REVIEWS OF Louisiana Children's Museum IN Louisiana

Sherry Tavel

Great learning and activity center for children. Perfect spot for after hour events.

Ashley Noriz

Nothing to see here. It's for preschool to Kimdergarten age kids, nothing more. Even then it's questionable. The place is filthy. Lots of pieces missing from all the activities. Very poor experience. Thankfully I only took 1 kid when we went to check it out. She is 7. Had I taken the 8 and 10 year old it would have been an even bigger waste of money. The little grocery store and restaurant were cute for pretend play but again maybe only under age 5 or 6 at the most. Very disappointing. We stayed maybe 45 minutes and it was a struggle to even stay somewhat entertained for that length of time.

Andrew Tuozzolo

Rainy days, hot days, virtually any days where the kiddos have nothing to do this is your spot. Hours of independent play and some fun learning experiences too. And when they open the new campus? It's going to be amazing. Overall just great fun for kids and a reprieve for beleaguered parents.

Nely Romero

This place was amazing! My daughter had so much fun, there was so much to do that she was overwhelmed. Luckily the weekend we went the admission was free, and we were visiting from Texas so it was nice doing something as a family with no money involved!! If you're in New Orleans I recommend you visit this museum with your kids!

Brian LeBaron

Great place for kids on a rainy day!

Barre Rousset

So much to do for children of all ages

Kira Worthy

Perfect place for a fun day with two toddlers. We went on a weekday and had run of the place! It was great.

Gus Cardona

This place is a paradise for toddlers and young children, they'll spend many hours discovering the various rooms, I watched my granddaughter create her first painting!

shandrell drayton

Great place for kids

Kevin Velez De Villa Mejia

There’s no parking we had to pay $15 to park 2 blocks from the location there was a lady on her phone who was the parking attendant and she had a nasty attitude cause I asked her what the fee was The museum is kinda old there’s 3 floors however only 2 floors is the actual museum the 2nd floor is for clerical offices for employees only so level 1 and 3 are for kids kinda okay I’ll give this museum a 7 out of 10 it’s $10 per person kid or adult so I paid $20 for me and my daughter you can run the whole museum in about 3 hours there’s a cool shopping place and restaurant for kids

Gary Shaffer

Learn....hands on learning

Corey Chadborn

Love it! So many great memories as a child. Can't wait until they open their new location in City Park so I can continue sharing the memories with my new family. So much to do and the staff is extremely friendly.

Love McQueen III

Great place for the kids to learn and have fun

Lucian Dumitrescu

Great place for familly to spend a day with free gifts!

Tracy

My daughter said she loved the food and games.

Eleni O'Neill

When we went, this place was quite unclean (just accumulated grime) and everything seemed very worn and un-maintained. In addition, my seven year old seemed too old for almost everything, although she did enjoy shopping in the pretend market and driving the stationary streetcar. Overall, for a slightly older child, did not seem worth the price of admission.

Maxim Kormilitsin

Both our 4 and 11 yo loved it.

Leslie McFadden

This museum is dear to my heart. I’m a native New Orleanian and have taken my daughters here when we came for a visit so that they could experience a little of New Orleans for themselves; now it’s my pleasure to bring my grandchildren. They all know first hand about “ making groceries.” ⚜️

Aaron Brockup

This place is great kids are loving it grand opening is this weekend Labor Day

Young Mother Journey!

my 7 month old enjoy the baby area! My 5 year old didn’t want to leave! Definitely will be back on a rainy day.

Leann Harms

My kids had a great time exploring this museum! There is so much to do here!

Morgan Thibodeaux

Fun place for a 4 year old. She loved exploring every room! It just needs some updates. Still feels like it hasn't changed since I have been when I was a kid.

Stephen Kerns

It can get crowded but we spent the entire morning just one the first floor. We can't wait to do the 2nd floor next week

Marshall Caillouet

Awesome place for younger children and a great staff.

Crystal Lewis

Great place to play! We spent hours here! The arts and crafts staff member was very nice and encouraging. The staff members we met had a sincere love for the museum and created a positive experience!

Dee Judge

Nice , pleasant. Three year old loves it Restaurant in my opinion is expensive And not worth the money. Pleasant staff though

Laura Kerns

Beautiful museum. Took 2 days to do with our toddler. Just avoid the overpriced cafe

PAMELA THOMAS

The kids enjoyed it and so did I.

jeremy miller

It's not quite what I remember as a kid, however my sons enjoy it. I'm really looking forward to the updated facilities when they open in City Park.

catlover Lacey

It had lots of fun activities, it was also a great way to learn how to cook and be a cashier.

Mark Coates

This place is really cool with interactive displays for children of all ages. They hosted a countdown to noon for new years eve and my daughter loved it. It was packed but I suspect this place gets much less traffic on a normal day. If we come back to NOLA when a special event isn't on we will come back with my daughter to get a better look at the displays here.

Chasity Sanders

The new Louisiana Children's Museum at City Park is amazing! So many books that relate to the unique interactive sections. This location is massive and even exciting for an adult. I especially love the 2nd floor where it is music and water mainly. The details about the Mississippi with so much water and creativity is nothing short of spectacular. The Mr. Okra truck in the food area was especially touching! The edible garden is still in formation, but I spotted an orange! And so I can't wait to visit again. The staff and volunteers were all warm, welcoming, and calm even in its grand opening business. I will be taking my nephews here very soon as there is something for kids of all ages. A magical place for our youth in New Orleans. I highly recommend visiting the Louisiana Children's museum even if you have no kids

Josephine Fleming

My kids played in the museum (the restaurant and grocery, specifically) for honestly hours. They loved it so much we went back a second time so they could play more. The museum is big enough to have a good amount of variety but not so big that you feel like you are going to loose your kids in excitement or exhibits. Plus they seemed to have some great daily activities. My kiddos wouldn't leave the restaurant tho...laughing. They loved all the local pretend food items. If we stayed longer, they would likely want to go back again!

Helaina Dorsey

My kids had a blast.

Crystal Titus

The kids had a blast

Gina L Dorsey

Kids 9/8 had a good time. Lots to look and and explore. Great price.

Jennifer C

We loved this place. A great way to spend a morning. The place is huge and we didn't even get to all the spaces. My 2.5 year old especially enjoyed the toddler area and the bubbles table. We were also there for reading time which happens in a cute fake porch area. If it weren't for nap time we would have stayed all day.

Lindsay Aho

Both kids, boy 7, girl 5 loved it!!! Literally here all day with a lunch break and the cafe which was delish!

Bharath GB

Do not expect this to be like the Indianapolis Children's Museum. This is a tiny museum with some interesting things. You will probably spend 1-2 he's here. Bubbles are fun.

d m Turner

Lots of fun. The kids loved it. I did too

MJHARPER HOLDINGS

It looks exactly the way I remember it from age 10... I'm 30 now... Which makes it that much cooler.

Kim McCullen

Nice interactive place We were in town for the weekend and stopped by this museum with the kids. It has several interactive stations and things for the kids to do. We spent almost 2 hrs with all of the things to see & could have easily spent another hour. Our kids range in age from 1-11 and they all had a good time!

B Earl

So much fun. We want 2 hours before closing and was not crowded at all. 12year old and 2 year old both had fun!

Yvette Rios

Didn't get to see much because my daughter refused to leave certain areas but what we did see we really liked

Patricia Hill

Came here with the kids and I had a great time. They enjoyed this mesuem so much. The place was EXTREMELY family friendly. It added some GREAT family memories to our new orleans trip. The staff was helpful and very knowledgeable. They were filled with tons of "fun facts" We are already talking about coming back!

Marshall Monica

Amazing new building in City Park.

gwapo996tt

They need a sign letting people know when they are not selling general admission tickets. They also need a sign letting people what line is for what purpose at the entrance.

casey arthur

This was absolutely awesome great fun educational

Diana Madrigal

Great place to bring your kids. We have always had a great time.

Guy Culotta

Great fun and games for kids of all ages. Enjoyed the import and export knowledge in the Port of New Orleans area. Upstairs is where it's at. Mini Winn Dixie for kids to shop, check out, and restock items.

Wes Ludloff

Great price and great fun. If you go on weekends the parking is free.

Jessie Holmes

Loved the whole experience! I took my 13 year old and my 3 year old. They both enjoyed it very much. Decent admission fee and good prices in the gift shop.

Sarah Kennedy

We love playing and learning here!

Carla D'Imperio

This is a great museum with tons for kids to do. Excellent staff, interactive exhibits, clean overall. The only negative is the parking situation.

Laura Rainier

Our kiddos always love this place! Even our 10 year old found tons to do. They didn't want to leave. Educational and entertaining.

ellie corral

The toy and play areas are clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. There were alot of things for the kids to do (ages 2.5 and 9). The pictures and looking at it from outside make it look smaller than what it actually is! We did end up parking about 3 blocks away at the WWII museum since there is no designated parking for the museum.

Gem G.

T'was our first time with our son and we had fun as much as he did. The floor on the toddler area though needs to be mopped or something, my toddler crawled around and when he got up his knees and hands were black and dirty. The plugs weren't covered, though they said it was safe without the cover, it'll just give parents peace of mind too. But we enjoyed our time there and will surely visit again when our son is older.

Dj Diym

My kid had fun. On this particular day we basically had the museum to ourselves.

jesse miller

This is an amazing children experience! May be one of the best in NOLA!

Mary-Vanessa Slawson

Really fun. Our favorites were the Mississippi River and the grocery store. The outside area and the fog were fun, too.

Renate Nguyen

This is not a brand new facility, and it’s not made to appeal to a hipster-parent esthetic, but the range and educational quality of the activities is excellent. Role-play (shop and cafe), building (plumber, big foam blocks, little blocks, you name it...), trains, bubbles... so many activities to choose from that you will likely spend your time running after your little ones as they go from one activity to the next. My 3-year-old was beyond excited. The theatre show provided one of his highlights: listening to the heartbeat of a giant life-size teddy bear. There is no cafe inside, but there is a sitting area where you can have your food, if you bring it. There are lockers, so you don’t need to lug your stuff around. If the entry fee doesn’t blow your budget, there is an adjoining toy store. We were here for two hours, but could have easily been here for three or four hours.

Robyn Deshotel

They made many displays of recycled card board. Very creative.

Kevin Pugh

Out of town from Georgia! My kids enjoyed it so much. Four hours strong we stayed there!

Knick Turner

Great focus on science, local history and industry, architecture and the human body. Great place for kids of any age. They even have a place just for the little ones to play and not get trampled.

Hospitality Of New Orleans

A great place to go with kids. The staff is always helpful and friendly. There are a lot of fun activities for the kids. There is also a new children Museum being built in City park which is fantastic. There will be more space for the kids to run around and get there energy out.

Ben Murray

Good place to take the kids keeps em busy for a hr or two.

David Everspaugh

Great time!

Cruising With Nugentz

Pretty cool getaway for the kids. Workers here are amazing and very interactive I was surprised.

Mafe Dongo

My kids had a great time, so did I!

Jo Po

Great place

Ana Rich

I really liked the other museum better. A lot of the fun things my kids liked is not there. The shotgun style homes with all their charm is not there, the street car is not there, the ship area that my kids LOVED to play in is not there, the bubble center was just the one big bubble (unless I just missed everything else), and the grocery store and cooking area are not as real looking as it was at the other one. The water area is really cool and the music room is cool. It is huge and it has a lot of potential and the parking is free so there’s that.

raymond glaser

Terrible experience. The free day for the community was just hype. You had to print special tickets to get in. I tried to print the tickets but was unable too because the website was not allowing it. A nice lady gave me tickets to get in.Although the people working in the official capacity would not let us in. Although the place is new its nothing special. The design and space were poorly constructed. They use cork as a building material for the children cubbie hole. The sunlight that directly shine on them will destroy it within a couple of years. In the water room is a bad idea. They took away the shopping carts in the grocery store. Furthermore they have a lot of light fixture in areas they don't need them. The outdoor play area is awful. THUMBS DOWN!!!!!

LovinLivin

Most people were raving about the new Children's Museum, but I guess I expected more. It's a huge building, but more than half is either party rooms, administrative offices, or just open space (like the stairwell area between wings). It's cool, and the Mississippi river exhibit is great, but you will get wet. Definitely worth your time and the $14 admission fee. If you live in the area, the annual passes are the best deal. It is a nice facility, and I'm glad that City Park is expanding, but it just doesn't have the "WOW" factor I was expecting, therefore minus a star.

Cali Nix

My kids had such a good time at LCM! Especially shopping in the market!

James LeBlanc

What a great place. Be sure and eat at the Acorn Cafe. Food was terrific.

Susie Gail Simms

Excellent place to bring the family and friends

Jacklin Rivera

My kids love it. I got a membership so I went with my kids and their cousins and other times with their friends. It was good to get the top family membership. They got enough of it for the year after the 4th time

Jose Guzman

Awesome place.

J Castillo

It's a very nice place to take your children and play, my son loved it. I just wish it was cleaner. I was sitting in the toddler area and the carpet and the play mats were so dirty.

CARRIE WALTMAN

I honestly liked the old museum better. So did my kids. Hopefully they add more to it bc it is not worth the $14 to get in. Also, imo the parents shouldn't have to pay full price to watch their kids play. It's a lot of nothing in a big space.

Thomas Douglass

Great fun for younger children. Showing some signs of wear. Looking forward to the new facility in City Park. That will also be easier to park.

Joe Morse

For a small price (8.50 for kids and adults alike) you can get into some really fun activities. From the nola-specific stuff like a kid-sized shipping boat and Jackson square where your toddler can replace the shady president in his statue, this place is great. Near other museums, the location is good too. It's not as amazing as the Indianapolis children's museum that I grew up with but it's a fine one for the region.

Marcy Del Monte

New years eve countdown was great. We had fun, lots of activities for the kids.

Richie C.

Good times.

Laura Reed

Nice museum but kinda small. The bubble area the grocery store and the mini restaurant are the best parts of the museum. They do not have a cafe though so make sure to bring your own lunch

Wesley Ludloff

First if all, I am a fan if the museum and a member, but we attended a special event and were very disappointed. We bought tickets for the Pajama Party Brunch this past weekend and were very dissatisfied with what we got for the price. It wasn't a Brunch, but a skimpy breakfast where they were handing out plates of cold grits, cold scrambled eggs and 2 strips of cold bacon or 1 sausage patty. The plates were being served cafeteria style by grumpy people. I didn't bother to eat because it looked so unappetizing. They were yelling, "last call for food" at 11:30 am because they ran out. They also called it a Live Jazz Brunch, but there was no Jazz Band. I reccomend the museum during normal hours, it is great fun and educational for the kids, but will not attend any more special events.

Shannin Moody

I can't wait for the new location to open in city park! It was fine but honestly I prefer the park. It feels like a private members only play ground during the weekday.

Portia O

My children really enjoyed it here. Lots of space and unique exhibits specific to the area. One of the largest "mini grocery stores" we've encountered. If traveling with little ones, this is a good stop for them to have fun from the usual sightseeing.

Tiffany WatersStone

Tons of fun stations! Our favorite was the water/aquaduct board.

Karen Adams

This is one of my favorite field trips!

yunhee Davis

We had so much fun ! Love this place!!

Murphy Martin

Fun for the whole family, my boys are ten and six and they loved it so much. We spent at least 2 hours there. I can't wait for the new location to open but this place has so many memories for me and my family. I love the location and parking isn't hard to find with multiple parking lots near by. The staff is really good and the exhibits and play areas are so much fun for the kids and being within walking distance of the convention center and the World war II museum is a big upside.

Devon Le Beouf

Needs updating. Better Parking, not convenient. Knock Knock Museum in Baton Rouge better choice just take the hr ride

Earthel Fuller

Excellent family experience. Educational and recreational. Great for birthday parties

Candice Cartwright

This is just the coolest place for everyone. What a brilliant learning opportunity. I love everything about the children’s Museum. I especially love the grocery store. Kids actually going through and making their purchases. The farm and building areas are cool too!

Marek Lewandowski

It's an expensively, yet rather aimlessly built playground, that charges every person entering $10 and reserves the right to take and use your picture for marketing, and, ultimately, doesn't deliver on the promise. Half the more interesting activities is either broken, incomplete, or inadequate for the age. Take a ball contraption puzzle without a ball, or a lever experiment that takes adult weight to activate, or an optics experiment which light source is unfocused and it's missing lenses. That leaves you with keva planks on a wobbly table and some general playing toys like an ambulance lookalike. Wasted money.

Crystal Amber

This MUSEUM was Very WONDERFUL!!!

Bertrand Miles

My kids really enjoyed themselves

Kristina Matthews

3rd time there! Kids love this place! Highly recommend

Paul Melancon

Classy renditiion.

Chelsi Coari

Love This museum for a nice family outing. The kids and adults have a great time playing and actually learning as well! Favorite part is the Grocery store and playing Boat Captain.

Frida Alcivar

So much to do and a lot fun for my little ones. One floor for toddlers and the second for five and up...

Vi James

My 2 grandchildren ages 2 and 4 had a wonderful time visiting this museum. There was plenty for them to do and play with. I would recommend this place. I did notice a sign saying that sometime this year they would be moving into their new location.

brandon leffall

Pricing is great and a lot of hands on opportunities

Barry Coates

I think this is the third best children's museum we've been too. We liked it and everywhere we went was our favorite spot to be. Story time was really well done and nice to have. The painting outside the bathroom was perfect for this place. We would definitely come back if we visit again.

David O

They have so many cool things to get the kids into like grocery shopping. Plumbing and architecture

Yacumii Harris

I have heard GREAT things about this place, but have never been. The kids TRULY enjoyed just about everything they had to offer. A great break from the same ol child activities

Nicole E. Williams

Great place to bring young children to learn while having fun.

Jonathan Fadok

A gorgeous new location. I love everything about this place. Fully interactive, fun, and educational.

Jessica James

Love the new building and there is a lot to do

Nelly Nazario

It is pretty good space and fun for kids until 8. Nice learning stations. It is still working on the organize entry. Pretty low even you brought the tickets online. it is crowded. Probably recently open. The parking is free but not easy to find one. It is on the grass near the small lakes. And if is raining the parking will be a nightmare. But it is fun for kids and adults to take a break with air conditioning.

Gail Blaine

I didn't expect much when I walked in, but turns out most of the cool stuff is on the second floor. My daughter had a great time here and we ended up coming on two consecutive days. Props to the employee who played alphabets with my daughter; it means a lot to me to see her interact so positively with others when she's out and about.Pro tip: If you seek covered parking, the WWII museum parking structure is just a few minutes walk and is similar-priced to the other lots.

Truth

REALLY REALLY NEED OUTLET COVERS. I saw a baby stick their finger in an outlet in the play area today. Thankfully she wasn't hurt, but all outlets need to be covered or plugged. Other than that, they need textured rubber mats for the water play area, as quite a few kids slipped and fell. Besides all of that, we had a great time. Lots for the kids to do. It's a great place. They're still working on getting everything together & up to par.

L Jameel Shaheer

cant wait to see the new location

Susan Brown

A nice small museum, more appropriate for kids under 7. We were visiting New Orleans and I took my 10 year old daughter. The museum was much too young for her, I would say most children over the age of 8 would be bored here. We looked around for about 45 minutes before leaving. Great place for little kids, but those with older kids would do better with the zoo.

Matthew Liedtke

The kids loved the Mississippi River

Tonya Watkins

We always take our 3 grandsons to the Louisiana Children's Museum whenever we visit them in New Orleans. We always have a blast! There were new exhibits this time and the boys loved there adventures! I highly recommend this museum for young and "old" kids.

Brent Fradella

This place is heaven for kids. Tons of stuff to do.

Ronda Reeves

This museum is a MUST if you have children!!!!

stacy palik

Best children's museum we've ever been too! Something for my 7 yr old and 10 yr old!!

Adam Brixey

Having been to several children museums around the country, this one really stood out. We brought our 2 year old daughter, and it was perfect for her. I'd say the 2-5 year old range might be the sweet spot for this place. So many interactive displays that let the kids feel, build, and experience. Really impressed by the story time area and overall variety of activities. Our little munchkin got wore out before she could do even 50% of what was offered.

TAMARA Kendrick

Best place to bring young children. Very clean play areas a place where a child can use thier imagination . Very affordable

Becky Corbin

Awesome place for learning and fun.

Kaelah Cobb

We had our annual Law school Ball at the Children's Museum and wow! Dealing with Jennifer Simon and her staff was so incredibly easy and they accommodated anything we needed. We had over 300 guests in attendance, all in their mid 20's - 40's and everyone LOVED it. It brought them back to being kids. It was such a pleasure to have our event here and if you are looking to host an event at a fun, different venue that has a great staff to work with, look no further. Thank you LCM for making our event a blast, even for adults!!

Ava Price

Great place for kids of all ages!

Chad Cosgrove

Brand new facility. Great place for fun and learning for kids or all ages

Tom McGee

Was excited to take my kids after close of old facility. New exhibits are lack luster, this could have been an amazing facility.

Stacy Marks

Took portraits for a magazine here recently very nice. Well organized and most helpful.

Chantel Dyer

We did a field trip there and it was wonderful like our kids had a great time

Brianna Lowe

Great place! My kiddo loved it. I even had some fun. We will be back

Ken Mack

Pretty cool place. Parking is much better than previous museum

Nickie McCann

What a fantastic Children's Museum. Much larger than it appears from outside. Has a great toddler area with daily activities. We really enjoyed the local flare on Children's Museums. Museum needs a little bit of upkeep but all in all it is a wonderful place to spend time with your children.

2 Kidz

My three year old absolutely loved this museum. We had to drag her out of one place so she could see another. On the other hand, my eleven year old was pretty bored. There were only two exhibits that held her attention for long, the eye clinic and the grocery store. Speaking of the grocery store, only one register out of four worked properly. This was a very popular stop, so it was pretty packed and the kids were frustrated that they couldn't ring up their items and print out a receipt. All in all it was a fun trip, but I probably wouldn't return because my oldest child wasn't as entertained as my youngest.

Jacob Chaddock

We went on a Sunday afternoon and they are supposed to be open til 4:30. Around 3:15 the power went out and they just ushered everyone out, no "rain check" or anything. That was a little disappointing we missed out on an hour of play! Other than, we really enjoyed ourselves. My 2 year old had a ball and there is several very educational tools that we will be utilizing!

Rafael Cortes

Nice beautiful activities for kids.Great staff service. The restaurant Acorn was a plus. Today was very crowded because was the opening weekend.

yvonne farmer

I absolutely Love coming to play. So much to do and keep your kids busy and learning at the same time!

Nahyma Bravo

Huge building, yet one must buy tickets days in advance to go in??? The old one was smaller and yet one didn't have to buy tickets in advance!!! What if one is a tourist and want to go in on a whim?? The play area are not as good as the old ones.. such as the restaurant, grocery etc....

Richard Scott

It was an awesome place to let your child explore

Lana Barto

Great family time!

Josie

Went with my granddaughter on a field trip here and we really loved it! The staff are so helpful and friendly and my grand daughter and I had a lovely time.

Andrea Carlough

My kids had a great time exploring the children's museum and could easily have spent another hour here if they weren't closing. They had the most fun lifting themselves on the weighted seats and playing in the giant bubble maker. They were free for us because of the museums we belong to at home. It was worth the trip and we will probably be back when we visit New Orleans again.

Donald Ellis

Beautiful facility.

Brian Feltner

Fun place to take the kids.

Dawne L.

I had just as much fun as my kids- maybe more. Interactive and interesting. Fair pricing. A ' must do' if visiting NOLA with children.

Susan Thompson

My 3 year old loved it! There is so much more to do than I remember as a kid. He especially loved the train set and story time!

Mike Surrenvy

My grandchildren loved it, I loved it myself

Ian Celino

Have had a membership for years. My son loves this place and the events they put on year round are great. Great place to take the kids for a couple of hours. Staff is very friendly and interacts with the kids. Place is always clean and toys in good shape.

Patrick Needham

An obviously well-loved place. Some of the exhibits had seen the tests of years of children's play, but we encountered a number of exhibits unique to the location, such as a gallery on local architecture and city planning and a recreation of the Port of New Orleans. I'd be very happy to see what they do with their new space opening in the fall.

Martin Puddington

Great place for toddlers. For those who won t stop touching everything is ideal. Many things to touch and explore in a safe environment.

Don Vinson

Great place for kids to be kids.

Christopher Williams

My 3yo son loved his first experience at Julia st location. He enjoyed storytime very much. Cant wait until city park site opens!

Nick Koerner

What a great place! So many things to explore and they have different areas for all ages of children.

Steve A

Great place for kids to expand there brain. Great place for family fun.

Sybil Dorceant

Good source of amusement for young kids. A few drawbacks include: no on-site restaurant or cafe so you have to dine somewhere nearby if your child gets hungry. They do have vending machines inside though. Also, no on-site parking but you can park at the lot next door for only $5. Overall your child will likely have a great time here. If your child is very active, they may not enjoy it as much because it's more of a calmer setting.

Madeline Chenevert

My partner and I got to visit for one final event for adults before they move to city park. I had a blast there as a kid, and it's still that fun. Maybe just don't order a fish sandwich from the cafe.

Jessica Petty

We visited New Orleans for 3 weeks and actually bought a membership here because it pays for itself so quickly. I have a 2 year old and our hotel was a 7 minute walk to this place. They have a special area on the 3rd floor got children 3 and under but the other areas are great too. It can be busy first thing in the morning but the afternoon is pretty low key. They have a snack area downstairs with vending machines so they keep it simple but there are so many restaurants around that it makes sense to only have small snacks there. Their toy store is awesome. People here are really friendly and helpful.

Theresa Gale

Great place for kids young and old!

Joy Stone

Only visited gift shop to purchase books for my children. Excellent product line.
