REVIEWS OF Kentucky Science Center IN Kentucky

Stumpy Stump

Absolutely love the science center. I hadn't been since I was a kid myself, and i took my daughter there and she loved it as well. Very neat exhibits, and lots of things to do for kids of all ages. The fort making room is alot of fun for me and my family in particular.

Arthur Lawson

Great for elementary school field trips; adults not so much.

Dan Keizer

Visiting from Detroit, my 11 and 7yo kids loved it and didn't want to leave. Everything was well maintained, there were places for adults to sit down and relax. No complaints whatsoever, would go again.

Gregory Hall

Today my wife and daughter along with a friend of hers went to the Kentucky Science Center for an event called Dogs' Days. It was about dogs doing specialized jobs, such as search and rescue, police K-9, assistance, etc. The girls had a blast getting to know and pet the dogs, especially when the dogs were looking for attention!

Ayden Mcclure

It's a good place for your child to experience some science and be hands on with the exhibits. The place smells very unpleasant. Some exhibits looked nasty and like they needed a good wash. The staff were kind when we purchased tickets. Overall it's a decent experience just use the hand sanitizer every once and a while.

Steve F

Not overly impressed with this place. Not enough for kids to do. My son is 11 and he was bored quickly

Brandon Carter

This is great for kids or if you've had a couple of drinks.

Michael Sutton

My son adores the water table, which is one of the best I've seen at a museum. They offer a once a month evening open to toddlers only free for 2 hours. So worth it and gives you a chance to see if the museum would be a good investment. Hint: it is! We will be adding the science museum membership to our zoo membership next year!

Jesse Bartlett

I brought my kid here and he learned so much at this place. It is full of interactive science and my kid enjoyed all the working activities! I will definitely invite my nephews and nieces so we could have fun together at this place next time!

Nanci Dively

Good museum, but a little outdated and often broken. Some exhibits have been there since I was a kid (80-90s). It's fun and they have some interesting exhibits.

Meagan Gardenhire

We had a blast. We ended up spending about .3 hours here. We waited for our movie(which was not worth the extra money) Some of the exhibits need to be updated, cleaned, or rethought. Overall We would go back and do most of it again. The staff was very kind and knowledgable. Give ita try but make sure the movie you are going to see is longer than 20 minutes.

Eric Herron

Great exhibits with a lot of hands-on activities.

Skycarcass

Great place for my kids ages 1-5. So much to do and see. My kids loved it. Employees seemed to really like what they were doing even though I'm sure it's stressful dealing with so many kids.

Carlene Baurichter

The museum was well organized and had some neat interactive exhibits, like "Who Forted?" where children can build pillow forts. There are challenges for kids to try to build a fort using only one sheet so they have to problem solve. Other cool exhibits include the Discovery Center, where you can see a mummy. I recommend the museum especially if you have active, inquisitive kids!

Hilary Monday

Love this place! So much fun for people of all ages.

Adam Noble

Sad shell of its former self after "renovations". Little of educational value for kids and very trashy. The top floor that used to focus on health and the body is now a pillow fort building area that consists of old blanks and pillows. The rest of the museum is just empty space where there old exhibits used to be, Don't waste your money.

Kim Stoeffler

It was a fun place to go not as many exhibits as I would have liked. But that's in comparison to the Indianapolis children's museum that by far is the best in the nation

Derek Hyland

Three stories of exhibits that were perfect for a full day of fun for our kids aged 5 through almost 8. Lots of interactive fun, a great 3d theater experience (seats are SMALL though), and a gift shop with reasonable prices (in comparison to other science center gift shops). The first floor is the best play area for smaller kids with lots to climb on and create. Fully expected to spend about 2 hours here and ended up spending 6. A great family experience!

Danielle Gallahar

I absolutely love this place. This was such a great outing for my family. There were so many things to do and see. My children loved it as well. It was also nice that on Fridays and Saturdays it's only 5$ to get in after 5pm and they close at 9pm. We will definitely be going back.

Carmen Russell

My kids love the Science Museum. We drive all the way from Lexington to go!

Juan Stalones

Oh my God! It's wonderful. There is a lot of hands on activities for the kids and they work! That's a rare thing at these types of Museum. Your kid will have a blast and will learn a lot from the experience. I don't have a lot of pics because we were to busy playing!

Marla Basnight

It was fun .. I felt it was rather high priced .. It cost more to get in than I make for an hour of work. But I did enjoy my time there with my daughter 3 grand children and great grand baby...

Carrie Van Winkle

Terrible experience. Half of the interactive buttons werent working. Children under 5 would have the most fun here.

Carl Arendall

We spent almost the whole day there. There was lots to keep the kids busy and entertained. The IMAX theater is great for the movies. The Forts area was fun for the whole family!

Jewel Cearley

It was a great place for kids and adults. A few hour or more entertaining. Highly recommend for kids.

Catherine Miller

Took my 3 year old son here and we were both impressed with all the fun activities. Our favorite part was the water table! Be sure to bring an extra set of clothes for your kiddo since they will most likely get wet having fun!

Kendra Skellenger

Had so much fun! My husband and I went to Louisville for our second anniversary and this was our first stop. They were so sweet, gave us a discount because it was our anniversary and just made us feel welcome, even though we didn’t have any children with us. So much fun!

Matthew Adams

Big with tons of options. My 2 year old loved it. We will definitely go back if we are ever back in the area.

Jordon Mathis

Amazing place!!! Everything was very interactive for children and adults. The kids absolutely loved this place! Staff very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend it.

Gloria Alverio

So much fun! My kiddos had a blast. Special deals after 5 on Friday and Saturday.

Jim Stickler

Great place to take the kids, especially during rainy weather.

DeeDee Goodman

This is an awesome placeto take the kids and engage their minds! Everything is interactive, they can touch anything and there is so much to see!

charles thomas

Great place to take the kids. Went to a child's birthday party and they all had fun!

Nicole Lee

This place is very informative fun and dull of adventures specially for kids

Ben Welch

Great place to get kids out and allow them to interact with multiple exhibits. Not much has changed in 25+ years of going to the Science Center, some exhibits are from when I was a kid. Just about everything is hands on and allows kids (and Parents) to see how many things work or are made from a base level, easy to understand and explain. The theater is a great experience and they have a good rotation of films, that are fun and interesting. Can be crowded at times, but they offer discounts on weekend nights, which usually has a lighter crowd along with a discount.

Mac Stern

I remember this center from when I was a kid and now I take my kids here and they love it!

Evan Profancik

Spent the entire day there with the family and didn't make it past the second floor. Fun and educational. If you have as many kids as I do I highly recommend getting the family membership. I have 5 kids and it was only $1 more than a one day admission plus gets you into other museums around the country.

pamela beal

Me and my kids love the Science Center. I have been going since I was little, and it is still one of my kids favorite places in Louisville. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is I feel like they used to rotate the exhibits downstairs more then they do now. My kids get a little bored with the same things all the time.

Craig Dixon

Very cool place. The kids loved it. Workers and volunteers everywhere if you have questions. The "explosion of the day" was very cool. Comparable to other children's museums we've been to, but some things we hadn't seen anywhere else, like the "build a blanket fort" exhibit. We were there for over two hours and still didn't feel like the kids really got to do everything they wanted to or as long as they wanted to do it. And we didn't even attempt the movies (which cost extra).

Kate Dening

Loved this place! The kids had a great time exploring.

Shmully Litvin

Kids had a great time, and I had a great time being a kid

Dustin Powell

Lots of fun for the family, took my wife and 6 year old. We had a lots if fun. Watch out there is a water area lol.

Laura Kaufman

The Kentucky Science Center has activities for a broad range of ages for children. It is multi-floored with sectioned off areas for the various interests. Set up so it does not feel conjested or noisy. The theater documentary we viewed on pandas was very enlightening. Well worth the experience. Check out the mini science experiments demonstrated at different times during your visit.

Kathryn Nolen

Amazing place, lots to see for any age group, the staff is very, very friendly. One staff member played with the kids for 30 minutes building a castle. They have a build a fort station, water table and tons of learning activities. It wasnt too busy even with a school group there. They have bathrooms with stalls so youre not stuck if youre there alone with the kids. All in all an amazing experience. We will be back.

Marianne Paige

We were there for the Whitney Young Scholars program and not actually to go around the center. However, we did get to walk around and see the first floor. I hadn't been there in several years and they've definitely made some improvements and added more interactive stuff. Even in the "kiddie" area a few things impressed the 12 yr old grandson and that's saying something!!!

J. Patrick Spalding

Wonderful place for science learning. Best when with children, but have been a time without as well to watch imax and take more time to learn

Candace Hardin

Fantastic experience for children. Worth every penny. (Many areas are enjoyable for adults as well).

April Ventura

A lot to do with kids and they loved it was very fun.

Derrick McElroy

Makes me feel like a kid again. Great memories are made with children.

Kathryn Lehman

We are part of the museum pass network and we really enjoyed our time there! So much to do, we could have stayed all day. We will for sure be back!

Jaime Perez

This place is fun for kids. I'm a nerd and I love seeing some cool science stuff. This place had very interesting things to show but they were mainly elementary. I had no prior experience in Louisville, KY so I didn't know this science museum was meant for kids. I recommend you go if you have children with you. If you're an adult and are alone don't come here, or you will end up looking like a creep. Lol.

chelsea mayer

We always have fun when we explore and find interactive adventures !

Mary Howard

Fun place to take kids of all ages. Even the teenagers found things to do to have fun here. Parking was behind the building and cost 8. There was a ped way walk way at the back of the parking lot and building. We missed that when we first got there and walked the street.

Joseph Chandler

Great museum with lots of interaction for the kids. Not unlike other kids attractions such as The McWayne Center in Birmingham. You do get free admission with other science museum membership affiliates. We only got to stay about 2 hours but the kids loved it!

Rebecca Christine

My daughter absolutely adores this place.

Jessica Hall

Great and fun experience for the family. Check out the bubble machine. Kids freak

Cassidy Wood

Its awesome and kept my kid entertained! Win win!

12803sarah

Needs major updating. A lot of the interactive exhibits were either broken (cracked plastic, cloudy water) or missing pieces. Dirty carpet. Great for children under 4. Older kids I feel will get bored. The only thing worth doing is one of the IMAX movies, which costs extra. Two adult tickets and a 20 minute movie was almost $50. I remember going when I was a child and it was the best place ever. Not the same. New exhibits would be great. I remember a long time ago there was a life-size dinosaur exhibit that was really cool.

Peter Arnberg

Always a good way to spend an afternoon with kids. It has been consistently so for as long as I can remember. Of course, that consistency wears on some exhibits more than others. The kinetic toys are always and will always be fun. Anything you can build, make, arrange, or connect to illustrate a mechanical principle is going to be a timeless addition to any science museum. Anything that has a screen is obsolete and boring before it is installed. Kids might be drawn to them but are very quickly disappointed because the devices waiting for them at home or in the car or in their pockets are going to be way more fun and will probably be a more effective educational tool as well. And they'll be more likely to walk away from the science center with a sense of disappointment. Thankfully the KSC has more of the kinetic toys variety than the screen variety. But there's still enough of the latter to distract from the former and I wish they would phase the screens out ASAP. (While the little ones and I were having a ball with magnets and a tournament bracket on the wall--having generally interesting discussions about what's better, snow or rain--the older boy was standing in a long line waiting to play a 10 year old XBox Kinect game. Please get rid of this, KSC!!

Donna Macdonell

We have been going to the Kentucky Science center since my daughters were young. Just took my granddaughter for the first time. Lots of options for a toddler. She loved the area with lights and the magnets.

Richard Head

My grandchildren are almost 2 and 5. It is difficult finding activities that are entertaining for both, as well as educational. They were fully immersed in the experience for the two hours we were there. Both went home with sock puppets, and were happily exhausted. I wish I had purchased the family membership instead of the single use tickets, because we will definitely be back.

Andrew Green

Our family had a blast here! So much fun with learning!

hp hp

I have 2 younger kids 3 & 7 and we all had a blast! They have discounted tickets for only $5 on Friday and Saturday nights after 5pm for exhibits only and they are open till 9! I enjoyed taking the kids somewhere that was fun and educational at the same time. We will go back soon!

Heather Popiel

This place is a must for children. Many floors and each floor up grows with your child. Our son is 2 and we were there for 4 hours. We spent most of our time on the 1st floor and a small amount of time on the 2nd floor. Each floor beyond that was too advanced for our son. He had a blast!

christopher hinton

Excellent environment, plenty to do. Probably best for children over 4 years, but my 2 year old had a lot of fun as well .

Kyle Henderson

Centet is slightly run down for what you have to pay for entry, but the kids love it. Great interactive activities with rotating exhibits.

Hoosier Nation

Fairly big place kids liked it but alittle expensive. 2 adults plus 2 and 4 year old was 65.00 dollars to get in.

Bobbi Riesebeck

Lots of age appropriate activities for a variety of ages. We have an annual pass and tent to spend 2 to 3 hours per visit. The third floor is geared for 8 and under. My 10 yo still enjoys it and is respectful to the younger kids. We typically start on the second and third floors and end on the first floor. The weather exhibit on the second floor where you can record a mock weatherman video is a favorite of my boys. There is an eating area located in the basement and a Subway on the main level.

Isaac Hall

Always a good time! With 3 kids, there's always something each of them love and everyone is happy. It can get a bit busy at times, but there's always something you can do

MR. CHIP22

There are attractions for all ages here very fun place to go and learn how stuff works.

Cyril Thomas

Had a terrific day with the family. So many things that capture your imagination and a good amount of interactive areas for children and adults alike. Definitely an awesome experience.

Miranda Morris

The Kentucky Science Center is a great place to take kids who love to learn while playing. The center has a multitude of great activities to help kids learn things like gravity or architecture. They have a fantastic set of exhibits, some of which rotate out. Their gift shop has a lot of educational but fun things for you to take home. All in all a fantastic place to take your kids. And on Friday evenings (and possibly Sunday?) tickets are at a reduced price!

Katie Castaldi

We LOVED this place! We have a membership to another ASTC museum so we've been to quite a few kid's museums around the country. This is one is now one of our favorites! We were there for 3 hours and only got through half of the exhibits. I have 4 kids aged 5-12 and they all were engaged the entire time. My husband and I had a great time playing, too! I think my favorite part of this place is their tolerance and even encouragement of children being fully creative. Science centers often come with "please don't do that" but I really felt like my kids were free to explore the way they wanted with minimal restrictions. They also have signs in each room to encourage parents to engage WITH their kids instead of just watching. The signs also have questions you can ask your kids like "What could you do to make it go faster?", etc. Wish we lived closer so we could frequent this amazing kid's center. We loved it so much though, we may drive the 9 hours someday just to go here!

Lauren Reese

I've seen complaints that the exhibits are old and cheap - which I'd like to address. They have several exhibits that are using common found objects for kids to sort and build and otherwise engage their imaginations. One example is the "shape shop" and another is the huge open room where they have furniture and blankets for fort building. A lot of these things would be easy and cheap to do at home if you happened to live in a warehouse. Since I live in an apartment I appreciate having a place with so much cool stuff for my kids to do

James Doe Boy

Me and my fiance and step sons went for a after school field trip and it was AMAZING! We had Subway for lunch and caught a Imax movie "Ocean's" in 3D it was awesome! I recommend it especially if you would like to show your children the much needed information on how our world operates And you may discover your child is the next Einstein lol have fun

Brittany Longmire

This is a wonderful place to go! My daughter is in love with this place and asks to come here all the time. They always have new and interesting things to play with and learn about. Highly recommend if you are local or someone visiting to come and check this place out

Jessica Russo

I've loved the science center since I was a kid. Recently went there with my family to take my nephew (19 months) and he had a great time. They have some great exhibits for young and old. They have lots of workers who wander around telling you extra fun facts or answering questions for you. It was all very interactive and educational.

Jessica Bauer

It's a good place for children to exhort themselves as it is completely interactive. It offers little to nothing in the terms of adult entertainment. Keep that in mind. It is a children's museum in ever since of the word!

Malinda

Love the science center more than my son!

Christopher Lynn

This was a nice experience for the kids and I. We purchased the duo tickets, museum and a movie, and it was worth it. It was a bit pricey, but its noce to support places like this. The movie experience was definitely awesome and we were able to spend the majority of the day here with plenty of cool things to do and check out. There is also a clean subway restaurant connected to the science center so it made lunch quick and easy.

Kris Bailey

Always something new to see and learn. But I must say that the cleanliness and organization was definitely not good at our last visit and many exhibits were not working.

Sandra G

Kids had a ball and us parents I think had just as much fun.

Ana Cohen

It wasn't the best children museum but the price was reasonable. The demonstration that they did was interesting and the movie was ok. I advise you get a membership so you can get the reciprocal benefits to go to other museums also. We had fun. Should have brought the smaller kids though, my 16 and15 year olds weren't into some stuff.

Callean Ilonka

We have been here many times in many forms; field trips, birthday parties, "killing an hour" after school on a rainy day, and day camps for elementary school-age kids - and every time is an absolute JOY! The way it is set up allows for freedom of play and exploration, and the camps are so well run. It is a VERY popular place to take families on snow days and summertime, so be prepared for a crowd. That being said, it gets busy but never seems too crowded, there is always some activity or place space available. We LOVE the Science Center!

Eye of Ra

The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because lots of things didn’t seem to work right. The ones that were working were a lot of fun and we had a great time. The one in Cincinnati is still my favorite

Jen McMillin

Really enjoyed and so did my 5 year old!

Lexie Lay

I wish it was better. When we visited it was extremely dirty, half of the exhibits weren't working or missing parts. Wasn't impressed and won't be taking our kids back.

Hannah R

The Kentucky Science Museum is a great place for children, especially under age 12. My kids loved the experience saying it was one of the best museums they have ever been to! The exhibits are very hands-on and interesting. Overall, a fantastic experience!

David Bjarnson

Plenty of activities for kids to do. Lots and great staff and volunteers.

Kenneth Rimmer

It's a great place to take the kids. They will have fun learning while playing.

Jeremiah Dixon

This place was great my family loved it and not a bad price for a season

Kenya Tyler

My kids have a great time whenever we come which is OFTEN! GREAT place to take your little ones and for family time of all ages. Many activities. Membership is cheap. I love it.

Ryan Manning

This place is great for kids and interesting for parents to interact with their kids. And the summer camps are amazing.

Robin Proffitt

Kids had a blast thank you Churchhill Downs for the Culture Passes!

Mary Grace Agullano

This was a great place to go. Everything was very interactive for the children and adults. I love that there was also an area for the infants and toddlers to explore.

Jeff Dix

Really great staff. Super friendly, really helpful, and they made the time spent thier that much better. If anyone's looking for a great place to go. Couldn't thank the staff enough. Don't know his name but alien hat guy was so great with the kids and Lily was wounderfull as well.

Mary Epstein

We had a wonderful time. Some of the exhibits are older and don't work, but as two adults embracing their childhood for $5.00 it was worth it (admission is 5.00 after 5.00 Friday/Saturday). The Science Center is geared for children so be prepared to dodge running toddlers and screaming grade schoolers. I really enjoyed observing kids enjoying Science.

J is

Better than Cincinnati Children's museum. Even after the renovations in Cincinnati. Way more for children and adults.

Sonya leigh

Love learning about science this place is great to take your kids :)

Jamey Fieler

We have been visiting for over 15 years. My older children 20 and 18, still beg me to take them down. So much to learn, so much to do, well worth the visit!

Jessica Wise

Staff did an amazing job doing the super genius birthday party! The kids had so much fun!

Andrew Downey

It's a science museum. Nothing about a museum of science is bad. Go here.

CHALLON SMITH

Love it it's a wonderful place to take your children and I have to admit I learned a lot myself

Rick Wilson

Realized our hotel didn't have a pool and had to keep the kids occupied for a few hours, this place was great. Friday and Saturday after 5 are only $5 per person.

Jennifer Hinton

Good for younger kids but got through it in 90 minutes with older kids.

Christina Johnson

Went with my boyfriend. We were too old to really get any enjoyment out of it. Didn't want to believe it was only for kids to be honest. But if you have children this would be a great place to take them. All the kids looked like they were having a lot of fun learning and playing. I was less than thrilled with the gift shop though. Not a lot of variety. Still want to give it 5 stars though because the actual science center looked great.

Leah Markley

The kids had a fun time but I was not impressed. I wish there was more interaction from the employees. The fort building exhibit was cool but the other children that were there were ruthless and would fight for what you had instead of playing along with you. We ended up just having to leave that area. We've been to multiple science museums and this was on the bottom of the list. I think everyone should at least go once but just know there are better science museums out there. I was so surprised a city like Louisville didn't have a better one.

Rick Stenftenagel

The venue was clean and not overcrowded. The kids had a lot of fun playing with all the different activities. The first floor was very much geared towards younger kids with the second floor geared towards the slightly older. Our 18 year old was having fun with it as well. Overall a good experience and enjoyable for the whole family.

Kim B

This is a great place to take young kids, especially when weather is less than ideal. We spent well over 3 hours here, and even though we rushed through a lot of things, we still didn't get to see everything my son was interested in. The price for a single day is a little high, but there's enough value in repeat visits for an annual membership to be worthwhile (though a bigger discount on parking would be nice). The primary target audience is young children (preschoolers and elementary school-age children), so there's limited appeal for babies, toddlers, and older children. There are things for those other groups, but it's probably not worth the cost of admission if you don't have kids from about 3-10 years old.

Julia Lavin

Very fun children's museum. We have been to several in the country and decided to visit this while visiting family. I love the improvements they have made since my childhood! My daughter had a great time on the first floor especially.

Jimbo Farrell

Flipping amazing. A must visit for any child!

Jason Pucket

Kids loved it! Parents enjoyed it. Something to do for every age.

Chris McGuire

Great science center. Lots of fun for kids and adults. Many interactive exhibits to keep the kids engaged.

Sara

Good place to go on a rainy day. Fun for the kids but seems like it’s the same things over and over. Some of the exhibits doesn’t seem to have to changed in YEARS. Some parts just seem old and worn out. Still a fun place to go but be prepared for the repetitiveness if you go more than once a year.

R're'l Ellis

Wonderful customer service, very detailed on how the children learn, helps the children love learning.

Crystal Mathews

Tons of fun, educational activities for kids, many of which are fun for adults too. There's water play, air play, and lots of stuff to build. I think it was better for it daughter when she was 5 years old, but she still has a great time now that she's 9, and some of the more advanced concepts made sense to her this time.

Allyce Zim

Amazing Science Center. We hope to visit again when we are in Kentucky again. Fun explosion each day. Educational, hands on, and very fun.

Natasa Sapkar

This place is wonderful for kids of all ages! We stopped Friday afternoon (on our way home to Chicagoland from Orlando) and had a fabulous time. Three floors of interactive, educational exhibits, with lots of room to maneuver a stroller. (We used the public parking lots on 8th and Market in lieu of their parking- more convenient) No real food options at the Center, but the museum district has several offerings within walking distance.

Brian Mullins

The family had a great time. Lots of interactive fun

Ally Walker-Mattingly

Very cool place with such sweet staff. My daughter, granddaughter, and I had such a wonderful time. Especially my 4 year old granddaughter! She is always asking when we are going back!!!

Airport Taxi, Limo & Shuttle LLC Phil Wells

GREAT PLACE TO SPEND TIME WITH YOUR KIDS. SO MUCH HANDS ON TIME AND NOT GLUED TO A PHONE OR TABLET!

Bryon Spaeth

Had a lot of fun with the family. Spent several hours there. Staff was great and made it even more enjoyable! Fun for hours for both our boys 5 and 8.

Brian Perkins

This is an amazing place for children of all ages to visit. I think it is a treasure for Louisville. The many times I have visited have always been great. This is a great place for our youth to learn and embrace science. The shows and exhibits are fantastic.

Amanda Marsal

Great field trip with second graders. I particularly liked the 3d Oceans film.

CosmicKitty

This place is a toddler’s paradise, but I couldn’t really recommend it to someone who doesn’t have children passed primary school. The vast majority of it is either playgrounds or exhibits aimed at a young age. There were some exhibits to be aimed at middle school audience, but it was hard to process the information when there’s so much screaming in the background. To be fair, they had a cool documentary that was shown, but it stuck out like a sore thumb. I would of been more forgiving of the place if it was named the Children’s Science Museum, but I thought that it would have something for everyone. In short, great for kids, poor for teens/adults.

Michelle Espinoza

We love the $5 after 5pm Friday and Saturday nights. It is the best kept secret in Louisville. There are so many interesting activities that our little ones never want to leave. This museum is enjoyable time and time again. It is interesting to watch how they interact more as they grow and develop. The water room is everyone’s favorite.

Pamela Britt-Smith

Love the experiment area, and kiddie area. Very educational and full of things to do.

Tanu SK

Lots of fun things to do for kids of all ages!! Perfect for a rainy day!

Danielle Titzer

We love this place. Some things were not working or being fixed but we still loved it. Staff very knowledgeable and willing to answer my preschoolers many questions.

Elizabeth Calloway

This place is pretty great for kids of all ages. we went for my sons 4th birthday and despite his very young age and low level of comprehension he loved it. He has always been the type of kid to tear things apart to see how they worked and ask questions about each component and then try to put it back together. This place is perfect for this type of curious child or toddler. It's also a fun but educational environment for children's parties of any kind. Don't miss out on this experience with your kid. Watching the wonder in their eyes is something you don't want to miss. The only thing i didn't like was that the frozen yogurt machine by the tables only accepted cards and not cash but i don't think that's owned by the science center so overall no complaints.

Austin Halsey

We enjoyed this place. Plenty to do for kids and inquisitive adults. We were overan by a field trip group that made it very chaotic due to the lack of supervision. Management should probably establish stricter rules about that scenario; families shouldn't be overwhelmed because a school is poorly managed. However, we still had a great time with our daughter there and would recommend it to others! Also, thank you for networking with other museums! We are from the Cincinnati area and loved the reciprocity agreement!

T.J Reynolds

Great place to take the kids for an hour, or for the whole day.

D Haban

The kids absolutely loved this place! They have reciprocity with many children's centers, so if you have a membership you may be able to get in free with your membership.

traveling panda

Came from out of state and this was one of the best science centers I've ever been to! We went after 5pm on a Friday so it was only 5 dollars!! It kept our 3 year old overly busy and the 13 year old also enjoyed her self as well as the group of adults we had! This place was awesome !

This used to be my favorite rainy day place to go when I was a child. Now that I have a child of my own, I am so glad that this museum still exists, and that they have made so many improvements, so that my son can have the same interactive, educational experience.

We attended an anniversary celebration this day. There is a dining area/party room available in the fourth floor of the science center that is well organized and had a great view of the river. The staff was cordial and efficient. Very enjoyable day!

It's fun but it does get boring quickly my daughter was over it after 45 min

tasha swift

It was a good place but more for kids 3 to 8 not much for older kids

Cierra Gates

In the 3 years we have been going none of the exhibits have changed and it shows. Everything is worn looking. So many things are visual and not much for my blind child to do with his sibling.

NICHOLAS WHITE

Love the science center I get a zoo pass every year so I can take my sons to the zoo and the science center so I can always help continue their minds to grow.

Daniel Rojahn

This place is so much fun! My kiddo especially loved the water learning area. He walked away partially soaked (even with an apron on) but it was worth it! Haha

Rick And Morty

Parking in the back for $8, paid $30 for 2 adults 1 kid. Hours of activities, ive only seen 1 station with a presentation from a worker on the second floor. Workers arent around to give kids turns or to enforce safety. Bathrooms didnt have A/C, very humid

Maya Snyder

Awesome indoor science and exploration center. If you'd like to take your child somewhere to avoid the hot sun, heavy rains and still have fun, this is a great place!

Bethany Tiesman

It is great, interactive, and my kids have always loved it here. My only wish is that they had more for older children to do.

Cate Sawyer

My kids had a blast here. The hourly science experiments are captivating and my kids still talk about it months later. (We live out of state.) Hope to return someday.

Kim Laun

What a great local museum for our kids to enjoy. We especially love to come here on rainy days. They are always changing the exhibits to have new things for the kids to enjoy. We have a pass with the zoo and it's the best deal in town!

Courtney Curtis

So much fun for kids of a wide age range, I have 4 kids, ages 2,4,8, and 12 and every one of them had an amazing time! 3 floors of fun and exploring with lots of exhibits to truly engage children. I felt the price was fair if you plan on spending a considerable about of time. Unfortunately we didn't have much time to explore, but I would definitely return and stay longer to really get my money's worth. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and was so happy with how well the upkeep and cleanliness is.

Larry Burke

Move of an interactive kids play area than a Museum, but my son loved it. Wished we had more time to spend there, but we had another event to get to.

Krissianne Xue

Fun! We really enjoyed spending time here exploring!! Lots for the kiddos to do! A must visit!

Diane Anderson

Our autistic son loved the backpacks you provided & the new UPS truck exhibit.

Megan R

We just had our wedding there today. The staff is VERY accommodating, they were flexible the whole time, solely concerned about our needs. Hannah Smith, the event coordinator for the KSC, is an absolutely amazing person. We're so grateful to her for her help with all of this stressful wedding planning. Thank you KSC staff, thank you for your part in a lovely wedding day!

Sharaun Davis

This science center was so entertaining! We me and my 8 and 13 year old) spent five full hours here and we're not board for a second. We all learned things we didn't know before spending a day here. We caught the IMAX, 3-D short film on Galapagos and it was outstanding.

Dj Talai

A few floors of fun. They've updated it in the recent years, whereas it had not been updated in some time. It is conjoined by a Subway, that is all there is to eat there though. The do have a imax 3-D. As well as building paper rockets and blasting them off.

Celina Ouellette

The kids had a blast. There were so many hands on activities. The staff were immensely knowledgeable and friendly. Even with a summer camp running around while we were there we had plenty of room to explore and learn.

Nicholas Riney

Had a great time with my son today but the ticket sales person was a miserable unfriendly person. This is a kid's place you should have friendly people representing your establishment.

Diane Lippelt-Dunnings

My granddaughter loves the science center. She always has the best time there, plus she's learning, & enjoying the science applications

Allen Blair

Great museum! My 6 and 8 year old girls had a blast. There was a rotating exhibit that provided supplies for children to build forts using PVC pipes and sheets/blankets. I found a metered parking spot on a nearby street. Also, there is a great coffee shop across the street.

Fun when I was in elementary school and still fun today
