This was a neat little place. I didn't pay to go in but it was still very informative. They have a nice picnic area out front that you don't have to pay for and you can get maps of the area.

Don't plan on taking photos. Also they did not tell us no photos, my wife had a DSLR camera around her neck. There are signs posted heading out to the museum and everywhere inside the museum after you pay. Also when we went, the trail was not open and they offered no discount.

It was a self-guided tour with no real direction on where to start. It would be more interesting with a guide.

Had a wonderful time with my kids (first timers) even with the rain coming down for the event this passed weekend. The staff and vendors were awesome crafts stations were very educational. Can't wait to come back on a dry day to explore more of the area.

Wickliffe Mounds was an incredible place! We and our kids had a blast learning about native culture from this amazing historical/archeological site!

Shifu RC

A wonderful archaelogical treasure for KY. Unforuntately, despite the 2012 re-burial of the remains found on site, the continued sales and marketing on location has made for very "bad medicine." The forest on the walk is sick. Wear a hoodie and stay off the cemetery mound. Show reverence and thankfulness. A very wonderful treasure, indeed. It's terrible to know that the remains weren't re-consecrated until as recently as 2012. It may take some time and something else to settle the spirits there. Go, but be aware of the history regarding the archaeology there.

Teresa Ray
