Very nice museum focusing on Mennonite history. Well designed exhibits also including stuffed animals native to the area. I grewup going to the museum and I've always enjoyed the traditional dioramas as well.

One of the icons of Newton, a grand history of our people in this area as far back as we can go, and the wildlife. They really cover a lot of bases and very impressive. Chuck Regier I know has been personally creating most of the exhibits with a staff that has all the experience you could imagine at a great Museum.

This museum is a treasure to have in North Newton, Kansas. It has a rich showcase of artifacts from long ago in Kansas as well as animals and artifacts from other lands. It usually has a travelling display as well. We are lucky to have such a treat nearby. There are other buildings on the property that can be toured as well. Plan to spend extended time to see it all.

This is a treasure and it was super great to be able to visit and experience the life they presented of early pioneer families and people on the plains. Our family had donated the Fast-Unruh house and it was amazing to be there with family that remembered living in there and explaining what life was like.
