Skycycle!!! Good lord this place is cool! Man when we were kids Evel Knievel was it, there was nobody else. This museum is very well done, great displays of his bikes and the incredible cannot be believed Skycycle. Fun jump simulator too! Great Harley dealer and restaurant in the same building and they have a nice vintage Harley display as well. If you are a kid of the 60's and 70's, this is a can't miss.

Codi Cameron

Highly recommend! Friendly staff and the food is delicious. We will definitely stop again!

Cameron Campbell

It was actually a really cool Museum. It's not a huge Museum, but if you stop and read all the exhibits and watch the movies it'll probably take you about two hours to go through. When you get to the second floor there's two or three interactive computer screens on the wall, they have some really cool information that you can explore. Make sure you keep some of your mind at attention when you get up there. And ride the 3D cycle Adventure. There was cool

Jesse Downing

$15 bucks adult admission. We didn't know much about Evel going in, but experienced an entertaining couple of hours at this museum. Excellent collection of memorabilia, including original bikes and jumpsuits. The "4-D" experience, for an additional $5, is highly recommended.

Owen Shotts

This museum gives the legend the justice and recognition he deserves.

Angela Bustamante

Belle Gray

Excellent museum of Evel Knievel's life. Very interesting!!

John Thaemlitz

All my hero's wore capes. It's almost as good as Graceland. Has a really nice collection of Evels events. Also a lot of factual reading about the jumps and friends that helped him with his stunts.

Janet Moss

This is a fun museum. Evel was quite the character.

James Leichter

We were passing through and had some time to kill so we thought we would try this Museum. I'm a moderate Evel Knievel fan and my wife, I think, could care less. However, we really loved the museum. The museum is beneath a Harley-Davidson store. We went into the Harley-Davidson store first and were greeted by some very friendly people. Kevin showed us around and he was a super cool guy. I didn't need a Harley, but if I had, I definitely would buy from that guy. Anyway, we went downstairs to the museum and had a good time. I would recommend paying a little more and doing the 4D motorcycle jump. My favorite part was actually the medicine cabinet. That's right. There's a little medicine cabinet showing all the different drugs that Evel took. My second favorite thing was probably the truck that belong to Evel. The story of how they restored it was amazing. I included a picture of my favorite Evel Knievel toy when I was a kid. I guess I was a pretty big fan at one time.

jenny Smith

cool place really nice staff

Kim Jamison

We were looking forward to coming here and this museum doesn't disappoint. Free pictures when we first came in and we loved the virtual reality motorcycle jump. Well worth the extra 5 dollars. It was cool. They did an amazing job putting everything together. I highly recommend seeing this museum. All of us were impressed.

Alyssa Huerta

Absolutely amazing. There's so much to look at and learn about. It has two floors: one with exhibits, videos, and tons of information and the other has lots of interactive options (even a VR experience) Definitely worth a return trip.

David Scherer

We did the tour and he was awesome. He did a great job. Thank you.

William Lickfield

Interesting museum

Shannon Lewis

Love the Harley Shop and Evel Knievel Museum! Fun place to shop or just look around.

Joseph Schmidt

This place was amazing. I always enjoy finding the awesome little spots in my home state of Kansas. Finding the connection between Evel Knievel and Topeka, Kansas was absolutely fascinating. I had no idea he had played the Kansas State Fair. It was interesting to find out he got into a brawl with the Hells Angels motorcycle gang. This gentleman suffered a ton of injuries. They had them listed per crash and a video of two that were blood curdling to watch. His commitment to his craft was awe-inspiring. There is also a virtual reality jump that puts you in a stunt. So real.

Susan Wanner

Museum was very interesting. It was designed very well. Staff was excellent. Highly recommend seeing this museum. AAA+

Jeremy Price

Definitely a must see! Loved the jump!

Michael Zuercher

Great museum, lots of original stuff. Well worth the money. Staff is very knowledgeable as well, great people. The restaurant has good BBQ but I'd avoid the potato salad.

Julie Pishny

Evel Knievel Museum is a must see for all ages. Interactive displays, movie theater, virtual reality motorcycle jump experience, motorcycles, memorabilia and videos of all of his jumps and crashes. I took my niece and nephew and they loved it.

Jason Denny

This place is amazing. So much to look at. Thank you for putting the collection together.

Dani Graham

What an awesome place! The displays are beautiful and so educational. Don't skip the virtual ride...it's so fun and completely worth the small extra fee.

Timothy Kelly

An amazing experience for all, even my kids had a blast! This is a VERY high quality museum that is more than worth a visit. Tracks Evel's career and life from the beginning to the end, with more memorabilia and actual items from his life than can be imagined. Awesome people, awesome place and tons of fun!

Paula Dalton

Neat place with plenty to look at. We spent about 2.5 hours there but we read everything.

David Roach

Wayne Hartley

Took the tour at the museum and learned many new and interesting facts. Thetour guide did an excellent job. As we were preparing to return home, he was leaving the museum and offered to ride part of the way with our small group. He went far beyond expectations to make us feel welcome and led us on an awesome ride.

DAVID Burns

Very interesting. Well done museum Be sure to do the jump

Matthew Crysler

Hours changed and not reflected on their website. Drove all that way on Sunday to find they closed. Posted hour change to google maps to prevent someone else being disappointed.

Brian Brose

Very cool place

LAWRENCE HANSEN

One of the best museums I’ve ever been to. Incredible collection and very well presented. Very knowledgeable staff.

Joe De Cordoba

A trip down memory lane and a great opportunity to learn all sorts of facts and insights that I never would have known about Evel Knievel. Lots of old motorcycles and paraphernalia on display for the motorcycle enthusiasts. A great way to sirens a couple of hours.

Adrian Sanders

Excellent museum! Everything was as advertised with outstanding pieces and exhibits. I highly recommend the $5 for the virtual reality jump. There was another review that dogged the museum’s prices, which I disagree with. They do offer a veteran discount and the total for my wife and I was well worth it!!!

Dougie Fresh

Unbelievably awesome..... I wish I could live in Big Red....the jump was awesome and only $5. If you don't go your missing out, so grateful to have this near KC. All employees are crazy nice, gift shop lady is sweet as pie. Can't wait to go back.

Jack Gray

Great place. I enjoyed it from the moment I walked in and was greeted by the friendly lady at the front desk. The exhibits are like taking a trip down memory lane. Lots of great memories of the various jumps that are documented there. It was also fun to see the collection of vintage Evel Knievel merchandise; I quickly spotted the wind-up stunt cycle and lunch box that I had in grade school. There are a handful of employees along the tour route that are eager to answer questions and point out features of the interactive displays. This museum is an asset to the city of Topeka. If you were a fan of Evel Knievel when you were young you owe it to yourself to pay this place a visit.

Cynthia Ulin

The museum is well worth a visit, tons of memorabilia and so many videos to enjoy. The staff and volunteers were wonderful and we really enjoyed listening to them. It brought back many memories for my husband and I as we grew up in a time when Evel Knievel seemed to be everywhere!

Spencer .

The staff here were exceptionally friendly. The exhibits were visually interesting with the perfect balance of information to display. There were several interactive exhibits that brought the history to life upstairs. I will definitely be going back to finish viewing all of the things there.

scott florence

The staff was very helpful and the exhibit was very well put together. Being a young boy when Evel was in his hey day made it even more cool. The bike jump was fun as well.

Jason dilts

Lots of information and unexpected items on display. Took about 2 hours to get completely through. Very interesting museum.

J L

Rvers, there is parking access in their lot at the bottom of the hill, but limited. This Place is a must see. My kids loved it. There is also a restaurant. The pulled pork sandwiches were great, and the potato salad too. The best entrance for the museum is from the Harley shop. Take a right and head downstairs at the restaurant entrance to see a few rare bikes. Continue through the hall and then go right outside. No food or drinks allowed in the Museum.

Latasha Harris

I just got back from spending a few hours at the museum. This place is top notch and your experience starts with the knowledgeable and friendly staff that greets you at the front door. I was pleasantly surprised at the layout of this place. The exhibits are top notch and are on par with major big city museums. I would highly recommend this place for everyone of every age. The virtual reality jump was amazing. The rebuild of Evel’s iconic Mack truck was amazing. There were so many interactive exhibits and it was great to be able to get up close to so many of his motorcycles.

Frank Hodel

Man, what a treat, one of my childhood heroes. If you're in the area, stop by and go back in history. They've done a terrific job with this museum, 5 stars from me!

Our daughter had a soccer tournament in Topeka with an 8-hour break in between games. Cue the Evel Knievel Museum. Best $15 ever. The staff, especially the tour guide, were amazing and knowledgeable. A must see. Memories, man.

Michele Mitchell

I had a great time visiting the Even Knievel museum. It was way better than I would have ever imagined. I knew about the museum from my parents who visited last year and loved it and from a presentation the directors of the museum gave when they accepted an industry award. I only planned to stay for about an hour but ended up staying much longer. The museum is well paced with lots of interesting facts, videos and memorabilia. The VR jump experience is really fun as well. Definitely recommend including that in your ticket purchase. The staff could not have been nicer. They were welcoming and provided great information!

Jen Miller

Glad we stopped! Nice museum with several cool, interactive features.

Cody Webster

Neat place, self pace.

Bill Corey

Great place to visit if you grew up watching his jumps! A lot of behind the scenes history!

Awesome museum. So much to see and learn. Also the food at the bbq place in the building was awesome. A must see experience.

Thomas Rigg

This an unbelievable and fine museum. You don't have to like motorcycles or anything related to them. It is about the man and his love for daring stunts and self promotion. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Eric Willock

Great information, awesome experience, loved it.

Dean Popielski

What a pleasant surprise this was. Had no idea this place even existed. If you are a 70's child, you owe it to yerrself to feel like a kid again and check this joint out

Sean Hill

If you were born this century then you have heard of Evel Knievel. You might not know he has his own museum. Go there if you can. It was one of the best museums I have ever been to. They had tons of videos to go along with there displays, so you can read about his jumps and then see them. They had some of his bikes there, his custom Cadillac, and his semi truck. You can pay a little extra and do a simulated jump. I highly suggest it. There was a man that was walking around greeting everyone named Joe. Make sure you talk to him, he is full of fun info that is not written on the walls. Joe is the man. Afterwards, make sure you get something from the gift shop.

Cheryl Jones

It was set up very nicely. I would definitely recommend it

Judy Lewis

This place is amazing and a mist see.

Chris Cox

Absolutely beautiful museum with exhibits for all ages! Highly recommend!

Mike Black

Adam C Johnson

Chock full of beautiful memorabilia! Very aesthetically pleasing and informative placards and headlines, etc throughout. Many videos of jumps, wrecks, and interviews. Interactive displays. Kid and family friendly! Well done, would recommend.

Gretchen G

This place is awesome. I saw the billboard on I-70 and had to stop in. It will cost you 17 bucks to walk through the place but it's worth every penny, especially if you grew up with Evel Knievel.

Emily Wallace

The museum was very well set up with lots of information and items to look at! The staff members were kind and helpful but allowed you to move about the different spaces at your own pace. I would go again to read everything I missed.

David Blyth

You don't have to be a motorcycle fan to enjoy this place. It is just "cool"

D. Schreiber

Outstanding collection of memorabilia! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Highly recommend if you grew up watching Evel or if you're a fan of any kind.

Doug Griffin

Excellent experience. World class. Worth the price of admission. Spent 2 hours. If in area again, won't hesitate to stop again. Staff courteous and knowledgeable!

David Patzner

If you're in Topeka Kansas you owe it to yourself to check out Evel Knievel's museum? It's located at the Harley Davidson dealership, which is a great place to check out also! Evels motorcycles, semi, events, everything you ever wanted to know, it's there!

Cheryl Langham

Didn't know what to expect, was pleasantly surprised at all the memorabila, all the history of this American icon. Downstairs from the dealership (that is closed on Sundays) it is a self guided tour until you get to the 4d jump experience, spend the extra $5, it's fun and a good photo op. Kids from 5 up beyond 50 can do it, a great time and money well spent.

Craiger

For fans of Evel, this place is a lot of fun. From lunchboxes to his personal bikes, his rig and everything in between, the guys here have managed to accumulate more of Evel's gear than he himself probably owned at once. Not just accumulate though... they have meticulously restored it all with care. My dad, brother, nephew and I all had a great time. The Harley shop connected to the museum is definitely worth visiting too.

Kristin Duckworth

Such a great little museum! Amazing exhibits with all kinds to of memorabilia, costumes, photos, videos, interactive parts and a virtual reality jump. The volunteers are also extremely nice, and everything is spotless and we'll organized.

Tammy Gay

This is "must do!" Great day trip from the Kansas City area! The virtual Evel Knieval jump was fantastic fun! The staff are great. It's fun to go somewhere that every is happy to be there. And don't miss the Harley restoration displays in the Historic Harley-Davidson parts and service department!

Susan Brillhart

Very nice and lots of fun facts. There was even a virtual jump you can do! If you go on Sunday the entrance is down on the back side of the Harley-Davidson shop.

Paint Drummer

Lots of neat stuff, much of it original. The virtual jump is worth the $5.

Richard Perkins

I absolutely loved this museum! Evel Knievel was my hero growing up and this museum paid great tribute to a man that shaped a generation The 4D jump was awesome, thank you Doug Danger! I highly recommend this museum.

Christofono Brown

Just fantastic! You almost need to go twice (I do): once to “see” the exhibit, and again to read all the articles and facts and statistics on all the walls! While you are there, visit the dealership as well, they have a museum themselves, including some Harley prototypes.

Spenser P

Coolest museum I’ve ever been to. So much history and memorabilia, if you get the chance to visit don’t hesitate. The food is awesome as well.

Jeff Harvey

My wife Dilynn Fawn Harvey was a celebrity guest for slash and bash horror movie convention and we were given a VIP tour with other celebrities, it was great we really enjoyed it.

Tom Lindsay

This was such a GREAT experience. Anyone thinking about visiting just needs to do it. The experience is worth so much more than the price.... and do the Evel Kneivel ride!!!!

BMT CPA

A great museum in honor of the life of Evel Knievel

RANDALL KOEHN

A very interesting and informative history of a man whos indomitable spirit helped entertain the people around the globe. Worth your time, worth your money. A tremendous showman, A daredevil, and perhaps to some, a fool. But an interesting fool at that. His history is worth your study.

Stephen Tarnoczy

Outstanding. The tour was awesome. Took me back to my childhood. Thanks again Joe!

Josh Glenn

Great exhibit, good interaction, informative and fun

Stacy Bonnell

I wasn't a big fan but the museum was very interesting and entertaining. Pay the 5 extra bucks to do the virtual jump at the end.

Doug Burks

Me and my dad went here this morning. It was even better than the website looks. Perfectly put together. The virtual jump was awesome. Thank you for bringing this to Topeka!

Doug & Judy Happ

Was much more than anticipated and worth our time. Great information about the man, the myths, and legend.

Annette Sweeden

Much bigger than it looks. Had tons of memorabilia. We ate at a restaurant in the building and had a great time. Welcome back 70's. Great items, cool videos and need to do vr jump simulator . stopped at Harley dealer and bbq place, all friendly and outstanding

Brad Bugos

Being a fan I had to stop and see this.museum. it has a lot of artifacts and plenty of video clips of Evel doing his famous and not as famous jumps. The added bonus and almost worth the trip itself was the 4D jump experience. What a rush. So realistic and fun I was smiling ear to ear after and my wife was giggling like when we first met. The 4D jump is only five dollars extra and the gentleman running it couldn't have been nicer or more fun to talk to. What a kick the whole experience was, enjoyable and fun.

Travis Wirth

Simply amazing, a must go!

Cindy Glatz

Great experience. Museum not even 2 years old.

DOOD J

Having been a long time customer of the dealership and an Evel Knievel fan since birth, I was very happy when I first heard of Evel Knievel's hauler Big Red being restored by folks connected with the dealership. When I got to help with some grunt work unloading equipment out in the parking lot and shoot the bull with Lathan for a while, it got better. I was able to actually help move a couple of Evel's bikes. Man I was about 8 years old again! When the Museum opened I had the honor of visiting with Knievel royalty, and then the walk through...WOW. More than I'd anticipated and then some. Really well done. There's more there than you can take in all at once. If you actually stop to read and experience everything you'll be there for 3-5 hours. You'll be there even longer if you end up taking in the Evel Knievel movies showing in the little theater. Seriously, a unique, well thought out, expansive museum that still has a very intimate feel, not just big hallways with items far away behind glass. You can see his bikes right in front of you. I thought I knew a lot about at least his career and jumps but couldn't walk five feet without learning something really interesting and new. Great job on this guys! BTW - For the skeptics of the price: Like any museum, it is what you make of it. If you jog through and don't take everything in, you have only yourself to blame for "poor economy". If you take everything in and really enjoy the topnotch experience you'll find yourself thinking you got really an excellent deal for the price. One jump in the '70s would have cost you between $10 & $25 dollars (1970's dollars mind you). Here you get to see them all for $15. What a deal.

Ted Thompson

Lots of interesting things to see. The staff loves to talk about the pieces and answer questions.

Scott Groth

This was fantastic. An amazing collection of motorcycles, leathers and other Evel Knievel memorbelia. Even a fun collection of his broken bone x-rays.

Ray Miller

It was pretty cool (even for those of us that grew up in the 80's). The motorcycle jump was the best. It was also cool to talk to people who knew Knievel.

Kenton Sallee

If you are an Evel kneival fan...it's a must see stop. Tons of memorabilia, Harley shop upstairs...also great food in the restaurant.

ANGELA BECKWITH

Gina Blizzard

There was alot of stuff to see. Nice museum. Motorcycle simulator is worth the $.

Olaf Zastrow

Great collection of motorcycles memorabilia, a very well done museum. my only complaint was the pushy ticket sales guy that thought he was funny and clever. He needed to get kicked in the teeth.

Natisha Williams

Absolutely loved it. I had a great time and the food was good!

Jeremy Gross

Great experience. The exhibits were very well done and full of information. The museum does a great job of telling Evel's story and really bringing him to life. The virtual jump is pretty cool too!

Kirk Keller

Really captures who Evel was. Well done. Worth the trip.

Starr Prussner

Very detailed and a fascinating walk through Evel’s timeline he called life.
