So much fun! On the smaller side for the price but my 3 year old could pet the Ray's for hours! Lots of different fish you can pet. You can also feed the various animals for an extra cost varying between $2 and $3.

Cool interactive displays. Feed the sharks and a coin press. For about an hours worth of funn but not for someone looking for a few hours of fun. U go threw it quick admiring the cool neautiful fish and petting sharks n ur done before u know it so for a full day of fun.. No for something to do entertain ur children for an hour and still have time to do more in ur day perfect!

A small, very nice aquarium. Happy animals in clean exhibits, with multiple interactive touch tanks. Employees are knowledgeable, and super friendly! The cost equals out to the same for a movie and snacks in a theater, but you could easily spend a few hours here, especially if you or your family enjoy salt water tanks and animals. They also have a variety of reptiles, and an area where you can feed parrots for an extra fee. Lots of parking, with no time limit or parking fee. Very close to the mall and other food options.

Easy to spend a couple of hours here. The rays and the sicker fish are the big hits with the kids (and most adults) because you can get your hands wet. It's not a huge aquarium, but you don't pay a huge price to get in either. Very enjoyable.

I love this place! There are so many kinds of fish to look at but also turtles and birds and snakes. I could spend the whole time at their touch tanks petting the sharks and sting rays! It's a great place for kids but someplace I love to visit as well even though I'm an adult

While not as large as aquariums in larger cities, their variety was good. They have multiple tanks where you can touch the fish and rays (and feed them too). If you get there for feeding time, you can watch them feed the rays, eels, chameleons, etc.

My sister and I came here for her birthday. It was AMAZING. Now remember, it's a tiny little aquarium in Idaho. I don't mean it's amazing like the Atlanta aquarium. But for what it is you really get your money's worth. There are many displays and lots of different kinds of fish to see; they have three interactive feeding tanks where you can feed and pet fish, rays and sharks. This was our favorite part. They also have a tiny aviary up front where you can feed birds. There's a room for educational videos though none were playing while we were there. The staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. One of the rays got sassy while we were feeding and splashed my sister and they came over to see if everyone was alright and brought us a towel. Absolutely one of the best places in Boise I've been to. Would 100% recommend.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time here, the employees were knowledgeable, polite, and answered any questions we had. The different fish and other animals throughout the aquarium were super interesting, especially since most had some information posted next to them. I also love the coin machines where you can imprint a penny with something, I got the Manta Ray this time! :D My favorite was the Ray tank, my girlfriend had a lot of fun petting them and it was definitely something to watch. :)

The aquarium is great for all ages. It allows little kids to run around and put their hands in the tanks while the fish run away but also allows young adult people to feed the fish or just learn about them. The staff are also great. They will try anything to make your experince one of a kind. If you want a fun experince head to the aquarium of Boise. Trust me you'll enjoy it.

We had a great time there with our grandchildren. Even though small the aquarium is full of Aquatic Life with areas the children can explore with their hands in their eyes. There are pools or they can touch different Aquatic Life. There are tanks with fish that are bigger than some of the children. We all had a great time there. It is wheelchair-accessible.

Feedings were awesome, I've been to huge aquariums and this one is really special. It was my daughter's birthday and she loved it! The workers gave her extra fish and seaweed to feed the fish because it was her birthday! It was our first visit, they made it really memorable!

Staff was just awesome! I brought my service animal in and everyone was very accommodating with her! Brought her a bowl of water! They were so happy she was there. Ray and shark tank was great. Was very humid and hot in the building but that just added to the experience. All the animals are well cared for. Small facility, but the staff and care to the animals made up for it.

Small but very fun! I have a two year old and a six year old and we all had a great time. The entire place is set up to be interactive for kids. My favorite was feeding the rays and petting them. We also got to feed tropical fish and cichlids. There are beautiful lorikeets to feed too. They have a few really big tanks with sharks and grouper I think. There are also a lot of reptiles in beautiful habitats. We got to pet a pretty and super sweet iguana and watch her eat her lunch. The handler taught us all kinds of interesting things about reptiles. Everything is nice and clean. The little gift shop has some really cute stuff. Tickets to get in were inexpensive and so was the fish food. I think this is a place we would enjoy coming more than once if we lived in the area.

Season holders and loving it! We purchased during the Black Friday at half price, so far the family deal has already payed for itself. The staff loves teaching the kids about the animals and will even bring some out on request. This is a good local business.

A really fun stop on our road trip. Our 11 year old enjoyed looking at all of the exhibits, petting the sea animals, and most especially FEEDING THE STING RAYS!!! (It is quite possible I enjoyed feeding the sting rays the most!!!!) Modest in size but they do a great job with what they’ve got to work with!

For Boise this aquarium is pretty awesome and the keep making improvements all the time. The best way to buy tickets is on Groupon, they are $6 each. It's not very big, however, it keeps getting better and better as time goes on. The kids favorite thing is feeding and petting the stingrays! Make sure to check the busy times online before you go to make sure there's not a ton of other people there.

The Boise Aquarium is perfect for a weekend activity! They have all sorts of different sea life and they also do birthday parties! They have a ray fish pool where you can feel them as they swim by and wave their fins at you! And if you are lucky enough to be there during feeding time (between 1-2pm) you can even see the eel come out of its hiding spot in the big tank with the sharks! I had hoped to see an octopus and seahorses but no luck

Very expensive for the size of the place. Prices are slightly better than Chicago's Shedd Aquarium for less than 40 exhibits, most small 15 gallon tanks. There are several touch exhibits and the kids did love those. I would not return if I'm back in the area.

I was excited to go to both the aquarium and zoo in Boise. The zoo was nice, but the aquarium was a blast! The Poison Dart Frog exhibit was being cleaned and that was a disappointment, but feeding the fish and seeing all the amazing creatures was fun! We'll worth the cost.

I absolutely loved it here! I had two kids younger kids with me and they had so much fun. The staff was super friendly and one of the ladies made a point to tell us some fun facts about the animals there which my 4 year old loved! I only wished they had more of a shark exhibit. Overall we were very happy with our visit.

What an awesome aquarium!! It may be smaller than some, but there's more interaction than the larger ones. I love how the employees are there interacting with the customers. They will answer questions about the fish, reptiles, and birds they have. I have been to other aquariums, and this one is at the top of the list!!! I enjoyed going through it with my son, daughter in law, little granddaughter and husband. Thank you for the beautiful memories I cherish!!

I got to pet a stingray! I got to pet a stingray!It's hard to imagine the Aquarium of Boise has come as far as it has. I think it started off as an idea in Nampa next to the highway, but the idea fell through. After much more struggle and looking hopeless it finally opened in Boise next to Boise Town Square mall. I had been reluctant. Then during Memorial Day I had this random thought for my sister and I to do, "Let's go to that aquarium!This place is neat. Strangely, it is better than going to Zoo Boise. Of course, Zoo Boise does have more animals that are not underwater and they have a tiny jelly fish exhibit. They also have the same exact items in the gift store. I did buy some stuff in the gift store because I was feeling that awesome.

Fun little aquarium! Not very big but had some great fish. The best part is the hands on pools. Reminded me of Sea World's entrance where you can touch sting rays and other fish. You can even buy food and feed the fish. Super fun! Will definitely bring and kids back someday.

This place definitely does not look like an aquarium from the outside. More like a warehouse. But it’s bigger on the inside. Lot of things to do and learn about. The touch tanks were awesome! I loved the manta ray touch tank. They had a free turtle showing while we were there. It was fun. One star down cuz it was so small. But I might have been spoiled have lived near Monterrey Bay Aquarium. But since it is in a warehouse this can move eventually.

I LOVE this place! Yes, it may be small, but it is still a gem! My son is two and loves that everything is at his height to see. Petting the manta rays is also a favored past time. We spend about an hour or two here every time we visit. A fun and special place to go for an afternoon.

This is not like any aquarium I've ever been to, but we really enjoyed it, and the kids loved it. Hand feeding the fish is quite an experience, especially the Manta Ray's, although they really nick you for the food. No whales, great, white sharks or sea lion shows, but you get up close and personal with the fish they do have. I would recommend this.

An absolutley awesome experience! I know it's no where near as large as others, however, all the touchable exhibits and the friendly knowledgeable staff makes it a "must do" activity with the kids. They got to pet stingrays, a python, an iguana and even fish! It doesn't break the bank either, not even to splurge and feed the stingrays and the birds!

Despite it being a small aquarium, it was very well kept and the animals all looked to be in good condition and well cared for. Loved the accessablitity of the touch tanks and the low viewing windows for the baby; she could see almost everything from her stroller and had a blast watching all the animals.

We enjoyed visiting here. It's a very small aquarium, especially for the entrance fee. You can buy food to feed the fish and rays. For the cost, I'd say it's too small of a place to buy an annual membership because I don't foresee the average person wanting to go often enough for it to be cost effective.
