Shout out to the officer who stopped on 465S before the 56th ST/Shadeland on Wed evening to push my truck to a safe area off the shoulder of the interstate. My kids were with me and you could see I was scared being so close to traffic. Thank you for making us feel safe.

Brought my two year old here, just so we could get out of the house, he loved it. Pretty cool memorabilia. Cars, bikes, a morse code station. If you're worried about the area its in, dont be. Plenty of offiicers around to stop any unwanted crime/drama.

Very disappointed, took my grandsons, they were really excited to go even wore their officer tee shirts, however, never got to talk to an officer, sit in the police car , and had to ask for a police sticker! Not for ages 3 or 5years! It could have been set up better.

Torie Harris

Love it! Great free place to take the kids for about a half hour to an hour and let them look at all the neat stuff and play in the police car.

Great collection of Indiana history.

Dee Luna

It's small, but it is an entertaining piece of Indiana history. If you have about 15-30 minutes, you could go through the whole thing. There are displays of cars, different uniforms from over the years, a memorial to officers felled in the line of duty, and various other things such as the drunkometer (pictured) and various weapons used by the police over the years. The nice detail is that it's a free thing to do as well.

Jack Spencer

Great place to see history. Spent almost an hour touring the museum. The kids today need to see it and know what it takes to protect you. Its not a game, people do die to protect us.

Monica Gatton

We drove over an hour to see the Indiana Police Museum. We were informed that the hours were 10-3, but we arrived shortly after 12, it was posted they were our for lunch until 1:30. We sat around waiting until then, and then returned at 1:30. No one was there and we were there until 1:50pm. We called after 15 minutes and no one answered the phone. Disappointed.

Matthew Holland

Free admission (donations accepted and encouraged), and a nice visual tour of the history of the Indiana State Police. There are cars, a scavenger hunt for children, and artifacts such as the first Breathalyzer invented and old polygraphs. There is a cool section on John Dillinger as well. Be aware, the Museum is only open during the week and the 3rd Saturday of every month (12-4 PM). There is also a small gift shop with hats, clothing and other items.

Free, small, but good piece of history. very nice

My review is on the viral video of the 4 officers lip synching. They happen to do this when cops are most vulnerable especially from BLM. Bless You ALL. This is just what we needed during current USA events to make us proud of our police. #ProudAmerican, #BlueLivesMatter, #AllLivesMatter.

Thank God for the ISP.

Bill Robbins

Small museum showing ISP and local police history. Near the Eternal flame memorial and the Fallen Officers monument. Also home to a Pokemon go gym and 2 pokestops.

Kevin Powell

Very nice, but smaller than expected.

Jerry McCory

The state police museum is a great place to visit if you have even the slightest interested in law enforcement history.
