You may have noticed that it reaches an opinions average is practically the highest, and it is founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may be pretty sure that the rating is very faithful. If people have bothered to value when they've done well, it works.

REVIEWS OF Mission Nombre de Dios Museum IN Florida

Mark Mefferd

Mission Nombre de Dios Museum is the perfect complement to the Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche. The historians in the museum were very knowledgeable and took time to explain the history of the mission and the people who came and established it. It includes an original coffin, pictures, and artifacts related to the mission. Take the time to talk to these nice folks when you visit.

A place so inspiring. To meditate about the life and death. A little noisy for the repairs and the excavation and the new extension area, but an interesting place!!!!

GEORGE ELLARD

The history is amazing. We want to marry there.

We really enjoyed the displays in the museum as well as interaction with the knowledgeable and friendly staff. We learned quite a bit about the history of the area and the influence of the church on the early days of European expansion into the New World. The only issue we had was wishing that there were more displays and information. Well worth the visit.

We spend Sept 7th 2019 here. Founders Day. The ceremony and Mass were excellent. The grounds, even though they were working in certain places were a wonderful to walk through. Everywhere we went was HCA. The staff were very friendly and assisted in answering any questions we had. I don't usually give out five stars but we enjoyed this place so much and we felt the peace of Our Lord Jesus Christ here, they most certainly earned it.

Kelly Custeau

If you have not visited the Mission Nombre de Dios Museum, your trip is incomplete especially if you enjoy places of historical value like l do. The museum features a diorama depicting Spanish explorer, Pedro Mendez de Avila and his contingency as they set foot on the American continent. That place is vividly marked by a very tall steel cross, visible from distant areas. In the museum you will find long opaque banners depicting explorers, religious and figures of the Spanish Crown. Books, artifacts as well as religious icons are also available. Visitors are able to purchase many items relating to the founding of this amazing city, Saint Augustine, Florida. *****

Hugely historical - a must see for history buffs especially those who love artifacts and a look-back at how and when Florida was discovered by the Spain as well as what went on in the generations afterward. Also relevantly told is the indigenous Native American story. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and was a pleasant addition.

Cris Flessak - Vivajando

An historic place celebrating our Christian heritage, especially the Sacred Acre where the Gospel was first presented on our soil.

Absolutely awesome, we celebrated Mass in the chapel. After 107 miles of walking from Sanford, we got to come home to Our Lady.
