Great history lessons. Very friendly firefighters working it. Great for young kids too

A lot of great information, it is set up to have a guided tour. They also have another warehouse with a lot of apparatus. Great information about Chicago fires that changed the way thing are done and codes that were changed to save lives.

This is an absolute gem of a museum. Make sure you visit during their open house.

Great museum housed in a hundred year old firehouse. There are 3 fire trucks and tons of memorabilia. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. This is a must see for any fan of the Chicago Fire Department, or Chicago history in general.
