The norton museum is a great place to visit, if you’re coming for the art or coming for the pictures it’s worth it. The museum has a smooth layout and is kept very clean. It’s large so it’s not too busy and has some great works on display. They rotate their pieces enough to keep the museum fresh and enticing!
Norton has undergone a beautiful renovation recently. I have been visiting for years whenever I go to see my grandma in Florida. They have a vast variety of different exhibits and a beautiful garden outside. Also noticed their bar in their dining space that we did not partake in but saw a wide variety of selections. Wonderful place to relax and enjoy your surroundings. Wear comfortable shoes- there’s a lot of area to cover!
Amazing place to visit. Loved the outdoor garden and large sculptures. Very inexpensive entrance fee. Wonderful art collection. Will definitely visit whenever in Palm Beach.
Very interesting exhibits. Bring a sweater. Brrr..,
Great exhibit on Toulouse-Lautrec ends December and movie poster art ends I believe on the 29th October. Very helpful staff.
I liked it! Way bigger than I expected it to be. Many artists featured to name a few: Monet, Matisse, Miró, Gris, and Picasso! I was pretty happy.
Well worth the wait! Sooooo excited to revisit after its renovation! Expanded contemporary sculptures and fresh new additions!! Love Free Fridays~ just like a large metropolitan area should offer!
GRAND OPENING: Feb 9th, 2019 What an incredible day! The architecture, artwork, gardens, and energy were all amazing! I didn't even get to see it all so I'll definitely be going back shortly! This is a MUST SEE in South Florida and rivals your favorite museum. A wonderful welcome to the community and furthers the love and appreciation South Florida has for art. ☆☆☆☆☆
Beautiful new building married to old museum. Fabulous art work and sculpture garden. Free to all on Fridays and Saturdays. Closed Wednesdays. Highly recommended!
Fantastic place to visit, and free entry on Fridays and Saturdays. Eclectic collection, and a vast collection....we were there several hours. Garden is also lovely. Free parking across the road. Loved the exhibition of work by students from local schools...what talented students ( and teachers!)
The "New" Norton is bigger and better than ever!
Newly renovated and beautiful building. had a great time viewing their impressive collection.
Beautiful rebuilding/restoration of this wonderful institution. The art is beyond my knowledge but enchanting. New restaurant and enlarged sculpture garden are so lovely. This is a Tour de Force. Join now and enjoy many times because one visit is NOT enough to this great museum!
Went to the Norton before they did the new renovations and the difference is astonishing! Free parking across the road. Loved the exhibition of work by students from local schools...what talented students ( and teachers!)
Great night with my daughter working on a college assignment
Friday nights: free student entry, live musical performances, free arts and crafts activities, and open exhibits. Beautifully remodeled. One exhibit was too over the top, though.
The new Norton was clearly built with vision! It is brilliant place that I feel is a cool, quiet example of what a community oriented museum should be. I'm impressed by the broad selection and lots of diversity in staff. My favorite installation was the video series on the various life experiences African American men like myself face from professional walks of life to injustices in the legal system... It was like art for the mind and that's just one of the many other fascinating things you might see.
The new pavilion is amazing! Three floors of galleries with a restaurant and lots of new outdoor seating. Parking is across the street from the main entrance. Go see it you won't be disappointed!
Really nice break from beach and snorkeling..
Museum had a grand reopening.Located close to Downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. Fabulous event.More special events planned during month of February. Many great collections to see. Three floors of wonderful displays. Coffee bar and sit down Cafe. Parking available.
I did not find this to be that enthralling. I don't know what the intrigue is about comic book art or whatever it is they have posted in one gallery.
Outstanding grand opening. Beautifully designed building with lots of natural light. We'll be back soon. Building was able to have a crowd in style.
Beautiful renovation beautiful art so much history. So inspiring and welcoming. 10/10 love coming here.
We went this Sunday afternoon from Miami using the fast train. They have a really good art selection, some pieces are perfectly positioned to make an impression on you or to create conversations. Sadly, we thought we're going to have more time, plus, the museum staff "invite us to leave" 10 minutes before closing because they had an event.
From the arquitecture to the sample of different types of paintings this is a great museum. The gardens and restaurant make it even more enjoyable. I would say it is a must see in SE Florida landmark. Enjoy it...
Great museum with bar and restaurant. Free admission on Fridays and Saturdays. A wide variety of events that periodically change. Parking is free. I highly recommend it
Beautiful new museum, wonderful exhibits gardens are very relaxing
Went to the Norton before they did the new renovations and the difference is astonishing! They really made space for more art and made it more modern! They kept some old stuff like the garden in the middle of the museum which is nice and cozy place place to relax. There's three floors of amazing art and exhibits and if you really read everything like I do it will take you all day to see everything! I'm a student so I can get in for $5 which is a steal but it's free for everyone on Saturday so it's basically robbery at that point! definitely worth your time to check out this great place! People are nice and helpful and there's a nice restaurant inside! Must go for any locals or visitors in the area!
Surprisingly robust collection featuring Picasso, Monet, Matisse and an array of styles from every era since the renaissance. Additionally, abstract, photography, Chinese relics and outdoor sculpture. Even a Chihuly exhibit. Lived in the area 25 years ago and was pleasantly surprised with the expansion in space and quality of collection. Highly recommend.
What an awesome Museum make sure to catch them on the free day if you are looking for an adventure, but wanna save a couple bucks!
Very nice collection. Diverse and well displayed. Liked the courtyard gallery and sculptures, feels like oasis in busy area.
The new and vastly improved Norton museum! Even the architecture is a stunning piece of art. We spent a full 2 hours exploring three floors of art. The art spans centuries and styles and each room is specially curated to present an idea, evoke a specific feeling, or educate visitors on a specific genre of art. Having been to the Norton several times before the remodel, I saw many pieces which had been on display but also a ton of new features. One of my favorite rooms was art from local kids. I hope the museum keeps this as a permanent fixture. It must be very exciting, as a young artist, to have your art hang in the same building with Picasso, Pollock, and others. I was happily surprised at the variety of artists and greatly enjoyed the politics of many of the pieces.
Beautifully redone structure; great architectural work. Good collection of modern and pop art. Stunning Chihuly ceiling. The collection of the classics is lacking, however. Hope they can update their collection. A very worthwhile outing.
Beautiful museum, plenty to see. Parking was horrific since half of the parking lot was closed off for an event. Checked website prior to going and took note that the museum was K-12 friendly. When we entered the first exhibit we were told that our backpacks were a problem (this restriction is not noted on the website) and then we were constantly being watched and sometimes it felt like we were not welcome (3 moms and 8 children). In spite of all that, the children enjoyed their first art museum encounter.
The new renovations made the Norton one of the nicest modern museums I have visited. The sculpture garden was so peaceful, the art display had something for everyone to enjoy. I suggest everyone should go and enjoy themselves.
This place is living proof that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I came to view the newly renovated museum, and on Saturday because it's free. I appreciated the culture, beauty and history here. Unfortunately, I was also extremely offended by a photograph which I tried my best to avoid. The Butcher Dictator of Cuba, Fidel Castro, whom even in death has the most blood of the Cuban people in his hands, does not deserve a spot anywhere among this culture. I'm asking the Norton to remove this photograph or add one of Hitler, Stalin and Mao. No, I will not return to this place and I will ask everyone I know to stay away.
A great variety of spaces...to actively engage and to rest.
Beautiful perfect in every way convenient parking customer service top-notch clean excellent food phenomenal experience that everybody should see. Nice collection of modern and classical art don't miss the outside garden beautiful place to sit talk have a drink enjoy Florida weather.
Fantastic changes have been made. Free on Fridays for Florida/Saturdays residents.
Wonderful place to spend a day. New makeover has easy flow throughout the exhibits. Pleasant atmosphere, well lit. Wonderful coffee shop and restaurant should you want to have a cup, or lunch. Easy handicap access.
The Norton is a gem situated in South Florida, featuring a broad collection of modern art.
Free fridays and sundays. Everyone is very nice and helpful that works there. Only complaint is I could not find a changing table in the regular bathroom or the family stall
I visited yesterday with several friends. Admission on Fridays and Saturdays in the summer is free as well as parking . We took a 11:30 tour which was very interesting, and it too was free. We had a delicious lunch there eating Florida and Ceaser salads with added chicken and fish, but the menu had many non salad options as well as a bar serving alcohol. After lunch we stopped in the museum store which was very reasonably priced and well stocked with interesting things. We all left very happy from our day trip!
Lots of art pieces to appreciate and the layout is very organized.
Grand opening was fabulous, the renovated and enlarged museum is very impressive, very airy, lots of room to relax between exhibitions, wonderful place to take children where they can play freely on the lawn while families can eat and watch them at the same time, plenty of exhibits. I want to see more of what they will bring in, I was not overly impressed with what is on display right now. It' s very new so we will wait and see what the future brings It's a fabulous place, well worth several visits.
Great variety of exhibits and very clean, modern facility. Cezanne, Monet, Matisse, Rockwell!!, Henri, Pollock, Picasso, Cassatt, Hassam and much more!! So worth going and such a nice surprise to see the famous artists' work locally. Book a high tea at the Serenity Gardens Tea House 5 blocks away for a nice lunch before going....and check the Norton website for discounts for members, seniors, and educators. What a treat & wonderful experience.
Beautifully redone, easy to move between galleries, docent tours are top notch. Plenty of parking, cafe reasonably priced. A must see!
Amazing renovation and expansion with three floors of excellent exhibits
Good place very interesting art galleries. From 1800s to contemporary ones, they all have it. Saturdays are free admission. It was a great experience being there.
Newly re-built under the fine eye of Lord Norman Foster the Norton is SPECTACULAR. Go and see. A first walk through will take about an hour.....but that's just a walk through. My guess is that after the first visit it will take 2 or 3 other visits to get to know this terrific museum
Excellent experience. Nice choice of art is on exhibit at this newly renovated/built facility. Worthy of at least a few visits during ones stay in the southern area of Florida. Highly recommended.
Gorgeous new building with an incredible collection of art. A generous donor made it possible for all to enter free on Fridays and Saturdays for seven years from this new opening. What a treasure!
Amazing beautifully renovated, use to go there on field trips as a kid in the 60's
I went there just for credit on my art class. That place is awesome and people are so kind.
Love the free admission on fridays and Saturday’s! Great to visit on rainy days and free parking in lot in the front.
Fantastic gallery and museum with wonderful exhibits.
It was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. It had a lot of nice art work.
The family and I thoroughly enjoyed the museum. They had some excellent exhibitions and many world renowned artists on display!
Wow beautiful museum! The building and the art are spectacular. Great programming too like Art After Dark event. Great for a date for casual viewing or enthusists alike! Parking is located across the street from the front of the building.
As a PBAC alum, I spent lots of time here many years ago and have regularly donated to this museum. While in town last week, I was surprised to see this hanging 3feet inside the door. Thank you! This white Male will be stopping future donations. Actions have consequences and yours cost you $$$. If there is nothing wrong with this photo, WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO REMOVE IT?
The new building is terrific. The art is varied and of interest to many tastes. Very helpful staff. Notice the majestic tree at the entrance. I can't wait to return. A lot for one visit.
Excellent docents. Impressive collection.
Ecle to selection of modern, contemporary, ancient art under one roof. Specifically enjoyed the landscaped tropical gardens.
A lot of interesting displays. Loved the Oriental one.
The reopened Norton is a beautiful building. The entrance and the new floor and the new niceties are quite beautiful. The garden is pretty with statues however some of the sculptures are not that interesting. Now regarding the artwork at the Norton it’s basically the same artwork that was there before so there are about 10 famous pieces and and it seems that Norton tried to fill up the new empty spaces with progressive political “art”. Fortunately when I was there this weekend there was a special exhibit with works by Nick Cave and Lichtenstein -very worth seeing. The glass collection in the ceiling is very creative and worth seeing too. I am personally hoping that they acquire some real artwork to fill up their walls a bit better.
Great exhibit of movie posters was temporary but the black and white photos are a permanent exhibit. Very nice place in a historic neighborhood.
I have been going to this museum for years and I must say the beautiful job they’ve done with the remodel is amazing !! They have integrated the old and the new building very nicely !! They have a wonderful restaurant with outdoor and indoor sitting !! Plus every Friday they offer free admission !! Which is a plus for anyone looking for free events in west palm beach area !!
Love the new museum. Lots to see. Happy they have Free Fridays so all can enjoy. Looking forward to future visits!
Never imagine what a place is. Didactic and open mind for the universal art. I enfatic recommend the visit this beautiful and professional art exibition.
Good place to go hangout with your friends but some of the art just doesn't make sense
Loved it here! Went with my Family for Art after dark and we all loved it! Will definitely be back soon. I hope to have my art here one day!
Currently, The Norton Museum is offering free admission, take advantage of this opportunity, until early 2019. The museum is easy to reach, safe, and the staff will answer questions. There are activities for children, check the website, and plenty of parking. In the nearby area, West Palm, there are interesting places to dine and shop.
Wonderful renovation, worth the wait. Fabulous exhibits.
We visited here on a Friday night and listened to some jazz and then checked out the various exhibits. The museum is very large and has a wide range of exhibits and artists. My wife - who is much more into are than I - was very impressed.
Absolutely beautiful! The kids were amazed and I can’t wait to try the restaurant! Great admission costs
Beautiful building and a wonderful collection of art! Came for a special exhibit but enjoyed the museum as a whole. Will definitely visit again to see everything I missed the first time. Museum also has a decent cafe and restaurant with a full service bar.
The Norton was always a delightful little local art museum. It has become a phenomenal arts destination. The new facilities offer an unlimited opportunity to put the whole range of arts on display and for experience. Docent tours are constantly moving off in every direction. Concerts were on offer all afternoon, opera, a wind ensemble, and others. An excellent snackbar serves a variety of sweets, fruit, and drinks all day. A dedicated restaurant offers meals at meal times on certain days. An arts and crafts center offers hands-on experiences to children of all ages. The Norton has transformed itself into an all-day arts destination for every age and interest.
There is much to see but I had trouble finding a reason for the layout. Maybe a timeline? Or regional groupings. The info cards by the works were informative. The museum store was disappointing. Friday and Saturdays are free!
Modern Good pieces Very close to my place The museum is not very big.
New expansion is massive. No real flow so make sure you visit each room
What a beautiful renovation! So much light! Love the outdoor art and the installation along the staircase to upper floors! They have used their space wisely. Go! Enjoy! And, if you go on Friday or Saturday, admission is free.
Very nice but go on weekend cause its free for palm beach county residents. They remodeled the entite place and it's really nice now
One visit and pleasently sutprise of some of the incredible art that mostly can be found in larger cities. Loved it and the no charge nights, 2
Wonderful museum to spend with the family. Just missing the charm of the old building.
What an extraordinary Museum this has grown up to be! I attended the Member Preview and had tears in my eyes and joy in my heart! The Norton is spectacular! The architecture alone is worth the visit - modern, gorgeous an all encompassing full immersion experience into the best of South Florida on the outside cleverly on view from the inside. The staircase is divine! The galleries are lusciously designed and offer the mist beautiful permanent collection. The sculptures are perfectly appointed and the restaurant looks simply beautiful cant wait to go back! There are family programs as well as so many things for adults! Don’t Miss this brand new museum... the way they have blended the old space with the new is flawless and the art is whimsical, bold, sweet, beautiful ancient and cutting edge... take your pick! You will LOVE it!
Nice choice of work. Do not care for the new design. Parking not convenient.
Beautiful! Love the new expansion, as well as the respect towards the older parts of the museum. The collections and exhibits are gorgeous. Will definitely be back, again and again.
Really fun place for a date night. Fridays and saturdays are free admission!
Great museum, $5 for students with id. Art ranges from Anish Kapoor to medival art of funky looking babies to thousands of years old chinese iron implements. Wish the gift shop had postcards though.
Newly re-built under the fine eye of Lord Norman Foster the Norton is SPECTACULAR. Go and see. A first walk through will take about an hour.....but that's just a walk through. My guess is that after the first visit it will take 2 or 3 other visits to get to know this terrific museum.
A great place to expand your mind with so many interesting art work. The staff has been very accommodating and the facility upgrade is fantastic and innovative. Please visit and also become a member.
The renovations are incredible. This is a beautiful museum with a cute outdoor event space. We went on a free Friday and there was a band playing outdoors and a bar outside as well, so you could get a glass of wine to walk around and view the sculptures. I liked the more modern pieces at the museum and they also had a very nice collection of east Asian art. Each room we visited was well curated and had a great selection of pieces.
Fabulous museum! Great installations nice restaurant and fun events. Membership is worth it
A nice way to get out of the heat or rain. Check out the coffee shop if you need a hit of caffeine before perusing the galleries. I recommend getting here early if you want to avoid the crush. Late afternoons can be packed. Their recent renovation improved the galleries on the second floor. Free to visit on Fridays and Saturdays and any day for teachers with ID. They're closed on Wednesdays so plan accordingly. They have an Art After Dark program on some Friday nights and partner with the Palm Beach County Library System periodically for an artwork paired with a book discussion. On site parking is limited but they do have a lot across the street.
Really nice museum with lots too see. Wasn't too impressed by the new light exhibition (it's just one item??) that they kept advertising, but there's plenty more in the museum.
Norton museum has a wonderful collection! it was also nice to see the commitment they made to the local school communities. Lots of kids learning about art as well as the hands on collage project I need the volunteers were doing with kids was really nice. Hats off to the marketing coordinator for all of the promotion involved with the showing!
Wonderful experience. Pricey food though. Eat before you go.
This is a great place to go nice art each room has lots of different are with different exhibits all the time also an outside garden with different art must see also don’t forget to stop and do the gift shop and buy a knickknack but most of all try the restaurant it’s worth the price the service was good and the food was off the chain The The fish sandwich is unbelievable but make sure you have the pancakes also also the dessert was really good if you’re a member of the museum you get free dessert so become a member so you can get your free dessert go see Art
Wow! Friday nights here are amazing and FREE. This place is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. I could go again and again without getting bored. The exhibit with photography is so cool, the history and variety is so interesting. If you are going on a Friday night, be sure to come early or parking will be a major issue.
Beautiful building, beautiful art. Very tiny parking lot onsite though and I wasn't sure where else you are supposed to park, so I ended up down the street at a lot in front of an apartment complex.
Beautiful, especially after the renovation. Their community focus is laudable.
Superior modern art exhibition featuring work by Picasso. They also had fun workshops for children that my 2, 3, and 9 year olds all enjoyed. Road side parking available. Would recommend for any age.
After viewing the permanent and temporary exhibits, we decided to stay for lunch. Angel was our server and delightful. There were 4 of us ladies visiting from out of town. Two of us ordered the Chicken Club sandwich and found that the chicken was very dry. We could hardly even cut it. I mentioned this to Angel and IMMEDIATELY a manager came to our table to see what was the matter. When we explained, he offered to give us a new sandwich, which we declined. The chef then appeared and offered to give us a different dish; again we declined. Another manager came over with a quinoa salad for us, again declined. We were also offered a dessert! No again. Then they offered to box up the sandwich so we could take it. We explained that we had to drive 3 hours and this would not work. Angel then told us our sandwiches had been comped. All good. After we paid our check, the manager appeared with a box of cookies to take. "These will not spoil in the car". We were so impressed with the excellent service and genuine care offered by no less than 4 staff members! We will certainly recommend the Norton and the restaurant to our friends. That is the kind of service every restaurant should offer their guests. Thank you!
Great variety of artists. The Chihuly ceiling is exquisite!
After years of planning and construction, the new Norton opened February 9, 2019 and it’s magnificent! A world class building with fabulous gallery space for items new to the collection as well as old favorites. There’s a new covered patio, an event lawn with a big screen and a lovely sculpture garden. Art After Dark has moved to Friday nights when the museum will stay open until 10pm! Also new— the Norton will remain FREE on Fridays and Saturdays! The restaurant is open to the public, even if you’re not touring the museum. Oh, and the new enlarged store sells all sorts of fun and different things! Amazing place! You should go.
So happy the museum reopened. Great pieces and such a dynamic museum with lots of activities for all ages! Absolutely recommend!
Great collection well displayed and new expansion is well done!
A great plus for the city of West Palm Beach. Various unique exhibitions
We felt and ws uncomfortable there. First the lady said are we going to be on our best behavior before going in....then a guard told a person that she can have her backpack pocketbook on her back she had to take one scrap off. I am not trying to make this a race thing but that's how we feel.
I was very upset as I walked into the beautiful new museum. The first piece of "ART" that I saw was a very large painting that said "Wipe OUT White Privilege". Do you really consider this "ART". I am the son of immigrants who came here with nothing and worked hard all of our lives to survive. I must have missed the privilege somewhere along the way. Would you have hung a painting as "ART" if it had disparaged people of color? I don't think so - that makes you racist - shame on you.
Absolutely stunning, a beautiful museum intent on its mission to share art of all types and mediums in dynamic settings inside and out. My first trip was a private small tour group and our docent was nothing short of amazing. Her riveting stories about the pieces, the displays and the architecture allowed us to learn and admire so much in z short time. We enjoyed lunch on property with a unique film of art brought to life. Toured the gardens on my own. Love, love, love. Bought myself a membership and plan on visiting often.
Great place for the whole family. Plus, Saturdays they do a kids workshop. They teach about a certain type of art, and than the kids can practice.
A large space with a few excellent works but the price is not worth it.
Wonderful spacious art gallery. A must visit if you are in the area. Nice cafe arwa, could do with a little more seating.
Very interesting pieces of artwork, with 3 floors to browse all of the art and historical information. However, I would not recommend it for small children. They do have a lovely cafe in the garden area for a quick drink/lunch while visiting
Because of the location being in my neighborhood I will still be a supporting member, however I was disappointed in the renovations. This was the first time I was back and miss the quaintness of the museum and how it made you feel warm and fuzzy. Now it looks very instutional, like a hospital decorated with high end art. The parking also even on slow days is far from the building making it harder to get to. Did enjoy the Poster Collection, but didn't see much in the store representative of this special event. Looking forward to seeing how they handle future collection presentations.
Bested my expectations!!! Newly renovated and completed with style and grace. Terrific experience and wonderful display of artists New cafe and restaurant are very friendly attentive staff and knowledgeable of the Museum We will return
A showpiece of SE Florida. An amazing art collection that changes every time we visit. World-class but largely unappreciated. Show your support for this great org.
The best art museum in the State of Florida with an impressive 19th and 20th century European and American collections, including several important Picassos. Their new buildings by Norman Foster are particularly impressive -- if not monumental. Free admission on Friday and Saturday, with easy parking on weekends, make this a very accessible destination to get to.
Fantastic, huge art Museum. Very easy to navigate. Outstanding collection. Free parking right across the street.
I liked this place! I wish I had known about it years ago. They have some very nice pieces. Entrance was free but that might have been special for that day.
Super collection in a newly renovated space. Dont miss the chihuly glass ceiling.
Great place to go and enjoy art. I took my girlfriend and we truly did enjoy it. Would recommend.
There was live music the band was excellent. The band members are very skilled players. Lovely time.
We loved it. The staff was courteous and helpful. Lunch at the restaurant was divine. We toured all the exhibits on the first floor. Saving the other floors for our next visit. We are proud of the Norton.
Very nice museum. Free on Friday and Saturday to Palm Beach residents. Just give them your ZIP code at registration. Parking is across the street. Closed on Wednesday.
This place looks fabulous newly renovated and beautiful very futuristic and free on Friday and Saturdays go check it out today, and so much history wow
Fabulous renovation, especially the way existing parts of the museum were married with new additions. Permanent collection is now displayed impressively.
Love the new Norton! The renovated building makes the Norton look like a world class museum instead of a local museum. The outdoor space is very comfortable.
I was very excited to see the new Norton. I checked this website to make sure that it was open. We went to valet parking where we were told that the museum was open to the public, but the valet was for a private event. We were sent to park on the other side of the building. We circled the area three times failing to find parking. We gave up and went home. I gave three stars because the museum looked really nice from the outside. Good luck to others trying to park and enjoy it.
Really enjoyed the museum and restaurant! Great way to spend the afternoon. The food and service at the testay were really good. The decor is very modern and comfortable. Definitely recommend a visit.
This place is beautiful. Wanted to spend more time there, but had to go. Tried leaving several times but there just kept being more Museum. Will definitely need to make another visit.
Visited here with my bf after the renovation. The architecture of the museum is really impressive. We joined a guided tour and the docents were really knowledgeable and engaged us on the tour, asking questions and what we thought of the different pieces of art. The hour tour went by so quickly and was so enjoyable we barely realized time went by. The museum is big and has so much to offer, that you could get lost in the art for hours. There’s even a café!
Finally got to see the new addition and recent renovations, it is absolutely beautiful, state of the art building, open and welcoming spaces throughout the museum, eye catching exhibitions, awe inspiring sculptures and showcases, the family studio program on saturdays it’s fantastic for the whole family (sign up way ahead of time as it fill us super quick) hands down one of the best art museum in south Florida. Take advantage of the free admission on fridays and Saturday’s!!!!!
Great place. Has a nice restaurant now, and is even free certain days of the week. Always great exhibits. Perfect place to spend a few relaxing hours every few weeks.
Absolutely wonderful experience from the time we walked in to the moment we left. Gorgeous exhibits. Art after dark is an a really fun time also.
Really awesome to visit, so much to see.
Spectacular renovation. Jazz entertainment this week! Amazing artwork displayed. Staff friendly and helpful. Free to public Fri and Sat!
Great exhibit and lecture on Hollywood posters. Will go back to view remainder of museum
Great Collections, BEAUTIFUL SCULPTURE Garden, free Fri & Sat!
Best museum around, good variety of classical art. modern art, international art, sculpture and photography. Arts after dark is a real treat.
The newly renovated Norton Museum is so gorgeous. The architecture is amazing very contemporary. I’ve already recommended everyone I know I go. They a lot of big name artist.
I went with my husband and two kids(14 & 10 years old) for the grand reopening. The new museum is gorgeous! I can't wait to go back.
Love the Norton. Especially on Friday night.♥️
Beautiful, modern and older art. A bunch of neat beautiful pieces, a beautiful museum overall. Security staff a little cold and hostile. I don’t know if it’s there job or not, but even if you smiled at them they wouldn’t even smile back. Or if you said hi they didn’t respond. Other staff was nice though
Wonderful exhibits, great variety from contemporary art to antiquity, including masters such as Ruben, Monet. Calm place to meander and have lunch. Great restaurant and coffee bar.
Elegant and awe-inspiring, the Norton Museum of Art is the pinnacle of art in Florida. I would recommend it to anyone interested in any type of art.
Excellent artists available certain times for free. I went to Art after Dark looking forward to the next one.
