They try to play to the liking of children and my kids do love their play area upstairs, but the place is in major need of upgrading. Their museum is very dusty and outdated. I was so looking forward to bringing my kids annually (at least), but there was so little to do/see (other than the play area upstairs) that I'd rather take them to a free park then pay for this museum.

Perfect indoor play place for my family

Very outdated, price is too high for what you get. Play place is not suitable for all ages, no monitoring of children (people were sitting their toddlers in the magnetic bucket with nuts and bolts and then we're accidently carrying them into the slides and such. Found a whole pocket full that I returned to the magnetic bucket to keep my one year old from eating them...) Needs lots of work!

Very accessible to everyone. First floor exhibition rotates fairly regularly. Second floor play area could be a bit overhauled, but it is a good destination for the young and curious.

It was good. It seemed to be a little dingy and dark. Not all the kids exhibits were working but my 3 year old had a good time anyway. They were working on new exhibits I think. Anyway, it was worth going once. $5 a person isn’t bad. But with smothers park on the next block for free, I don’t think it’s worth going again.

Fun little hands-on play area on second floor. Cool mammoth skeleton, wind tunnel, and Speedzeum on first floor, lots of fun extra activities throughout the week. A few displays and exhibits not fully operational. Other than that, great value. Kids had a BLAST.

This museum has tons of potential. They are working on updating it, but there is still alot that needs to be done. My kids really liked the cave and the cave fish and the upstairs play area. The upstairs play area really needs some updates, but it still kept them occupied. Its good for a rainy/cold day out of the house.

After a week of rainy days I took my grandkids to the museum for some indoor fun. We have been many times before but this time I was very disappointed. At the entrance, the train display was broken down and half the buttons didn't work. Going inside on the first level half the lights were out and we were unable to see the displays. Heading up to the 2nd floor to the childrens play area we found more lights that were not on, hands on displays that didn't work, puppet theater curtains torn, half the puzzles missing, most of the play food gone and just a general mess. Although the children ran and played quite happily I was quite disgusted at the disrepair of the museum.

Children's area is somewhat in disrepair, but you can tell they're working on things. Rest of the museum is in pretty good shape though. The Santa they had for the holiday stroll was great!

It's ok but it needs more exibits and some interactive exibits weren't working right, and could not interacte with one exbit because they had the button sealed off. Could have been better but it dose have some cool to things. We still had fun though.

If you have children doing a project or know someone who is interested in dinosaurs. This is the place to take them. They can learn so much in one day. And the neatest part it's all pretty much hands on. It was a great experience and so many different things to see. My all time favorite would of been the old cars there and the gem fossils. Hehe maybe even the taxidermy animals to. Gives you close up of the actual size of a fully grown. Just amazed at what we learned and would definitely be back soon for another visit..

This was our 2nd visit. I wasn't impressed. Bathrooms needed cleaned, cobwebs, construction tools and ladder left sitting out in area where kids were playing. Most of the "interactive" exhibits weren't working. Definitely needs to be upgraded and cleaned.

여기 Owensboro down town은 다른 도시 down town 보다 조용하고 깨끗하고 정감을 갖게하는 도시에요 주위에는 공원도 있고 켄터키와 인디아나를 연결하는 파란색 철재 다리 아래는 오하이오 강이 흐르고 마음을 편안하게 해 줍니다 이 박물관을 차로 올 때에 주차가 문제인데 이 다운타운은 시에서 무료 주차하게 하네요 주챠는 그리 신경 안 쓰셔도 될 것 같네요 이 박물관을 들어 갈 때에 $5 입장료를 내야 합니다 이 안을 들어 가면은 왼편 쪽 출입하고 부터 동물들 박제 및 실제 공룡 알들이 화석으로 변하였던 것을 채취하여 전시하였는데 처음 보았고 귀중한 자료들을 전시하였던군요 더 안으로 들어가면 고풍 차및 현대 차및 경주차를 전시하였고 과학관은 좀 더 창의적이고 진취적인 소재들을 갖추지 못해서 아쉽습니다 현대 과학관을 좀더 개발해서 전시하면은 신구가 잘 조화되어 명소가 될 것 같습니다

This place is absolutely terrible. I bought a family membership(planning to go once a week, at least through the winter)and asked for refund on my way out. I used to take my 17 year old here, and a decade later it looks the same, only worse. There’s nothing new. Everything is in need of repair. The playground area doesn’t look like a vacuum has ever been used. It’s so sad.

We were there while it was raining outside and my daughter got her clothes wet while playing in the tunnel because it was leaking. Also, my son got puke on his clothes because another child must have got sick in the treehouse. They got rid of all the the dinosaur exhibit items and left the room empty. Multiple lights were out upstairs and made it hard to see. Many parents don’t watch their kids in the play area because they on their phones. Unfortunately, we are members but probably won’t come back until improvements are made.

I'm sure it is better if you have a guide like a I saw the groups have... as I wondered aimlessly around, half the exhibits had no explanations of what they were... the museum is extremely small and has a few dinosaur things, some race stuff and a few history exhibits...
