A small but interesting museum spotlighting the historic sugar mill, as well as the lives of those Hawaians who were exhiled to a colony life due to community fears of Hanson's Disease (leprosy) and yet made lives for themselves and accomplished so much despite the hardships. Inspiring and uplifting. Worth a visit.

(Translated by Google) We really enjoyed the visit to the museum and the old sugar cane factory. In the museum there was a lot of interesting information about the inhabitants of the leprosy station. The sugar cane factory is well restored and shows in detail how the white gold used to be extracted from sugar cane. (Original) Uns hat der Besuch des Museums und der alten Zuckerrohr-Fabrik sehr gut gefallen. Im Museum gab es viele interessante Informationen über die Bewohner der Lepra-Station. Die Zuckerrohr-Fabrik ist gut restauriert und zeigt im Kleinen, wie dass früher aus Zuckerrohr das weisse Gold gewonnen wurde.

Very well documented history of the sugar history on Moloka'i. There was not much to see as far as the coffees of Moloka'i but plenty to buy.
