This Museum is classified in the category of Art museum.
Had a really great time here learning about the history of Mardi Gras and seeing how the boats/props are created. It was also really cool to see artists actively working on projects while we were on the tour. Our tour guide Bria was great and very informative.
Great place to visit. Interesting to watch artists work and to see how it is all done. I don't think my husband wanted to go, but after getting there we enjoyed it! The information given, questions answered were informative. A good little stop, tour, away from the streets of NOLA, as it is in the warehouse district. We took a bus, but got off too far away, so be sure you know the best stop to get closest; seeing how you are continuing to walk around inside. They provided a small lecture with a little surprise at it the day we were there!
It was an awesome to. Everybody so nice entire building so clean. A lot of facts given that I had no idea about. Would recommended to everyone
Never been to Mardi Gras but can see how neat it would be!
Nice place. The guide was really good and the tour was Ok. I was expecting to see more hands on work but that's because I love crafting and handy work. I leave 4 stars because we had to walk on our way back since we waited the shuttle for 30 min and the receptionist told us she did not know when the shuttle will be picking us. She had a bad attitude. Everything else was great.
Went to arrange a business function for next year. The employees were very friendly and accommodating.
Cool to know how they make everything and got some badass history at the same time.
I really had a great time. The floats and structures were amazing.
This was a much larger tour then I expected. It was an amazing experience and definitely suggest to stop by here for a tour!
Awesome experience. Very family friendly. Beautiful work by everyone in the facility.
Very interesting tour learning about the attraction for the parade.
It was great to see how all the floats are made.
After a long day dealing with my neurotic father, I needed a drink. And Mardi Gras World provided that. It's a warehouse expo bar. Not your regular "let's get drunk experience" I only wish I knew I could take my drink outside. In New Orleans, there is no law against public drinking.
Super interesting! The tour is pleasant and I really enjoyed being able to visit the warehouse of floats at my own pace.
This place ! Amazing to see what goes into the process of creating the beautiful creatures and details that adorn the floats at mardi gras. Wonderful history you wouldn't know until you visit...just try and go when it isn't a heat wave! We almost passed out as there isn't air conditioning in the main wharehouse but they provide water and the tour guide is excellent.
Super fun place to visit & see how Mardi Gras is made. The floats were almost completed which was cool to see. Usually we visit in tbe summer when they aren't so far along. You can watch the artists in action & I always learn a little more about Mardi Gras & the traditions.
Went to a work event. Place we amazing. Fun to walk around seeing all the floats.
Meg was AWESOME!! Such a great tour and worth more than we paid. Customer service at front desk was cold and kind of rude, but I'm still giving 5 stars bc our tour guide was great and the warehouse is the BOMB!
This place was very interesting. Learned how floats were made, costs involved and how much I could pay to get on the floats myself for a parade.
Great source of Mardi Gras history... check them out, if you are nearby. It was worth the time and cost.
Our tour guy (I think his name was Andre) was one of the best tour guides we've ever had. If you can't actually go to Mardi Gras this is a great option to see some floats and props in person. Amazing to see the creativity and talent that go into these parades
Amazing to see the inside of how things work. We were at a banquet and the food was amazing. A definite must see and a definite, will go back.
First: ask about their shuttle! We walked from Canal St when it turned out we could have been in an air conditioned van (we rode back). Also, the gift shop is huge, so if you're looking for souvenirs anyway this is a good place for it. Tour started out with a 15-minute video about Mardi Gras, and a small serving of king cake. Then our guide took us into the warehouse workshop where floats are built, rebuilt, and stored. This was an incredible collection of figures, faces, colors, and creatures, and it was a lot of fun to be up close with them. We got insight into the materials and process by watching actual artists shaping and painting. Our guide (didn't catch his name, he's short with red hair) was enthusiastic, knowledgable, and FABulous! He made the whole place even more fun!
This was literally one of the best highlights of our trip but I think a lot of people don't event know it exists. In the industrial warehouse district but you can catch a ride on their free shuttle from a lot of central spots. The driver - Tim, I think- was super funny and very courteous. Anyway, not quite a museum because the floats and props are remodeled - more like a giant art studio with floats in process. Super fascinating and amazing photo opportunities. The tour guide & intro movie gave us great insight into the history of the Mardi Gras celebrations and its importances to NOLA.
Loved the tour and the info! It was amazing to see some float examples and hear the process.
Great tour. It's fun to learn what all goes into Mardi Gras.
Colorful and different place to visit and learn about traditions in New Orleans.
Tour was okay - would've rather preferred to just walk around by ourselves, but being able to see all the floats from years past and the new floats being built was cool.
10/10 great place to learn about what really goes down on marti grass
Nice tour, i thought we would get to see more, but half the place was blocked off. Still interesting, took about an hour for the tour and look at all the floats.
This place was so cool! It had great entertainment and the sculptures were very detailed.
Really fun to learn the history and see all the floats. Our tour guide was great!!
Great place to see the history of Mardi Gras and view artifacts from costumes all the way up to full size floats as well as other decorations from Disney to Chick-fil-A excetera.
This place is more for tourists than locals. The video they show and when they talk about Mardi Gras in the wharehouse, locals already know that part. Also I think they cut the whsrehouse talk in half. Our kids were bored halfway through. The nice things are that you can see through the windows of the building where the employees are actually cutting the styrofoam into designs. It's cool that they let you take pictures after the tour is over. You can take all the time you wsnt and when you leave you get mardi gras beads and a piece of king cake!
I loved touring Mardi Gras World! The price was a bit steep, but I would still recommend it. It’s a working warehouse and it’s really cool to see the artists working on props. They encourage pictures and are willing to answer all your questions. It was also nice to get a run-down on Mardi Gras since I basically knew nothing. Really friendly staff and fun experience!
Super cool place! We are very glad to have been able to make it there on our trip, really gave us the NOLA experience.
Very informative and enjoyable mostly cool tour.
It was so fun to see all the floats and learn about how they were made. Great tour guide. We even got a piece of King Cake - and I found the baby!
Tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging. He cracked a few jokes and was able to answer questions. It's both interesting for the history and the craftsmanship involved.
So much fun. The artists are amazing and answered our questions. Got see old and new creations. Would recommend to anyone to make a stop
Was nice to see all the floats up close spend some time there with whole family they will love it
Nice visit when in NOLA. Great photo opportunities.
Great place to see. Great tours and guides. Lots to see and learn.
Learn about the art of mardi gras floats. Get up close and personal.
Great place to get the fun of Mardi gras without the booze. Great tour for families. Tour guides love what they do and it shows.
Mardi Gras World occupies a lovely perspective on the Mississippi River, and can be made much more affordable if you cycle to the world. Sure, you can take a tour but you can explore the gift shop and a small exhibit for free, too. Maybe you have some talent? Well, that's the best way to go through the door, to work in the imaginary world of the Mardi Gras before the floats disgorge from this fantasy warehouse.
So fun! Quick tour but I left knowing all the ends and outs of Mardi gras and the art work is amazing!
Highly recommend this place! Very interesting and informative if you're into the props and floats that are used sitting Mardi Gras
Great place to get a feel of Mardi gras even when it's not going on!
This was so cool and so worth it to go and see. you actually got to view the working space and how everything is made for the floats. And at the end they just let you look around on your own and take pictures. Our tour guide was awesome full of energy. I definitely recommend it to anyone in the area
Went with my family while visiting them. The guide wasn't the most patient person, there were kids who were asking questions and louder than the adults but only out of excitement. He was a bit snippy with people who weren't walking as fast as him either. Other than him, it was a really nice time, especially being with my niece and nephew.
Very cool if you aren't in town for Mardi gras. Our kids loved it. Fascinating to learn the float and prop making process.
Cool to hear how it is all made and how the parade system works.
A must see. I love it. Came from Tampa fl. I love it here
Very nice & interesting tour. Wish they had air conditioning though.
This was a great learning experience. Loved it!
Our guide was great and we learned a lot of fun information about Mardi Gras.
Need inspiration? Visit Mardi Gras World and watch your imagination soar.
Had a very exciting day visiting here before getting on our cruise. Had NO IDEA how many floats they stored and redone for the many parades each year. The actual work area and transformation of each float was very educating as well as the preview of next years floats. A MUST SEE
Fun time with friends. A bit hot.
Neat seeing the designs. Wish it had more info about the history of Mardi Gras.
Was there as part of a conference event. We didnt get to see anything. Buffet was 3 or 4 small shrimp and a few bites of black beans and rice after waiting on massive lines. And having people yell at us. Band was good but we left.
Good Tour - You will enjoy to learn how they make the floats.. and even the Chick- fil A Cows !
This was great! So much to see and so much history!
This place was beautiful. It's a warehouse where a tour guide shows you how Mardi gras floats are made and the artistic and cultural traditions involved. It's half art museum, half working art studio, and really impressive. They also give a little free sample of king cake and a water bottle. Re handicap accessibility: - the studio is all accessible, but the ramp to the ticket window is sometimes closed off. You can move the barrier (it is light and on wheels) or ask for help. -handicap spots are available but the lot is gravel. They will let you drop off closer to avoid gravel if needed. -it is warmer than a typical museum. It's a warehouse with open doors in parts and lots of fans. However, if you are on medication that makes you overheat, ask your doctor first. -for people with autism who touch stuff in museums, this place should be ok. People touch the floats in real life in the parades. As long as it's not going to damage the pieces, a little touch is ok. Our guide at least also seemed friendly and cool with people with disabilities. Enjoy
This place does most of the 3D sculptures and builds many of the floats for Mardi Gras. If you ever wondered how this was done, you gotta visit this place. From the film showing the history of Mardi Gras to the factory tour, everything was worth the visit. A Nawlins must-see.
The whole season is great from parades in the French Quarter to St Charles to Canal Street! The Best of the Best Start on Wednesday before Mardi Gras and depending on the flavor are best spent between St Charles and from there anywhere along the way for the parades. A few things to make life easier - have your hotel within walking distance of parades and French Quarter. Ubers have a hard time in the thick of things. Wear comfortable shoes and prepare to walk. Be sure you have some restaurant reservations near the parades and if you can get a seat in the viewing stands from a hotel or restaurant. Muses, Baccus, Nyx, and most of the night parades are awesome. St Charles is a whole different experience but also a good one. Put on some sort of costume if just a headress or a wig and join in the fun!! Make a trip to FIFI Mahonys (Royal Street)!! Trust me!! In New Orleans in all things - PACE YOURSELF!! People there know how to party! If you don't then don't party like they do... Drunks are a nuisance. Watch out for thiefs and keep your valuables close and hidden - but all in all if you wonder why people fight over plastic beads... you won't question that anymore after one trip!!
the parking was high and we had to wait then they rushed us out really quick but I like all the statues and stuff plus I got the baby out the cake so im the king!
You wanna see the big heads and floats? This is cool and colorful. Nifty.
A must see when visiting NOLA! Really gives you an appreciation for the floats!
They had lots of props and had some floats to interesting to learn how there made
This is a review of the concert venue. I couldn't find any prior to our show, so I figured I'd share our experience. Not a terrible place for a show, but definitely in the lower half of NO venues. Just a big warehouse that they put a stage in. Beers weren't very cold, port a potties instead of toilets, and pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Throw in $15 for parking and we were less than impressed.
Great place to see what goes into those beautiful Marti Gras floats.
A great place to go if your in town and love seeing the creative process of how things are made. Mardi gras World is a place kids will love. There are floats as far as the eye can see. Individuals or groups can take tours of the behind the scenes making of the floats. You also get a little history in the beginning with a video of how they started Mardi Gras and Mardi Gras World.
It was great enjoyed it. It was interesting how they make the floats
Floats are a quintessential element of New Orleans Mardi Gras celebration. Mardi Gras World allows you to experience these floats up close and personal! You'll be able to experience all of the classics floats and character which is extremely #kidfriendly. The tour is phenomenal and jam packed with goodies/information.
It was far and tough to get to but it was fun. The floats and props are amazing.
Great place for family to learn about Mardi gras and see the floats
Wonderful! Our guide was so friendly and funny and extremely knowledgeable about Mardi Gras, which I’m sure you need to be but I felt the need to mention. I really enjoyed how we were able to walk around freely after the tour and take as many pics as we wanted. They also let us try king cake! Gift shop had tons of fun things as well.
Highly recommend! We booked a private tour for our group and it was the best! Our tour guide was hilarious and entertaining. Definitely a fun stop in NOLA.
Our tour started on time. They show a short video at the beginning that was very informative AND you get a piece of King Cake! Temps are hot in the warehouse in the summer, but they have fans on. Our guide was very good and answered all of our questions. Get a Groupon and save $3 per person.
Great place to check out and learn about the parades. Great tour - very informative and well worth it. Great photo ops with past and future floats
The place is definitely something to see. The tour is about 45 minutes and they explain the history about the company and of Mardi Gras as well. Very informative. Our guide had a lot of information. After the tour you are allowed and encouraged to walk around the warehouse and watch them work.
I loved Mardi Gras World, our tour guide Shawn was great. He added sh much character and entertainment beyond the fascinating exibits and parade floats. I went after they had the parades in town and they still had a great display.
The tour price was very high for what you experienced. For $22 you watch a 15 minute movie, eat a slice of king cake and then you are shown where they make the pieces that go on the floats. What they make is impressive, but after a while you become numb to it. I'm not saying it wasn't cool, just overpriced. One benefit is that their drivers will pick you up and drop you off at various locations around the city.
You can learn so much about the history of Mardi gras celebration and see the actual floats that were used in previous Mardi gras parades. You will also learn about how they are made. And you get a complementary king crab with the tour!!!
This was a really cool place! They store all the floats used for Mardi gras. Then the artists on staff remake them for the next float. They have tones of pieces they use to make them. Highly recommended to tour.
We completely enjoyed this tour with an enthusiastic guide and warehouse full of fascinating completed works and works in progress. Our guide gave us an insider’s view of Mardi Gras—crewes, parade rules, and traditions. This is a DO NOT MISS stop on the Hop On Hop Off tour, and close to Riverwalk and truly a scenic and easy walk back to the French Quarter should you miss the last bus.
My 1st time there and I was so excited to see all the wonderful floats
Loved it! Could do it again.
If you go to Nola, you have to check out the mardi gras world.
Shawn was awesome. He was a lot of fun to tour with! He was really fun and you could tell he was passionate about Mardi Gras and the floats. This is definitely a place worth checking out, just to get the behind the scenese look of how the parade floats are made. Would love to see maybe a timelapse video from start to finish on making the figurines on the float. Just an idea.
Saw JRAD here over jazz fest. Enjoyed it. Big room, huge outside area is great, and the burger truck that may sometimes be serving get it, it was the best part of my night.
The tour was fascinating, and I learned a lot about Mardigras
Very interesting place to visit. Mardi gras floats on display. Very pretty.
The place is okay. Was too cold in there. Better traffic direction.
Great tour. Informational
Such a cool place and I love seeing all the Mardi gras floats
I loved it was so fun to see all of the sculptures
Quite a unique experience. Definitely worth a visit to finally understand what Mardi Gras is all about. Dying art of building those enormous moving platforms. Get there before 3D computers make them all a museum exhibit.
It's worth seeing once. Now that I have seen it, I likely wouldn't go back. The process to make the floats is interesting.
Enjoyed the superkrewe open house. Great food and drinks from each float and the sponsors. Entertained by the St Augustine Marching 100. Mardi Gras World gift shop was an awesome experience with all the local items. The Mardi Gras World staff were all friendly and helpful. Great place to visit.
Hot but fun .. get your best price on Groupon if they a Have it and if you're close enough for the shuttle take it parking is 15$
Excellent trip, made even more special as only my wife and I were the only people on the tour. Very interesting and interactive tour guide.
Absolute must-see for anyone who loves Mardi Gras, and those who don't know anything about it. Beautiful props! Nice walk around the warehouse, up close and hands on. Nice gift store. Free shuttle to Canal Street and the French Quarter.
This place was amazing. All the art and pics we took were beautiful. Great atmosphere.
Really cool, once i found my tour! Makes a huuuge difference, otherwise it's just a big warehouse of cool-looking stuff with little meaning or narrative. They used to have info plaques but i guess someone bought them so not anymore! Lol
Wow. The conference am attending had there opening reception here. It was a last minute venue change, and you never would have known. This reception topped any conference event I've ever attended. It was super fun, and there's plenty to look at and distract you if you're attending alone. The place is also huge and has two building and a beautiful waterfront outdoor space. The warehouse is full of mardi gras statues and floats, and you can see some workshop spaces. Super cool. There was also another building that was a big surprise. If you're going there, this is a spoiler alert and do not read past this point! I went into this other building while it was dusk. Wandered slowly through the crowd to the outside at the back and was surprised. It had become dark outside so fast and was cool so quickly despite the heat I had just left behind. Then a moment later it registered. We were inside a building that looked like nighttime outside. The deception was incredible and beautiful. I couldn't wait to show my coworkers, who arrived when it was dark outside. When we entered the building, one of them exclaimed "why is it so cool out here when it was just super hot out". Someone else realized and then said, "woah, I think we're inside!" Anyways, super cool place.
The tour guide seemed bored, so therefore we were also bored. It's a shame because the floats and manufacturing process are quite interesting. Price of admission was nice and low so I would still regard this good value and a good thing to see when in New Orleans.
Staff was rude and it was literally just a hot warehouse with finished and unfinished floats. Nothing to really entertain you.
Wish we could have seen every single parade float in there. Great backstory on the history of Mardi Gras by very knowledgeable staff. Quite amazing seeing everything so up close and personal.
Very interesting and it was great to see how they create the floats!!! Very well done!
Great for entire family. You can spend hours looking at the many displays. Sign up for mask decorating. Kids young and old will enjoy.
Third time on this tour. Different things to see every time! Love watching the artists work. Don't miss this tour.
Great place. Third time visited.
It's ok would be better place if they can arrange the dummies in a way people can take better photographs
Great experience with three teenagers. Tour guide was knowledgeable. So cool to see it all being made in it's different stages.
Omg everything was so colorful and You really feel like being outside in the middle of a village. Service is awesome organize a great dinner with a large group.
Was nice to see pixie. Definitely coming back to see it in action. Lot of mardi gras parade items on display. Cool place to checkout. Some amazing artwork out here!
Float storage saw them moving some floats it was cool...part of the New Orleans tourist experience
This warehouse was really cool and impressive! The floats and sculptures were really well designed. Seeing all of the characters was awesome! They make floats/characters for professional sports teams and Disney in their lab! The Pixel robot that creates characters was one of the coolest things there. Make sure to check it out!! Plus there's a free shuttle to Mardi Gras World and back to many locations!
This tour was fantastic! I learned a lot about the history of Mardi Gras! And was able to see the process in making the marvelous floats seen in the parades! And I saw floats from previous Mardi Gras!
It's good for children on a class trip. We were there with diamond tours which is the worst tour company ever. We were dropped off and left in the gift shop for about 35 minute before we began our tour. Diamond tour dont deliver on their tours promises. They falsely advertise and they are cheap.
Super fun and informative place to visit. These people are pro's at making Mardi Gras floats. Very nice gift shop with lots of New Orleans souvenirs.
Worth seeing, alot of displays and active working studio on how they build the characters and floats.
I love all the art and seeing everything right up close it was amazing
Opening video on the tour was pretty boring. Guide was nice, but not very enthusiastic. Seeing the floats and the people working on them was super cool though.
We had such an incredible time learning the history of Mardi Gras and how the floats are built. A definite must do of your trip! The warehouse is HUGE, and has so much to see. Because it is a functioning studio, you can see all sorts of props being made at different times.
We spent a week in New Orleans and this was one place I really wanted to see as I would not be present for Mardi Gras. We did not have access to the entire warehouse which was understandable but just to get a glimpse of some pieces/floats was amazing! The magnitude of the sculptures blew me away! PIXIE was very impressive too! We got to have a piece of King Cake after the video was over as well and it was very tasty! Free Shuttle service was great too
Exciting tour to find out the details of Mardi Gras festival and information regarding how the floats and decorations are made. Watching the actual decorations being made was pretty neat. Pretty in-depth tour though I believe it’s a bit expensive. Check out the free shuttles to take you from Downtown or French Quarter. That was pretty neat.
Like many others, it was a must see! More so if you've never seen the floats in person. The video in the beginning didn't feel dated like some say. It's full of history, but it's sort enough that you'll survive. The walking portion is all inside and takes you face to face with artists and their work. There were lots running around on our visit as well as many floats. The gift shop was pretty good and reasonably priced. It's got a nice waterfront patio with tables and chairs if you want to sit for a bit. I parked in "lot J" across the street for $15.00. We went on a rainy day, so it was worth it to not stand in the rain waiting on a shuttle.
Very cool experience. A lot of talent on display here.
A fun and interesting way to not only learn about the history of Mardi Gras but also see it happening around you as you walk through the workshops and floats. I recommend driving, ubering, or taking the shuttle though as Google Map's walking directions took us through some odd areas.
Great tour! Don't miss this tour! Really interesting and colorful. Great chance to view the making of a Mardi Gras parade. I brought my family who was visiting from Florida. They loved the tour and the photo opps! Highly recommended!
Amazing!!! Well worth the trip. Our kids loved the tour.
A gem! Absolutely amazing. Good tour explains the history of the Mardi Gras since 1932 and how it has evolved over the years. Located in a warehouse of course, but this is where the magic happens with the artists.
Very unique experience. It was hot, no AC. It was a special event, so no artist working. Great place for photos.
Ahhhh Mayyy Zzinnggg!! Super cool place! It’s a huge warehouse where all of the Mardi Gras floats are made and stored. You start in the gift store and then are led by group to a movie room where you are shown watch a mini documentary of the history of Mardi Gras and it’s float constructions. Then the tour begins! You are led into the warehouse by your tour guide where you get to see all former attractions along with newer ones. You get to see the different stages of construction of objects for the floats. They come in different shapes and sizes and are scattered throughout. It’s such a whimsical magical place. I don’t want to give anything away! You just go see for yourself. Tip: Go on Groupon for cheaper tickets.
Interesting place. Was here for a conference venue. The floats and items there are pretty cool.
I wasn’t sure at first how this tour was going to be but it ended up being one of my favorite things we did in NOLA!! The tour was really neat, the guide was very informative and funny. We got to see the process of the floats being made, take pictures of and with them. Over all a must do in NOLA!!
Go. Go. Fun a bit of free and worth the time. Tack the trolley from your hotel.
Had a great time with the Delta Sorors during the 2019 Convention.
A fun place to visit. Great place for pictures.
A fun place to visit, learned a bit about the making the Mardi Gras floats. It's a working studio so you can see how things are made. They picked us up at a specified location for no extra charge which was niceand returned us after we were done. Tour was a bit short but purchasing tickets on groupon helped. Would recommend.
Tour is not very long about 20-30 mins, you get to see the work they been working on or previous piece. Good photo place, you can see lots of interesting things/people here. You can get a discounted ticket at groupon so worth the trip. Also free shuttle to bring and drop you in French quarter or downtown. You will need to meet at a certain location and call them they will let the driver know and pick you up. Not sure how reliable the shuttle is because the day I went french quarter shuttle is not in service.
This place was amazingly informative and our guide was very knowledgeable. I had a lot of fun and took an embarrassing amount of pictures. But the fun didn't end on the tour, we got to watch a short and informative movie. And to top that off, they have costumes and props so that you can have more fun and take your own pictures. If that's not enough, they even give you a piece of the ever so famous King Cake. Good fun and good memories. I will surely go back again some day
Really cool venue. The setting is excellent for concerts and events. I always love coming to Mardi Grad World for BUKU Music and Art Festival.
Very, very interesting! Since it was close to Mardi Gras, we got to see many floats that were completed. It was so fascinating to see the process of making the characters and objects come to life!
Lots of fun! Learned some very interesting things would suggest for everyone! It's really cool.
Mardi Gras World (also known as Blaine Kern's Mardi Gras World, MGW) is a tourist attraction located in New Orleans. Guests tour the 300,000 square foot working warehouse where floats are made for Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans.Mardi Gras World is located along the Mississippi River, next to the Morial Convention Center. Their events venue, the River City Complex, also hosts festivals, weddings, private parties and corporate events.
I recommend taking the Mardi Gras World tour on your next vacation to New Orleans. There is a free shuttle to and from Mardi Gras World. The guided tour will last about an hour and then you are free to explore on your own.
It was interesting to learn about and see the preparations needed to get floats prepared for the next year's Mardi Gras Parade.
Fun place. I loved seeing all the floats
A quick and easy place to visit. Nicely done. Free shuttle pick up and drop off at certain places.
If you have some time make sure to stop and see this place, but make sure you are prepared to pay 15$ for parking and 22$per adult. Very pricey for what it is in my opinion. The tour last for about 30 minutes. Make sure you take your time to look around afterwards. Very cool if you've never seen a float.
This place was super neat, we didn’t take the tour but we were at a function that occupied this space as an event venue. It was really hot, (4stars) with no AC at 7pm in June. It was still worth the visit!!!
A must see when visiting New Orleans. You can't imagine the floats that travel down the streets for Mardi Gras until you visit here. Then it all makes sense, and you want to be there!
Best tour ever.. try it when in NOLA
