At the museum you can learn about native birds, plants, and history with the knowled staff and there is a great gift shop for books, tees, and souvenirs of your visit.

It's a small museum, but it's cool. I always stuff more cash in the donation box than they ask for, because it's the right thing to do. Quick visit and informative. The staff are generally polite and helpful

Great place to get a birds eye view and plan your hikes. Also your donation is a good way to give some support to the volunteers and preservation efforts.

Not exactly comprehensive but provided a nice education of some history and more specifically the natural environment. Take a listen to disc 2, tracks 1-14 to hear all the bird calls of the endemic species that you can only find up here on the island, then go outside on a trail and listen for them. We heard many from the disc and it was a delight! At 3.6 rating currently, this place is underrated in my opinion.

You need to stop by. It is just the thing to do. Read a bit on history, but you wont burn too ich time here.

Good content, but space could use some TLC. Displays were disheveled, and the exhibits didn’t seem to tell a coherent story about the area. One bonus: there is a bar next door if you’re thirsty.

Some of the worse customer's service you'll ever experience, unfriendly and disrespectful staff, at least the two older ladies I dealt with, I don't want to cast a bad light on everyone who works there, but those two sure left me and others around me speechless, and could not make me feel worse about just being there to disturb their day, not to mention anything else.

ギフトショップを兼ねているコケエの自然史博物館。小規模ながらもカウアイ島に生息する野鳥や動物の展示説明や地形の模型、天候、自然に関するパネル展示があります。コケエのトレイルガイドや植物のパンフレットなど、ここでしか手に入らないもあります。入館料は強制ではありませんが、任意で一人3ドルの寄付。売店で何かを買って、売り上げに貢献するというコクア(手伝い)もナイスだと思います。

Great place to get information about the park. Specifically trails and history. Has a lot of souvenirs as well at a high price. Reference the trail map.

This is a great place to stop for maps or just information on the area. The workers were all fairly knowledgeable too which was great. They also have a smaller gift shop, but it is expensive as all get out. We wanted to stop again on our way back down from hiking, but they closed at 4pm, just as we were pulling up.

Small, but very informative. We liked the history of the area. Enjoyed the displays of local and invasive birds. They have a great trail map for $3.

Apart from being a small museum this is an excellent place to obtain information about the hiking trails in the area. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and they have a good info on current conditions. I also highly recommend buying the maps they sell there. Both Koke'e state park 6 the whole island map. They contain a lot of information about hikes.

Nice little museum that describes the island, including local wildlife and how the island came to form. Good place for a short little stop on your way up the canyon.

Pequeño museo situado en un campo rodeado de bellos jardines, pollos y gallinas. Al lado tiene un restaurante super acogedor. Todo es muy campestre. En el museo se muestran piezas y fotografías de los ante pasados, muestras de fauna y flora. Conchas y caracoles. Venden recuerditos y souvenirs alusivos al lugar. Libros y mapas.
