Love the town of Makawao, great little museum and shops!

A small town museum (a little over 300sqft) that details the Paniolo cowboys. The museum sits on the main drag that runs thru town, sandwiched between the various clothing and art boutiques. There is free parking along the main street as well as free parking in a general community parking lot around the corner past the town library.

Nice little museum with interesting history of the town, it's cowboys and Ethel Baldwin who contributed so much to this area. No fee to enter but donations are appreciated. Some interesting historical books are available and some postcards. One person was working there when I went and she was knowledgeable about the area and it's history and was happy to answer any questions.
