Fireworks at Poland Spring Grounds. It was amazing and we'll planned for families. Just remember to bring the bug spray.

Very relaxing, friendly and helpful staff, lots to do. Or do nothing but sit in an Adirondack chair and read a book on the sprawling porch , your choice! Family friendly but surprised there weren't a lot of kids. Most folks we spoke to have been coming here for years.

Visited the spring and the state main house. Enjoyed the small museum at the bottling plant near the spring. Visiting the Maine state house was very intresting. There are 3 floors, the first two are museum about the resort and Maine State house. The third floor is and art gallery. Also, there is a chapel near the State house which is very lovely and worth checking out.
