Johnny Gatt

More than just a Museum of Babe Ruth and Baseball but also American history. !!!

Joe Harris

What a waste of money!

Diane R

It was very small but a lot to look at.

Amber Kirkland

On a baseball trip to an Orioles and Yankees game with a Yankee fan means this sightseeing detour was a must! Die hard fans will love every piece of memorabilia and information. There are recordings and a quick film in one room. You see actual items owned by Babe and his family in their actual house. Even casual fans will enjoy themselves and learn something. We walked so no parking info. The whole visit, plus gift shop, was about an hour. We self toured. The price is very reasonable.

Michael Ross

Interesting place to visit and a short walk from the Inner Harbor and ballpark. Worth a visit if you are nearby.

Hsuan-lei Sung

Pretty tiny museum but not too bad for the price. Somehow the staff wasn't too friendly to me but I guess it's more of a Baltimore thing.

Pierre T

Plenty of photos and memorabilia.

Lonnel Arrington

Lived in MD all my life and never visited. Great place. Inexpensive admission fee.

Michael Mayo

Great experience! I learned how the national anthem became the song we play and stand before every game! When we walked in a gentleman walked up and gave us a brief description of the birth and life of Babe Ruth which was full of great information.

tim callejas

Loved it!

Henry Van Der Laar

It's a nice little museum for a baseball fan. Not a big place though

Very nice and informative museum. It's within walking distance of the ball park which makes it very convenient. On game days they stay open late.

Terry Hickman

Interesting but difficult to locate without help.

Lots of interesting displays including fixed, video and audio media. Allow at least 90 minutes to take everything in.

Anneca Sarver

A must see for baseball fans

Tristan Sweatt

Very detailed museum with tons of relevant context for Babe Ruth & baseball fans alike. Call to see if they are open, as google is typically wrong about these things.

Pruett Black

This is a must stop for any baseball fan. This museum is more than a tribute to Babe Ruth, it is a tribute to a wonderful era of baseball that must not be forgotten.

Raymond Ellis

I enjoyed the museum and all the exhibits. I especially liked the Star Spangled banner film and the tie-in to the Babe

Michelle L. Sams

A little disappointing. It is very small and has a lot of signed baseballs. A uniform or 2 but don't plan to stay more than 45 minutes.

Jesus Rangel

Nice place to visit if you likes baseball and you are in town!!

Wilsons-2

This is a very nice little museum. And it is a 'little' Baltimore townhouse that has been revived and turned into a museum to commemorate the birthplace of Babe Ruth. It's privately-run, so there is a $10 entrance fee but I think anyone interested in baseball will certainly consider that a small price to pay to see a genuine bit of history. I guess more than a dozen people would be a crowd for this little museum. Fortunately it's located on a quiet side street just west of Camden Yards by a few steps, so it's an easy walk to or from an Orioles game. Plan on a half an hour to 45 minutes to explore the little house and the museum displays inside. And to extend the history a little bit, there is some archaeology you can find on the web to indicate that the location of Babe Ruth's father's saloon now lies somewhere below centerfield in Oriole Park.

Tracie Clayton

Learning about baseball history

Dawn Narry

Clean and neat, but did not meet my personal expectations. Still very educational.

Kathy Gibson

Great place to go for baseball fans and history buffs! We had a guided tour which was very informative. Lots of interesting history! It is a small museum though, so I would recommend not going during a peak time.

Jim Santomassimo

Relive the life of Babe Ruth. Walk through the house where he was born. Lots of memorabilia

David Pessing

Awesome! They have some neat old memorabilia and lots of good info. $15 a ticket though.

David Walker

Another “I’m not a die-hard baseball fan” but this little birthplace/museum is a true hidden gem in Baltimore. I happen to hit it during Dollar Days weekend in December where a lot of the key attractions in Baltimore were only 1$, but I’d gladly had paid the normal cost of admission. Lots to see, and a lot of history here, so take your time and browse through it all. The short 7-minute film “The Star Spangled Banner in Sports” was very interesting and well worth watching. And the gift shop is loaded with great souvenirs. This is well worth the visit!!!

Megan Bielsky

Small but nice! Not much left of the original home/birthplace but lots of memrobilia and facts. Spent about 45 minutes to an hour there. Depends how quickly you read. Visited with a Yankees fan and was our first time there so worth the trip. Had a Groupon so admission was less expensive.

Randall Lyles

Very detail thorough museum Berry customer friendly tour guide are you experienced lot of pictures and memorabilia and stuff like that very well worth the $10 addmission

Brad Jeffers

It wasn't bad, but was hoping and expecting more things to see and do. Worth checking out if in the area, but wouldn't suggest going out of your way to see.

Heather Fisher

Small museum but cool memorabilia. Not far from the park (they're open later on home game days) so it's worth the short walk. Also not very expensive plus we got a Groupon so we paid even less. Definitely plan on stopping in!

Steven Scalici

Any true Yankee fan needs to walk over when at an Orioles game...by the way, Ruth started his life in Baltimore in a reformatory.

Chris Finch

Reasonable prices with discounts for seniors and AAA. Very informative history about Babe Ruth's birth place.

Might be ok for real Baseball Fans. I thought it was pricy.

Geoffrey Hart

Small place that is a must visit for any baseball fan.

Justin Justice

A must for baseball fans. Women will hate it.

Marjie Akins

It was a pricey self guided tour. I left not really learning anything about Babe Ruth at all.I would have rather spent my time seeing the star spangled banner museum ...oh well-there's always next time.

arbyz2go

Nick Dize

A must see in Baltimore

Chrissy Lanza

Very neat!

Jason Mills

Really enjoyed this little museum. Located a short walk from Camden Yards, it is a perfect place to hit up before an Orioles game (they have extended hours on Orioles game nights). Good overview of the life of Babe Ruth, a collection of items from his career, and a restored room where he was born.

Michelle Gray

Great history of Babe Ruth!

Rob Morrow

A great little adventure

Cindy Perry

Must see! Not unbelievable but yes I recommend it

Nice little museum. Anyone who is a fan of baseball in general or Babe Ruth in particular would enjoy it. As others have said, its small so you can see everything in an hour or less.

Matt Heck

If you're a baseball fan, this is worth the walkthrough about one of the most legendary athletes of all time. $10 for adults and well worth it. Definitely recommend if you're on the area.

Bruce Adkins

Absolutely a must visit!

William Aghassi

Took about an hour to see everything

Jose Razo

Nice area well preserve. I Had a great experience going to the museum and keeping up with not only american culture but keeping up with american history. I good place to visit if you are in the neighborhood.

steven brown

It was a good way to spend an hour, I wish the museum was more geared towards Ruth's childhood and upbringing, and less about his accomplishments as a professional baseball player.

James Stevens

The exhibits are very well put together and the atmosphere is amazing even if your a novice baseball fan you will leave this place well informed about the legend of Babe Ruth from his humble beginnings to his meteoric rise to fame

Karen Englar

We really enjoyed it. Lot of information. Originally from Boston....he gave us fits for years!!! Happy to break the curse!! The movie very good.

Dan S

Nice museum a short and easy walk from Camden Yards. Good history of Babe Ruth’s childhood and early days in Baltimore with autographed balls and historical items. The house has been restored well. Doesn’t take too long to go through, might be too short for the price, but good discounts for kids, seniors, military and still a great tour for the diehard baseball/Babe Ruth history fan.

Jeff McLain

This was an excellent historical and learning experience for our family. We have driven to experience this museum several times from Lancaster, PA. Though this is a smaller museum, they have a decent amount of baseball and Babe Ruth memorabilia and exhibits. The exhibits are well designed, full of information, and many displays feature multimedia are interactive aspects.

Ben Wheeler

Skeptical to the value of $10.

Don Collins

Great side trip before the game. Took about an hour and a half to see everything, well worth the short walk from the ballpark for any true baseball fan.

Jason Klingler

Great museum in the heart of Baltimore. Lots of memorabilia and photos. $10 gets you in and you can take as many photos as you wish.

Daniel Boughton

Lots of History

Connor Pierce

Really small, really awesome museum. I never learned so much about The Great Bambino before going there...and im not even that big of a baseball nerd but i LOVE history

Witte x7

Lots of good facts and good presentation. Pretty good representation of a great man's life.

Marvin Fell

A small museum dedicated to babe Ruth not that much to aee

Jean Caron

Very small place, does not provide anything we Don't already know or have already seen from the sultan of swat. Disapointed. Maybe my expectations were too high. Parking is very difficult to find in adjacent streets.

Eric Joseph

Very cool little museum. Short walk from downtown, inner harbor.

Brenda Frost

$10 to visit so we chose to look at the small gift shop instead

JC P

Amazing! Our 5 year old son loves Babe Ruth he had a great time and the staff was extremely nice and respectful.

Ric Rini

If you are a baseball fan this is a definite stop otherwise it has some historic significance. The place can be walked through in 15 minutes. So for me, it was okay.

Trevor Hasenkamp

Soo cool!

Jeffrey Johnson

Babe Ruth and Tony Gwinn. My two all time favorite baseball players ( Hall of Famers). It's pretty sad that people don't know the salten of swatt aka Babe Ruth.

Connie Green

Of course being the birthplace of The Babe, I wasn’t expecting this place to be huge. They did a fantastic job of fitting as much history as they could into the small brick building on two floors, including a reproduction of the room Babe Ruth was born in.There were some fantastic artifacts here from The Babe’s career, including an expansive collection of bats and autographed baseballs. Also a couple of items from after the babe, like the 1983 World Series Trophy on loan from the Orioles. Also The Babe’s posthumously awarded Presidential Medal of Freedom.

George A-R

Well priced, but best to go when there is no Yankee-Baltimore ball gm. Place is small.

Ted Hidell

Kent Gray

Christopher Burton

I'm not really a fan of professional baseball, but this diminutive little house turned into a museum, is very well done. You may gain some insight into the man and better appreciate what he accomplished in his fairly short life.

Robert Phillips

Interesting museum full of Babe Ruth and baseball artifacts! Great knowledgeable staff that are passionate about what they do! A must see stop on a Oriels Gameday. Pick up a Baby Ruth bar while you're there!

Jason Neel

heather thomas

Great little piece of history!!!

Don Murdoch

Very small but very interesting for baseball enthusists

Kelli Bollinger

Cool little museum!!

Robyn Wright

Very small, not a lot of Babe memorabilia.

Tamra Duran

Just watched one of the employees walk out at 4:53. I'm very upset that we were rushed out before the closing time. While the bits we saw for the 5 minutes we were there were nice, make sure you know the hours. They are only open late on EVENING home games, not afternoon games too. That's not what we were told and while I should have double checked, the employees seemed annoyed when we showed up. We traveled from Texas to see this and I'm very disappointed in our experience.

Random Traveler

Where one of baseball's and Baltimore's greatest was from

Jacob Mccloud

Place has some intresting artifacts but mostly random items scattered through out the house with no clear direction to go or see.

Lots of history and great baseball stories from some of the greatest in the game.

jamie bennett

Nice to visit the house. Lots of repetitive signage. Wedding dress on display does not match photo. Makes I e wonder about authenticity. Worth stopping in.

I expected more but it was good

Cool place. A lot of history there. Okay if you’re in the area but don’t go out of your way. $10 admission was a bit steep but it was cool to experience it at least once.

Tristen Kiesow

Don't go to steep for price of 10$. But pretty cool.

Tamrat Kassa Jr.

Interesting exhibits. Very cozy place.

Deelite Ful

Babe Ruth's childhood home turned into a Museum. It is really cool that the ball park was built very close to his home. It is a must see for a baseball fan.

Lauren Maffett

It's small but has a lot of information about Babe Ruth. It adds a lot of meaning to the statue in front of the ballpark.

terry schauer

Thank goodness I paid for the combo with the other sports museum. We were in and out of this place in 20 minutes and 10 mins of that were spent in the gift shop and watching a movie about the Star Spangled Banner(yes in the Babe Ruth Museum) still confused about that one!! Didnt see a thing in here that I either didnt already know or needed to know.

Casey Davis

This is a neat place to visit. If you want to see a piece of baseball history, stop in and check this out. The baseball bats and and signed babe ruth baseballs were worth the trip for me. Dont expect a long visit, the museum isnt that big. I spent about 45 mins here.

Tyler Tubbs

if you love baseball you must visit here before you die!

Joel Tootill

Excellent visit to the museum!! The staff was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating.

Jon Fogg

This is a hidden gem near Camden Yards, a must-see for any baseball fan. I thought I knew a lot about The Babe, but I learned a few things during this visit (no spoilers here!). A few components of the visit seem dated and could use some freshening, but it's clear the museum is working on a small budget.

Keven Jeffery

It seemed a little overpriced at $10.

Scott Bennighof

Any baseball fan will enjoy the history of a great player!

Bruce Campbell

Nice place. Friendly staff. Fun exhibits. $10 admission seems a little steep. But great stop for any baseball fan.

kyle jones

A great place to visit if you like baseball or history. There is a ton of information and things to look at. I did report on babe Ruth when I was a kid and I still learned a ton of new information. It can get a little crowded FYI. The gift shop is a little lacking.

Alecia Berman-Dry

If you are interested in the sultan of swat, this is a must. If you are not that interested in baseball history, this is maybe not for you. Two levels of artifacts and stories including some cool audio of the babe himself.
