REVIEWS OF Boot Hill Museum IN Kansas

Greg Eakin

Did the package deal with the kids for Father's Day, and everyone had a great time! Well worth the price of admission once you figure in the hearty meal and entertainment. Museum was very well laid out and interesting. Started off our vacation right. Can't wait to come back after the new expansion is finished next year.

Bob Sammartino

Awesome experience. Sure it’s touristy but the displays are authentic and informative. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The buffet dinner was better than expected with a great smoked brisket. Recommend the package with the can can dancers at miss kitty’s Longbranch Saloon .

Tia Christman

Despite the construction, it was easy to access and visit. We got the combination ticket - the meal was filling, albeit seating was poorly done. It's family style, but too many guests saving seats between them and the next person and no staff members advising them to move down to make room so my fiance and I couldn't sit together for dinner. The shows were both great, and I cannot say enough about how they worked to incorporate everyone in the audience in at some point.

Sandy Hepburn

This museum was very well done. I have limited mobility and walk part time and use a scooter the other half. I was able to freely enjoy the museum and all the buildings just like anyone else. The exhibits were very well done and it was a enjoyable experience.

Stacey Falk

We had such a great time! They are currently under construction but it did not take away from the experience. I highly recommend the chuckwagon meal and Long Branch Saloon Show! The show was over crowded and we had to stand but it was well worth it! Audience participation is encouraged! The museum had good information, from Dodge City and Boothill to the Plains Indians and Cattlemen.

Barb Ross

Interesting. Lots to see. Gunfight was cute and funny.

Pat Burden

If you can catch the gunfight. Its awesome

Devin Waffle

There is an awesome restaurant in here that doesnt get enough attention! Overall it's a museum. If that is your thing then you will like it. If you arent a fan of western stuff then God help you as you navigate Dodge City. That being said the restaurant is well worth your time and the gun show is actually really cool. Also it is free to get in if you live in Dodge which is nice.

Ruby Dempsey

A fabulous place to visit and find unique gifts. Love it.

Chris Bloomfield

This place is really cool! I was impressed with how friendly the staff was. Our kids loved the gunfighters and the parents loved how educational the place was. We spent the entire day here and only missed out on seeing the show. The people working the old time photos did a great job and their prices were lower than other places we have seen. I want to come back when the expansion is finish because then it will be even better! #gettheheckintododge

Dannie Metzger

A lot of construction going on and several exhibits that were outside are no longer there. $12.00 per person was little steep for what you had to look at. I wasn't impressed. It might be good in the future but not really worth it now.

Welsh Streetracer

Amazing and very informative. Pity there was a lot of work being done on the front of the street

Josh Geiger

It has unfortunately been years since I've been to Boot Hill, but for a long time I wen there every summer with cousins and grandparents. Very fond memories of the staged gunfights, rock candy, food, dancers, and museum. Crazy nostalgic looking back at the old-timey photos we did there (and hope they still do!)

James Corbridge

If you like the old west, then this place has to be on your bucket list. Very interesting stories about Dodge City and how it got started. Lots of souvenirs for purchase, sit in an old west bar, visit and old church and school house, not mention many more. Very cool display of old guns and stories of the lawmen that tamed Dodge.

Tia Faulk

Excellent!! We especially enjoyed the gunfight at noon! The men in costume did an excellent job. The memorabilia was so worth seeing. We took this trip out west to see once again how the west was won and tamed. We love our nation's western heritage.

Jean Pind

Liked it, wish restuarants were open. Looked like new building going up in front of it,

Ken Kirby

Great staff and actors! Food was very good, the evening show was a blast, museum was packed with displays and historical items, and just an all around fun place!

Gabriela Jones

$11 admission. The history was cool and the people were great but after the museum there wasn't a lot to see and most of it was closed due to construction. I am excited for the exhibits. The train outside of it was super cool and you could go in it!

CrazyTrainTV

I had a lot of fun at this place! I'm a truck driver and I was passing through the area when I saw the signs for the museum. I pulled off and called, and trucks can park across from the building in an old restaurant parking lot. It was well worth it and cheap to see the museum. A lot of souvenirs you can buy too. I bought a replica of Wyatt's 6 shooter!

David P

This was fun! Not too many people there, so we were able to get to see this without much impediment. Well worth the cost to get in—and I forget how much it was.

Hanaa Everett

The staff was awesome and very polite! The museum itself was full of interesting facts and artifacts that lured me in to spending hours reading the descriptions of them all. The restaurant had great food for a low price (considering how much they give you, they are quite large portions!) The gunfighters were amusing and great with children. I did not get the dinner or show but can imagine it was just as great. I would definitely recommend anyone who visits Dodge City to come here and learn about the towns history.

FuturePhantom 59

It was kinda short but can't wait until the finish building the new structure.

Laura Wilson

Amazing! Great people. Great place. So much fun!! Not that expensive and still worth every penny!! I highly recommend for a full day of family fun!

Ben Trentman

We had a good experience at the Boot Hill Museum. For two adults and two children, we paid nearly $40 for admission. The artifacts and presentation of information was good, nearly as good as many public museums. There is history of Native Americans, Frontiersmen, Lawmen, Outlaws, weapons, bison, the way of life in Dodge City, etc. We also had lunch at the ice cream parlor, and that cost us another $40 for 4 sandwiches. They were ok, but not worth the cost. We didn't try the ice cream selection, but the descriptions looked good. The gunfight was the highlight of the admission, very cool and fairly well acted. But it was very short, and they asked for tips afterwards (in exchange for pictures) so be ready for that with a couple bucks if you choose to give.

Joshua McCann

Truly realistic and it certainly brings you back to the old west. There was an immense amount of work put into the museum.

Robyn Johnson

This is from the Kansas teachers museum. Wonderful way to honor teachers and preserve the education history.

Tammy J.

This was very interesting. Would have actually liked to see the museum itself, but it was closed already. We will be going back.

joel howard

Well worth the stop. The wonderful people who who put this on are exceptional! Great for kids! Absolutely must see the gun fight! Even with the construction going on it was so worth it!!!!

Mary Joslin

Very nice. Lots of info. Fun for all. Kid friendly. Handicap accessible.

Elizabeth Trumble

It was great seeing Dodge City again after 43 years. A lot dissapointed that it isnt wat I remembered it as. A lot of growth and new construction and the streets arent the way they used to be. Great place to take the kids though. A lot of history and a very family-friendly place!

Kyle Martinez

Was fun for the family. Kids couldn't believe how they could live without wifi back in the day

some person

It was very interesting . Love the History !!!

Chris Colburn

Had a blast. Great displays with history of the area. Fun demos. Go see the show at the long branch. Get you inner Miss Kitty going!

Jerry Fritz

Outstanding selection of old west artifacts. Gift shop has wide selection.

lanny pichoff

This was our second visit. My kids really enjoyed the Gun fight.

Michele Shone

Well worth the stop!! Seeing Boot Hill cemetary was pretty cool, giving details as to how the men and women met their demise.

Karin Ponce

I went to the gift shop. Nice stuff. Didn't have time to do the museum visit. It's $11 per person to visit the museum.

LK Davis Mittendorf

Great place to step back in time.

Jenna Dostal

Such a cool place, unfortunately we were there on off season so it wasn't open. We hope to go back!

Julie Hall

Loved it, we are big Gunsmoke fans . The only thing was it's there off season no show or restaurant . we would recommend it .

Shawn Gray

Pretty neat place. Reasonable too.

Bricole Filipovic

Love it! I remembered this place from when I was a kid and had to bring my daughter and husband to see it. We went during the off season so staffing was light but they did a great job. They made my daughter a deputy and she spent the entire afternoon walking the boardwalk looking for bank robbers and locking us up in the jail. The gun fight at the end of the night was a real treat everyone loved it. The staff was so nice I hope to visit again some day.

Nate Duden

Knowledgeable staff. Exciting shootout and lots of historical information.

LnKay Lewis

Gunfights were realistic! The piano man in the saloon was really good. Everyone here is very friendly

Charlene Ware

This place is historical, hysterical and memorable!! It's a Bucket List Item for me and I finally experienced it! Spent 5 hrs touring the grounds, eating dinner, witnessed a gun fight and enjoyed a show!!! $40/person for all!!

Kay Ripley

Very nice place to visit with lots of historic info and relics of the past!

Paisly Hart

Incredible history! This is a must stop for anyone coming to Dodge!!

Carla Rupp

We loved it so much! I was here as a child and always wanted to return. Fabulous exhibits. Wonderful old-fashioned atmosphere. Friendly staff, many in costumes. We sta yes for the gunfight. Fantastic gift shop.

Judy Harte

Was very interesting. Worth the money to get in. Because of off season there was no shows. A couple of things to see in there are blocked off. A lot of history. Was very interesting.

10:31 Productions, LLC

I have wanted to visit Dodge City since I was in Middle School. I love my country and therefore love it’s rich history. My wife and I have a Bucket List and one of the items in it is to visit every state. I couldn’t have picked a better site to visit in all of Kansas...

Laci McGee

This museum was a lot of fun. We visited on a Friday and it was fairly quiet, not a ton of people there. We were able to learn a lot about the area's history without feeling rushed. The museum is large with a bunch of neat artifacts from its long and not so pretty but fascinating history. Make sure to watch the short film at the start of your visit. It is a fun museum to wonder through on an afternoon. There is food available at the museum but we did not eat there. You do enter and exit through the gift shop.

FrostBound Gaming

Lots of information and they said the entire place holds about 25k historical relics. It's an interesting place that gives you information in the form of a western town which you can walk through and see a wild west reenactment.

Kathy Turner

Enjoyed it very much. Nice place for family fun.

Jeff Jackson

Very well done. Kept up nice. Very personable help.

Barbara Batie

Loved it. The shootout show was awesome and my 13 yr and 12 yr loved the show. They had a blast with the original stores and buildings. Absolute great place to take the family. Dodge City was a wonderful surprise *smile*

Sue Scroggins

It's not what I remember from the 1960's, but still very nice & updated for a museum. It's you all indoors & cooled. You had better have your phone charged 100%. You'll want to take many photos.

Kyle hager

Nice museum. Was better when it was a living history museum with history interpreters... and now they are adding on a big modern addition in front of the front street replica buildings that were erected in the 1950s. Used to be able to see them from wyatt earp boulevard and would draw in visitors... now can't see them at all unless you buy a ticket.

Patrick Star

Had really cool gifts and toys and items, me and my family loved it.

Lester McNeely

This is really great. Remnant of the burial area and great artifacts well presented. Nice friendly folks. Stop for a beer at the Long Branch Saloon and visit the church. Go in the front entrance at the church. Enter and exit through the gift shop.

Kristin Coley

A cool place with tons of interesting exhibits. Worth the time.

Jason McMillion

Neat little side trip. Bring money!!! After nearly $50 to get my family and I in, everything inside is double priced. $4 for a sarsaparilla?

Matthew Langford

We really enjoyed our time here. The shows and shops were great.

Michael Becker

We stopped in here to break up a long drive. $12 admission. The history is really great and they do a wonderful job of recreating the old west. There was a gunfight at high noon which was lots of fun! The actors did a fantastic job. There is construction currently which takes away from the view and picture opportunities. 5 stars for sure when construction is done.

Bob Amyx

The museum was amazing. The grave yard was a joke. The gift shop was above average.

CARMEN ATHERTON

IF YOU LOVE WESTERN HISTORY YOU WILL LIKE THIS PLACE...I LOVE WYATT EARP SO THIS WAS A GREAT PLACE...

Daniel theNerd

Fun little history lesson of Dodge City. There is fun gun fight at noon and later in the day. The history throughout the museum is really good and well curated. Wish they had more history of the cattle drives and how the town changed as the cattle moved away. Overall it was worth the trip here and I would recommend it.

Paul Cate

Boot Hill great place to visit , cost $11/adult to get in to see the place where the real cowboy and outlaws of yesteryear roamed streets of Dodge City KS where Wyatt Earp and his brothers kept the law , nice place to visit but its is hot today 103 degrees.

Al Kauf

Alot of firearms, American Indian history and other things

Gina Sifers

A fun and interesting museum! The remake of the old Dodge City town is very well done. Awesome gift shop and old cemetary.

John Clark

Very nice museum, well worth the $11.00 entrance fee. People working there are very friendly

John Judge

Highly recommended as long as you plan at least 2 hrs for this location alone in Dodge City. Otherwise you will miss a lot of well preserved and well presented "wild west" legacy. Most of the "keeper" gifts in the souvenir shop are more over the top than usual, but, if you take the time to walk the Boot Hill cemetery and down and thru the Main Street re-creations, the $11 entrance fee won't seem so bad. For me, it was well worth the price.

Marcus Forelius

Great museum for families and history buffs. All the exhibits and displays are interesting, informative, and well done. We spent about 3 hours here and loved it. Wish we could have seen some of the gunfights and shows but there was construction going on when we went.

Amber S

To be perfectly honest, I've never been much of a western person. We came upon this as something different to see while driving across the country. It is worth doing. The all inclusive ticket gave us dinner, a gunfight skit, as well as a variety show at the saloon. The food was spectacular (particularly the brisket). The actors put on a great show. There is also an impressive museum. Highly recommend, even if you aren't a big western fan.

David Pederson

The feeling that should be maintained has been removed and replaced with fake pictures and a terrible remake of what used to be a wonderful place to see what the 1800's cattle drives were like as well as the life was like back then. History was destroyed in my opinion in this wonderful old West town.

Rafael Flores

The GPS took us to the wrong place in town, but eventually we made it there. It's a well laid out museum chronologing the history of the town. The people dressed in period clothes tending the stores give it the extra touch. We were kinda in a hurry to get back on the road. Need to make another trip and spend more time here.

Trish Wilson

Everyone working there is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It was my second time and it was a great day.

Ethel Hazelbaker

Cool place, makes you feel like you're in an old Western

Don Muir

Even in the off season it was worth seeing. My wife and I visited Dodge City and Boot Hill Museum in mid Sept after the main attractions are done for the season. The experience is still well worth the visit seeing so many exhibits of the life and times back then. Must be fabulous in prime tourist season.

David Wolken

Under renovation but most exhibits and stores open. A nice surprise, very well done. Fair amount of walking.

Anthoney Henson

Would of enjoyed it more but the construction made it worse...

Jason Eckert

Good food and friendly service. The variety show was very entertaining.

Jerry Eastman

Museum was outstanding and very informative. Although we went during the off season, no entertainment, the staff were very friendly and helpful in learning the history of Dodge City. This is certainly a MUST do place to visit.

T Larson

Great historical books and information. Unique suvineiers to purchase were pricey but most museums are. We didn't tour the museum bldgs. It was pretty pricey and it was under construction.

Carolina Eckert

This was such a fun place to stop! I wish we had time to experience more of the shows here but we were able to catch the "shoot out" it was awesome! My fiancée were very pleased and we intend to visit again soon!

Bob Crouse

museum is well thought out and set up nice information on all of the subjects involved in the Dodge City area not only the Americans with the Indians and talking about the Buffalo and showing some of the weapons of both the Indians used as well as the white man and then seeing the how folks lived in those days

robin fontenot

Excellent museum. But the woman at the register gave me a senior admission ticket. I’m severely insulted. I’m no where near being a senior But thanks for the discount.

Marki Anton

Haven't been in a long time but it was a nice mosey way to look at things.

Robert Wright

Great history lesson and knowledgeable staff.

Tiffany Wilson

Awesome place! We enjoyed looking through all the old historical western items in this historical location. It was a nice experience!

Cindy Douglas

Was great to see all of the old western items.

Dennis Woods

Great place to learn about the history of Dodge City. I would recommend this place for both young and old alike.

Heather V

This museum is great for those who want to see the heritage of Dodge City and the surrounding area. They include a Native American section on the local tribes as well, which I appreciated a lot. The saloon was my favorite part! They serve sarsparilla there and they have a piano player who is playing saloon music while you sit and your soda. The drink is really good, too. They have a large section on the different weapons used, and information on the boot hill cemetery. If you want they also serve a dinner during tourist season and have live shoot out recreations, and kids can become honorary deputies. It's really fun!

A palandri

Nice place. Lots of history

Chad Baker

It was awesome to see this history! What an amazing place!

Roman Fraulini

A neat piece of history and doesn't take all day to check it out. A good little gift store and helpful staff throughout.

Dawn Long

They have a package deal that gives you museum entrance, plus a dinner and show but we could not stay for dinner and show so this is just about the museum. Place looks like a cheesy western town, but much of it is fairly authentic. It is interesting to read the boothill area stories of shootouts and outlaws. The buildings have more artifacts then you would think. Had to see the Long Branch Saloon which is more like the original Dodge City that the TV show gunsmoke based their's on. It has a long bar and two stuffed eagles that are about 150 years old. Some of the costumed folks who walk around to give the place authenticity and entertain the kids, are also historians and can tell you true facts about the history, area and displays. This is not a high tech museum and there is a lot of reading on the displays, if that's a problem then this will probably bore you. Either way you can take a few cute pictures and be on your way. It's not bad but it could be so much more, (which can be said of the whole area and I blame the city for that--someone from Disney world needs to come give them some ideas on how to draw tourists but still keep up the authenticity, it may be that the cowboy image is dying and that is why the area is not drawing the tourism that could bring it to life but no matter what the problem I maintain someone could turn this whole area in to a bustling must see tourist site-they just haven't). But back to Boothill Museum- you get your money's worth if you enjoy cowboy history and want to see some authentic buildings and displays.

Debbie Berman

Loving westerns. This place is great. Start with the trolly to get all the history.

Paul Cyburt

The staff is helpful and especially nice with children. It is a great family friendly environment that contains a lot of rich history of the area. I was thoroughly surprised and enjoyed my time.

Sandie Brown

Love love loved it!!! Very informative...every staff person knew their history of the place & so pleasant!!!!

Mary Nolen Newson

Lots of history on display; interesting; and very friendly staff

Frank Schmitt

Good time. Lots to learn if you are into the old west.

Johnann Ackerson

It was a fun and educational experience and the shootout was cool too!!

joan head

Great place to visit. Watched the gunfight in the street. The Western Museum provided a lot of historical information.

Jim Stanford

Kids are quickly bored. Very good museum for what it is. Requires time and patience. Lots of reading. Plenty of interesting objects. Admission price seems like a tourist gouge.

IDA F ANDERSON

LOVED IT WOULD DEFINITELY COME BACK AGAIN. I'M FROM CHESAPEAKE,VA CAME TO VISIT MY SON FOR HIS 39th BIRTHDAY JUNE 15th. EVERYBODY EXTREMELY NICE ESPECIALLY THE GUY AT THE VISITORS CENTER. THANK YALL SO MUCH

Monty Mann

Just dissapointed there was so little to see here. Bring admission and gift shop dollars.

Thomas Holt

Excellent walk through the history of the town/area/state. Lots of information presented in short bits so easy to absorb. English & Spanish presented side by side.

Laura Ingham

Had a really good time. Had the dinner and show which both are great!

Kai Harwood

Great time! Friendly and great atmosphere! About a 2 hour adventure. We did this first and caught the gun fight at HIGH noon and lunch and the 130 trolley and got the Hell out of good ole Dodge City!

Sondra Rippy

A nice old west museum. Loved the history and the display of old guns.

M H

Bought the package deal. Walked through the museum which was awesome on it's own. The dinner was good and I loved the lemonade. The show was well worth watching.

Kathy White

They are constructing buildings right in front of the old time buildings. The place has changed forever.

Karen Mathews

All the authentic antiques and the history behind all of it was wonderful. Very disappointed that very little of boot hill has been saved! The whole front street of the old Dodge City is a replica built in the 1950s.

Haywood M. Smith Jr.

Boot Hill Museum took us back, way back in the western past of the United States. I would totally recommend the Boot Hill Museum to all travelers that motor through that area. The gift shop has a lot of items for the young and old.

Dr. Elizabeth Mattke

My husband and I were impressed visiting this Museum. We literally felt like we were living it out similar to Gunsmoke. Thank you to the staff for all if your hard work. May God bless you abundantly.

C L

Great museum of old western and Indian artifacts. You can spend some time looking and reading all the information on the pioneers of Dodge City and even grab a sasparrila in the saloon. Worth a stop to check out. They are under construction and adding more to it so it might be worth it to wait till everything is done.

Lara J

Great place to explore and learn more about the history of Dodge City. Ice cream and sasaparilla float was delicious :)

Darin Haight

Nice place to visit. Good amount of history.

Catherine Peto

Had a great time at Boot Hill Museum. Bought the all inclusive ticket which included a tour of the museum, 3 gunfight reenactments, all you could eat buffet dinner and a show at the Long Branch Saloon.

Ryan Fountaine

Visiting during the winter is probably not the best time. I'd bet during the summer is great. Really a self guided tour. Kind of bummed the portrait studio was closed.

Sarah Lawson

If you go, go for the evening show. It was awesome!!! We did the package deal that they offer on their website for museum entrance, dinner, and the can-can show. All of the performers did an awesome job. We had a great time at the can-can show!!! Just make sure you reserve your dinner/show ahead of time so you can get a seat up front. It makes the show even more fun as the actors interact with the front tables at different points in the show. If you wait till you get to the museum to purchase tickets you will probably get stuck in the back row chairs.

Ronald Dierckman

We did the dinner / variety show combo and spent about 9 hours there, which gave us plenty of time to take in all the sights, and experiences. You probably could fit it all into 4 hours if you were in a rush.

Georgeann Lang

we had the best time. brisket and potatoes were very good . saloon show was wonderful lots of talent and tons of laughs especially with the way the audience is involved. great time for families

Edna Jacomino

Very interesting exhibits. I was there in off season so I missed a lot.

dconner 221

AMAZING!! Highly recommend the dinner and show at the Long Branch Saloon. Very family friendly and tons of fun

Jason Buss

A really good experience for 11 bucks. Ended up staying 3 hours to see it all

Ruth Coffman

Great bunch of people. Awesome museum, the kids will love the gunfight. I would recommend the evening ticket you get the museum , the miss kitty show, a gunfight , and a dinner and show too.

Susann Ropella

Fun & interesting. If you want to experience the world of fronts life it's a must stop. Great opening times in summer 8am till 8pm.

Belinda Gratopp

It will be great when the new museum is done.

Renegade Morrison

While on vacation during the wild west tour of the West we just had to stop in Dodge City! I was very disappointed to find that the original sites worth any historical value had all been torn down and covered up by a highway. What they were doing was placing a replica of what used to be behind the walls of the place called Boot Hill Museum. They did have a nice collection of guns from the era as well as some interesting exhibits in the museum part, but I was saddened at the extreme excess of marketing and sales they have throughout the "museum". We had our antique picture taken in Tombstone and we're looking forward to having one from Dodge City as well. They had that type of photo booth within the museum but the girl working there was much less than helpful, and the selections they had for costuming was very limited. We ended up walking out and not getting the photo. I was very disappointed at the lack of the real historical site in the city that had been destroyed to put in a highway. I'm glad I went, but have no desire to return again.

Darrenandshelley sexton

We loved the history and the gun show.

Joann Holmes

Great place!! Allows a step back in time!! Wonderful gift shop!

Shelley Sexton

Great historical information. You can see things from the past and feel like your there

Lindsey Smith

By far the best museum we have ever visited. We enjoyed everything about this museum . The gift shop has some great souvenirs as well. The fudge in the general store is amazing I recommend the cookie and cream. You will not waste your money here. So much fun. 11 dollars for adults 8 for kids. Kids under 3 are free. They will enjoy it as much as you.

Diana Lassley

This VERY well run tourist stop will give you a fun and educational look at the old West. If you were a Gun Smoke TV show fan (talking to you boomers now) you will visit the environs of Marshall Dillion, Miss Kitty, Chester/Festus and the like. Good fun. Additionally the charming Christina, a staff member, volunteered to watch our treasured standard poodle who doesn't really enjoy westerns (or TOO hot car interiors during 90°+ temps in Sept ~dam climate change~ Thanks Christina) So take your small carriable pooch, if you've got one, and enjoy a trip back in time next time you are in Dodge City Kansas.

Joshua Coppersmith

While touristy in its own way, this is a quaint Museum that is legitimately based on the history of the individual town. Many of the items are authentic and come from Dodge City itself. A nonprofit organization, it shows in the dedication of the people who work there.

rj s

Great museum to visit in Dodge City, Kansas. Just be ready for a long two lane road trip in and out of this area. The museum is full of great stuff to look at and the staff in the gift shap and other shops are very friendly and informative. I just wish the buildings were original but, I understand you can't get those if there gone. But, a couple buildings are original, ie: the jail and a house at the corner of the lot. The house was closed for remodel and hopefully it will be remodel to it's original glory. As I said, great museum though.

Mark Thomas

Great to see preservation of artifacts and learn about the west from a by gone era.

Pam Parker

Great museum! Takes you back in time. Dodge City is fortunate to have this. They've done an awesome job depicting the history of Dodge! We visited at an off time, but was still worth it!

Mylene Rogers

Always wanted to see memorabilia like this from the old west. We saw a lot of photos that we had seen in movies/documentaries over the years. The collection of guns is outstanding.

Garry Cahill

Fantastic. We got our tickets to Saturday evening show on Friday pm but got instant access to entire complex immediately (Fri & Sat). Historic displays of a wide, wild, western theme. The restaurant could upgrade their fare but they are still ok meals. The gunfights are fun but the dinner show was just hilarious and worth every cent. Everyone in the show played their part well (as did the audience members dragged in to participate). Do NOT go to Dodge City and miss this.

Jaimi Stewart

Giving 4 stars due to the construction going on during our visit, but we had a great time! Even interactive for kids (sheriff teaching them how to be deputies, we learned the can-can, drank sarsaparilla) would love to come back to see a showdown “fight”. Recommend for all ages.

Leilani Silvio

Really cool museum of past Dodge City, Kansas. Need about 2 hours. They allow active duty military get in for free. Great staff and facilities.

Debbra Tucker

Just passing through this time. Took tour last time, fun place, nice folks, great souvenirs, and a nice step back in time!

Dena Craghead

It is a little pricy but I think it was well worth it for all you see. Especially if you get to the gunfight show.

Jim Schroeder

We took the trolley guided tour. It was awesome. The driver had a great sense of humor and made the tour special. It was very affordable and enjoyable.

stephen diaz

This place is pretty cool with a lot of history
