REVIEWS OF Science City IN Kansas

Amanda Sisson

So much to see and do at Science City! We visit a couple times a month (we are Union Station members, it's free for us) and enjoy our time spent here. They have great exhibits for young minds to explore and learn! The Makers Studio and programs offered there are top notch! The staff is always helpful & knowledgeable and we enjoy interacting with them. It is a great place to spend the day with your family!

Char Tanner

My kids and I really enjoyed science city. And even better we were able to go for educator weekend. I really enjoyed the brain exhibits. The kids loved the outdoor equipment. Well, they really enjoyed it all. I was so pleased that even though many people enjoyed educator weekend it didn't feel too overcrowded. I was disappointed that all the planetarium spots were filled up, but we did go later in the day, so it was understandable. And enough stuff to fill our time. Loved that we were able to have a parking voucher.

Eli Mitchell

Good place to take your kids, of course, or to just walk around and reminisce on going there in elementary school. Bunch of fun exhibits. Plus there's a really fun outdoor-area. Does cost about $14 to get it, per person. Check out the rest of Union Station while you're there.

Caroline Garcia

So much to do! This did not disappoint. The activities are fun and interesting for kids and adults, and there's are more than enough to keep you entertained for several hours. Plan to pay for parking, though. $10 for 4 hours out in front of Union Station today, on a Saturday.

Joann Flores

It the greatest place to take family and friends I would. Go back. It was a great day with my daughter and grandsons

Tammie Rickabaugh

Well worth the money!! Plan on spending the day... there is soooo much to see and do... wear comfy shoes

MO Jo Mama

Love it used to have a pass but they changed the policy on the planetarium!!! My children and I watched a show every time we came to science city but know it costs too much for us to go consistently so we have us our pass as my kids get bored the whole day at science city and I get too tired. Wish they hadn't changed that.

Our 9 year old had a great time. We'll certainly be taking her again.

Janos Perkins

Science City in Union Station is a gem. It’s interactive for all ages. We opted to buy a membership (it was $80 for us to get in, the membership was $145). Several sections of the facility were under construction but that didn’t stop our littles from having a ton to do. Some favorite things included: the water table, the kinderlab, the train area, and even the entrance was interactive. The woman working the wristband area asked the kiddos lots of questions and really engaged them in good conversation.

Stevie Wheeler

We all loved this place money well spent.

iGoH Summ3rs

Kids had a great time very educational in a fun way, can't wait to go back

Mondo martinez

Very fun and interactive! Very up dated, reasonably priced, a lot to see and do!

jnbeersjr

Bill Casselman

This place is huge there is so much to do our grandsons loved it

Julz G

We love how they change out the learning activities. This week it’s all about the brain and DNA. They Kids love it.

Drew vanDyke

So much fun stuff to do. 5 hours wasn't enough.

Paula Rhodes

We went over spring break and took our 6 yr old grandson and 18 month old grandson. The older one had a lot of fun, but even the younger one had fun just walking around and seeing all the areas. Would definitely go back again.

Krista Winslow

Awesome. Our 16 and 3 year old both loved it!

Lyndsay Bahrke

Kept our whole family entertained! The price is reasonable and this place is packed with fun stuff. Definitely recommend from a Mom with kids age 7-13.

cody robinson

The whole experience is great for the kiddos. Lots of different exhibits that not only let the kids play but also challenges their minds. Highly recommend buying the season pass. This allows all the things to be much cheaper and not all the things can be completed in one trip.

Tetyana Beregovska

My daughter loves this place with lots of interesting things to do, explore, and learn. Highly recommend for families with kids

Michael Schill

My daughter has enjoyed Science City since she was a year old. I also was enthralled by the attractions, not simply from my daughter's clear joy. The attractions quantify and teach a variety of scientific concepts in an easily approachable manner.

Kelly Riely

We went to the Harry Potter event here and it was pretty fun with neat decorations, lots of activities, and a costume contest.

Nathan Green

Didn't think there could be this much fun while visiting from out of town. Kids had lots of fun activities and didn't want to leave.

the vloge family Lloyd

Science city is a good place to bring your kids my kids loved it

Beth Klein

Fantastic science museum for kids. Ours 2-10 loved it! Could have spent more than two hours there. 14 dollars each a little expensive.

Mary Nu

Always a fun and magical place took a disturbing turn today as a python close to the nature area had no water. The weather has been snowy and the nature area is under construction but there is no excuse for this oversight. We found someone to report this to but who knows how long it had been or when he was last fed. Live animals in this setting are a great responsibility and there needs to be much more comprehensive management here. On another note there are many features within the entire facility that are entirely inoperable or not working correctly. Many areas in need of repair or more knowledgeable staff.

Makinley Lancaster

Such a awesome place! We were there for 3 plus hours and we still wasnt able to look at everything! I would definitely reccommend! Well worth the money!

Char Tanner

maxwell gedzah

The entertainment and information will keep you there for hours it doesnt matter if you like science or not it's got GAMES and movies.

Rmabney2010

They have added an outdoor play area that's good for upper elementary age students to climb on. A shaded area for adults is a win in my book!

Ashley Amine

Love being members so we can go as much as we want! Such a fun place in KC!

Harold Miller

Pleaee bring your children here, the experience is top notch. Aside from great displays, informative explanations of every "station", and every button, lever, handle, etc. always working - the place is always sparkling clean. Every adult tries to keep up with the children but they themselves get distracted enjoying the hands-on fun. One suggestion: if you think you might go two or three times in a year do invest in the membership option. You won't be sorry. Great fun and learning for all!!

Christi B

So much fun, cannot wait to go back and explore some more with my kids!!

Matt Myslenski

My kids and I LOVE this place. I have a union station membership just so we can come here free (and we do at least once a month). There’s always so much to do! The kids can play indoors or out, they can dig, play games, build, get wet, go down slides, climb in and out of dark places - so much and so much more! I honestly can’t say enough great things about science city!

Darleen Clarke

You won’t go wrong going here. Everything is hands on. Ride a bike on a rope roof high!! Lear about animals, physics, water, optical illusions, light and soo much more. Oh and trains too! Make sure you take the time to go through and a leisurely pace so you don’t miss some of the hidden gems.

M. Ruth Velasquez

Awesome, awesome, awesome. So many new experiences. Entertained family from 3 years to 70. Ready to go again.

Larry Nelson Sr

Nice venue. Love that they have a public Maker Space.

Ashley Stoll

We love visiting Science City! There is something for all my kids, ages 2-10, to enjoy. They especially like the water world, building with the oversized blocks and the outdoor climbing structure. We all like the clean facility and friendly staff. The Makerspace gives us a good springboard for new creations.

Rory Colbert

Jessica Gerry

We love Science City. There is plenty to do to keep all 3 of my children (8, 4, 3) entertained. We each have a spot that is our favorite. I appreciate how they are always adding new things so that we never get bored.

chris gianunzio

As a science guru. I loved it even though it's designed more for the kidos (who also had a great time). Learned a lot and played some challenging brain games. There is lots more to in the surrounding location.

Treasa Cailleach

Good for kids of all ages. We have a teen and 2 toddlers and it was great fun for the whole family.

Marisa Gray

My granddaughter enjoyed her day at Science City so much that we were forced to return again the next day. It was a great learning opportunity and it also gave me a chance to find moments for adult refresh.

Harold Miller

Doug Schieszer

Love Science City and Union Station, always fun and educational for the kids! The Union Station membership is a great deal.

Greg N

So much to see and do; amazing exibits; wonderful, friendly staff; and perfect place to present it- Kansas City Union station

Sharon Paz

So much fun for the whole family. There is so much to do and see, so worth it. It does take all day to do everything and see everything without rushing, so pack some snacks. Has great photo ops. If you have children this is a must-go. (Really clean restrooms)

Roger Krauser

I always thought of this as a kids place. I finally took my grandchildren. They loved it. It is mainly for children, but I had a lot of fun and learned a lot at the same time. There is a play area outside and inside. They can stand in the middle of a very small "tornado" and feel how the wind moves around them. They can make things, play with things, learn about energy, folcrums, water movement, ride a bike up in the air, play in a helicopter and more.

Alicia Carff

So much fun! There's no free parking, so we only had 2 hours to explore, and the kids didn't want to leave!

Vilma Bonilla

Historic train station with classic architecture. High vaulted ceiling. Big space with many entertainment options for families including theaters, restaurants, shops, science center and museum. It connects to a hotel via an indoor sky bridge.

Kelly Lada

This place is amazing!! So much to do and so much fun. The only bad part was the hundreds of kids from summer camp. When there are so many kids and only a couple adults it makes for rude kids. There should not be so many camps allowed at one time.

John Pautz

Granddaughter and I had a great time. Alot of different activities. Will do it again.

Jenna LaMaster

Science city is so fun for the kids! We have the annual pass and have gone many times now. There’s plenty to keep all age groups entertained— it’s always busy there!

Michael Theobald

Great activities for the young and old. Just have fun.

Mary Reas-Oden

Super interactive, fun, and educational (if you take the time to look at signs

Cody Franklin

I'm almost 35 I took the day off to go with my daughter and wife on a field trip haven't been since 2000 on a field trip. I learned quite a bit of stuff the girls had fun it was awesome I would go back anytime.

Rose Red

Was a super cool place, seemed like an awesome place for children however when we were buying tickets and asking what exhibit would be best for us (23+ year old couple) the woman directed us there declining to mention that it was for children 12 and under. It looked fun and interesting but would have been better if we had our god children and had exhibits that were adult sized...

Elizabeth Humburg

Very high-quality, fun exhibits. I also like that there's always something new in the works.

Matthew Kowalski

Great exhibit with a lot of fun things for the kids to do!

James Lynn

Awesome place for the kids!! Interactive learning while having fun!! Affordable fun for hours!!

Anthony Zuccarini

This place is truly amazing. Our boys love going. Great that KC has something like this.

Catherine Wheatley

We were very excited for our experience. However, there was an exhibits that was closed completely and there was no indication online. I plugged the animal experience into our time there and unfortunately let down and our students were too. If there is a way to indicate that the animal exhibit is under construction that would be helpful in giving a heads up to teachers who have planned out their time there down to a specific science.

Anne Schofield

Lots to do, the kids were happy for 3+ hours, even the 15 year old. The best part is how open everything is, so I could let kids move on to nearby exhibits while I stayed with smaller kids and still keep an eye on them.

Christopher M Overton

A visit to Union Station could be enough. Science City offers a great visit for family and kids alike.

Daniel Hartz

Awesome place for kids and adults. So much to do and very interactive so the kids have more than enough to keep them interested.

kelsey Walton

We love going to Science City. Gives the kids a lot of chances to explore, learn and wear out Some energy. Recommended for all families.

Jennifer Taylor

I have never been to the science center in KC and not only did my 2yr old son have a blast, both my husband and I did also. I felt like a kid all over again. The outdoor playground was so cool, I've never seen anything like it. We made so many wonderful memories. This is a must in KC if you have little ones, I know we will be back again!

katikatt87

Wow, what's not to love? There is literal hours of fun to be had here. Plenty of things to entertain and educate all age levels. It's beautifully thought out and worth the price.

Native Texan

You can easily spend a full day there so at a minimum, allocate at least four or five hours to your visit.

Shauna Anderson

Great museum, with enough fun and appealing exhibits to keep ages 4 and up busy for several hours. My only criticism is it is a little hard to figure out exactly what is involved in each exhibit at the museum before you go. I like to do that because my 2nd grader is not going to understand everything at the level it is explained on the plaques at a museum. If I know how the exhibits are setup before going I can explain the concepts at her level before going and she gets a lot more out of the experience.

Zachariah Hayes

The boys love it. Lots of things to do.

Joshua Mathews

Lots if fun stuff for a pretty broad age range. Mostly elementary and junior high kids. Outside section was a blast. Lots to do. Needs a few hours.

Kasha Oetinger

I coordinated a field trip for our school and the entire process was so easy from start to finish. The staff was so easy to work with, answered all my questions and accommodated us perfectly. We will most definitely recommend Science City to our colleagues who are looking for a hands-on field trip that kept the kids engaged the ENTIRE time (the adults too).

Billy Wales

There aren't too many values like Union Station and Science City in KC. We've purchased the family season pass for a few years now and it's such a great value for many reasons. The Christmas season has so much to offer and it's a lot more fun NOT having to pay for every train ride and it's so beautiful down there. The Science City value is worth every penny and each time we go we discover something new. I'm over 40 and it's amazing to me as well.

Louann Wrisinger

Fun place to take my grandkids! Love it!

paula bryson

Great family fun my grandsons and I go to Union Station and science city as often as we can they love everything!

Ray Willard

Great place for kids of all ages!

Brice Willson

Very fun place in historical Union Station. Great place to spend at least a couple of hours or more. A couple of different playground type areas. An entire outdoor area with activities and playground type equipment. MANY hands-on exhibits fun for kids and adults. You get in FREE with a Union Station membership. We have been 2 times with great experiences.

Nick Hernandez

We love union station! Science city is cool and fun for adults and children. There is not a ton to do for toddlers and the price is a bit high, but overall a really cool place to spend a few hours.

Sam Morton

This place is absolutely incredible. Great for kids but actually really fun for parents who like physics, too. A must go!

Bobby Smith

We haven't been here in three years but won free tickets to go check it out. Now we have two out of three kids in the age groups to do the things around there but my only complaint is how overly crowded it was.other than that they've done amazing things with the place and there's tons of things to do with your children in fact we intend to go one more time so we can finish the other half of the things we didn't do. Great environment great employees terrible parking but all in all four out of five

Bilki Vaneps

Really fun place for kids to explore and learn about science!

Warren

I have been to several children's museums. This is the best children's museum. My kids love it. Every time we are in KC we stop at the Union Station so the kids can explore and play at Science City. Also we like the planetarium. We usually spend several hours here. It's fun and educational.

Paul Garrison

This I guess is where they have exhibitions in Union Station now. The ticket booth and entry area were set up next to each other and worked well. The exhibition space is wonderful, I saw an exhibition about Stonehenge. They have a big pull down screen with a little seating and then a series of connected rooms and spaces. Everything was too notch concerning the facilities and I found the presentation about Stonehenge to be very interesting also. Quite a nice experience within Union station which has changed so drastically nover the years.

Derek Dunbar

Kept the kids actively discovering all day long, and we didn't even get to do all of it!

Val Gillilan

All three of my kids (ages 5-11) love Science City! We specifically came to KC for this amazing place. We ended up spending 6 hours exploring.

Christina Maenle

Gets better every year with ongoing upgrades, events and activities for all ages. Hands on, ears up and eyes wide open for this local must-do. For locals, the annual pass makes this a lifesaver for rainy, too-hot, or too-cold days with the whole family. Near great restaurants and the biggest movie screen in KC. Love it!

Chelle Hall

There is so much to do, no chance of getting bored here! Went on a field trip and we didn't even have enough time to do everything. Can't wait to take my whole family.

Natasha Roseberry

Teacher Appreciation weekend was wonderful. Thank you!

Mirroria C

This place is awesome! You definitely need a full day to fully appreciate everything. I would definitely recommend this for school-age children, not so much for toddlers. I would also suggest that you come on an off-day during an off our because it could get very very crowded.

Clint Miller

Busy place, lots of kids and adults makes It less enjoyed.

Scott Bennett

Fantastic children's museum with fun things for younger and older kids

Teresa K. Pahinui

We loved it there, only thing is the price said on the internet it was $13.50, in there $14.50

Linda Williams

Some recent upgrades but some exhibits still are closed or have things that don't work. In spite of that, the outdoor area is great for toddlers through tweens and the planetarium, Stonehenge and Brain exhibits made for a great visit.

Denise Tounzen

This place is so fun! Bring the kids or grandkids for hands-on science fun. They can dig for fossils, ride a sky bike, play with water (hydrolics), look at optical illusions, ride a mini Zipline, and more. Even this ol' lady rode the Zipline!

Echo Kennedy

This place is great for kids and adults. The hands on, interactive concept is awesome to make learning fun for the young ones.

Branden Johnson

Great place for kids. No crowds on week days.

Corey Whitworth

An expansive science museum for kids and tweens with a great deal of hands on activities. Multi leveled and even an outdoor activity area, it offers a good afternoons worth of fun for children. The prices are very reasonable, however be prepared to have snacks and drinks on hand as there is no food offered inside and only a drink/pop machine. There is food nearby in Union Station. It's easier to enter the facility from the lower level through the group entrance rather than the upper level which makes you fight through the gift shop crowd to get through.

David Stewart

Great place to take the family for a day. Great wintertime activity.

Katie Ramsey

We became members of Union Station mainly so that we can visit Science City as often as we like. Each time my kids find one or two activities and make them their main focus of our visit, so each time is a little different.

Melissa Wilson

Love this place awesome for kids and adults Makes us adults also feel like a kid too and that make more fun for both

Barbara Burd

Science City is a must see in Kansas City. There are so many interesting and educational opportunities. My grandsons, ages 6 and 7,had a ball exploring all the different areas. We had the opportunity to visit the dinosaur exhibit which was amazing. They could have spent hours in the outside area playing in the equipment and learning about gravity and force. Highly recommend.

Brent Greiner

Kids love it. I would recommend it for kids of all ages

A'one an the food monster TV

Went for school field trip had a blast with the kiddos

Hyemi Lee Jones

great place for a family with children of various age group. It is impossible to look through the place in a day. There are so many things to enjoy!!! I am glad we got the membership and we can visit multiple times to fully appreciate what it can offer. They also have different events and programs for different dates.

Ann Engel

Very, very nice place and a lot to see and do. Hands on experiences and very informative signage. The play area outside was really cool and had equipment you don't see very often. Totally worth the ticket as you most definitely get your money's worth. We rode the street car (free) and that made it easy to access as well.

Eric Walters

What a wonderful place to take the kids to experience science and have fun.

Nick Will

Excellent museum.. fun for the whole family... great jewel for kc!

Vanya Ivanova

We have been members for 5 years now and my kids absolutely love going to Science City and the Union Station. If you have the membership, you get 10% off at the shops. Wish parking was free for members!

Cherie Curtis

This place is amazing! My kids absolutely love it and we’ve been several times, since we bought a membership. The new brain exhibit is very cool.

Skyler Quintanilla

This place was great! Kids loved it. We had so much I didn't take a lot of pictures. Definitely coming back.

James Catlin

Great atmosphere. Loved the Stonehenge exhibit!

Alaena Mallory

1st time visit. The kids had so much fun visiting Santa and going through the train. The event was well organized. I will definitely have to make this a tradition. I love Union Station during the holidays, you can tell they put a lot of effort into Christmas and it is well appreciated. What I didn't appreciate was having to pay $10 for parking when usually you pay by the time you are there, in my case we were there an hour.

Caitlin Stone

My boys loved it. And the Santa exhibit was very fun!

Melissa Mcculloch

What a great place for kids to hang out! My 10 year old son was enamoured with almost every exhibit! Even mom and dad found the inner child to enjoy experiments.

Steph Kendrick

I love it here. A fun way to learn! Super cool!!

Amy Gao

SO much too see and do! My son is still a little to young to appreciate all of the awesome, but he loves it anyway. We could spend days here and never get bored!

Zan McKinney

Great way to waste your kids time, in the best possible sense. A family and friends memebrship to Union Station for 4 people is less than $100 and the year long free entry into Science City is worth that alone. There are so many activities and play areas inside that even in the cold dreary winter months when you can seem to get the kids out of the house to play, you can go there and let them get lost in play for a couple hours easily. Best part is most of the play areas have educational components so you can feel good about your devotion to making your child a better, smarter version of themselves while they play. Its like sneaking vegetables into their fruit smoothie, or at least giving them frozen yogurt instead of straight ice cream.

Mary Ann Jones

Great educational and fun place for kids. Outdoor play area fantastic. Model trains at Union Station a real treat.

R Brooks

The kids loved the many interactive activities. Admission might seem a little costly for a family. Still worth visiting.

Carrie Schuenemeyer

We always have fun at Science City. Great place to spend the afternoon or bring your visiting friends and family.

Nathan Jelinek

This was by far one of my most favorite stops. I’ve been looking for something THIS level of hands on for years and I was not disappointed. I highly recommend anyone to stop and visit. Kids absolutely love it and so do I. Fun for the whole family.

Emily Amador

Great place for my 3 year old daughter and my 9 year old niece!! They loved everything here! There is plenty of stuff for everyone which is awesome if you have children of different age groups. We were visiting from SC and were blown away with this place. There is nothing like this anywhere. If your debating on spending money on the admission I promise you won't regret it! If anything I can promise you your kids will sleep like a baby after running around this place for hours!!!

Hannah Bowen

This place was amazing. We were so surprised to find this at a union station. Your kids will have so much fun and so will you. There are activities for every kind of thinker and doer. The price was worth it. Under 2 are free. The gift shop was amazing too so much awesome science stuff.

Warren

I have been to several children's museums. This is the best children's museum. My kids love it. Every time we are in KC we stop at the Union Station so the kids can explore and play at Science City. Also we like the planetarium. We usually spend several hours here. It's fun and educational.

BTheEPIC

This place is amazing for any age! There is so much to do and such fun activities as well. - There are activities such as the sky bike. You ride the bike across a rope. It’s completely safe because they put a harness on you so you can’t fall off. - There are also tons of slides and tons of things to play with, amazing for the kids!

Cara McCarty

First time visit from out of town, we had a great time! Our kids are 13, 3, and 2 and they all had a good time.

Sue Jo

Your kids will LOVE all of the fun to be had here!

Heather Rosenberg

Great family fun! Lots of learning and hands on activities! Bathroom also has a changing table which is a big plus in my book!

seemel8er creek

So many cool things to see and do! I was worried the kids might be too old for the activities (11, 13, 15) but we all had a blast.

Anna Milton

We had a really great time...all the kids had fun.

Janet Weston

Amazing hands-on learning experiences! Ideal for 3-13 years old.

Brenda George

My Grandson who is 9 had a blast..a must see for sure❣

Paul Garrison

This I guess is where they have exhibitions in Union Station now. The ticket booth and entry area were set up next to each other and worked well. The exhibition space is wonderful, I saw an exhibition about Stonehenge. They have a big pull down screen with a little seating and then a series of connected rooms and spaces. Quite a nice experience within Union station which has changed so drastically nover the years.

Jess D

We had a blast! Union station is beautiful. Tucked inside is Science city, an incredible, multilevel science center. My big kids had fun, my little guy didn't want to leave! We loved playing checkers on the oversized board. The little guy enjoyed digging for dinosaur bones and spent a long time building a marble tunnel on the magnetic wall. Overall, a great center, lots of fun for all ages!

Nine2-5traveler

I've always known my inner child existed, but didn't realize how close to the surface he is :) The Science Centre is full of amazing, intellectual, fun and engaging activities that bring this out in people. From brain teasers to fossils, and from city water systems to voice control...this place had all of it. They literally had to escort me out because I stayed past closing.

Shannon Holweger

Do much to do. My 9 yr old loved it.

Mai Bui

This place is amazing, good for kids and family. We can spend the whole day here and my daughter does not want to leave.

Kassandra Peasley

Took my two oldest today and we had a blast

J Donny

Science was great! Union station offers so much and our wrist bands allowed us to go in and out to explore other things in union station. My kids loved the water part and outside. It was so interactive. We went Labor Day and it wasn’t crowed. They had the best time. We will definitely be back!!!

Emily Legg

It says that they close at 5 but nothing about how they stop selling tickets early. I got here at 4 and they were no longer selling tickets. To top it off parking was $10 instead of the regular hourly deal they usually have. So I got to pay 10 bucks to look at the model train exhibit with my 2 year old. At least he enjoyed all the trains

Callie Cain

Our school had such a blast at Science City! The morning was busy, but after lunch was a great time for the kids to really spend time in one area at a time. They loved the water section and experimenting with cause and effect. Definitely recommend anyone with elementary students to check it out!

Leah Henderson

We spent a good 3 plus hours here with all 4 kids ages ranging 2 to 10 and everyone had a blast!

Bailey Vails

Great and educational way to keep cool during the summer. Last time we went Siena got to pet a snake. She loved it!

Nicole Medley

We love Science City. Kids are 11, 10, and 4. We all have a great time. Yearly membership is a great deal.

Kathy Moore

We spent about two hours here with 3 children ages 8 and under, and they had a blast. Lots of fun activities both inside and outside. Enjoyed the element of learning that in included in everything. I was a bit disappointed that the price point wasn't lower for children, and the fact that there is no military discount is disappointing. This is a super fantastic interactive science experience! Allow at least 3 hours to experience it fully, and don’t forget to stop by Rocky Mountain Chocolate for ice cream on the way out!

Chris Harper

Visited with daughters school trip...first visit for me. It was fun and educational. There's so much to do, so much to see. I would go again, without question

So this is a wonderful science museum. While obviously it is a great destination for families, the adults in the group won't be bored (unless they want to be). What makes it even better is that they have recently been revamping areas and making it so that it isn't the same experience year after year.

This is a great place to take kiddos. However I recommend avoiding on weekends as it gets pretty crowded. Plus parking is like $10 and it’s hard to even find a spot. There were lines for everything at science city, we only stayed a few hours on a Saturday because it was just so busy. The kids had a good time, and I’m glad we went. I however wish that you guys stayed open later than 5. That seems so early on a weekend! Highly recommend! Tons of fun for the kiddos, and lots of learning! :)

We had a great time hosting our son's 6th birthday party at Science City. The staff was organized, easy to work with, before and during our party. We were able to join one of the workshops and that staff member was extremely accommodating for some of our younger boys that took a little longer. All of the different activities were great for the kids to explore. I would recommend them for parties to anyone.

Greg Myers

Very cool museum and bonus that it has a reciprocal membership with exploration place in Wichita! We were able to get in free and could have spent all day there.

Ana Lía Maradiaga de Hernandez

Amazing experience. We enjoyed every exhibit. We missed the animals and makerspace but this just means we will have to be back and check out the renovations. Enjoyed the new brain exhibit too.

Kassandra Peasley

Took my two oldest today and we had a blast

Michelle Quintero

Love Science City and all the new gadgets and displays they've added!

Allen Lindholt

The only thing that I wish Science City would have is a "field trip calendar". I love taking my kids there, but I will be sure to avoid days that have 5 schools there. It is simply overwhelming. I would love to plan my trip around school trips.

Destiny Deal

Love science city learning lots while having fun!! Union station is always a great place to visit. A must if you have kids they will love it!!

Garrett Hartman

Not the most exciting thing for parents but enough things to keep you busy as well, but the sheer amount of different things for your kid to do here is staggering. It will help them become interested in science in fun and interactive ways. Definitely worth a visit as a place to take your kids.

Matt Griffith

Nice museum, though the target audience seems to be kids but either there wasn't great information or it was not really explained at a kid level. It ended up being a lot of just going from one station to another, and doing something vaguely science related. The Planetarium was closer to the mark, with the Magic Treehouse show. Good and fun, but not amazing.

I have to kids who are not close in age I really appreciate that this place could accommodate my toddler and my 7 year old all at the same time. We went during the week and it was not that busy which was a plus. I did get the membership because my kids enjoyed their self so much. We will back soon this place was awesome.

Nicole Mark

Such a fun family attraction. Things to keep all ages minds and hands busy.

Tiffany Simmons

Great for the kids. They loved it. A lot of cool things to do and see. Good price for all you can do and see

Mark Robison

This is such a wonderful place for families and kids of all ages. The entire place is hands on and there are activities galore. If you are from the area and plan on going more than once, for a family of 4, getting a Union Station membership (which includes free access to Science City) pays for itself in 2 trips. Definitely a place for fun and learning!

Amanda Abrahams

A really fun and interactive place to bring your kids! The best part was our Exploration Place membership got us in for free!!

Charles Harbour

A great place for kids of all ages. They're constantly adding new interactive exhibits. Love the new artsy attractions!

J Donny

Science was great! Union station offers so much and our wrist bands allowed us to go in and out to explore other things in union station. My kids loved the water part and outside. It was so interactive. We went Labor Day and it wasn’t crowed. They had the best time. We will definitely be back!!!

Joe Gehrer

Fun for the kids. Not more than a 2 hour trip though. Unless you catch a show in the planetarium.

robert jennings

Fantastic place to take your young children and grandchildren. Can spend almost the whole day. Just don't try to leave during rush hour. Too much confusion going on.

Eheart Polarbear

Most fun for kids aged 1-11 the newest outside attraction is cool, the Zipline thing was my favorite. The skybike was awesome, along with the new senses section! A lie detector test, soundproof room for sound illusions, reaction time tester, etc..

Beverly Gearey

We had a great time here. We spent a few hours here and still did not do everything. Well worth the visit!

Darick Hemphill

Lost of cool things to do. Family loved it. Food prices were high, so we ate elsewhere.

Melissa

The place as a whole is excellent, wish we would have went on a day without so many schools coming at the same time

Eric Gustafson

Great place for kids, I enjoyed the puzzles and other things as well. If you earned too have fun and learn something this is the place good for children and adults tons to do inside and outside. Definitely worth a visit.

Science city is always an adventure, especially for my little one. As she is growing, she is finding more and more interest in the variety of experimentation and exploration involved with this place. We have a season pass and recommend that to anyone planning on going more than 4 times. We are going to have my daughter's birthday here (discounted with season pass) and I'll try to update about that experience. This place is simply a good time for all, even adults.

Erin Kuchenrither

Great place for the kids. So much hands on activities!

Heather Jones

This is a great place to bring your children but your best bet is to let them run along while you stand guard by the exit to make sure they don't escape. There are so many children going so many different directions. My kids learned so much which really surprised me since it felt like they spent less than ten seconds at any one place before running to the next, but they are such sponges at this age. My favorite was the water table area, there is a bench inside the area and it is somewhat enclosed; and better yet, the kids spent five whole minutes in that area.

Kendall Anderson

Great place for a field trip. Highly suggest paying a little extra to eat in the lunch space with plenty of room and storage for coolers. My students had a blast!

Angela Miner

What a fun experience! The treehouse, water exhibit & miniature town were our daughter's favorites. We had a blast!

Randy Leber

Awesome experience for the kids, and the wife and I had a good time also.

Kindofanerd

Amazing experience for kids staff are so helpful and you can spend hours here and have so much to do!!

Brooke Reid

We recently bought a membership and could not be more happy with it. I have two toddlers (3 1/2 & 1 1/2) there is PLENTY for them to do but it is most definitely not a baby place. I look forward to my kids growing up in science city. Just yesterday I saw a whole family (teenagers included) genuinely enjoying some of the ‘brain games’. It is a great time with inside and outside activities, an awesome gift shop and a bonus walk thru historic union station! *FYI* only water is allowed in so treat yourself to a delicious coffee at Parisi on your way OUT...otherwise you will have to chug that latte before you go in
