A local gem at the University of Notre Dame that has an extensive collection, self-guided tours and in the summer, offers local musicians in concert in the courtyard with popcorn and lemonade.

The beautiful collection contains a blend of art and history, and covers so much of the globe. I was particularly impressed with several of the marble figure sculptures, and the painting of Cleopatra. The Snelson was a treat, and so small compared to ours back in KC, it was fun to see one from such a different angle. I would highly recommend stopping by here, and it's a great escape from the busy campus.

A great museum. Handicap access can be very difficult, as street access to the building is restricted. Call ahead and ask the front desk for assistance.
