We've got the information of real people like you who are using the products and services of The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum (Museum) in Florida.
Right now this business has a score of 4.4 out of 5 and that rating has been based on 295 reviews.
As you can see the average of ratings is very good, and it's based on a large number of reviews, so we can be pretty sure that the valuation is very credible. If many people have bothered to give their score when they've done well, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to write reviews when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Museum is classified in the category of Art museum.
Has decent space and is a very well kept place. There was a high variety of art pieces in this museum and the staff was very friendly.
Beautiful building that houses the collections/exhibitions. The staff that was on duty when I was there were very friendly and helpful when asked questions. There is parking available in two multi-story garages 'in front' of the museum. You can either pay for parking using an APP or the machine inside. The day I went was the day before spring session was to begin so it was very quiet with very few people. The permanant collection was impressive considering its size. The other exhibitions rotate regularly and the ones currently on display are similar to they types at the Perez. I would definitely recommend taking an hour or so and visit here.
The children's art room kept my kids busy for hours. Drawing, building, and playing on the Smart table. Wonder learning space!!!
The museum itself is a terrific building, spacious and elegant. The Art after Stonewall exhibit is really excellent. Would be 5 stars if t weren't for a less than 5 star organization of events (I reserved a ticket for event weeks in advance but then wasn't allowed in because they let people in on first come first served basis and it was full--So why issue tickets?).
Soooooooo borringggggtgggggtttgf
(Translated by Google) Entertaining, but worth it only for the planetarium, the rest only if you go with children. (Original) Entretenido, pero vale la pena solo por el planetario, lo demás solo si vas con niños.
This inside of this museum is very beautiful. Here you will find interesting places for your kids. The staff is very interactive and helpful. You will definitely enjoy your visit.
We really enjoyed all the creative activities. The art displays were not all kid friendly so we enjoyed the kid's room most. It was clean, well stocked, and fun.
Great campus, disappointment on the displays. But it is free.
Had to pay for parking. One of the exhibitions were not agreeable to our taste.
The best part is the temporary social justice exhibitions on the ground floor.
Very cool museum. You have to go here
(Translated by Google) I liked it a lot, just beware of the price of parking, I stayed around 4 pm there and paid 28 dollars. And the food was also very expensive, a $ 15 hamburger, soda and fries. I found it super annoying to pay the parking lot more expensive than the $ 25 ticket (Florida residents) (Original) Eu gostei muito, apenas cuidado com o preço do estacionamento, fiquei em torno de 4 h lá e paguei 28 dólares. E a alimentação também achei bem cara, um hambúrguer, refri e batata frita $15. Achei super chato pagar o estacionamento mais caro que o ingresso $25 ( Flórida residentes )
A plase to relax

Nice place! I love it! I had the experience of have been there at Art Basel Fest .
Small but decent nice and clean.
Wether you have children or not, go alone or with friends, everyone will enjoy this place.
Welcome to The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum.
Alright. But wouldn't go again
We loved the children's gallery on the first floor. The permanent collection is fantastic, and the layout and design of each gallery is beautiful.
It is actually very nicely set up and clean as the whole of Fiu. Worth a visit
SADDEST FISH TANKS EVER!!!
Amazing. Way better than Miami museum!!! I gave it a 4 star b.c the day I went the planetarium shows were sold out.
Not worth it. Is the modern art tipe of museum. Lots of random things that means nothing... It is only 3 small rooms.
Very kid friendly event
(Translated by Google) Excellent work, we visited the exhibition of 2 Cuban artists, thank you Claudia Taboada for such a meticulous work and help us to understand and know more the real artists who live in Cuba and that for lack of who represents them live in the sonbras.
It's to small and not much attractions
Had a really nice visit to the 1st floor only. Very interactive and love that it is free.
It's Free. Nice art but its little so the tour took maybe 30 minutes, I wish it would have been longer
(Translated by Google) Excellent museum, good and varied art exhibitions (Original) Excelente museo, buenas y variadas exposiciones de arte
Love ❤️ it
Needs more interesting items.
Great vibes, history in the making @nomorgames @gons__ @theaudetor
Excellent place for the whole family.
Growing encyclopedic collection, beautiful double height galleries, interesting shows that bring in well known international and local artists, as well as student work, all for the price of free. If you are driving, it is dollar an hour to park in visitor parking nearby. Definitely worth a visit.
Free to get in. $1.00 per hour to park. Exhibit did not flow. It dead ends on each floor. Too many editions and reproduction works i.e. No.123/500. I like for my museums to have original works. The front desk asked for I.D. when I walked in, Why? This is so annoying to me. Most likely they are trying to account for attendance but, it is still annoying. The place was of moderate size. Not a small or large place. I did enjoy seeing the F.I.U. campus. 3 stars.
I like it here. Its small, yes, but it's also free, and I feel like what is there is very high quality. In response to the comment alleging racism, here's my experience: Yes, there is security everywhere and they were usually in every room I was in (I'm white). I assumed they were doing their job, and it's not a busy place at all, so they have nothing better to do but be extra vigilant. It's not like they're standing over you they're just in the same room. It didn't bother me. Snobbish? A bit. But it's a freakin' art museum, do they come any other way? All in all, as a person who is NOT an art aficionado, I love the place.

It is not often that art teaches so much American history and politics. The latest exhibit does such a great job. Law and history students will learn so much of what up until now has been ignored and baby boomers will be reminded about how far America has come since Stonewall
My 3 years old son loves this place
I don't know if it was the art displayed at the time. But I was thoroughly disappointed. A guy surrounded small islands w pink fabric had a whole floor dedicated to him. Kind of ridiculous.
Very beautiful place with lots of creatures and information, would recommend for a family, the shows are also very nice.
To be Fair, I was very exited about the many great attractions that this place promoted offering. Once inside, I realized what a rip off of a place it is. 6 floors and only 3 attractions. The remaining 3 floors offer empty pictures printed from a random website. If you are looking to waste your time in Miami, this is the place to go. I DO NOT RECCOMEND IT
Disappointed compared to other science museums
(Translated by Google) Excellent place, really wonderful to visit with family or friends who love art. Spectacular exhibitions with impeccable work. An interesting and beautiful place to know, explore and take beautiful pictures! (Original) Excelente lugar , realmente maravilloso para visitar en familia o con amigos amantes del arte . Exposiciones espectaculares con un trabajo impecable . Un sitio interesante y bello para conocer , explorar y tomar bellas fotografías !!!
Beautiful museum with interesting exhibition. It has a sculpture garden
Great museum
Boring empty rooms. Middle school projects copyed off google. Elevators are slow and the exzbits garbage and it's over prices for empty rooms of nothin
Nice place
Nice exhibitions
Simply amazing!!!!!!
Incredible collection of art and design. Just gorgeous library and a lot of early Soviet magazines and posters.
My review is based on costumer service. It's awful--so far. If you visit their Instagram page, you'll see it's a common problem. So much time, effort & money invested in this museum. The least they can do is properly train their staff to be educated & professional. Very disappointed in treatment.
Surprisingly good artwork. Especially the 2D works by renowned sculptors. Definitely worth a visit....And it's free! Good sculpture garden at the front too.
Biggest waste of money. Nothing really interesting to see, and most of it seems to be catered to children. Parking is disgustingly overpriced. $8 for first hour and then $4 an hour after. Don't waste your time and money
Great museum, great people, great time!!!
It isn't the largest nor the best museum Miami has to offer, but they do their best to keep it fresh, instructive, and an overall enjoyable experience for occasional visits.
I love the place... I come here when I need to get away from the stress of school. It has beautiful expositions and the feeling of the whole place if amazing. Even if you are not much into art...I recommend visiting it at least once.
It very interested because of the artwork and the designs
Not impressed
A museum filled with wonder.....wondering where all the money went to. No labels on many exibits, very little content & confusing setup. If you're in the mood to kill an hour and learn less than a middle school science fair this is your place.
free entrance, lovely place, interesting exhibits
One of the facilities my university has to offer the public.
Nice venue and staff
Great modern museum!
Great exhibits!
Fabulous lectures, free admission and friendly staff to boot. Museum has interesting collections and space has such architectural hidden gems. The outdoor deck is a showpiece in itself.
Great
Always an amazing time
Exhibition, customer service, location, parking, and fun!
On a Visit to the Frost Museum, a sculpture garden in the area in front of the museum
Beautiful building, that probably cost many millions to build, wonderful views, but poor shows, they need to add more exhibitions, activities .
A perfect jewel of a museum. Don't miss the "Dangerous Women" exhibit which is all about women of the bible who have been considered dangerous in some form or other.
Awesome exposition
(Translated by Google) Excellent. (Original) Excelente.
My rating is really connected to the fact that this place really lacks having a fair amount of exhibits. Obviously you're not going to get MoMA from this place, but I really do feel like this museum, should really look into revamping their entire process with how they do their exhibitions. I went to this museum, when they were featuring the exhibit of some fashion designer that implemented art into his designs. I will say that it was beautifully placed. But other than that, there was only one other exhibit filled with just photographs of an Asian artist, doing interesting art with hair as their medium. But with that said, we are talking about only TWO exhibits, and this was during the Spring time. So it's not like it was in the summer, because I would imagine that since it is located in a College campus, that they put less effort during the summer time. Regards of that fact, I really do believe that a museum needs to work towards always elevating themselves. That is what always brings people back to MoMA. This museum is literally located at FIU. A University that prides itself in "Being World Ahead". So do us a favor and achieve that, especially with more than just one or two exhibits. I have high expectations, because who are we if we can't challenge ourselves to always improving our work?!
I would refer to the frost museum as a small gallery, however has displayed a wide collection.
Great place
Modern museum. A couple of nice sculptures : 2000 year old Buddha's heads and 1830s stature of tribal rings around the neck.
Drove down from Palm Beach County to see this alleged powerhouse of a museum. Complete disappointment. The parking for the museum was full so we had to find a lot close by that services the Adrienne Arsht center. Not a crisis. What should have tipped me off that this experience was going to be a huge letdown was the entrance up to the museum. As a pedestrian entering from Biscayne you are walking up an unfinished driveway where the drop-off area is. I gathered that the pedestrian entrance is on the south side near Museum Park. Awkward at best. The museum itself was the strangest building I've ever been in. I can't believe this was built from the ground up. It felt like a retrofitted parking garage turned museum. Nothing about navigating this place is easy. Stairwells lead to nowhere. There's absolutely ZERO flow through. Ticket prices aren't cheap and I can honestly say the best part of this museum had nothing to do with the exhibits but everything to do with the views, which were spectacular. Aside from that this place was a complete waste of an afternoon. Side note: I'm not entirely certain why reviewers are complaining about the ticket queue. You do realize you can purchase tickets online right? There's this thing called a smartphone. It's going to be huge....
Love the art work and kids play room
Thank you for allowing us to come and experience Art. If you're looking for something to actually do, this would not be the place to go. However, if you love looking at art and you have some extra time you would definitely like it.
Modern art.
Great kid's activity room. Great museum. Shout it out. Tell the world.
Hermosa ceremonia .bello lugar

Fascinating collection of contemporary art
I love going to this musseum. I am an Fiu alumni and they are always changing the exhibitions which is very refreshing.
Nice place
Awful, so small, art did not seem to go well together
very modern and free
The art exhibitions are not expansive and too abstract
I love it.
(Translated by Google) It is very good attention and entertaining children section (Original) Es muy buena la atención y entretenida la sección de niños
A good level of art for a college musuem
Very basic art display
The Patricia & Phillip Museum, in FIU, it is a great place to delight our senses and admire the art and culture of the people.
Cool AC.

Located on the FIU campus this museum has diverse exhibitions.
They had a great tour for kids.
this is some bull i needed to go here for my end of the school field trip and this is what i got wow... i guess if u are looking for a good place to waste your time then come here.
Wonderful, thoughtful exhibits
Fun
Beautiful place to go! Planetarium has a very good quality and very interesting way to explain what they are talking about. The aquarium is nice. Has several species didactically explained. Go early to enjoy it fully. Highly recommended to go with your partner/family/friends.
Very nice place to celebrate little children's B/D parties
The art was very creative!
There's always unique exhibitions on display. The staff are always kind and helpful. And the ambient atmosphere allows one to focus deeply on what it is that they're viewing. A great place.
Really small not much to see they should add more exhibits the Frost museum is much better I recommend the Frost museum much more to see and it's better
Great museum and fun, educational activities for all ages.
Enjoyed it very much
Always good to explore something new...
The museum is nice aesthetically, the design is modern and it has 3 stories. The main gallery is in the second floor and the paintings and art varies over time so you never get bored of passing by. It is free for students and has a variety of work from old master paintings to new modern art.
Interesting experience. Cool and modern exhibitions. Made me think outside the box. The museum is also free of charge.
Love going to the museum. There is always great art to see
Amazing place love everything❤
Cool exhibits and beautiful views
One of the best museum
I miss the old spot. The new space is wasted and too big and does not offer interesting shows except for the Aquarium.
One of the better museums in the area, although the exhibition area is small and it's a reasonable drive from downtown. It's free, the exhibits change frequently and there's plenty of literature available at the reception desk. Parking in the metered spaces in the garages before the museum.
Very beautiful place with gorgeous sea creatures and huge tanks with large variety of fish and also very informational. Would recommend for families as it also has several places for kids. Very interactive staff as well.
Get there early
It's not what I expected more for field trips for youger trips if your kids are 6 or over and have seen others museums and traveled it's not ideal for them.
I don't usually give fours on these reviews but I feel like this particular museum venue has a little ways to go before it turns into an impactful center for learning in Miami. The parking price is high (around 12 bucks for 2 hours for me) but I'll give that a pass because it's Miami - parking everywhere is expensive. The rooms and venues are technologically "advanced", yes, with touch screens and swivels and what-not but their wasn't a lot of real SCIENCE being displayed. Trust me this would be good for a middle school field trip maybe but when I went the last 2 floors of the supposedly 6 floor museum was still under construction. That being said it tries it's best to provide a tech/science outlet to downtown miami. Probably the best section of this place is either the lightroom or the aquatic section. P.S. I personally went here to take professional pictures so I pretty much covered the whole thing.
REALLY NICE PLACE, GREAT EXHIBIT!
Excelente espaço com várias atividades para crianças, além das exposições disponíveis para o público. Um lugar muito bonito, limpo e organizado, e gratuito. Muito interessante de se conhecer.
It's a pretty small museum on FIU's Modesto campus. It's free for FIU students and has some pretty well curated exhibits. It's a great space to escape whenever I have a break and feel artsy.
wonderful place, great experience
Fantastic museum
Great artwork really should have had more stuff to see, , great place
Very very nice place with unique pieces and history.
Free admission and wonderful exhibits make this museum worth navigating the FIU campus. And now it has a Vicky Bakery!
Best place, well at FIU. I'll probably be going.
Great place for every one ,you can enter free with the pass at the library
Great
The place is beautiful inside and out, with an artsy architecture of its own. Very nice and instructive guided tour offered by highly motivated and knowledgeable people, and very impressive infrastructure for holding complex art installations. A must-visit place for art lovers and history buffs altogether.
Overall a great experience. Loved the art and the service.
Nice place. But pretty far out. Pretty quick tour on your own.
(Translated by Google) It is a super nice place and the space for the little ones in the house is a lot of fun. (Original) Es un lugar super agradable y el espacio para los pequeños de la casa es muy divertido.
Very beautiful space and fabulous art with a latin American theme. Check out the Soriano exhibit while you still can.
It's an amazing place
