It's a wonderful place, but it is a bit rickety. There's an area in the second floor entrance where the floor boards feel like they might give way right under my feet.

Small museum space for local artists with short duration showings. Upstairs community theater productions in a limited seating space. Some music and theater classes offered.

Great place to see art when you are strolling the streets of old downtown Hilo. Exhibits last for the whole month. Also visit their website as they have one day workshops. Across from a small park with a pond and also there is an old and big Banyan Tree worth to look at it. Please do not climb on them!

Its called Hawaii Cultural Center but theres another cultural beside Hawaii artifacts thats why i gave it 2stars, i luv the Hawaiian dancers and thier outsits are gorgeous & color coordinated beautiful and the naked women w/paint on her didn't strike me as a native Hawaiian women..
