Woke up at 6:30am to register for family free day @ 7am couldn't find the proper link any where after 20 minutes of searching right a 7am I am given the link by someone on facebook and its sold out. Very dissapointed in the way this event registration was set up. I even called and there was no info or mention of the family free day or even a person to ask about it. Edited to say: through continued trying we were able to get tickets for 1:30 pm. We enjoyed our experience at the museum all though we definetly didn't enjoy the free day confusion.

tahlia

Took my 3 years old he loved it

Susan Jackson

Wonderful and exciting place for children to play and learn. Staff was extremely helpful and cognizant of rhe children's needs Would highly recommend

Deanna W.

Wonderfully interactive museum for little kids!

I have been here multiple times with my nieces and they enjoy it all the time. Our visit is usually around 2-3 hours. The climbing exhibit, Gateway to the World, is newer and our favorite experience. Throughout the day is a performance space with shows about music, dance, books and much more. No food is allowed from outside (unless a party booked, I believe) and only a drink and snack vending machine upstairs. So eat before or plan on going somewhere after. If you can get here late weekday afternoons, it usually less busy, but it always fun for the kids. We have attended the last two Halloween events and my niece just loves it!!

The school I teach at comes here for our annual field trip. I was highly upset this year when I tried to use the nursing room to pump breast milk for my infant son. There was a man with no children in the room and when I asked an employee if they could remove him the response I got was, “He is free to be in there with his family and I can find you a private room”. I responded with, “that is the private room I’m supposed to feel comfortable in and his family is not with him.” The employee gave me a lot of attitude and the next time I checked the room he was gone. I don’t think it’s appropriate for a company to allow a man to be in a room when women have their breasts out.

Le Lackey

The Doc McStuffins exhibit was Amazing!!!!! Truly amazing.

Thomas Kearns

The employee Cassandra was extremely helpful. Will come back because of the great service she demonstrated.

Laura Roberts

I went with my friend on free family day. It was so much fun for the kids. The different stations they have are so unique. The different stations are created as if it was real. Fr the kitchen and grocery store, to the farm with the tractor and milking cows etc. I will be going again next year. So creative for children

Leah Lynn

This wasn't what I imagined. Louisville, ky children's museum is so much better and a far better price. This place is small and everything is crammed in. The craft room is always full and kids are shoulder to shoulder. I know Atlanta is compact but the price is far too high for what it is. We won't be going back and I don't reccomend. Especially when some things didn't work, were broken, or exhibits missing.

Darren Neal

Really fun place for kids $18 per person (kids price is the same) Parking starting at $15 in the area. We love hands on children museums and this was an excellent experience for our kids. It's nice and clean and well maintained. The staff is very active in cleaning up after the kids and that helps ensure toys are available for everyone. Check out the pics for more info on the the different attractions. I would say an hour is more than enough time to spend here. You can leave and come back if you get your hand stamped. You can eat upstairs but it may be filled with kids on field trips. You must bring your own food.

AJ Burr

My 4 year old loved it. There is a huge climbing thing that she was playing in and then spent most of the time in the Doc McStuffins caring for stuffed animals. It says it's for ages like 3-8 but I think 7-8 year olds may be pushing it to think that this would entertain them.

Maureen Czaykowsky

My family & I had a great time at the Children's Museum of Atlanta! My little one is 15 months and he had a blast! We went around 4 on a Saturday, less crowded.

R R

Being our first time, we got tickets for this place to see the curious George exhibit. It took 45mins to park, 25mins to walk to the place. Get in and there's only like a few things around each corner for kids to do. This would be good for ages 2-8ish. Expensive for not many things to do.

Jos Wassupjos

Very cool place to go with kids, but quite expensive when adults have to pay the full fee... keep in mind that there’s no restaurant inside. You can get a stamp to leave and come back again though.

Rebekah Galloway

Loved it and my 2 yrs old son even loved it more. I just wish it wasn't so very expensive to book a basic birthday party though.

Laura Williams

Big, bright play spaces. Busy with field trip groups until 1pm weekdays. Helpful staff. Great place for a birthday party.

K Tru

Perfect for 2-4 year olds on a hot blistering day. Definitely worth the money. Great way to incorporate learning with play

Alexandra North

Really fun place for kids.We went on free admission day today and had a blast. This place is so cool. All the staff was attentive and very friendly.Had so much fun with my sister's son. There is a lot to do for all kids with different interests. They have physical activities like climbing, artistic activities like painting or acting, many games. We had a great time. The best is the 'working kitchen' in the model Waffle House.Definitely recommend checking it out.

Zaiah Calvin

I went with my friend on free family day. It was so much fun for the kids. The different stations they have are so unique. The different stations are created as if it was real. Fr the kitchen and grocery store, to the farm with the tractor and milking cows etc. I will be going again next year. So creative for children

Andrew Perry

Let me be clear. I am not a child. I have fun playing like a child here with my child. There is a lot to do for all kids with different interests. My kid and I love the ball area with its pneumatic tunnels and ramps. There is a water play area where they provide smocks so the kids dont get wet (as a parent that is a HUGE perk). There's a multi story crawl area for the kids to burm some energy too! (A little cramped for adults, Ive had to rescue a couple kids from it since it gets pretty high) Also they always have a rotating exhibit that features some new way to play and learn. But the best part, the BEST part, is the two hour nap the kid takes afterward. Never fails to put them to sleep afterward and give me a break.

Janine Gibbons

Fun learning experience. Kids enjoyed doc mcstuffins exhibit

sweetshar21

Great place to bring the family. There are lots of activities to keep the kids entertained for hours. Your children's imagination will run wild as they explore different interests (science, physical education, construction, cooking, and more). All in all, a great way to spend some time together and kill a few hours.

Sarah Casey

This place is so cool! So many cool realistic exhibits. We went for family free day today and my daughter had her birthday here a few years ago. Definitely recommend checking it out

ladyoliver oliver

My children love this place. it was very kid friendly A safe please to let little ones explore while using a hands on approach The staff is very big on security and trying to keep our little ones safe. 10out if 10 for me

CeCi Stephens

Amazing for kids. Lots of hands on activities really keeps kids interested .

Natasha Siso

This was more of a hands on play place instead of a museum. I thought it would be boring for my toddler because museums usually involve a lot of looking and not touching but this place was amazing. We both had a blast.

Amber Dennis

Loved loved loved this place. Had so much fun with my son and his special needs class. All the kids had a great time. We will be coming back. We love Atlanta

Bre Waller

The kids loved this place! What a great way to spend a family day together!

Simon Pooler

Our son had an awesome time. We built a mechanical grabber together then he painted a dog face with his mum. Great place and very friendly staff. I had a blast with the wind blaster on my wife hair. She's still upset about that. =D

Deepa K

My kids 4 & 9 had been waiting since long to go here. When we went there my 9yr old was very disappointed. Not much for older kids. My younger one enjoyed but not to the extend that we want to come back.

Ashley Ehmer

Amazing experience! So great for my kids while visiting from Akron, OH! Storytime was spectacular too for parents to take a break from the craziness! Such an awesome venture!

Mark Falanga Jr

Good place to take younger kids....older ones get bored quick.....basically a playground with some learning

G. Edward Mcilvain

My daughter had a lot of fun. My only complaint is that there was a lot of attractions that were broken.

Brittney Johnson

Great interactive child's facility. All the children were very excited to play with all the different stations setup. Painting on walls, an art class, and small show for kids to participate in. My son is 13months and he loved the sandbox, the doc McStuffins play area, the grocery area, and the big truck for him to drive. Pre-paying for parking is something I should have done. I will be going there again.

cesar arana

My son loved the museum. He could not decide what to explore next. Highly recommend this kids museum.

Jerilynae Pointer

My kid walked in, saw all the balls and immediately ran off. She had an absolute blast! All the staff was attentive and very friendly, it was clean, there was plenty for a variety of ages and I'm guessing some of the exhibits are temporary, so I'm sure they keep new stuff. It was big enough so we went on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded for anything. The sandboxes were our (her) favorite. We may try an art class that seems to run on the half hour next visit.

Angela M

Lots of fun for kids, but it could be a little more accommodating for parents: bigger bathrooms, stroller attendant, lunch lockers, more seating.

Anne McPherson

It's kind of small for how much you pay. It is nice that you can leave and come back with a day's ticket. There's a nice but small baby/toddler area, and a lot of there stuff is only accessible by bigger kids (i.e., too high for toddlers to reach). There was a really fun drama program while we were there, which was great.

Yulia

The museum is for kids from toddler age up to around 7. Be prepared to spend around 3 hours here. There’s lots to do and see, it’s very hands on. The staff are kid oriented and cheerful. Depending on the kid’s age, you could just sit at the entrance and watch them make friends and play, or you could spend the time exploring with them.

Ash

Kids have a ton of fun here. Cool interactive things to do that are educational and entertaining. A cool place to spend a few hours with the kids that you know they will love. From the kitchen to the farm, it has so many options of play that it will amaze you.

Jessie Sowers

Parking is expensive and there's a zoo of kids everywhere. The kids have fun but it's a bit painful for adults unlike other attractions that both enjoy.

rosa rodriguez

My baby boy loved this place! They had volunteers dressed up and act out plays and the place was large so there were a lot of activities for the kids to interact with each other. It’s a great place for kids to have fun and learn at the same time :)

Kevin Driver

Only giving this place two stars because staff is very friendly. Over-priced indoor playground. Adults have to pay to get in (which is ridiculous) and frankly, 2 and under should be free or discounted as most of the interactive stuff is geared towards older kids. I've been to the Columbia Children's Museum and that one is amazing- two stories of interactive play. Atlanta's is an overhyped indoor playground. Do your research before coming.

Rabah Barghouthi

Very nice place for kids, my kids love it and have great time there. Affordable should you pick yearly membership. Don't like the location as it's hard to find parking spot besides it's very expensive.

Moiya K

Great for kids under 8, but for a few more dollars you can take your family to Georgia Aquarium and EVERYONE could have fun. I've been to children's museums in Philadelphia and Miami and there was more to do. The things we did here you can get in a monthly science kit delivered to your home.

jennifer ramirez

The staff was amazing and so accommodating to my kids. They treat kids like little adults and I love it. The kids had a fabulous time. I have 4 year old and an 8 year old. The 8 year old had fun but I felt as if he was nearing the cut off. He seemed a little bored at times. But all in all the had an awesome time.

Valerie Cochran

We had a great time! They had plenty to keep a 1414-month-old busy for 90 minutes. I had to drag her out. Spent so much time in the kitchen and grocery store. After playing with the kinetic sand I want a kinetic sand table for me. Not the kids. We will definitely be back.

Sandra Siegel

Such a fun place! My 3 year old loves it here! Hours of play and he never runs out of things to do!

Henry E

Should have researched this first, it's not a museum. I was walking around the park and decided to take my child in after seeing the sign. This is an interactive play and learn center. Great interactive ideas for entertaining kids but at $20 per adult it's not worth the money just to watch your children play.

Lee Burns

This place has no flow to it, many of the "exhibits" weren't functioning properly, and there was very little if any explanation for the "science" behind the things they had out for the kids. There is a lot of potential here, but it mostly came across to me as an idea that was only partly thought through. Fun as an indoor playground, but far too expensive for one.

HBE LLC

10 Stars! Highly recommended. Educational and fun.

Jennica Wellings

Great place for the kids to enjoy with a lot of activities. Your kids will have a great time. They have physical activities like climbing, artistic activities like painting or acting, many games. Enough to keep you busy all day long. This is worth a visit.

Jocelyn Gray

We recently went with our family. The little ones had such a great time. The facility is clean as the staff is constantly around picking up items all over. The Doc McStuffins exhibit was extremely cute.

Wayne Scott

My daughter had a blast here today. I'm glad I took her. Definitely worth it to let your kids have a fun and educational play day.

Gaynelle Khan

First time here! It smelled clean!!! You know sometimes "kid" places are kinda germy smelling. Not this place smelled and looked clean. Kept our little one bust for hours and hours.

graycie simmons

Amazing to say the least! Michael is the BEST and my kids most favorite employee and person ever! He takes his time with the kids to make sure they are happy and to learn as much as they can there. I would rate it 10 stars if I could! We will definitely be back!

Stéphane Boyeau

Great environment for kids they have plenty to play with and learn. Not cheap though.

Jennifer Park

This place was a lot of fun! There's tons to do, and they put on periodic shows throughout the day and have special events on certain days. I went to the toddler jam on a Saturday morning. There are tons of people there so it can be hectic, and you may want to bring a change of clothes because there are areas with water, paint and sand. My daughter is only 9 months old so there wasn't as much for her to do, but she had fun with blocks and toy food. They had a pretend restaurant, grocery store, farm, tractor, forest area, science area and more. Lots of fun! I would definitely recommend.

Stuxnet Home-Group

Yeah, just don't. WAY over-priced for what it is. Although my kids had an ok time, the McWane Science Center or the Tellus Science Museum make this pile of excrement look like exactly what it is: ghetto *** Atlanta garbage. You are wasting your time, money, and immune system going to this place. The only reason I truly believe it was crowded was because most people who live in Atlanta are too ret***ed to drive out of that third world city and find a museum worth a d**n. I feel dirty ever having gone to this place and may have lasting PTSD. General Sherman is turning in his grave

P R

Of course 5 stars. Kids+activities=Fun!

Jennifer Hiers

The Children’s Museum was lots of fun. My kids had a great time. My daughter spent the whole visit in the grocery and farm section! The only down side is it does look like it’s had some wear and tear. ( which given how many kids visit, I’m not surprised!) so it could use some sprucing up. Would recommend.

Brittni Davis

For the price, they should offer food, and advertise for 5 years and under

Chelleb

Awesome time with 3 and 4 year old grand babies.

Tamara Sankey

Great experience for my children. Staff is friendly and lots of things for kids to learn and play

Buelah Williams

Very nice place. I love the reading / relaxation areas for parents that are tired. My kids had so much fun here.

Shylee Grunden

The only bad thing about this place is getting my kids to leave lol. You can bring snacks since there’s a good area upstairs! My kiddo had so much fun here!

Shawn

If you have small children this is the place to take them. It's not as expensive as the other attractions and not as crowded. My son had tons fun running around checking out all the stations and as an adult it was nice to seat back and relax.

Marsha Youmans

It has changed a lot since the last time I went years ago. There's a lot more for the kids to see and experience. Lots of sensory experiences. Our (field trip) tour guides were great as well. My only complaint is that myself and some other people I was with were bothered by the chlorine in the air from the "pond". It made our eyes burn.

Sara Ortiz-Romero

With two young children, I have been to my share of children’s museums. This one definitely stands out! I loved the organization of special activities for the children. As soon as we paid for our tickets they explained all the scheduled activities, so we were able to sign up for then right away. The kids painted with syringes and did a fun rocket craft that all of they loved. They also had a little play where all the kids had participated and had a blast. The kinetic sand pits were such fun as was the super market. My two year old loved that area! She also loved painting and the water area! My three year old loved the Doc McStuffins area but I think that’s a temporary exhibit. It’s a great fun and educational way to spend an afternoon!

Fritz Brown

This unique park for tots to school aged children is united around natural themes of water, exploration and discovery. Two-thirds of the park is made

R Chari

Fine but quite a bit smaller than we expected for a city this size and the pricing was similar to what you’d pay in other big cities. Would also agree with the other posts that charging adults full price makes the sting of admission worse. Definitely fun for younger kids up to about 6-7 but older than that won’t be intellectually stimulated here. Of the 7-8 experiment stations upstairs 3 weren’t functioning or broke. Good for a few hour afternoon or morning excursion with toddlers or young kids

PA Z

There needs to be this design of a fun moving, working space for kids in so many places. Some “exhibits” were broken. This is an interactive space made for kids. Sadly too much in my opinion was broken or not in use. The museum was setting up for a gala the next day. So not sure if those issues were I one time deal. Kids can go grocery shopping, order a meal a counter from another kid playing, receiving plastic food, paint on a glass wall- washed down every few minutes, sit on a tractor, climb ladders, slide down slides, make noise going down an interactive stairway and so much more.

Chris Guiton

Bring your kids here and have a awesome day.

Denice Chappell

Our visit today was our first time coming here. We chose to come here as a reward for our little one. She loved it!! There are lots of activities to do. The learning labs are fun and she was able to make her own bookmark and self- watering plant. The staff was friendly as well. Only thing is, we got thirsty and wanted a snack but there isn't a food court. I know to bring a few snacks next time because there is a place to sit upstairs. We'll definitely be back for more fun!

Alessandra England

Give it 5 stars because the place is really amazing, the workers are very nice and attentive. We went on a free day activity and was insanely full, I wouldn’t go again in a day like that. But is worth it to try when is empty, like in a week day. The kids love it, it has so many cool activities.

Desire Gayflor

Loved the place. Everything is miniature

Dieu Minh Tran

Good place for a 2 year old to play. However, there is no staff on-site to make sure people follow the rules. 5 year old kids were running around in TODDLER area and almost hit my little girl, disregarded the sign "2 year old and under ONLY". We won't be coming back for the safety of our little kid. Not recommend.

Tiffany Winslow

Totally not worth the $ in my opinion. My children literally asked me if we were in a zoo because the children were acting so bananas. We usually love childrens museums, the one in Chattanooga, TN is SUPERB, but this one was just chaotic and overpriced. We asked for and recieved a full refund, which we are greatful for. We will not be be back.

Emily Cadwell

At Chucky Cheese you have to show proof that you are leaving with the kid you came with. Here you can just leave, human traffickers can bring one kid with them and leave with two. With as much chaos in this museum it's only a matter of time till someone is snatched.

Jessica Upchurch

The space has plenty of items to interact with, but doesn't feel cramped. Most of the employees are very friendly and engage with the kids. A few exhibits have activities that are perpetually broken, but otherwise it is well cared for and clean. We enjoy that the featured exhibit changes every few months. Keeps it fresh and interesting.

mark woods

We took our five year old on a Monday. The museum is relatively small, but has many different settings to experience. We arrived at opening (10AM). At 3:15PM we finally dragged him out, as we were famished. He loved everything. There were many things to experience. They also had several rooms for experimentation. He made parachutes, rockets and learned about planets and electricity. If you stay long enough, you can learn so much. This was a surprising low key gem, with a hands on staff who seem to love what they do.

Renee C

This place amazing. Your kids will love it and never want to leave.. The only thing I see that can be improved on is , they really need an real eatery!

Christopher Giles

This place is great for kids. If only I could imagine what my child actually sees when they go in to play has to be amazement. All the grownup stuff is there size. FYI, your kids will put up a fight when its time to leave. Great interactive facility for kids. Definitely worth a try!

zohar Lerman

Great place to spend time with kids. Fits for kids from 2-8. For the older kids it will be little bit boring. Thr tickets are pricy so conciser buying family membership.

Harold Lutz

We visited in December 2018 and my family had a blast. My 5yo daughter loved the water play, the music stairs, the arts and crafts area (we sewed for the first time!), and all the other interactive exhibits. Our 2yo boy adored the grocery store area and the UPS truck. He went up and down the ramp with a grocery cart more times than I can count. He also loved rolling the boxes down the rollers. There was plenty here for our two younger kids to enjoy, they never got bored and didn't want to leave! Also, the staff were all very friendly and fun to interact with. If you're bringing your kids to Atlanta definitely give this place a visit!

Ika Vasco

Good for small kids and some very entertaining stuff in there but it's rundown and lacks staff, this place has everything for small kids to have a great time, if you go they will have a good time but... It's dirty, there's no staff directing any of the activities, last I went there were two ladies doing tickets and gift store, two teenagers in the floor. Not enough toys to make the installations work, for example train tracks were empty of trains, moon sand station had 5 molds (for an area than can fit 20 kids) supper market was empty, the kitchen and cafe were too

Cinzia Ianniciello Anderson

Super cool place to visit with kids, big and small. So many different stations that offer mental and physical challenges. It's definitely a place a kid can spend a full afternoon without getting bored.

C Johnston

The Children’s Museum is a lot of fun for smaller kids, however if you have babies, toddlers or older children, it may not be as thrilling. My 2 year old had a blast and loved the “sand” tables, but there really wasn’t much for my 14 month old to do. There are a few spaces set aside for small babies/toddlers, but there’s really not a lot of activities or things to keep them entertained in those sections. The museum has a lot of exhibits that we have seen in other cities/children’s museums. The upstairs doesn’t really have much for kids to do other than some classrooms and an eating area. FYI: I did notice a “quiet room” that had a small wall partition, for privacy, and a cozy chair for nursing mothers. TIP: if you are a member, take a picture of your member card and photo ID together, so you can quickly and easily show both upon entry

Yahuahs Daughter

Could have more for children to do and better prices but I love this place overall

Stephen Hamrick

Visited the Children's Museum of Atlanta for our daughter's second birthday. She seemed to really enjoy most areas of the museum. It was easy to park and get it. Price wasn't bad at all for us to get in. The water feature was the biggest hit. Wish they had some magnet options in the shopping area, unless we overlooked them? Overall, a fun and enjoyable day!

Sherri Tucker

This place is amazing plenty to do for the kids. Super educational

gabriela ayala

Excellent. We had a great time. The staff working on the CMA on the Stage is awesome. I strongly recommend this place

Hollie Hughes

It's just okay, I would like to see more activities for 2-3 yr olds. Like maybe big slides, a foam ball shooter (stone mountain), foam pit or ball pit. There is a 1-5 area but it's just a tree house and fishing fountain.

MoonState

My 4 yr old loved it. We spent about 4 hours here. There's so much to do especially for children that love to be hands on. She keeps asking to go back every day.

Teresa Paul

My 2 year old daughter had a ball. We were here over the long 4th of July weekend and it was very busy but she was able to see and do everything. If you have little ones this is great place to take them to learn and play.

Anthony Cordova

We drove a hour and a half for the Doc Mcstuffins exhibit and we considered returning for the Ninja Turtles exhibit that I believe will be there next year. This place is nothing like the Creative Discovery Museum in Chattanooga, or the Adventure Science Center in Nashville. Very very disappointed and have no intentions on ever returning. Price of admission and drive is not worth the size or quality of the facility. On a positive note, the employees were nice.

Boricua

I'm from Jacksonville Florida, I wish they had one over here, I really recommend this place if you have Toddler and very young kids, place is Big with plenty activities. Your kids will enjoy this In-Door Park. My toddler sure did. Place is nice and Clean.

Deborah Pope

There was do many activities for the kids and they enjoyed themselves. The adults enjoyed themselves as well. We will be back.

maria newman

Lots of fun activities for kiddos. My granddaughter loved the beautiful kitchen where kids pretend to cook and serve you food.

David Demo

Need to Read: --- The Children's Museum is not what you think it is. I went in with an open mind I didn't look into it at all the wife wanted to go as one of our stops while in Atlanta. If you like your kid getting ran into by older kids because as soon as the Adults get there .. they're in their phones and the children don't exist anymore they need to have more employees to crack down on kids running at least. Or if you like yelling at someone else's kid because they but in and try to take something away from your kid because they have no parents after entering the facility. There is an upstairs and it's mostly for eating.... This Museum is nothing special at all I would have rather gone to the Aquarium again for the same price honestly. None the less there is nothingggg for a 1 year old to do really when it comes to paying 20$ for them to get In. They really need to fix this... We will not be coming again next time. I guess if your a parent that likes to bring there kids somewhere and forget about them this is your place.

Tranelia Harris-Grady

My children had a wonderful time! Fun for both at ages 1.5 and 4.

Gobln Kng

Would be a 5-stars, but several of the exhibits were broken. Other then that, this was well worth the money. Place was engaging for my children. They had the best time. I also enjoyed how clean everything was.

Gina Austin

We love coming here. This place can seem very choatic if you don't go in with the mindset that kids are simply let free. It says no running but that's all you see so be careful. The restrooms have stools for the kids to use and are kept pretty clean. They change their area every few months and we saw information about being a doctor. I only dislike that they don't clean up as often as they should in the waffle house area or shopping area. You try to go shopping with your little one and the shelves are empty so it can be a little disheartening. We also had a birthday party here and it was a lot of fun for everyone, plus the kid's room was nice. Parking can be awful so watch for events going on in the area. I definitely recommend it.

Ernesto Salazar

It’s not even close to a museum it’s more like a daycare/baby indoor playground and definitely not worth the entrance price it’s a ripoff. One adult and two kids $62.00 I could had expended half that or less at chuck e cheese and kids would of have had more fun

Amanda Czubik

We went on free admission day today and had a blast! The event was very well run and not over crowded. We appreciated all the extra staff on hand to answer questions and help out on a busy day. I also appreciated being able to bring in snacks and drinks.

Michael Himawan

Great place to have quality time with your kids and let your kids learn while having fun

Blanche Henderson

They thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The five year old especially liked the “circus” the staff put on with a conga line conclusion. The eight year old was skeptical there was enough to keep him entertained, but he was the one who wasn’t ready to leave. We ended up buying an annual family pass so we can get a discount at other participating children’s museums, as well as revisiting this one.

shanna exline

Waste of money. Adults shouldn't have to pay to get in. Cost us $61 for 2 adults and a 3 yr old and pretty much we paid for him to play with blocks. Go to the park. It's free and you and your child will have alot more fun....

Felice MA

My daughter and niece enjoyed themselves, many on hand activities for kids. You can also pack a lunch and eat in a designated area. I’m definitely going to return.

K W

Boring, don’t waste your time. You spend $20 per person to either play with toys that are broken or it’s overcrowded and the kids can’t enjoy anything. My niece is 3, we’ll never go back.

Brittany B

Great place to let your little ones run free! Our son loves the Waffle House restaurant area! A little pricey so look at getting a membership if you plan to go often!

BRYGxxi

Super super fun place for an amazing 4year old daughter. Not only did she enjoy the visit but also learned a ton, most of all she was extremely tired after running around so sleep was no problem

David Jaquess

More like a hands-on learning center than museum. Kids were having fun!

Christen Cervantes

My son loved it! Had a great time.

This is really an incredible place for young children to spend a day. The have a wide variety of unique hands-on exhibits that allow children to explore various educational and scientific concepts. Of course the children only think they are playing. Being located in downtown Atlanta means parking is an issue. I would recommen the large parking deck right across the Baker Street entrance as it has entrances on all four streets it sits on. Parking is high though at $20 per car, but so convenient to the museum.

Perfect for 0 to 5. Maybe not for your 6 and later year olds; they might get bored sooner rather than later. My daughter is 3 and was entertained for hours.

Great place to take the kids to burn up some energy and learn at the same time

David

This place was great for our 2yr old. It was a busy time of day but we still felt like our son could play all he wanted. The staff was courteous and constantly coming around to making sure things were put back into their areas. The place is big enough that we spent 2 hours exploring and probably could have stayed another hour. We will be back.

Claire Galloway

Sensory friendly Saturday visit - great staff & time to have fun! We love the interactive exhibits.

Meghan Galanif

My daughter (2.5 yo) had a blast for four hours. The hospital exhibit and the grocery store were right up her alley and well done. It can get a bit busy, and expensive- one adult ticket, one kid ticket and parking = almost $70. A bit too expensive

Sonya M. Morris

Disappointing visit. My son wanted to play the drums in one of the classes and the instructor of the class would not allow him to play. He had 3 kids in the room. He said because my son was with a group he could not play. The group was not trying to come in just my kid. Needless to say my son was upset and wanted to know why he couldn't play the drums and the room was practically empty. He still talks about it to this day. We will not be returning.

This is a fun place to take a little kid. We joined a membership b/c our little one enjoys it so much. I knocked a star b/c there were a lot of exhibits that were not working during our most recent visit. Don't let that deter you from going, though...your kid will have fun. Pro summer tip: take a swimsuit for your kid & hit the water pad across the street at Centennial Park after the museum visit.

$61 for the 3 of us wasn't worth it! Not sure why this is considered a "museum"...Needs a name change and a SERIOUS OVERHAUL and REDESIGN!!! IMHO Took my 5 and 7 y/o grandchildren who came in from out of town Thursday. The 7 y/o wasn't impressed. She felt it should've been things to do and more up-to-date. She commented on there not being enough activities to keep her interest. I'd have to agree. Interactive toys are out-dated for this new era of children. The "grocery store" checkout should have scanners and a working digital register, with more than one checkout for more than one child. My 5 y/o grandson enjoyed climbing through one of the exhibits and standing inside the globe, but other than that, there's not much to it. Won't be going back. Luckily it's across from Centennial Olympic Park, where they could frolic through the water. Otherwise, this outing would've been a BUST!

Amazing time! My daughter didnt want to leave. We will definitely go back! A great time just before the start of the school year!

dawn g

We went to see the Doc McStuffins Exhibit. Afterwards we played with other interactive activities. There was even a child size Waffle House!

Stephen Vespi

Great place for kids! My son had a blast.

Flavio Villanustre

Neat children's museum. Not too big but clean and well operated with a number of interactive exhibits for kids from 2 to 9.

Chris Ozburn

Extremely underwhelming! 1.25 floors of activities for $80, 2 adults and 2 children. NOT worth it!! We could have gone to Centennial Park across the way and enjoyed the play structures there for free. I gave one because of the air conditioning. I expected far better from a large city.

Jay Clark

For the price, was not as good as other cities I’ve taken my kids to. Charlotte is much better for the money. If you are going to choose an attraction in Atlanta, I would skip this one.

antoine newcomb

Fun place for the kids to run around and have fun. I brought my 1year old and my 9 year, both were equally entertained and had a great time. This place has activities for all age ranges. I'm giving 4 stars due to the museum having a restroom beside the "2yrs and under" area, and they did not have a baby changing station. Still very fun and enjoyable. I'll probably come again the next time I'm in Atlanta.

Denise King

Love this place! Kids had a ball.

C T

Great place for kids up to 7 years old to experience science, geography and social studies. It's a little pricey so if you plan on visiting more than 3 times in a year, just buy the membership.

Debbra Lindo

My son, who's 5 years old, really enjoyed himself! But I thought it was just an overpriced indoor playground. It was not worth the money spent or the time it took to get there. It was very "parent" friendly, as it had a room for nursing, a bottle warmer, & baby changing stations in every bathroom. The bathrooms could have been cleaner, especially the family one. The staff were very nice & helpful.

Angie McAdam

Amazing children's museum. Everything is interactive with adorable and educational play stations.

ẞ. Ülrich

Would hardly call this a "museum"; it's more of a large indoor playground. The place was utterly chaotic with children darting about while staff provided little to no guidance. Many of the "exhibits" were dated or in states of disorder and disrepair or just not very impressive. Thankfully, children will find ways to have fun and enjoy themselves with available resources. Really can't recommend visiting here if looking for a true museum experience. No way to justify the high price of admission, and don't forget about downtown parking charges as well.

Aleen K

Coming here with the kids has been ah.mazing! We loved every minute of our time there. Curious George was great, the science section, musical stairs and baby sections throughout the area was just perfect for parents of babies )who need to be contained in a safe area) while big kids explore.

Michael F. D. Anaya

My kids loved it. There are a lot of activities for the kids. It is probably the most fun for kids aged 2 to 5. The downside is parking. You have to find parking near by and it is another expense to factor in.

Kyle Hurford

Pretty cool! My kids are a bit too young to get the full experience but we all have fun when we roll through

Gina Paponetti

Reasonably priced for the size and amount of exhibits. There's not a TON to do and see, but it's perfect for kids 6-7 and under. My 3 year old lived at the train tables! They were really cool! Staff was also very friendly and helpful. Wish it was bigger, with more exhibits, but it's great for what you pay.

Ro Espinosa

Way overpriced for basic play stations for kids. Nothing upstairs and could use major upgrade or price drop

Ri Dickson

I made reservations online. Sucks you have to pay for parking elsewhere, but back to the main point. I changed the time and dates to a different day then preselected. However, when I received my confirmation email, it had the preselected dates. The email says to call immediately to report this, but I have left message after message, calling a dozen times since my purchase. No one has bothered to call and every avenue on their phone numbers ask you to leave a message yet they do not return your call(s). Those tickets were almost 100 dollars and my family and I return to our home state today. If I could give less than one star, I would have! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

Sharon Maloney

The staff was wonderful - very accommodating for our field trip!

Jay C

It was something for the kids to do. A padded bench to sit on would've been great though.

Jessica Chester

Great place to take little kids to play and explore. They have art projects the kids can do and projects to build things. They also have a theme area. This visit it was Doc McStuffin. My kids had a blast and were amazed by everything.

Dustin Neufeld

Small but lots to do. More geared towards the little kids.

Fran poole

We all loved this place. The kids didn't want to leave lol

Matt Holcomb

Staff was really nice, interactive, exciting and pleasant which makes for a great family experience. Facility was kept up and had a lot for the toddlers and little guys. I came with a 8 year old, 7 year old and 5 year old. All the kids had a great time. $15.95 per person total for a family of 5 was $86. Pretty pricey, adult ticket pricing same as children. Over all a good time just pricey for a normal working family.

J H

Kids had a blast definitely recommend this for something to do with the family great atmosphere friendly people

Jessica Hampton

My 2 n 3 year old LOVED this place..we will definitely bring them back at some point.

Vince Groff

Really a waste of money. Smallish space with a bunch of plastic toys. Not a museum at all other that a few signs that say stuff like "fish live in water". If you have a 3 or 4 year old and can come during the week and pay about $5 per person, it might be worth it. They seriously need to rethink this place. They also need to hire some people to keep things picked up and in order. It's a disaster.

Sara Gard

For kids aged 8 and younger, this place is great! My 4 year old and almost 2 year old had a great time and found lots to do. It is highly decorated, can be loud, and for some kids and even adults, it might feel overstimulating before too long. They do have a quiet/nursing room, but there will be some who can't manage the mayhem. They don't offer food for sale beyond some vending machines, but you may bring your own food from the outside, or leave and return with a hand stamp. Great experience and value for kids.

ratman18 fl

Our 3 year old loved this place. Definitely worth checking out.

Sara Schulz

My kids (2&5yrs) loved this place. Lots of neat things for them to do and explore here. Cool place! It's a little pricey tho and i feel that parents shouldn't be charged admission, only kids

Adrienne Poole

Loved this place. Its a big fun house for kids

Erica Boone

Lots to do for your littles! I took our seven year old and she loved it.

Anjelica Polk

If you have ever been to the children's museum in Olympia, Washington then you will be slightly disappointed in this children's museum. Mainly because there is no outdoor part to this museum with a mud kitchen and bikes and such. There is a park across the street from there so that makes it a little better. Overall my kids had fun here.
