We really enjoyed visiting this museum. They had rooms set up to look like rooms from the past (an old dentist office, dining room, sweet shop, etc).

It was fun. We need to support these kinds of projects, keep them going. I enjoy museums of all sorts, and this is definitely not a big-time or properly-funded endeavor. It's an educational and (thus) enlightening experience. Just go! Visit! Experience and support! That's all; just check it out.

This is the kind of museum I enjoy. There were a lot of local business history as well as family and household items. The kind of things that you might find if you are trying to research your family or community history. This is not the themed type of museum where you feel like those running the museum are trying to teach history from their perspective and in the process removing all the individuality of each item's history and of the item's owners. But it is rather like rummaging through the attic of someone who loved their home town and family so much that they wanted to save as much of it as possible. It is much larger than I expected but fill to the brim with fascinating glimpses into Caldwell's past.
