This is a great museum that not very many people know about. Be sure to go inside to the reception desk and ask for a parking pass.

Nice place to study, pretty cool museum. The building may have one or more unexpected classes (e.g. my CS lecture last year) in it.

The paper making museum is pretty interesting but the building is primarily used for research. Quiet place to study though!

It was awesome. What a great presentation of the history of papermaking

What a wonderful free museum right in the Heart of the City! We learned so much about the paper making process, and saw the equipment and people who are very dedicated to keeping the craft of paper making (by hand) alive. Free admission, just pay a liitlr bit for parking.

Best free museum in Atlanta

Informative museum, geared for adults. Children would probably be mindlessly bored. Good to kill 45 mins. Free admission, donations discreetly accepted.

Great experience, we took our time (~2.5 hours) to read almost everything in the museum. Thankfully we were told from the start that they are open till 6 pm Mon-Fri despite the official closing time of 5. We were getting ready to wrap it up by 6 when the nicest security guard told us that we can take as long as we needed, so we were finally done around 6:30. Thanks for an awesome experience! BTW, we found free parking on Hemphill Ave.

I took some students for a summer program. I admit when you take children to a "paper" museum you already think this is going to be pretty boring but being optimistic I thought since it's a paper museum there's got to be something they're going to do to make this exciting. I was wrong. It was very lackluster. The staff was nice. That place was clean but we only saw two sections that we got to see. The paper making section was only fun part for us (the teachers). My only qualm is that it must be more exciting for students.

A lot more here than I expected... great exhibits about the history and production of paper. When I visited, they were also hosting an excellent exhibit of paper art.

One of the coolest museums I’ve ever been to! If you’re a writer and a book lover, you have to see this place. I learned a lot about Paper Making from clay tablets to book binding. Entrance is free and it’s so worth the time. It was also easily accessible by bus.
