyed it too.
Impressive experience and new feeling about contemporary art. It is good to encourage local young artists to create
An incredible collection, a delightful amble, very current
DeCordova museum is filled with abstract art and is a beautiful place for a day trip or small picnic
Awesome place to visit when the weather is nice. Interesting artwork, nice people, and a great place to signs the day. Pro-tip, bike in and your admission is free!
Always a nice walk through the grounds at deCordova. The number of sculptures is impressive and a delight to see in the light offered from Autumn through Winter. This is a family favorite when we are visiting.
Small and boring, weird meaningless sculptures, museum itself is even weirder
I very much enjoyed perusing the grounds and enjoying the outside scenery. Make sure to lay down on the rounded blue cushion display outside. Great place for a leisurely, sunny Sunday with a significant other, friend, or significant dog friend. Not to get all art school but, I didn't enjoy or connect with most of the pieces inside the actual museum. It seems they cycle frequently so maybe it was timing. Either way, I look forward to returning.
Nice area. Kind of amazing what folks call art, but worth the trip. A definite must see.
As a professional photographer, I have photographed family portrait sessions on the grounds and events in the function room. The sculptures are beautiful and the grounds are well maintained. The function room is decorated with art that changes every few months, creating a true art gallery experience for your event. The staff is excellent and the food is delicious.
Wonderful place to take family or go for a romantic date!!
There is not an inch of this place I don’t love. It is complete outside so plan ahead for weather.
Lovely, albeit small, collection of modern art and really neat outdoor sculptures. Be sure to go to the rooftop to see the views. Interesting for kids as well.
The well manicured grounds
This sculpture park is not very large but offers a few interesting sculptures. There's a museum, which is closed on weekends unfortunately, and a gift shop. It's just by the side of a large pond and about 2 miles from the famous Walden Pond.
Never went in but the grounds have great sculptures and displays
Be ready to spend 2-3 hours. Great experience!
What a unique and special place to visit! I had no idea that this gem was right down the road from me my whole life! I am looking forward to making this a regular spot to visit as the sculptures change year-on-year I am told.
Grandkids really enjoyed.
Beautiful place to hang out and relax in the summer. The ideal park for a date
A beautiful and perfect place to spend a few hours at. Nice comfortable size with some walking paths and interesting sculptures.
We were there on a calm, overcast day. Not a lot of people there. Great for walking around. Interesting outdoor exhibits; many hands-on. Easy parking. Snack bar with pre-packaged sandwiches, which were very good when toasted.
Hidden gem. I like this place so much I got a membership. The art gallery and sculpture garden are each great and worth spending time exploring separately. This is also a really beautiful place to read or have a picnic. The cafe has great coffee, wifi, and good food selections. The staff is also great. I'm here a lot.
A very nice park that combines nature and art. Walking trails lead to sculptures that are spread over all parts of the park and very beautiful views of the nearby pond. Scenic settings for good photos
An amazing contemporary art museum and exhibit park. Well set up and beautiful place. A real gem for art lovers and people looking to experience different views of art. There is something for all people to relate to there. Truly a place worth visiting over and over.
I've always liked coming here as a kid and now that I have my own son it's fun to spread the experience. Good place to have a picnic or just walk around and enjoy some sights. Plenty of parking but there is an entry fee I believe.
This was a unique, interesting and beautiful!
Pretty place to picnic
Lovely destination.
Super cool place to spend the day.
A nice place but kids got restless.
Very nice for a family afternoon. The inside is small but the grounds provide a great walk.
Great place for a company outing if you are looking to inspire some creativity.
Nice place to walk around and enjoy each of the installations. This is going to be beautiful in the fall when the leaves change.
Love this place! Summer and fall are the best!
This small museum is just the right size for someone with limited energy or attention span. During our visit, it was too hot to wander the grounds, but we could see many sculptures from our car and from the rooftop patio. My only complaint is that there is one section that is not accessible by wheelchair - the two steps are as wide as the room and could easily accommodate a small ramp.
I only have good things to say about this place. It is well worth the visit. I recommend the sculpture park to everyone who can make it. Really beautiful place.
Better than we expected
This has an extensive outdoor sculpture collection. So even if Museum is closed you can still wonder around the grounds and check out a lot of great art. Also they actually switch over several sculptures on a regular basis so there is often something new. The Jim Dine is one of my faves !
Delicate and fun place for a 2-to-3-hour visit. Sculptures are interesting and could contribute to amazing and fun pictures. Only be sure to avoid hot weather. The museum displays many contemporary art works. Don't forget the view on the top patio.
Yayoi Kusama exhibit was really interesting. Lunch in the new Cafe was nice. Love the gift shop.
This place was exceptional. I went for the day with my parents and roamed the campus exploring the sculptures. They had an infinite stars room created by a famous Japanese artist. It is worth the drive out to see them.
Wether it's winter or summer, always a good place to explore art. But specially when the weather is nice the park is great. There is a good cafe and shop aswell as places for kids.
My family and I took a quick trip to this wonderful place. A very simple and easy ride to a place where all ages are welcome. Beautiful and simple designs to keep all interested.
You can spend a day here, bring a picnic to have by the sculptures outside.
Great museum to visit with kids
Omg the best local place for some art. Great if you have little ones and want to start introducing them to fine art. It's outdoors so they can run off their energy between sculptures. I cannot recommend DeCordova enough.
The sculpture park is great for a picnic. A pleasant and easy walk to see all the interesting sculptures. The museum itself has changing exhibits which are sometimes interesting, sometime not. But still a great place to relax for a couple of hours.
The art here never fails to amaze.
Such a peaceful place
Beautiful and odd works
Wonderful monumental sculptures on the lawns and along the pathways. A nice little cafe for taking a break from walking the grounds.
Great for all ages. Plenty of art to see, and beautiful outdoor setting. All staff members we met were fantastic. I would come here more often if I lived in the area.
Great outdoor sculpture park with an indoor rotating exhibit. Being that it is outside, you will want to check the weather report while planning your visit. There any are many perks/discounts on admission, just check their website!
Love it. Really very intellectual and beautiful.
Beautiful space. Unlike any other local museum. Was here with a school group and then children were absorbed by the exhibits and really relished the outdoor space. Looking forward to coming back for more exploration!
Fantastic place for a picnic lunch on a summer day. The museum itself is quite impressive as well - make sure to check out the view from the roof!
Can be a fun few hours. Contemporary art changing ever few months (check website). Limited exhibits indoors & over all of grounds. Nifty shop & Cafe. $$$
Really beautiful sculpture garden and museum. This is a really lovely place to spend a nice day outside.
Great fun to walk the grounds and look at stuff that may or may not survive into the next century.
Interesting sculptures among beautiful trees. New Horizon was amazing and beautiful!
The sculptures and the landscapes are terrific
Beautiful place to visit on a beautiful day. Modern art in bucolic setting and a wonderful sculpture garden near Walden Pond. Easy to park and usually quiet. Besides the art, make sure to visit the terrace on the rooftop to have amazing views. On the way back stop at a farm to pick or buy some apples or plums.
Very beatuiful place and outside art there.
Very pleasant way to spend a day. Bring the kids, grandparents, dogs, a picnic lunch. There is a cafe and gift shop as well as acres of out doors sculpture trails. Trustees of Reservation members, the museum is a new partner.
Don't be fooled this is a great place.
Modern sculptures in metal & stone. Nice park to walk and view the works.
The contemporary art is generally underwelming, but maybe that's just me. I like to have something to look at. I miss whatever came before contemporary. The sculpture park is great though.
On a 40 degree day in January we were still able to appreciate the expansive grounds deCordova sits on. The indoor exhibits were interesting, though I felt myself wishing the decor called back the time period of the deCordova castle similar to the way things are handled for the interior of the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum. We kept seeing pictures of how parts used to look, but then a garden patio would be bare or a room would be white-walled to look like an exhibit hall, not a room in a castle. It was a little muddy in places due to recent weather but the views ranged from pretty to breathtaking as we moved from one outdoor installation to the next.
Gorgeous gardens with all the artworks. Museum, cafe, substantial gift store. Friendly staff.
This is a must see! If you are visiting Lexington and Concord, please make the stop at deCordova! I only posted a small sample of the sculptures. The main attractions are world class!
A gem. Lovely sculptures (some that are interactive) spread around gorgeous grounds. Be prepared to walk a bit and not all on a paved path if you want to see everything (there is paved path, but you'll miss a good deal staying on it). A fantastic place to wander for a few hours. The plaques don't offer a ton of information about the sculptures, but if you'd like more information there is an audio tour or you can use the QR codes on each plaque to look up information. Personally I prefer taking in each sculpture and interpreting it myself. The inside of the museum offers a handful of rotating exhibits and a nice view from the rooftop. The cafe is typical museum fare (coffees, prepackaged sandwiches/salads, etc.). The store has a nice selection of unique and fun items, definitely stop by before you leave. Oh and if you play pokemon go, this place has copious pokestops and gyms, a real gold mine.
This place is amazing, I love the interactions that the sculptures have with nature. Gorgeous views from the top and equally beautiful getting lost on the park grounds with the sculptures. Great to in the spring before it gets to hot to enjoy everything the outside has to offer. The museum inside is also kid friendly.
Great museum better to visit in warmer weather
Amazing place to spend an afternoon!
A superb experience - always. Roaming the grounds is a delight. The indoor exhibits are fascinating and inspiring. We visit regularly; our grade-schoolers love it, too!
Beautiful! Great area
Was a very nice Park, though the paths are not well marked in some places -- you end up at dead ends. Several of the sculptures are quite fascinating. Apparently, done of the local townships offer substantial discounts on admission, which is worth checking if you'll be bringing a carful....
Beautiful grounds will definitely visit again
Fun walk in beautiful fall landscape. Personally found the outdoor sculptures more intriguing than the rotating exhibition in the museum.
Excellent place to bring your toddler, especially during a toddler friendly event. Little ones love exploring the grounds! Picnicking is allowed and strollers welcome. The gift shop was top notch.
I recommend this to anyone who is visiting the Boston area. There is a modest fee to enter. It is a lovely park to walk or jog in and pets are allowed in the park (but not in the museum). Very modern outdoor sculptures are through out the park to enjoy. The museum also has modern exhibits and sometimes has activities. The only downside I think is the cafe which has a very limited selection of prepackaged items.
Great place to come for a picnic on a sunny day. I have only been inside once, but it has a nice cafe. Best part however is strolling the grounds and enjoying the outdoor sculpture. Best kept secret: if you ride a bike in, you get in free!
Such a great museum! So many sculptures outside and a wonderful inner space with beautiful works AND a kids interactive space, the Lab, which is so much fun.
Lovely grounds... beautiful place to stroll about. Was not overly impressed with the Museum.
Well curated sculpture garden. Nice grounds.
This is a terrific place -- sprawling, great place to get outdoors to think, appreciate, roam, picnic, and let the kids loose on sculptures they can touch, climb on, and otherwise interact with. Plus, a very good little museum -- good for escaping inside when weather's bad, or for enjoying in its own right for the fresh, revolving exhibits.
Very impressed!!!! A wide range of styles and periods---much better than a garden like Stormking
Toured with a group of friends. Great galleries, friendly staff.
This place is so amazing! So so so many cool sculptures and pieces of art, this place is worth the trip.
Excellent place for a lazy stroll & photo ops. Lots of interesting sculptures in the park. Great for adults & kids. Definitely recommended.
Went on a day when the weather was not so great and was not able to walk the extensive ground. Muesum ok, but not my cup of tea of contemporary art. Loved that they had hands on activities for children and classes available. Would try again to see outside exhibits. Price for admission a bit high.
Fun place to visit with adults or kids!
Offers art for the curious indoors and outdoors - largely outdoors though. At times you get to meet the artists themselves. Art is always growing so everytime you go, you will definitely see something new. I think it should be cheaper for the locals. I'dwant to see more interactive art.
