This Museum corresponds to the category of History museum.
Family enjoyed the historical and displayed they had years ago when military begin, what weapons they used as well give you a screen to read about different backgrounds about certain ones that serve our country. You just have to go and see for yourself to better understand. The admission isn't expensive either, it's like you making a donation to help our country. My boys like it especially my 11 year old because he wants to join the military when he gets older.
A gem in the rough. The displays were well done and informative and a great find for any historian. Plenty of info to teach the kids and lots to show for the price. Vets get a discount and should definitely check it out.
Coming from out of state, I personally had a really great time here. They have a wide range of exhibits, all of which have real history in them with the use of authentic artifacts. The staff member I paid my admission fee to was very nice, and gave me some useful information of really cool places nearby, as well as some information for a restoration project I'm undertaking. Overall, it was a fantastic visit, and I greatly recommend it to anyone even mildly interested in military history.
Amazing historical museum. Needs more support from veterans and proud Americans to understand our history.
Great little museum with lots of interesting artefacts. Very informative and educational. If you like to take your time and read information, then you’ll like this place. Staff are also very friendly and good bathrooms.
Very nice museum with many great attractions. The staff was very friendly and shared some very humorous stories with me during my visit.
It's like going back in time.
Call to get a group tour if your going with a lot of kids. We were blessed and had the FOUNDER give us the tour. He was so very kind and full of knowledge. So much information here and so much history. Truly a treasure of a museum in Kissimmee. Prices are super reasonable. There’s even a surprise library here. I went here with a group and it took us about 1 hr and a half to fully complete the walk around
Great place to bring your family to learn real history. They have many exhibitions and guides to help you understand the men and machines used during many conflicts. Good rate prices and special deals available.
Nice walk through time. I really enjoyed it
Take a step back into our military history, spend time reading and learning, can take pics inside some military vehicles.
Nice place to visit for a piece of history, very informative.
Nice place!!
Neat little museum we spent an hour there and saw the whole thing, so not really much to it. They have some cool stuff but I'm not sure it was really worth the entrance fee
As a veteran we at Good San support them and thet support us
This was our first visit to the museum. Well worth the low admission price. We thoroughly enjoyed the well preserved exhibits and presentation from the Current Conflict all the way back to Buffalo Soldiers exhibit. Thanks for keeping our military history alive and respected.
lots of interesting stuff here, found a great deal on Groupon so me and the family checked it out , spent about an hour and learned slot. Very friendly customer service
Alot of info, displays, and history.
Wonderful place to wander through and see how the military had changed.
This is located in Kissimmee, FL. Clean, interesting, wish it were larger.
Staff is great, the selection is cool but limited.
Extraordinary collection of memorabilia, information, documents, books from US Civil War to our time.
Great place to explore with the family. Love the set up of the place. I would recommend doing the tour for excellent stories.
The most incredible place I've ever been to
Fantastic little museum! About the size of a high school cafeteria, but the content inside is well worth it. Everyone was knowledgeable on their subject and very friendly.
I would say just okay. It's more like a personal collection from the owner. The price is fine, which rightly so reflects the lack of things to look at. Odd that it had an African American focus or bias on the wars pre WW1
Learn a lot about the different wars the US had been in. Thanks for providing this for the public.
Nice setup
Educate yourself and learn some interesting facts about the US armed forces. This place is an undiscovered goldmine. My kids loved it.
Great place for history buffs. Excellent displays
Not an overly large museum where you can be overwhelmed. Very good displays. Staff was very kind.
Economical. We had a large group so it was divided into 2 groups for a docent led tour. Our group had a very lively interesting docent who seems to love history, and is active doing civil war re-enactments. Worth a visit!
Very nice museum. Excellent displays that support our history and veterans. Highly recommended!!
It’s a cool little museum totally worth the trip !
Everyone loved the history here, even the young kids, very affordable and staff was super friendly.
Smaller museum , but packed with great memorabilia. Lots to see , read and learn , it has a library inside too. My kid likes this place, it's great that he gets to dress in the uniform for pics. Guides are very knowledgeable too.
If you want to spend a couple hours learning about military history, this is the place to come to. For students who are looking for a topic for a paper, or just interested in the subject, we have a fairly comprehensive library as well.
Had a guided tour by Al who knew his stuff. Covered all the wars dating back to the seminoles. Highly recommended
Awesome place they need your support!
What a little gem of a place, helpful and knowledgeable staff, excellent range of exhibitions, some extremely personal stories and experiences depicted, really easy to find, good facilities, to sum up an inspiration, go see it you will be glad you did 5* establishment, thank you.
Wonderful place, a real tribute too our men and women who serve and have served.
Awesome place. Everyone needs to go through this place. Really enjoyed it.
Great museum, the guided tour is included in the very inexpensive ticket price. We learned so much more with the guide!!
Small but informative
My kids and I had a great time here. Was a walk back through time and history. Got to see lots of guns, military vehicles, ammunition, uniforms. We were privileged to meet and be guided by Sgt. McCloud who was very courteous and professional. My little one was excited to get his very own dog-tags made with his name and information. And we got to pick up several nice items at the gift shop! Recommend a stop by here.
Very educational and emotional anyone with kids take them here educate them about these brave men and women
Excellent place to see military history ERAs and displays.
It's not that big of a building but there is a lot to see. We took my 95 year old dad who was in WWII and Korean War he really enjoyed it. Everyone was very friendly and thanked him for his service. If you are into Military history this is the place for you.
Hopefully more time there for book signings as well as the fantastic display of military memorabilia
Awesome place!!! Everything very well kept with love for military history. Good price. Very professional and passionate staff. Place to spend all afternoon. Pity the tank outside was covered with plastic. Strongly recommended!!!!
It is very good place go with kids... Good history. Very emotional if u have loved ones in military
Enjoyed going there I enjoy vintage military thanks what's a good experience the staff member there was very knowledgeable and friendly
Well presented lots of history if my veteran dad loved the presentation and said the museum was rich in history it is true.
Cheap place to visit. Vehicles are the real draw everything thing else is rather common. You can tell it's a labor of love and they don't ask much for entry so you can feel good supporting them. There gift shop is nice with some unique authentic items. If your a collector or veteran you will enjoy having a look around.
War bluffs will enjoy this small museum. You expect to send minutes to an hour here
This is a very cool facility for anybody interested in military history and gear. The guy working at the counter was exceptionally informative and knew his job very well. Although a small facility, it is packed with tons of information that will educate those who are actually looking to learn about the history of our military. I wish this Museum focused more on the branches of our military and the evolution, verses wars, but ultimately, a great experience.
Beautiful authentic exhibits from all our wars..Several vehicles, uniforms, and many types of weapons .... Was especially impressed with the Korean conflict section, and the tribute to the 65th Infantry Regiment," The Borinqueneers" the all Puerto Rican troop from the island..Kudos to the museum's director's for this effort.... This is a must see for military enthusiasts..Will be sure to visit again.
It was a lot of fun for the entire family and very easy for handicappedthe people were knowledgeable and very attentive but not overly so
My dad served in World War II & found pretty interesting....enjoyed
Wrong poster depicted USAF F-18s. AF never flew those..
It’s small but my son that is Army fan was really impressed with everything. He keeps asking me to come back! :)
My husband I went with our 16 & 9 year old. It’s was surprisingly very cool and informative experience. We are not a military savvy family however it was a great experience a lot more to offer when you pass the double doors. Something affordable, fun and quick to do. Our children thanked us at the end, I’m sure it’s something they will remember and be more understanding and grateful to the scarafice these heroes make.
Good place...
It was an amazing experience, and very educational the gentlemen that showed us around some was a vet himself and he told us a few things many people won't talk about. It is a Vet owned place and everything is donated. It's truly beautiful and a wonderful experience I'd come back again.
Wonderful place, really hits home, the best $7 I've spent in forever.
Went for a Navy retirement ceremony. Beautiful
All the displays are well done with lots of details good place to bring the family
Well worth a visit
Went to this museum as a school project , loved it They offered a student discount and every object had its own little description, favorite part had to be the detailed planes hanging from above
Nice little local museum to check out!
Nice little museum, sows all history from Civil War till current time, lot artifacts.
Loved It
Very informative, fun and educational. The price is very reasonable.
Well organized. The artifacts are in top notch condiditon.
This place is pretty cool. If you know your history of wars, you will enjoy it too. I knew most, but not all. There is a lot of artifacts there, and a lot of models and reproductions. I enjoyed this place and do recommend it. $7 for adults at the door. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because it didn’t seem to be anyone to ask questions to. I’m sure there are some retired veterans that would love to volunteer and tell stories.
Visited after museum hours to attend a meeting space event. We were allowed to wander the museum, and I was very impressed. Will definitely return to spend more time.
Great place. Didn't know what to expect pulling up to it. But after spending over an hour there, would have stayed longer but they were closing, came away very impressed. They did a great job of displaying the artifacts and giving great information. Would definitely recommend if you are a History or Military fan.
A gem of a find, popped in here for an hour while on the way to the airport going home. The guy on the desk was very friendly and we had a nice brief chat about his family's and my military experience. I wish I had more time in the museum itself to read all the descriptions on the exhibits too but I ran out of time. The admission price was very reasonable and got a discount too for being a veteran. This is something the USA does very well, they treat all service people and veterans pretty nice even if not a USA vet such as myself. If I'm ever back in Orlando I will put aside more time to visit this museum to fully enjoy all the exhibits on display. Thank you again to the admissions guy.
Friendly staff and informative displays. This is a great option for a history field trip
Great place to see military artifacts
Small footprint with lots of historical information and honoring our servicemen and women!
A wonderful collection of militaria. Full of great American history.
As a vet I really like this place....bought back alot of memories. Will return again the next time I'm in town.
Great place...worth the trip! Lots of history.
Great museum
great place to see small but covers a lot and has some really nice memorabilia to see. Very friendly people
Great history. Well done displays, knowledge staff.
Tons of items representing every war. So much more than I expected. Low admission fee. Nice tribute to our men and women who served or are currently serving.
A small museum packed with military exhibits from the United States' wars, ranging from the Civil War to Afghanistan. The museum has a small collection of historical books and newspapers as well. If you're interested in military history, this place is a great visit, with your $7 admission giving it great value.
The museum experience was great. Plenty of items to look at and read about. The staff very helpful.
Very educated
Grandpa was 82nd Airborne. Our 16 year old son is very interested in WWII. He wanted to visit the Museum of Military History. It was a wonderful experience! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The exhibits are reverent and well organized. The price of entry is extremely reasonable. My son smiled and soaked it all in! Thank you so much for your time and dedication. You are appreciated. Thank you to ALL who serve, past and present.
Absolutely fabulous. Exhibits close up and personal . Easy viewing & exhibits reading info.
Awesome place for both adults, young adult and younger children. Very educational, very informative. Good for young children, teens and college student doing a history project of any kind. Lots of other great ideas are being talked about for the future of this museum. This is a must visit on your bucket list.
Very informative and lots of interesting artifacts.. thank you for keeping the memory of our fallen and decorated brothers and sisters alive.
Well worth a visit, discount for ex service, you can easily spend hours in there and still not see it all
Much more than it looks like from the outside. Well worth a few hours to take it all in. Staff are awesome. Looking for something to do when the lines at the parks are too long or the weather is too hot or rainy...tgis is the place to go. And the cost is amazingly low. Great value.
Cool lil piece of military history
Now, I thought it was a little light on Marine Corps history, but it does a good job on the supplemental services like the Army and the Navy. My wife was very impressed at the amount of information about women in the military and I enjoyed showing her some of the toys I used to convince the communists about the error of their ways.
Excellent must see Museum! Staff is Wonderful and great displays.
This is an excellent little (big) museum. They have a lot of information and artifacts about American wars. They also have a reading room and props you can use to take photos.
Awesome display of history
Very interesting, got my name in the history map via sharpie. Highly recommend.
Very interesting and informative place
Very interesting,i went there a few days ago and the tour guide was veey precise about everything and he even knew everything and didnt need a script or anything,if you wanna go do something just for fun and with your family i seriously suggest you go here
Only If your in the area and want to do something educational, fun and with a reasonable price go for it. Deffinitly doesn't look like a professional well displayed museum more like someone's personal collection. The part I liked the most was some of the exhibits were not enclosed like in other museum and their gift shop is really cool.
The place is amazing how many things you can learn that is not in the text book at school. They have a really big library that you can browse and read. The volunteer veteran help me and explained many dout that i have and he speaks Spanish. He is amazing like the other personal.
Great place to see history
This was an amazing place to go during my honeymoon with my son. It was something we could all do together, very affordable, and completely rememberable. We even got custom-made dog tags to celebrate our wedding.
Great museum. Well worth the visit. Covers everything in U.S. military history.
Enjoyable small well run museum.
Great place to visit. I took my son here who is considering joining the military and we both enjoyed the exhibits. Very affordable and plenty of displays to keep you entertained. Worth a stop if your in the area visiting and like military history/stuff.
This place and the people are so cool. I went there just to make a donation but I wish I had more time to look around. Will definitely go back.
Great military memoribilia from civil war forward. Worth a visit.
Lots of great displays and artifacts. Detailed information about each war to go along with the artifacts as well as videos and interviews with veterans. The volunteers were very friendly and shared their own stories from their own experiences. It was great!
A great learning place for our military history...
Very neat items in this museum. I'd definitely recommend stopping by. My fiance is a veteran and they constantly thanked him for his service. We especially loved the humvees. I was fascinated with the Civil War exhibit. It's an excellent find.. and not crowded at all.
Awesome to see all our guys go through to keep is safe. GBT
Great place to see military items
Awesome place and great exhibts. Veterans on staff for questions.
This by far is one of the most beautiful and well decorated military museum I have ever seen.
Best Military Museum ever visited! Fair price for the amazing collection of historical events that the United States passed through.
Loved it!! Can't wait to go back! Great price and amazing memorabilia!
Great place for young and old for information on all wars with loads of displays and great people working there. Inexpensive entry and a time well spent. Recommend everyone to spend some time here to understand what America has done in her life.
This is a great place. Lots of History and knowledge. They have many antique original objects.
Super Museum, we had a guided tour by a Gulf War Veteran, great guy and very knowledgeable! It takes you through all conflicts they have been involved in from the American Civil War right through to the Gulf War. If you are in the area give it a visit.
It's cool to see the freedom our forefathers fought for.
Wow it’s really big it has a lot of features keep up the good work.
Took the kids and they loved it. Staffs as nice as they could be. If you like Military History this is definitely worth the look.
Excellent Museum of multiple war memorabilia. I have gone twice and it was updated again. As a Vietnam Vet I appreciate attempts to show what occurred there.
Really liked this museum.
For such a small museum, this one is quite interesting.
Great little museum covering the wars from the Civil Wars to present. Each area is dedicated to each time period with items from each war.
Nostalgia @ it finest!!! So glad this little gem stone is here
Small but informative museum. The place is great to bring the family and it won't cost you an arm and a leg to go.
History nice to visit
Everything you need to know about our great service men and women. A must see
Very informative, cook artifacts and military items. Nice staff and knowledgeable about the museum pieces. I recommend visiting this museum.
This is a great place to walk around, lots of really cool military history with a library you can spend a long time checking things out watching the videos and reading the placards would recommend to my friends and would return
I learned more about the past wars which was fascinating. And I came out of there feeling emotional seeing photos and reading actual writings of the soldiers that had been in the middle east. As these conflicts happened during my lifetime and my sister was there. It was hard to imagine what she went through. God bless these men and women.Thank you
Very interesting, educational place.
A lot of history to take in. As a veteran, I really appreciated the in-depth research that has been done to present to the public. Thank you for the acknowledgement of those who served and those who sacrificed all for our country. I SALUTE THEM, ONE AND ALL.
Everything was laid out well and the prices were fair. I just wish someone walked around with you to give more details.
It's actually kinda tiny but the admission price is fittingly small to go along with that. There are vets that wander about and add insight and answer the questions they can. Tony the guide was great. He seemed genuinely happy to be there and help us. Can't say enough about how much better he made the place. The displays are decent, could use a bit more work, but you get in for 7 bucks so I gave it 5 stars
All gave some, some gave all.
Amazing museum which should get much more foot traffic than it does. I'd encourage anyone and everyone to walk around and learn about history.
Very cool place to visit.
Truly a learning experience not only of war history but also of life and sacrifice. From the Civil War thru Mid-East Operations. Well worth the cost and time spent. It tugged on my heart and brought forth tears of sorrow and admiration. Thank you for the experience.
Great place for learning about heroism of our servicemen.
More interesting than expected, a lot of facts and a great learning opportunity for children.
Extremely interesting and informative. Lots of facts I was unaware of. Full size jeeps etc. And even a tank on the front lawn. Very fair admission prices too. Veterans are only $5.00 & seniors only $6.00.
Great insight into US military history.
Amazing little Museum. Found them on Groupon while sightseeing. Very worth the stop. Had some great items on display. If you're in area - it's a good spot to check out. We spent about an hour and a half looking at everything and reading.
Great place to gain detailed knowledge of our military history. The tour guide Mr. Alvarado , it's so enthusiastic and clearly makes it a unique learning experience. For sure it's worth the time and money sent.
Very nice place. Friendly staff. Very historical. Definitely a good place for a family day or a date day.
Great History. As A Veteran I Enjoyed The Tour. The Staff Was Super Great.
Simple but great place.
A nice piece of the past to the present. My son was very impressed.
