As you can see it reaches an feddbacks average is almost the top, and it's founded on a high number of scores, so we can conclude that the score is very accurate. If people have bothered to evaluate when they are happy, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to place feddbacks when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Museum is classified in the category of Museum.

Small but nice place. Cool 40s apartment layout upstairs!
Awesome place and a must stop if you're traveling Rt. 66. Reasonable prices!
If you're looking for pieces of Route 66 history from Illinois this is the place to be! It takes a nice amount of time to go through everything, and even with that, I'm sure that you'll need another visit or two in order to see it all. Free to the public, and only a 90 minute drive south of Chicago!
Amazing museum, nice staff. Ran into Mr. Robert Russell, mayor of the town, who is very friendly and enthusiastic. Had a wonderful time with family in Pontiac.Thank you guys.
Did a Drive By , DIDN'T STOP
Very nice, informative. Nostalgic. Great place to visit.
If you have the chance go see this place!
What a little treat. Free small town museums?. Yes please! Definitely worth swinging by if you're passing through. Also, the war museum next door is a not miss.
Beautiful place, many articles and things to see.
The best place in Illinois to get info on traveling Rt 66
Friendly & knowledgable - but not annoying or clingy greeting person. Truly impressive displays. Very clean, bright, roomy (except for military museum upstairs which was claustrophobic - but ya can't have both space & stuff). Building was outstanding - they just don't build like that anymore. Gorgeous wood restored to it's former glory. (One room with art was a jail cell...)
Great place, had a great time
I love this free museum with the War Museum on top. My Grandfather's uniform is here. I hope they stay open a long time. Would love to buy souvenirs if they had any.
Bus and VW van are amazing. Definitely worth the stop and a look around. Free and opportunity to donate. Friendly staff :)

Nice museum, stopped in because it is in the Abe Lincoln national heritage area to get a passport stamp. Really nice place, learned a few things about Route 66, staff was informative. Stop in if you are in the area and have some time.
Worth stopping and also visit the war museum!
Very helpful lady great town.
A good history lesson for the kids. A lot of items from 1940s... Staffs are super friendly!
This little museum was not part of our vacation itinerary but it was worth the stop. The staff was wonderful and very knowledgable. The murals are a fantastic addition to the town. Makes for a quick side trip if you need a break from being in the car.
We were warmly greeted when we walked in, no admission fee but donations are welcome. Very interesting, the war museum is attached and has 100s of uniforms with a biography of the shoulder that wore it. The route 66 side had information and pictures from every Illinois town along the route.

It you are old enough to remember Rt. 66 before the interstate highway then you will appreciate this place.
I guess not being a member of the route 66 association there wasn't much information available on what each town was doing.
Epicenter of the downtown Pontiac that is covered by beautiful murals.
Very friendly place here! We followed the blue footprints to see various other small museums throughout downtown Pontiac and the red footprints to see some of the 20 murals.
Great place to recapture what it was like when the mother road was at it's best. When main street America was alive. The staff is awesome as well

This entire town should get the recognition it deserves! And the museum and other things to do in that little town are amazing! We met the mayor and if he's anything like he was to us, I'd like to see him run for president! I can't wait to go back there again!

Great little car museum. Nice cars and a resource library. Good stop.
Top notch Route 66 stop. An astonishing variety of displays, my favourites being Bob Waldmire's bus and the information on the Walldogs. Pontiac has so many things to see and experience, but this museum really shouldn't be missed.

Very informative when it comes to Rt66 the mother road, the history of Rt 66 is so important to us in the USA we should never forget how many of us started are life using it with our parents. To this day it's still a great road to take for a slower pace, stopping and shopping along the way.
This is one of the best Route 66 museums in the state of Illinois. I highly recommend this place. Lots of history and displays that are related to the Route 66 history in the area. Don't miss visiting this place and make sure you buy a glass bottle soda from the old fashioned vending machine.
Must go! Fun place!
Large museum on three floors. A lot of route 66stuff plus hundreds of mankind in armed forces uniforms. Helpful staff.
This place is worth the visit. Has such great things to see and the area is very nice as well
Cool place, interesting displays
Great place
We did the entire old RT 66 trip in one shot. This was our first RT 66 museum / attraction that we stopped at during our trip. This museum, and the others attached to it, set a benchmark that no other museum / attraction could match! I love to photograph the eccentric, esoteric, eclectic, and there was enough to fascinate me for over an hour in just that one museum alone. We really appreciate the collections, the displays, the narrations, and the effort put into building the spirit of RT 66! I love the display of the hippie van. Great bathroom facilities.
