Absolutely a must when visiting the area! Such great history there! They have a jr ranger program that gives the kids (all ages) things to see and find! When completed they are "sworn in" as jr rangers! Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable!

The history here is amazing & they interact with your kiddos. My nine year old loved it & they give you a quiz sheet to carry around with you which gets the kids involved even more. Very nice display.

The Farragut State Park Brig Museum is on of the best museums in the state. It's open from Memorial Weekend through Labor Day. Exhibits are constantly mixed up so if you haven't been there in a while it will be a new experience for you! Great WWII history!

I sort of bumped into this place while trying to figure out what to do while my kids were spending the day at nearby Silverwood Amusement Park. I loved it! The exhibits are well presented and numerous. The bronze sculpture and garden at the entrance is a must-see. Make time to view the video toward the end of your museum visit. It would be easy to spend a couple of hours here if this type of museum is of interest to you.

Awesome and informative! Took my 94 year old, Navy, WWII, LSM96, veteran uncle and he was awestruck. Please take your family and learn about the wonderful and important history of this, now, park.
