An accidental find walking along the perimeter of the island. A great little museum filled with lots of interesting facts. A must see if you are visiting Peaks Island.

Very small and easy to get through with some great Civil War artifacts. Take note of when your going as it may be closed to visitors.

A great little spot to learn some history. Staff is friendly and informative. There is alot to look at and it has a good view from the deck. I was able to purchase a bottle of water as well. Bathrooms available. It was a great place to stop for a break after walking the island, learn, and rest.

Excellent exhibits, lots of Civil War era relics, engaging displays, and friendly, knowledgeable docents. The grounds are stunning too! Make sure to go out back and climb the rocks in the shore
