Small but worth the visit. So much beautiful African art. Very inspiring! They also host events that are highly worth attending.
A place for modern day artist with revolutionary Ideas and unlimited creativity. LOVE MOCA

A lot to learn .Good place for all ages .

If you like contemporary art; this is for you.
Kids enjoyed the event that was held at the museum.
Exhibitions are ok, nothing worth driving for. The kids program is fantastic but has no right PR.shame
Great museum
Amazing! Simply amazing.
Great fun
(Translated by Google) It was great the exhibition, only that the museum is very small but for me it was worth it ... 10 dollars the entrance (Original) Estuvo genial la exposición, solo que el museo es muy pequeño pero para mí valió la pena... 10 dólares la entrada
Such an awesone exibit!!!
A good place, but small.
Can't seem to stay open frequently enough.
Free outdoor music shows the last Friday of each month!
HAD SO MUCH FUN HERE WITH MY CREW
Nothing great there anymore.... More like a neighborhood craft fair Go to ICA instead, not big but at least they are knowledgeable. ...
It was interesting and educational.
I have been attending for years . This Museum has always featured great Art and Artist . The displays are always well arranged and thought out . The programs for the community alway great such as art classes . The last Friday of every month the MOCA features outdoor Jazz with some of the Stellar best from Florida and beyond . Always a great crowd ranging from ages 20 on up and Mixed in ethnicity. There are a few restaurants close by for food and further entertainment. Cafe Creme for men some great food and spirits plus well made desserts delivered with excellent service . The luna Star Cafe for Live Music ,food , beer and wine .
I visited this museum while on a trip to the area. The museum isn’t that big, but it was enjoyable! There is plenty of space to walk around and view the exhibits. They even have a gift shop with books, bags, etc. If you’re in the area please support this museum! Keep the arts alive!!
I enjoy different exhibit and tour . It is a nice museum actually . Good low key place to go on a date.
A gem in North Miami. Excellent, informative exhibits. Free admission for North Miami residents. Live entertainment once a month. Cafe nearby. Ample free parking. Bring the entire family and experience a beautiful local attraction. There's also a gift shop on site with friendly helpful staff.
Outstanding Presentation!
Love MOCA!!!!
The art there was interesting and very pleasing the eyes
(Translated by Google) Interesting (Original) Interesante
MOCA is on one level and the displays are whimsical.
Love this little gem and Friday jazz nights
Waste of time. Quite embarrassing for Miami.
A little Gem of a museum in North Miami
Nice
Love it
Small museum with interesting exhibits. Right now it's showcasing artists from Haiti, which was really amazing. Also, admission is free if you live in North Miami.
Flew in from Salt Lake and was excited to explore a broad selection of art museums. We were charged $10 to enter and the museum was much smaller than expected. If you are traveling dont waste the time, but if you are a local or student the admission is only $3. That would be worth it.
They had a great exhibition of contemporary art from Haiti. The museography was very well made and the quality of the pieces was amazing.
They are laid back. Can see the work up close and take pictures. Inspiring, using materials discarded after the 2010 earthquake.
Love this place. Free jazz concerts the last Friday of every month under the stars! Great museum.
Eco friendly building is beautiful in a modern way. Docent tours are free and highly recommended. Each tour guide brings out different aspects of the artworks.
Small but well curated
(Translated by Google) It is a small but very interesting museum, super friendly employees and the museum store has beauties at more than reasonable prices (Original) Es un museo pequeño pero muy interesante, super amables los empleados y la tienda del museo tiene bellezas a precios mas que razonables
Very formal and well placed pieces with amazingly structured tour.
A lot of the art work was depressing at this time. It was my first and last time there. Because it took very little time to go through it. Like about 20 minutes. They need more rooms or a second floor.
(Translated by Google) The exhibition is very good, the works of Lionel Smit highlighted. But we did not appreciate the ultra cold reception (there was only one other visitor so almost nobody), we had to say hello 3 times before we see, no wifi to learn about what We see, inside we were only spoken to be sure that our 4 year old son does not touch anything. No gift shop or cafeteria. I said goodbye out after 30 minutes because it's very small ... no one answered us, the nose in his phone, the gentleman of the home had better things to do.
Good
Great place. Great art. Friendly staff
Not working
This is a gem! The exhibit was great.
Nice local museum with monthly jazz concerts on the lawn
Very beautiful art and 5 dollar entrance!
Great exhibits! Family friendly
only wish I had mo' time. next time! wonderful space, lovely folk in the public sphere. impressed by book section in museum shop. call me envious! can't wait to darken their door again.
More of an exhibit than a museum, quite small.
Very nice. Art and music
Staff was friendly
Love love ❤️
Nice place. I love all of the paintings and figures.
A little small but worth the visit. Staff was friendly and helpful in the gift shop. The museum is located near some cafes and spots to visit.
Great museum... great outdoor free shows
(Translated by Google) Very little to see (Original) Muy poco que ver
Interesting collection of modern Latin American art
Drove all the way up there and it WAS CLOSED because they are changing exhibits Way too small
(Translated by Google) Attractive (Original) Atractivo
It was quite interesting and the price was right. I was told they have different displays at different times.
Loved the museum.
Had the greatest display of Ayisyen recyclable Art.
Art classes for kids are awesome! I wish can be more than one every month
Awesome art... Awesome community
It is a very small museum. It takes maybe 30 min to go through the whole place. Very friendly staff. Free parking everywhere. Not a very nice neighborhood but seemed safe enough. Good variety of food options around the area if you want to combine the experience.
Love this place more and more!
They have a great free program for teens to do all types of arts.
Underserved fine museum We go to the jazz concerts at night, World class musicians all the time
Absolutely love this place The art was so nice I learned so much from going I will go again ( ◜‿◝ )♡( ◜‿◝ )♡
Art is the important way of expressing your feelings towards people, places, things
MOCA jazz night featuring great artists! Here: Aaron Lebos Reality!!!!!!
Workers make you feel uncomfortable while you look at the art by standing by and watching your every move . Very intimidating and needs to be dealt with . Overall the art in the museum is small and has a few thought provoking pieces . Just wish the workers didn't make me and my friend very uncomfortable
The AfriCobra exhibit was showing during our visit and it was absolutely breathtaking. Such a great collection. I'm sure everything they show there is high caliber.
An amazing place! It's a most!!!
The Afrocobra exhibit going on until early April 2019 is a must see. Expertly curated with a profound message as well as very colorful and beautiful art.
Came for Pòtoprens art exhibition. It has tremendous art power. I hope it will help Little Haiti in reinforcing a sense of community.
Very cool and small
Nice museum to visit it's on the small side but you can spend an hour walking around. They have arts and crafts for kids on certain weekends which is nice. I would visit again
Went to the Black History Concert in the Park here and it was awesome!
The museum is very small, I mean VERY small. The exhibit is therefore hit or miss as there is only one exhibit at a time. The one today was a miss. There is WiFi and you can sit outside but there is no place to get a coffee or anything. Go here only if you know you are interested in the exhibit, otherwise it more than likely will be a wasted trip.
Perfect!
Awesome venue and museum
Everybody should go there
The place is to small I will not recommend it to none of your out of town gs
Love the art..love the free jazz concerts every last Friday of the month even more
Amazing 1970s Black Art exhibit!
(Translated by Google) EXCELLENT (Original) EXCELENTE
Great musuem with friendly staff and live Jazz on last Fri of the month
Kind of boring. Not too ad though.
Very small and I believe it only exhibits one artist at a time. I enjoyed it regardless, just wish it was a bit bigger and with more to see.
Nice Community. Friendly atmosphere.
This was an amazing museum. It had wonderfully bright colored paintings with powerful messages.
Unexpectedly nice exhibit along with an outdoor free jazz concert. I think that is held once a month.
Nice place
I joined as an artist member for $30. Looked at the Jason Fellander photo/paintings show. Wore my first pair of virtual reality glasses. Nice venue for downtown North Miami. Next to Cafe Creme, Billy's Pub 2, Luna Star and several anitique/design shops.
Offers very interesting tours of the exhibits, highly recommend!
Nice place, but it's under construction making somewhat difficult to access.
I visited MOCA during Art Basal Miami 2017 to view the Jacob Felländer "How to Unlock a Portrait" exhibit. The exhibit was extremely detailed and vivid. Jacob's explanation of his method of photography was very intriguing, yet made it easy for me to understand how he arrived at each picture. I highly recommend this exhibit. It will be on display at MOCA until 02/11/2018.
This place has some decent art. The staff was very friendly. You can get in for free if you are a Bank of American customer. I don’t think I would go too far out of my way to visit again. Some of the art was what I would consider low-effort. There isn’t a lot of material there, just enough to fill a few large rooms. Will most likely not return.
Great pieces
eh, there was not much to look at and honestly a bit boring (most likely to me, but there was not much to look at)
(Translated by Google) Very interesting the antique museum. You have to know him It will like you. (Original) Muy interesante el museo de antigüedades. Tienes que conocerlo. Te gustará.
My neighborhood museum. A must see if your coming through the city. A hidden gem in North Miami.
Michelle! Yeah
I
Love this little museum, super affordable and worth a little stroll. It is smaller than you'd expect on the outside but the exhibits pack a lot of punch. When I went the exhibit was AfroCobra an art movement full of black empowerment, black panther references, and tons of color. You can really take your time here and soak it in. My only complaint is the gift shop, they should have affordable trinkets from local vendors and artists. If your exhibit is about empowerment then your gift shop should be too!
It is a nice concept but the fact the museum had only one exhibition open was a great disappointment.
Jazz at mocca. Excellent M
Nuff Said
I will join, this is a great art space and the exhibit was spot on
This s a wonderful, though small museum. This won't hold a day's visit but will certainly make for a 2-3 hours visit provided one is liking modern art. The surrounding streets are nice as well
10ap ksp
Nice space and friendly staff.

Small great museum, love their selection of artists, very well maintained and curated.
Monthly bike ride with North Miami Police Department, absolutely the best.
(Translated by Google) It is a very small museum, the positive is that they give you a discount for being a student.
Great
Bring the entire family and experience a beautiful local attraction
Great art and always hosting nice events .
Great place, every time we're in Miami we stop by here.
(Translated by Google) It was closed until April 23. Unfortunately, it does not appear when looking for information about it. We had to go back without seeing anything.
Great exhibition by rolando pena‼️ Rolan& Suzanne from Duesseldorf, Germany
Very hip museum showcasing contemporary art. Even the building is a beautiful piece of art in itself.
(Translated by Google) Museum quite disappointing. If you are in the area it's a good time. I went on a rainy day and the 2 rooms are done in 20mins. Nevertheless there were 2-3 works that I really found interesting. $ 5 entrance A pretty small museum a bit disappointing. Tour did in 20mins, 2 rooms and few explanations. $5 entrance A pretty small museum a bit disappointing. Tour did in 20mins , 2 rooms and few explanations.
Nice exhibits.
ArtSci event outside. The weather was good. The event was more about health than Art. Free pizza was great.
This museum has fantastic, thoughtful exhibits that address the diverse arts and cultural traditions of Florida, as well as social justice themes.

Fun little museum for an afternoon. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area.
(Translated by Google) Nice place, good art show, the gallery is small (Original) Lindo lugar, buena muestra de arte, la galería es pequeña
Regular, poco para ver
Most of the collection is gone and massive construction in front
Very good environment to visit with family, staff is amazing specially a young lady her name is "Madjinie" she gave me a very nice tour, she was so friendly I really have to come back to visit again
The end of the inside museum viewing upstairs has constitutional documents. Make sure to see all of the outside works as well.
Very small, but caters to local and under-represented artists. The monthly community events in the plaza are always a hit! Currently under construction.
Very interesting museum; worth the time and trip. Recommend.
nice
amazing place interesting
Not even close to what I was expecting. Visit galleries instead due to more choices of art. MOCA was “ok” but it’s a One-And-Done type of museum.
The museum is really small. The frequent patrons are snobs. It's cliche. I don't feel a sense of belonging. Anyway, they have events outside the museum every Friday nights. That's the best experience.
Beautiful place and interesting exhibits.
Very nice layout, the exhibit was quite good, the museum deserves to grow
It has a moat
Love it. Great ambiance
Good place
