As we were driving by we noticed this place and decided on a whim to stop. Its free so that is a huge bonus. We were pleasantly surprised. The two ladies working were friendly and knowledgeable and great at explaining to children and adults.

Fascinating! Though the buildings were closed (open Tuesday-Saturday, we were there Sunday) this place gives you just a hint of the lives of the people who lived and worked on a cotton plantation.
