I went because my boyfriend wanted to go, but ended up enjoying it a great deal. It's a very small museum, but filled with white a few of Edison's inventions. Also, the tour guide was super nice, and is bilingual.

Very interesting place to visit where Edison once lived. they have a lot of his inventions. There are many versions of the gramophone Dictaphone and of course what became a record player as well as inventions for a Telegraph key operator . It's a small place, by my brother and I spent a couple hours here.

That was nice being there with my 10-year-old son. The gentelman who explained there was very nice, kind and lovely elderman. You can find kind of cool antice items there that can make your kids and even you surprise besides some information about Edison and hix life style. If you are a student at school or college you will pay only 3 dollars and if not was 5 or 6 I think. There was no parking problem on the weekend. You will take about 1 hour or so there. Any place worth to see once.

Lots of information in a small and quick stop, staff is very knowledgeable.

Jim Christianson

This is a great place to go if you want to learn more about Thomas Edison's life and inventions. The staff was very knowledgable and cranked up the cylinder phonograph and we learned why cylinder recordings were not the best idea and why records were the winning format for the time.

Well done, good quality museum about the positives of Edison's career. Mostly inventions. No display about DC current or battles with Tesla. But still a good museum for its size.

For a small place the Thomas Edison House was very interesting. Our guide was awesome!!!

Fun little outing for the family. The gentleman who works there gave us a tour. If you like science and how it was like for folks in the old days, you should check this museum out. We take our phones, sound systems, movies for granted. Edison did more than just invent the light bulb. He had his hand in a lot of things...even dolls!

Jasper Ross!

Very Interesting Tour and incredible artifacts!

It was neat to see all the old light bulbs, telegraph and other items. But, I thought they charged way too much for the small number of exhibits.

Thomas Edison rented a room here for a year when he was 19 years old. Now it's a museum honoring his inventions. It's an adorable little house in an area that looks like it's on its way back up.

Julian Kaiser

Honestly, I expected this place to be way busier! Our tour guide was a great guy who helped us not only with the museum but with the surrounding area. Definitely, go here if you have time and you're nearby.

A small building that contains a lot of history. Edison's Louisville connection is not always well known, but worth checking out.

Robert Nielsen

A fantastic tour through the life of a great individual who made monumental contributions to the world. I did not catch her name, but our tour guide today was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We spent about 30 minutes at the house.

Cory McGuffin

The name is kind of misleading, he didn't really live there a lot. He just rented it out for period of time while he worked at a telegraph place. But it's cheap. And the guy that's running it seemed pretty cool. He even put a lightbulb from the display case in a working socket because the old one burned out. I'm not sure where the old one went but it's probably sitting in one of the display cases there. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because a lot of the stuff there is reproduction but they have air conditioning so that is nice.

Hassan Alsawaf

It's small house. People there are friendly

Donald Rodgers

Great tour guide in a house that is a very little known aspect of Thomas Edison's life. It's great that they preserved this. A must for any history or technology fan.
