Here you will see the information of people like you who consumed the services of NCAA Hall of Champions (Museum) near Indiana.
At the present this business gets a rating of 4.3 over 5 and that score is based on 308 reviews.
As you can read, the average score it has is really positive, and it's based on a large number of reviews, so we can conclude that the valuation is quite reliable. If people have bothered to value when they've done well with the service, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to write feddbacks when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Museum is classified in the category of Event venue.
The place is small but has lots of awesome history! Many hands on opportunities and kids love it.
Great facility for events.
Great history.
An amazing homage to college sports! Very fun!
Very interesting for sports fans.
A great place to visit for any sports fan.
Laid back atmosphere, with interesting exibits. Very interactive.
First time going! So much fun we stayed the whole day!
Love the activities on the second floor.
Cheap and lots of local foods and vendors
Clean polite people
Cheap little museum, but didnt have much to see and many interactive displays were broken.
My sentiments were echoed by others. We walked in wanting a hall of fame of our favorite NCAA athletes and memories. Instead we were created with a historical exhibit on the NCAA and events related to it. Go for the educational opportunity, but not for the star gazing nostalgia.
Loved the upstairs interactive displays and being able to find your school!
standard event space, great staff, parking nearby
Absolutely loved taking the kids here. They definitely enjoyed the second floor more than the first but it was good to see history on all sports. Will visit again and suggest anyone to at least visit once especially if they are in the area.
Small museum on the site of the NCAA headquarters with displays on every NCAA sport and the national champions.
I was in Indy on a business trip recently, and this was a fun way to spend a spare hour. The interactive displays were nice, but I was expecting there would be more historical displays. Overall it felt more like a promotion for the NCAA than a museum. But if you like college sports it's worth a visit.
It's okay. Several facility were closed it out of order.
Pretty cool place if you are into college sports. You can usually find discounts for this place.
Cool interactive experiences to help you learn about college sports! Would definitely go again :)
If you love sports... This is the place for you!
Smiles when you walk in the door - interesting facts
Great experience, interactive and good fun
Very nice place but if could be a little bigger.
AWESOME!
Great guides and interactive exhibits. So fun!
Great place to take the sports fan
Nice place
Neat place few games to play and a basketball court
Great conference space!
Nice venue for Sports enthusiasts. He catering company used by the venue is very unprofessional with poor quality food.
Neat place to visit. Was expecting more facts and displays.
Balling on a budget? For only $5 you can become enlightened on the progression of NCAA student athletes. Very informative. You'll do a lot of reminiscing and maybe even break a sweat on the second floor after you've engaged in the activities including soccer and basketball.
My family loved it. Lots to offer sports fans, and can shoot hoops on a ncaa court.
Interesting visit for college sports fans. It is more a celebration of the NCAA than of college sports heroes and highlights, but I still learned some interesting info. Definitely worth a visit for college sports fans, especially if you have a bit of time to kill in Indy.
Had a good time interacting with the exhibits.
Such a nice place to take the kids. Knowledge is power
Beautiful campus and always something to do.
Neat museum, not very big. Good for the price though.
Nice little museum for the price.
It's smaller than I expected but what is there is pretty cool especially the 2nd floor
We are currently meeting in this space for a training. It is a great space that's nestled right up against the canal and the river. There are lots of different things that are reflective of the NCAA over the years. It is a beautiful building inside and out.
Very inexpensive museum. I really enjoyed the fact that it is very interactive. It could however use more historical artifacts or original jersey or shoes that were used by collegiate stars. It could also use a key to allow me to understand D1,D@ & D# and other designations used at the collegiate level. Kids will have a blast here.
Loved it
Pretty cool place kids liked it !!!
I attended my boyfriend's work holiday party here. Appetizers were good. The beer and wine was moderately price. We were severed, salad, bread, main course, and dessert. The food was much better than I had expected being a catered event. I was pleasantly surprised.
It was great we went there for a school field trip. The kid's loved it and the staff was great.
An amazing place to spend an afternoon. The interactive stations on the 2nd floor are great from children and adults
There are great rooms for conferences, and the catering staff is very friendly. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, however.
A little disappointing but priced right. Only $5
My opinion may be a bit centered since I wasn't there for a meeting. But nevertheless, the NCAA Hall of Fame was an incredible experience for me and my classmates! In one of my elementary schools, (I moved a lot) we went and did many athletic AND fun stations. I will never forget that experience. (Especially since it happened about over a year ago.)
Sports abound in this temple to collegiate athleticism! Lots of interactive displays and engaging exhibits. Highly recommended if you are a sportsman.
Beautiful venue and amazing event space. Had a conference here and was blown away by the hospitality!
This place was awesome! I loved how the campers wanted to know all there was about the NCAA and how it was established. It was pretty neat to watch one of my former athletes talk in the video they show you as part of the NCAA experience. Will definitely be going back.
A don’t miss in Indy!
Fun little museum about ncaa sports
Definitely worth a stop if you're visiting Indy.
Beautiful!
Great for the kids. Excellent history and attractions. I just thought there'd be more. Don't expect to spend a whole day there, but you can easily fill a couple hours.
Interesting place
You pay 5€ to see nothing. If you want to play a sport go the field.
Very rude and unhelpful staff. It is clean, but expensive and parking is poor.
Went to a vendor sponsored security conference. Beautiful facility.
Museum is a waste of time and space. As a college sports fan, I was really looking forward to some cool artifacts or unique exhibits. You start the tour off in a room with kiosk for different sports with nothing more than wikiepdia like list of each National Champion. I can find this list on the internet, this is not unique or interesting. Upstairs was like a cheap video game parlor of poor interactive exhibits. I have seen better displays at a small town public library. If you want to kill 45 mins in Indy, go ahead but if you are looking for a unique NCAA experience, you will be disappointed.
A place for the whole family to learn about ncaa and have fun!
It is full of history and fun interactive game.
I expected more.. some of the interactive exhibits didn't work.
Its fun and interactive. Good for all ages!
There isn't a ton to do here - we could do everything in 30 minutes - but they do have a few neat things like playing virtual sports with real balls (football, baseball).
Very nice place with lots of information about NCAA Sports history. But seemed like there should be some more about current Champions as the kiosks were not updated with especially Division 1 School 2018 results
Cool place for college sports buffs. Lots of fun history behind how the NCAa began and each of the currently recognized sports. Also highlighted how women's sports began to enter the field in the college realms as well. You could spend about an hour here and get a quick snapshot or really soak in all the knowledge in about half a day. Fun activities for kids and adults who like to be kids too!
Cool museum. They even have a basketball court with markings where famous basketball shots were made that you can attempt. My son loved the computerized baseball and football throwing game.
I've been here twice now as a teacher with our 8th grade students on a field trip. It's been fun and enjoyable for the kids both times. The staff are friendly and helpful. You can tell they are big college sports fans, and they know a lot of history. There's an 8 minute video you can watch about the origins of the NCAA, and then there are interactive displays of all the official sports with information about them on the first floor. Upstairs, there is a small basketball court that demonstrates how the sport has changed through the years. There are also a few other interactive exhibits upstairs. There are two Candy Crush touchscreen games, a thing where you can test your vertical leap, and two areas where you take shots on the goal for soccer with a game. Good time!
I had my 50th High School Reunion there. Excellent place to visit anytime. :-)
For this to be the ncaa hall of champions, I was expecting more. Thankfully, it's only $5 so it is not a complete let down when you factor in the cost.
It was very neat to learn about the history of the NCAA and actually learn that a couple more sports are actually played in college.
You don't walk in a tour but the museum was still nice.lot of interesting college sports artifacts and encouraging quotes as well.
Worth the price of admission ($5) only because the price of admission is low. If you're going to see something specific, it's probably fun to see some memorabilia or stats for your favorite college, otherwise, the displays on the bottom floor were pretty boring. The top floor has some fun activities (tiny basketball court, interactive football/soccer/baseball game, other displays), but it's not enough to pass more than an hour tops. Parking is in an underground lot that is across the canal. Parking is $5 with validation after visiting the Hall of Champions.
Worth the trip!
Interesting and informative. Worth the price of admission
Fun place for the college sports fan!
So much fun. Went here twice in one weekend.
A great place to spend some time. My family loved it, the interactive games, the scavenger hunt, the theatre, were all top notch. The ambassadors were also very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely a must visit if you are in Indianapolis.
If you like college sports this a great place to go and learn and see some awesome info
Mississippi Valley State University enjoyed our visit to the NCAA Offices and the Hall of Champions! Great place and beautiful building. Thank you NCAA staff!
Fun experience for 5$. You will get some information about the different NCAA sports and there are some interactive experiences.
Great experience! Any sports fan will enjoy this!
I more so came for the hidden little park next to it. But the building is nice.
It's a really neat place if you are into sports. In the hallways by the conference areas, there are some gorgeous painting, illustrations, and photographs on the walls. Honestly, i liked those more than the exhibits on display in the main part of the building.
Good display of memorabilia but the interactive games were the best part. Luckily it wasn't crowded when we were there but I would see it being pretty I enjoyable if it was a busy day. For $5, it was good entertainment but don't expect to spend more than 2 hours inside.
Great place
Liked it! The interactive displays are great!
Great place to spend a couple of hours in downtown Indianapolis. Multiple interactive exhibits and games. My family enjoyed this venue. I would return.
Top Notch Facility !
They did a nice scavenger hunt for our students and gave the winning team a prize. Made the museum more exciting.
Loved it was amazing going through it looking at all the memory!
Great interactive stuff for kids and lots of learning.
Almost anything you ever wanted to know about college sports history is just waiting to be discovered on the banks of the downtown canal in Indianapolis. The NCAA Hall of Champions is a fun and educational way to spend a couple of hours, or more. From women's sports history (Vasser's women's baseball team in the 1800s) to all you ever wanted to know about college mascots. Sprinkled amongst the history are interactive displays that allow visitors to test their knowledge of college sports trivia, soccer skills, pitching skills, and basketball shooting. The minimal cost to enter, $5, was well money well spent considering the educational and entertainment value.
It's ok. Beautiful building and the outside/downtown area is cool!
Very fun place!
So much fun a football simulation room baseball simulation room plus an indoor basketball ball court those are just some of the things
Definitely a worthwhile visit. Fun to see the facts about all of the different sports.
Very cool place
An unbelievable experience. Best sports museum I've ever seen. If you've never been to Indianapolis, I'd recommend you to come to the museum. Even if you dont like sports, you will like the museum
Pretty fun place overall. Took me and my wife about an hour to go through it all. There isn't a whole lot to do if you don't have kids with you though.
I enjoyed myself very much
The interactive booths were fun, but wish there were more.
Kids loved it
Fun and interactive. Great place for a team meeting.
Always a good time! Promotes lots of activity whole there! Enjoy thoroughly!
An OK museum for sports fans. Interesting exhibits.
Love this place. Great building. Great for events and meetings. Good food, good service, nice space.
In Indianapolis for a conference and the social event was held at the NCAA, a little crammed for space with over 500 ppl, but the facilities looked good. Very interesting history.
Great museum to go to! Lots of interactive games and it changes all the time. For $5, you can’t beat it.
Really nice area - centrally located parking garage that is not crazy expensive. Pedestrian only area with lots of open space that connects to the canal. Numerous other museums and places to visit in walking distance. Museum itself is dirt cheap - $5/adult $3/kid I think. First floor is a bit boring and basic. Top floor all interactive and hands on. My kids spent about an hour here and enjoyed it. Worth an hour visit for sure but don't expect much more than that - you get what you pay for.
NALCAA Dinner - Wonderful Venue
I agree that it could be a bit more expansive, but the interactive exhibits are such a blast. From the awesome trivia games to compete with your friends to shooting baskets from spots based on legendary NCAA basketball moments, the interactivity really makes the experience.
Assumed the would be more to it, took less than ab hour to see everything.
Good event space. Food was good, staff was nice and attentive. The coffee was excellent.
Vey small. Wrestling no penn state
Great place to go for a bit uf fun and to learn some cool facts! Not busy at all when I went. Some cool activities for kids to enjoy as well as the adults. It's not as big as I thought it would be bit it is well sized. It is a bit of a walk from parking but is wheelchair accessible. Has a nice view of the river as well.
To me personally, this isn't a very exciting place. However, my 11 and 8 year old sons love it! They're huge sports trivia nerds. We spent a few hours and they weren't ready to go. I did like the movie about Pres. Roosevelt and the history of NCAA. Also, the staff was amazing with the kids. So friendly and outgoing.
This place is amazing from the pictures and statue's, to the great people and staff working there.
Such a cool place and a hidden gem of sorts in Indianapolis. My kids love shooting baskets in the gym but learn a LOT about the various NCAA sports in the exhibits.
Not as much to see as I was expecting. Also there was a couple of class field trips going on, so missed some exhibits. Other wise it was fine.
Sort of underwhelming
We thought the first floor was fun and interesting and then we got to the second floor, which was even better. So many interactive exhibits! We learned a lot and had a great time!
With the billions of dollars this organization makes off the backs of athletes, you would think there might be more exhibits, history, etc. You can maybe spend a 1/2 hour here tops.
Great place
Visited to take pictures. Receptionist was uninviting.
Historic
We went on a field trip with our youngest to the NCAA Hall of Champions. I don't watch much college sports so I didn't have high expectations but was really impressed! We all had a really good time with all of the exhibits they have for people of all ages. Very interactive! I didn't expect to see my college alma mater, College of Mt. St. Joseph and tribute to Lauren Hill. It was very touching and having a mother currently suffering from terminal brain cancer, means even more.
Great interactive exhibited
Limited open hours. Neat space.
This is a good museum, but it is a bit lacking. The first floor left me rather disappointed that we paid, but at least the second floor is great! The whole museum is very interactive, but is only something I would want to go to one time. A good thing about it is there is a student discount!
Educational sports Museum
Great field trip with my summer camp kiddos.
