We went to see the George Kokines retrospective, in the second floor gallery space. It was very well presented, with lots of great details about his work.

Beautiful facility. The Greeks in America exhibit on the third floor is excellent. I'd recommend asking the staff on the best order to see the exhibits as we got a bit confused on the order.

If you've ever been curious about Greece this is the place to go. The gift shop has beautiful items. And the different floors provide an understanding of the Greeks through history. Fair geology of the islands is even discussed.

They place is huge very empty. I wish I would've seen old Greek ruins or something along the area. Parking we used some pizza joint in the corner. Some pieces were very interesting. Pictures below. Is what I found interesting.

This was a really interesting museum! Relatively new, and full of information, not only on ancient Greece, but also more modern Greece history, and Greek-American immigration. A bunch of nifty art as well. Much enjoyed!

Beautiful museum and great location in the heart of Greektown. However, the exhibits aren't in any set order and there isn't a good feel for greek history. I would recommend they may add guided tours to help the holes in their exhibits!

They could have provided more contents and objects in the permanent part of the museum for this fee. Sort of basics of Greek culture and their influence in the world are needed. The gallery was beautiful and well-presented though. The best part was the rooftop view.

Small but interesting. Features a good collection of Greek heritage aroung the country. It a collection of photos but its stories under each photo that makes the visit interesting. Love the museum shop. A little bit expensive but has high quality souvenirs or Greek authentic products.

Overall, pretty boring compared to how interesting Greek history can be. They could have had more tying the Greek development of democracy to our American revolution against monarchy, showing how that influence from the ages shaped America. More of the Greek revolution for independence and nationhood would have been nice as well. There was some about it but they have plenty of space for more interesting details, and it's too beautiful of a story not to tell. The only part I really liked was their library of Greek books and books on Greek-American life. Some books were obviously very fine and rare antique editions from the 1800s.

A great reminder of our heritage and so glad they are here. Espousing all things derivative from the ancient heritage of democracy and freedom applicable to today's social and cultural issues with topical speakers and other events, Greek or not. All are welcome and a beautiful facility able to host parties and other private events. I've been a part of both sides and had great experiences all around.

Nice small museum in Greek town. There are 3 floors. The 1st floor has a store and a small exhibition on the migrants arriving by boats on Greek territory with pictures of camps. Second floor shows the work of a Greek immigrant artist and was very beautiful. Third floor explains the war of Independence and the departure of many Greeks to the United States. This exhibition was interesting but sometimes a bit confusing.

Wow! We took our 5th and 6th graders on a field trip and the program was amazing! The kids analyzed mock artifacts and made ancient Greek toys.

Staff not very helpful. Seem to be indulged with their computers at the front desk. The Place has some interesting exhibitions about Greece and its terrain and people. However I found the museum very boring, ten bucks to get in, and nothing about it has any kind of interaction with the public. Great place to nap because it is so quiet. Save your money and buy a gyros.

quite a spacious space located in the heart of Greektown...very architectural space to it. Large windows. All white décor. There are 2 floors to this museum, I believe. Looks so unassuming on the outside but when you walk in, you are in for a pleasant surprise as to how beautiful it is inside.

Small museum that can be done in a matter of 2 hours that avoids standing/walking for hours on end. Exhibits constantly rotating (check website to see what exhibits are on display). Plenty of places to sit throughout the museum and there are several Greek restaurants within walking distance of the museum to eat afterwards.

Clean museum with three floors and a rooftop. But nothing really there. Not too interesting and was empty when I went. Only visited as it was in my way out of Chicago and had time to spare.

It is a beautiful museum. It has 3 floors and each one tells a story of its own. The first floor has amazing artwork from Anthony Quinn. The second floor contains a lot of artifacts. The third floor contains stories and items from immigrants. It is very well planned out and is one of the most unique buildings in town. It is a hidden gem
