This is the best small-town history museum I've ever seen. Absolutely wonderful source for getting the feel of the history and the lives of the folks who lived here over the past 140 years. A beautiful display of veteran's and memorial military items, very thoughtfully laid out, as well as period clothing, furnishings, tools, fun stuff, all enthusiastically explained to us by Linda, right down to her Mom's butter churn (thanks Linda!). Considering this is an entirely volunteer effort, it is outstanding.

I spent a day in the Museum/Historical society doing some genealogy research. Rosemary was very helpful as were the other great people I met from Stockholm. It is a great little community where everyone knows everyone, I was able to get first hand "memories" from the women I met and in genealogy this is better then gold...5 stars for Stockholm Historical Society

Lots and lots of family and town history to look at

Totally worth the time to check this place out. Saw it with my wife and father-in-law to be and really enjoyed it. My father-in-law was born just down the road and the stories he told were great. This is a must see if you are from the area or Swedish.
