One of the volunteers gave us a personal tour of the museum and pointed out lots of interests artifacts. This is a great little place to explore the area's Civil War history. Be sure to make a donation to help keep them open. I'll definitely return the next time I'm in Kentucky.

Short drive from I-75. Nice little tour with interesting history. Lots of memoriblia. You can tell a lot of effort was put into this spot.

Small museum but with a good story to tell. Use Google map to find. Park in church parking lot and walk to museum. Location of the Hooper battery during the Civil War. Live Civil War encampments are periodically displayed there. Recommended for Civil War buffs.

it's great to have something like this in the community gives people a sense of what it was like the those dark years. It's not a big venue but it's definitely worth your time I highly recommended
