So it is probably receiving 3 stars because we decided to do this last minute and I didn't research much. But here goes, it took us over an hour to get parked. The gates open at 8:30(earlier than the center) be there early and be prepared to be on a two lane highway for awhile. I also suggest that you allow this visit to two days plus. With the crowds and wait times, it makes it impossible to enjoy the experience in one day. The Atlantis museum takes over two hours to tour (AWESOME, RIGHT?!) but the wait times were long. We sadly didn't get to see it. Pretty much the rocket garden, and few other exhibits along with one shoe is all we experienced for several hundred dollars. It seemed to be more of a theme park than learning experience. I get you need to raise money for our space program but, everything was additional costs to see. I wouldn't go back even with only seeing a 1/4 of the park (yes park because it does not seem like a center or museum).

One of the best places I have visited so far in Florida. A lot of interesting stuff to do and learn about

Perry Aston

Great place it's definitely an all day thing. The exhibits make you feel like you were there during launches.

Chase Hess

Had a great experience! My only complaint is that there's too much to see in one day. Exhibits were great. The shuttle Atlantis and the takeoff simulator made the trip worth it. Will be going back ASAP

Tomasz Czado

One of the most famous place in USA. When I decided to go to Miami I've knew I have to go visit NASA too. Most of you can find there are just a commercialism and you may like it or not however there are three things that you definitely need to see. First one is a trip around launch pads where you can find SpaceX's launch pad or NASA's launch pad used to sent Saturn 5 and Apollo 11 to the moon and of course Vehicle Assembly Building. Also, second very important thing in this complex is the Atlantis, space shuttle - original exhibit. Third and the last most amazing thing I've seen there was real-size Saturn5 rocket - incredible. My recommendation is to start your visit as early as you can. The later you start the more people will be there. Tickets are not cheap but worth to buy and be there.

I love NASA. Almost more than life itself. But they are a has been now. A tourist theme park where you can't even get to the gift shop without paying full price admission and parking. A commercialized agent of the federal government, serving the pockets of the few instead of the greater good for all of humanity. A huge shame and a tradgedy for which we should all cry. One small fence for a government agency, one huge loss for mankind.

I read other reviews before writing this, and I have no idea how people could make it thru all the exhibits, tours, shows in only 2 hours. It takes a day. Also saw many reviews that it was boring. Many said there was nothing to do while at the same time saying they didn't take any tours. Don't believe any of those reviews. This place is filled with the history of space travel as well as exhibits on the future of space travel. One tour I suggest everyone do is the special behind the scenes historical tour. You get to stand on launch complex 34 where Apollo 1 fire occurred, see all the old equipment used at the time. It is awe inspiring. If you have no interest in America's space history, you should by the time you complete a visit here. Expensive, but worth it. But if you are looking for thrill rides like Disney, well....

Great place to see fun space stuff! There is a rocket garden, space IMAX, gift shops, and a shuttle exhibit. And that's before you get to the Saturn 5 building! There you can see more shows, touch a moon rock, see the rocket and a ton of other space goodies. Amazing place for families and space junkies.

Laurel Kuhn

We loved it here and plan to come back next time we’re in town as we didn’t give ourselves enough time to see it all.

T.J. Cash

Nice place, rich with history. The grounds are beautiful and very clean. If you have any interest in learning or seeing the history of our country's space program this place is a must.

rajagopal bangalore

Excellent place to visit. Exciting place to learn everything about space and space travel. Audio visual presentations agree superb. Kids will be thrilled to operate some exhibits. Very educative.

Marcelo Souza

This place it is A place to go when in Orlando, 1 ½ drive from Orlando. Kennedy Space Center on my experience is one of the best theme park to visit and bring your kids to have a experience of their lives. It is a magnific place to make memories and learn a lot about how NASA play a important role on the Spatial run to Mars and beyond. All technologies they developed and keep developing to bring humanity to explore the unknown space and universe. So when can keep faith in human race to survive any catastrophic event in Earth, if we reach Mars We will have a chance to rethink what we did on Earth by doing that we relearning that we are fragile and destructive simple by a pull of a trigger.

Donald White

It's been turned into a theme park with high ticket prices, but I enjoyed the the authentic displays and information.

Zoe Meadows

We did the dine with an astronaut and the restricted area tour and would highly recommend those as add ons. Make sure to arrive early so you can explore everywhere before it closes.

Doug Stewart

This place has really stepped up their game. The Atlantis exhibit is outstanding, the Saturn V exhibit is absolutely humbling. This place is very educational and does a great job showcasing the great accomplishments that have been made over the years! The Space Shuttle simulator a must.

Daisy Daniels

It was so fun and lots of 4-d experiences! I won't ruin it for you though (there are lots of great/pleasant surprises in their presentations) It is worth the admission , but make sure you eat before you go because their lines can be long in the cafe and a wee bit expensive. Make sure you go here if you go to Daytona or any where near! We spent a better part of the day and only left because we were tired. -Oh yeah and there is an amusement type ride in the Atlantis center where is simulates going into space, also fun!

Ricardo Jimenez

History is in those walls. From simple mans that became heroes to engineers and scientists that made possible the space history this place will show you everything. Also, the President John Fitzgerald Kennedy made the space travel possible. You will find in those walls one incredible history. It worth the detour.

John Tucker

What ab amazing place! Well worth doing the extended tour on the bus. I could not get it all done in a day. Atlantis static display took my breath away!

Craig Ragan

Awesome attraction of history, museums, theatres, interactive centers and bus tour. Better than Epcot. Admission includes a bus tour to pass the VAB, where rockets are assembled. The tour bus continues to the Saturn 5 building. Spectacular shows with the exposure of the Atlantis Shuttle. Very enjoyable eateries available. Additional theatres to visit all for your one price admission. My recommendation is to go at opening, It's a full day of lasting memories! Fully accessible for handicap. Kudos to The Kennedy Space Center.

Martin Jennings

What an amazing place ! So interesting and huge! Spent from 9 until 4 and could’ve stayed longer and didn’t see it all. The tour to the Saturn V complex is highly recommended as is the Atlantis exhibition. The reveal to seeing Atlantis is truest breathtaking and don’t want to spoil it here but I loved it. Even the kids play area fantastic and themed like rockets !

Amanda Kennedy

Total space nerd. Got to see the Apollo exhibit when it first opened, gives you chills. If you have the option they offer lunch with an Astronaut and special tour. Well worth it. It's an all day trip to walk through everything.

Steven Howard

Great place. Clean with great customer service. A must see for the American experience.

Lisa Collins

Fun and educational. Highly recommend the early space tour for an additional $25/pop. Worth it!

Alyssa Ross

I had no idea it is a theme park so I was not prepared for all the walking. It was an interesting place with lots of information about previous space launches with photographic proof and doubles as a museum. Loved the shows and the bus tour. Did not like the line ups and I feel those could be improved.

Caroline Callister

Had the most amazing day here with our 3 kids, 6, 8 and 10. So interesting, loads to see and do.

GREGORY KNIESS

Great scientific evidence of space program in the past and a vision for the future. The earth is a globe shaped planet and not a flat plain as the traumatized flat earthers suggest with no evidence whatsoever to support it.

George Colaluca

Great place very Historical place. Why 4 out of 5 stars. When I was there heavy rain they had suspended the bus tour

Coral Margarida

So cool. Pricey, but cool. We went with our cranky toddler who insisted on not napping, so it was difficult to read and really learn everything I could have from the exhibits, but even so, it was interesting. My one major complaint would be the food..... IT WAS SOOO BAD. Do yourself the favor of eating before you get here and maybe pack some snacks....

Samantha Reed

The venue itself very clean and huge! Wish we would have done a two day pass because we didn't make it through everything in one day. My 4 year old and 9 year old had a lot more fun than the expected, as well as my husband and I. Most (not all!) of the employees just seemed to be doing their job instead of doing something they enjoyed. That's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

Rebecka Ylivallo

We could easily spend at least one more day here! No top food but really good exhibitions and shows. Recommended for all of my friends!

Ash A

The Kennedy Space Center is next level brilliant and one for people of all ages. There is a lot to see and do, and I don't want to ruin any surprises but there is one part in particular that leaves people wide-mouthed and in tears (sometimes!). A must-see if you are in Florida

Ali Sadat

Great place to visit if you are in Florida for any reason. We took the special bus tour, and the guide (who worked with NASA for more than 35 years) was simply very good!

Ryan Docherty

Awesome place to visit. Much preferred kennedy space centre than most of the attractions in Orlando. Can't recommend this place enough.. Go visit!!

Vasily Dmitrievsky

This is a great place to learn about space exploration and technological breakthroughs of human race. It gives a lot of history of space travel but also current research, and future development. This place will take you to the next level of your imagination and understanding of how humans fly into space. Plan on spending the whole day out there. 3-4 hours will not be enough. Parking is $10 per car. Adult ticket is about $57 + tax. Lots of things to buy at gift shops, too.

Rival's Videos

I don't even have words to describe just how cool this place is! The tours are cool, the exhibits are awesome, and I highly suggest you go if you're ever in that area! However, the price is very costly, and the food is adequate. Other than that, I wish I could give more than just five stars!

Michael Bland

Expensive but I had a great time. I probably had more fun than the kids. But very kid oriented. Definitely don't skip the bus tour.

mshiver77

THE best place to visit in Florida. Fun for kids, inspiring for adults. Everyone should go at least once. The anti-Disney (in a good way).

Josh Thomas

If you have any interest in space, this is your place! I recommend the special interest tours. They cost a little extra, but the sights and stops make it worth it.

Christopher Parra

So you can check the creditability of these reviews and that most that are 5 star reviews are "local guides" clearly paid accounts to send positive reviews for businesses. So this place is a waste of time and money. Very little to do that DOESNT require extra money after your initial ticket price. The main attraction which is the shuttle pad takes 2-3hours worth of wait time in line to be able to finally see it and trust me, it's not worth the time and money to see this. This honestly feels like some want to be cheap amusement park that lacks attractions but has overwhelming shops for you to spend your money on. You're better off going to Disney, universal, even Bush gardens. Anything is better for the ticket price it cost to get in here. Its 100% not worth it promise you that.

Elizabeth Singleton

I am a sci fi buff. At age 10, I watched man land on the moon. The presentations and tours were well done, both the nostalgia of the past and excitement of the present and future.

Kathryn Park

We loved this place. Admittedly we are already fans of the space program but the center was so clean and chock full of informative exhibits, it was really impressive. We were in FL for Disney as well but we had a lot of fun here and enjoyed the tour and stayed until closing. Everything was so well presented and the people who worked there were helpful and pleasant. I really hope people will add this on if they can when they visit FL.

Lee Teasdale

Had a day out with the family and fully enjoyed the day. Great to see all the rockets and I must complement our bus driver who took us on our tour for his wealth of knowledge. Something for all ages and were still trying to work how the shuttle simulator worked. Great to be able to take our snacks in with us and we followed the advice to get there for opening time. Hope you have a great day.

Akash Dudhe

The camp at Kennedy Space Center is a great learning experience. The space simulators, historical milestones, memorials and the awesome historical importance of the location are simply irresistible which you can't miss out on. We went on a 3 day camp. It was really great. Loved it! Also we got a chance to meet a real astronaut. Be sure you get a chance to touch the moon rock (the actual one brought from the moon).I must say, it was a once in a lifetime opportunity, and a wonderful experience. You can also visit the launchpads and learn about their importance. All of the Apollo missions info get be received. Also there is a cool gift shop where you can keep really nice souvenirs. I recommend everyone, not only children but people of all age groups. You have to go here at least once in your lifetime.

Christine L

Best place to go see. A whole day is just not enough time to see it all. Do the bus tours. Amazing

Sean Banks

Amazing experience! I have to say it is one of my favorite places to visit when in Orlando. They have added so much to the center including a shuttle on display as if on motion in space. The electric generating tiles that you walk on to make electricity shows how much science and technology exist here. There are also many activities for younger kids to explore, so not just for the older space enthusiast.

Allen Whisler

Worse than "Disneyland" - you get charged to park then you get charged to enter, it starts around $60/adult plus there are many add-ons. When I asked an employee about the prices and what I should do since I only had two hours to explore, she told me the prices were "reasonable compared to Disneyland". That is ridiculous! I never went in the front gate... huge tourist trap

John Kypriotakis

Fun and educational experience. The guided tour, updated exhibits, 3D and - Max movies all contribute to money and time well spent.

Robin Oppido

Great for space history. America's part in the space race, makes Americans proud. Fun for everyone. Lots of interaction too. Go, there's even Moon Pies to eat.

Rafal Markiewicz

We loved it. Its worth every penny. Things and spacecrafts which can be seen only there. Great fun for whole day.

Rebecca Gause Adams

We were expecting a center more like Johnson Space Center or the Air and Space Museum. What we got was more like a theme park. 90% of what is offered in the main visitor complex is something on a screen. This is probably fun for kids, but not fun if you were expecting to see actual space memorabilia. Many of the buildings have staging areas, just like Disney, for example when we wanted to see the Saturn V and the Atlantis, you have to sit through two videos first. It took 30 minutes just to get into the building. And once you were in it, again, 90% of what you saw was on a screen. We finally found a nook that promised moon rocks and prototype space suits...and again, go through the staging area and movie first. The Challenger and Columbia memorials...more movies. The wait lines were punishing. It took more than an hour just to get into the gates, and that was with tickets booked in advance. The campus is sprawling and everything is in separate buildings, so lots of waiting in punishing heat. It is definitely catered to the Disney crowd. We were there for one whole day, and due to all the staging areas, only saw half the complex.

Dan S

Discover Kennedy Space Center! Learn the history of our space programs from early rocket development, to our Apollo moon trips and the Shuttle missions. Visit the Heros and Legends building to learn about the men and women with the right stuff who made it all happen. See the rockets on display in the Rocket Garden. Download the phone app for additional info and maps. We enjoyed a long day here and still didn’t see it all. $$

Chad Cerutti

If I could give 6/5 stars, I would. Great for any lover of space, science, history, or downright awesome rockets! There's plenty to do, more than a single day's worth of fun. Many movies and activities for kids as well. If you're in the area, well worth it to spend a day at.

Andreas Clemenz

We went there with our two small kids, 2 and 4, and it was a cool experience. A lot of things to do for all ages. Pretty impressive to see, like a Saturn V rocket or the last space shuttle, Atlantis, which all can be seen up close. A lot of fun stuff for kids, too.

Jacek Kurek

One of the places which are ‘must see’ if U R in Florida. We liked it, especially bus tour and its end at Apollo space racket. Also Atlantis is superb

Clive Davies

If you have even the slightest interest in space travel then you have to have the Kennedy Space Centre on the list of places to see while you are in Florida. Any age group is catered for. Take the coach trip to the launch pads and the theatre at the very least. Learn about the shuttle. Astounding facts and very interactive presentation screens (huge touch screens). Superb entertainment for a full day.

Kelly

You could definitely spend an entire day here. If you get there at opening so the bus tour first. It’s two hours and the line will be about that long for it by mid day. There was only about a 10 minute wait for Atlantis but that was my favorite and where there was the most to do indoors. There is an outdoor but shaded kids playground. The hall of heros is two 7 minute shows but the second one is 3D and may be intense for young ones. There is a lot of simulators and 3D style videos which are not great for people who get motion sickness. I did not eat but saw two cafes one with outdoor seating and one with indoor. There is also a large store that’s two stories. If there is a chance of rain make sure to bring an umbrella since the buildings are spread out. Also allow plenty of time to get through security. The line is all in the sun and they check bags and strollers well. All adults and children also pass through a metal detector.

M jay Hilano

Love love the place. An enjoyable experience. Drove an hr to get to Cape Canaveral from Orlando. Exhibits are amazing and spent an entire day at the park. Worth the time and money spent. A must visit place.

Melaida Corpuz

We came here in Dec 2016. My son and I had the most enjoyable time here. We even saw some large alligators roaming around the complex. The tour to the launchpads were quite amazing! We met a nice family from UK on this tour and are now friends so it was a memorable experience!

Chris Waalberg

Very impressive and a lot bigger than we expected! You can easily spend two full days here! We only had an afternoon to spend, and it was certainly worth it! The kids loved it!

Chris Cook

Visitor complex is made up of multiple buildings. Not everything is included in the general admission. They had some technical issues when we arrived at the hall of fame, so we had to spend time going back to that building to get the full experience. If you expect to see everything, plan on spending more than one day here. Otherwise, you can be satisfied just choosing things you absolutely must see and plan accordingly. Some shows only run once, so if you are on the ~2 hour bus tour, you may miss things. Our children had a great time and the adults thought it was overall okay. It's a little expensive for what you get and seemed less science and more theme park stylish. Some of the video parts were repetitive as we moved through the park. We came during the week so there was little to no wait for everything. I could see being dissatisfied if the place was packed as you wouldn't be able to do as much.

Cherizard Thierry

The Kennedy Space Center is a great place to visit in Titusville near Orlando. The bus tour lets you see the place and the launching pad for the rockets. This is a great place to understand and appreciate the American space conquest and the advancement in research and business partneships in the space industry. Was with my wife and the kids, we all loved it.

Josh Dickison

Very fairly priced, with great exhibits for anyone interested in the past, present, and future of space travel. The Apollo exhibit features an actual Saturn V rocket which is breathtaking, and the Atlantis exhibit is beyond words.

Fiona O'Neill

Fantastic, as an Apollo program fan this was a fantastic place to visit. Received an annual pass as a birthday present and was able to visit on four occasions during my ten day trip to Florida. Saw and heard facts and stories that I had not heard before. Was able to put context and texture to things I had only read about previously.

Vadim Olari

A place where you need to go at least once in you life. It is something you wont see anywhere else. The excursion was very nice and informative however they wont stop for you go get out and take pictures all the pictures you can take is from a moving bus that's it, sad but I can understand why... anyway it was a very good trip. Inside the park you'll have quite a few places to visit and enjoy some space movies and play a bit of astronaut missions which is nice, kids will love it.

Ian Morgan

Loved the visit. Loads to do and see. Interesting on all the history and what's happening now. Quite a few shows which are good but one cinema trip after another becomes tedious. Prices are reasonable. Parking is good and cheap.

Marci P

The seafood is so fresh! The service and the view/ atmosphere is perfect. I could've sat in my seat and stayed for months.

P Oneliv

Easily accessible from the Main Thoughofare and not far from I-95. Plenty of Pay parking including for Handicap accessible Vehicles (Lot 2) Great NASA facility, updates have made the facility number one in my opinion. With paid admission, movies, simulators, lockers, phone chargers are all included in the price. Food prices as expected was a bit steep. Multiple stores have just about anything you could want NASA related.

Frank Buckwalter

Took two of my great grandsons. It was great. They enjoyed the visit and so did I.

Luiza Calandra Jugdar

One of THE most amazing places in Florida. The food options are not great, but in exchange you get to see an actual Saturn V plus so many other rockets. Definitely a must go! For a future visit I would take a coat and some snacks! :)

Prashant Nagda

It’s a great place to visit for space enthusiasts. Very informative. You can plan your visit by checking their launch schedule to witness the live launch of spacecraft.

Ruben van Vliet

This place gives you the best insight in American Space Travel. There's a lot of history present and the crew members are always able to answer your questions about anything, whether that's landing on the Moon or the surface of Mars or anything else. If you decide to take the buss tour, which I highly recommend, make sure you sit on the right side (looking from the back). This will ensure good visibility of all the big NASA buildings and perfect photo ops, except for the SpaceX facility. Also, the food here is pretty good. Overall enjoyed every little bit of the park!

William Carver

I moved to Florida in May of 2013 for college, from the Midwest. Sure, my hometown was great in its own way, but lacked any sort of excitement, so moving to Orlando was pretty high on the list. In my first few weeks in Orlando, I was walking out of the grocery store, pushing a cart to my car, when I happened to look out of my peripheral and saw something I had never seen before. I know now that I was looking due West, and saw a bright light, moving up into the sky, with a smoke trail below it. Here I was, poor Midwesterner, standing in the middle of the parking lot, chin on top of my shoes, awestruck without knowing what I was looking at. Obviously this is not something new to Florida, but definitely new to someone new to Florida. Another store patron walking through the lot definitely saw me gazing in the distance, leaned over and said, "They must've had a rocket launch tonight,". I had no idea that 50 miles East of where I was standing, I could see a rocket up close and personal. I was 23 when this happened. At that exact moment, I felt every bit of childhood imagination rush back to my body, and excitement came over me. The next weekend, I drove out to Kennedy. I was a broke college kid, so I couldn't go inside, but I had to see this place. As I'm driving over the NASA Causeway, I can see the big orangish-red fuel tank of Space Shuttle Atlantis in the distance. I had goosebumps. When I finally could visit the complex, I couldn't stop smiling, and who better to accompany me than my dad. The guy who gave me the world and then some, the guy who witnessed Apollo 11 in black and white glory, standing underneath a Saturn V rocket with me. Have you ever had that overwhelming goosebumps feeling, with the overwhelming feeling of wanting to cry but not knowing why? Picture this, you're on the free bus tour, sitting amidst children and octogenarians alike, driving through the main gates to the complex, taking a left turn, and seeing the VAB, a building you have grown accustomed to seeing, growing closer ahead. You drive up next to it on a day that the shutters are open, giving a glimpse inside the tallest single-story building in the United States. This is the most underrated attraction in Orlando, but the absolute best value in more ways than one. Don't skip on this one to go to another Orlando attraction. This is one that your kids and you alike will enjoy and remember for years to come.

Robert Rastelli

This was way better than I remember as a kid. I was here back in 1986 and remember wanting to leave as soon as we arrived. This time through they have some great exhibits, and the Atlantis area was amazing. The kids loved it too.

Christian Donaldson

Arrived with great excitement to explore and learn, but due to weather, a launch had been rescheduled for the same day. As a consequence, the shuttle bus out to the main HQ was cancelled from around 1pm for all subsequent visitors due to high volumes of people. Staff were good at consoling visitors and informed them that they could receive a refund from Guest Services (as they would be missing out on the main event; comparatively, there isn't much to do at the entrance area besides a shop, some cafés and a few minor attractions). We waited in the queue for over an hour, where the staff on duty appeared not to be aware of the situation over the first 20 minutes. We waited a further 20 minutes for a manager to attend and give permission for staff to start giving refunds, however, all the while, visitors were still buying tickets and entering the complex in masses completely unaware that the shuttle bus had been cancelled. It was quite the shambles and I'm very disappointed; I do understand that there was nothing else that could be done regarding numbers (first come first served), but the situation was managed rather poorly (lack of announcements etc.). I do hope to return in the future to enjoy the full experience.

Daniel Rabinovich

Watching a rocket launch was one of the most incredible experiences in my life, a moment of fullness when you think about the greatness of the event, it is one of the biggest human engineering works. This is something to do at least once in a lifetime.

Mark Wagner

Great plays to learn about the space agency past and present. also love that they have free Tesla charging stations this is a big plus for those of us who want to be in electric vehicles. Would highly recommend this to any person or families with an interest in space travel.

Becca Kershaw

It was great! Getting to learn about the past, but mostly the future of space travel and traveling to Mars. We skipped the bus tour to the off-limits area, it was going to take 3 hours... But the IMAX movies, and the shuttle take off experience were very cool. Lots of fun things for kids to do. We definitely enjoyed ourselves

F K

Absolutely stunning! All family loved it! There is something for everybody. Atlantis forever)

Richard McMurry

Overpriced for what is in the park. It’s mostly shops and restaurants, with some theaters playing some cheesy video of the hour. The Shuttle was cool but not worth the money

Sam Wakim

One of the hidden jewels an hour away from Orlando, the Kennedy Space Center is jam packed with history, science and technology in a family friendly way. This place is so inspirational, your visit may help spur your little one to become an astronaut someday! The Atlantis Shuttle exhibit alone is worth the visit. Inside the exhibit is the space shuttle itself, hanging from the ceiling with its bay doors open. It is so awe inspiring, for a few of us, you may feel as if something is stuck in your eye.

james Maffetone

This place is awesome. Went early morning on a Wednesday and there is hardly any people here. No waiting on long lines, no people cutting lines. A lot to see.

Travel Mania

This place was very informative and interesting ...So much educational ..I liked most.. If you interested to know astronaut’s life, what is space shuttle all were there.. If you lucky enough to see the racket launching..we easily spent the whole day .. kids enjoyed this place Their prices were much more reasonable than the Disney theme parks and Universal studios ... Free parking ..Definitely value for money...

pradeep kumar

A must visit for kids and grownups. lots of good info which we don't usually get to know anymore. Liked the shows, especially about the story behind Space Shuttles and future expeditions planned for Mars. The shuttle launch experience ride was super cool as well as the opportunity to actually touch a moon rock, how many of us get the opportunity to touch something that was part of the moon?

Camila Quezada Viancos

Loved Atlantis and Apollo pavillions. Expected a little more from the others. For our 5 year old it was fun enough but probably kids of +8 would enjoy it better

Jon Waskan

Underwhelmed by visitor complex. Didn't do any tours. Maybe those are better, but the complex itself is weak. Huntsville has a much better complex. Don't waste your money. And certainly don't go here to see a launch unless you have paid for launch viewing tickets. There is NO VIEW from the visitor's complex. Weak.

Simon Wain

The most incredible place to visit in FL. Would 100% recommend a visit over visiting Universal.

Jordan Haider

Could have spent a few days here. Bus tour was awesome. Learned so much.

Cindy Altenberger

Awesome place to see. Nice comfortable bus tour. Great experience and tours.

Maria Martin

Amazing. I was blown away by the rocket launch we were lucky enough to witness. The interactive displaces were great for learning. Friendly bus drivers.

Kimberly Hobin

Brevard residents get a huge discount in October. Check their FB posts for details. We've gone a couple times and it's well worth it. To see everything it'll take at least 2 days especially if you want to see it all at your leisure. My favorite is the Space Shuttle. Be prepared to walk a lot but many things are seated. Well worth the money.

Mike Creech

Of all the places we visited in Florida, this was hands down the cherry on top for me. Seeing Atlantis in person was unbelievable. The bus tour was great, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The shuttle launch experience was great. We picked up several souvenirs while there. If you haven't been there, make sure you so.

Quint Que

This was one of the greatest trips I have ever taken. People there are very nice and knowledgeable of the history.

Steve Moss

At first I was a little bit underwhelmed. Seeing the rockets and equipment used in space was interesting, but I thought that was all there was to the visit. It really started getting good for me when we went on the bus tour to the launch pads and then on to the Saturn V display. That alone made the trip worth it. In a word, INCREDIBLE! We finished the tour off with the Atlantis exhibit, which was phenomenal, to say the least. Would love to go back again someday. Maybe they will add some SpaceX things as well.

I used to work for a rocket company and Cape Canaveral became my dream trip. I just wanted to see how started our journey to the Moon and share it with my family. My reservation for 4 adults, after taxes and fees, was $326.99. After a 300 miles trip from Miami, storm included, we arrived with a few minutes to spare but we couldn't reach the bus in time. We were so mad that we didn't stay and returned to Miami. The next day I called to get a refund and I was promised to receive it after a two or three weeks delay. It never happened. I know that the current NASA bureaucracy is some kind of legend, but now I discovered that the company making money from the history of NASA is similar. If you are not completely sure that you can arrive very early for your tour, don't go or pay for it at the gates. You could be scammed like me!

Sahil Kaneria

Great place to visit. This is the very place from which very important discovery in aerospace have come from. It's worth exploring. My only complaint is that the wait for the shuttles can be long, and visitors have to stand in the heat. Maybe consider building an indoor waiting area or more transportation services internally...

Robbie Rob

If you take the time to learn and really grasp what they have done here, it really is phenomenal. It's a place that after a few days leaves you thinking about how amazing it is. As an adult, you can almost be a kid again with all the wonder and thrill that the place had to offer. Allow your mind to be blown by what has been accomplished and is still to come.

Jeremiah Johnson

An excellent experience. If you are even remotely interested in space and it's exploration this is a wonderful place to go.

Donald Walker

Life long dreams fulfilled by visiting here. It really, really does 2 days minimum and personally I could have spent even longer here. Top tip: definitely sit on the RHS of the bus on the standard bus tour if you want to view things...

Mike Pulaski

Complete nerdgasm during my visit. Only did the standard tour and I was totally impressed with what I saw. Was neat to be up close to all that history and see what these pioneers did with less computing power than a toaster. Bus ride was easy to do for the tours and the attractions were not cheesey in any way. Very impressive.

Rencel Pedott Jager

Not many things to do, but very interesting things to see. I definitely recommend the Early Space tour if are keen on seeing places where space race history was made.

sven v hout

A unique place, a must visit when you go to Florida! The tour is very educating for young and old.

Theresa Vitale

I can’t believe I’ve lived in Florida for almost four years and hadn’t known how good of an experience Kennedy Space Center is. I literally have told everyone I can how good the experience was and will be going back again this month. I never knew space could be so interesting. Highly HIGHLY recommend that you carve out time to go here on your visit to FL. Not too far at all from Orlando airport

Margee Moore

Must see! Our space history and proud American-achievements of the space race are all here. The displays are educational and very well done. They keep you moving with so much to see. Bus tours at the beginning give you a good perspective of all there is to see. Plus, the Space X stuff is exciting.

Sören Skupien

We spend 8 hours there and haven't completed all attractions. This is the most amazing and inspiring place I have ever been. A great place for young and old. Playground, museums & Cinemas. So much to see. Where can I apply to work for NASA?

Hank Grossman

The wife took me here for my birthday this place was awesome highly highly recommend go here very educational very professional very clean just a great time highly recommend

Darian Wickstead

Visited this in August 2018. Although expensive, if you’re into space, this was extremely cool. I enjoyed the large building where the rockets were built, waking on the ramp that lead Neil Armstrong to the Apollo 11 shuttle, seeing the different sites where famous rockets were launched, seeing an actual space shuttle (massive), touching a moon rock, and seeing the full rocket at the end (pictures included). Going here was a dream of mine, and seeing it fulfilled that dream.

Mark Severson

Very cool. Went when I was very young and it wasn't as interesting to me then. The bus tour takes you by the SpaceX building and the crawler which dwarfs any vehicle I've ever seen. The fabrication building was quite impressive as well. One of my absolute favorite things about this attraction is that most exhibits are inside an air-conditioned building. Didn't wait in a single line outside which was awesome. Really cool place. Would love to see a launch from here

Ben Parham

Very disappointed that I was told I would have to pay admission just to go into gift shop to buy a souvenir. No time for full activities. I was willing to pay to get into parking lot but not to pay admission to have the privilege of spending my money in their gift shop. I’ll just order online. I cannot speak to quality of exhibits, they are probably good.

Ryan kennedy

Too much to see and do in one day. I definitely suggest lunch with an astronaut. It is a beautifully catered lunch and the opportunity to talk with and hear from someone who has been in space. Super cool

Darryl Barnes

Tons to do here, and all of it educational. Our group took things nice and slow and made a day out of our visit. It was well worth it.

Peter Kelley

Space nut or not this is an incredible experience. Seeing an actual Apollo rocket as well as an entire space shuttle is something that is not available anywhere else on earth. This is a world class attraction.

YourLandAndCruiseExperts Travel

Such a cool place to visit!! Tons of actual equipment used in space is on display. Plenty of movies/videos to help visitors understand the space program. Lots of cute photo ops. The launch simulator ride/experience is not to be missed! Great for kids and adults! Gift shop is filled with cute "give me some space" souvenirs.

Melissa White

Hours of entertainment and many hands on stations to explore. Kids and adults had a great time. Food service was priced well, gluten free options are available and food taste fresh and flavorful.

Nate D

Very cool place, awesome to see the rockets close up. The new hall of fame is a great addition and I really enjoyed seeing all of the memorabilia. With that said, I think the ticket prices are rather expensive as it’s a small visitor center and we accomplished everything in about 2 hours. Also it’s all concrete and gets very hot in the summer! I give 3 stars based on value for your money.

John Walton

Great day out. The coach trip to the Saturn V Center is informative and interesting, although on our day they couldn’t take us to the launch pad. The shuttle launch simulator is good, but could be more educational, perhaps the queue could be modified to have more information to read, as on my visit there was a 45 minute wait to board.

Benny Evans

Awesome experience at Kennedy Space Center, and Cape Canaveral launch pads. The bus tour alone was worth the price if admission. Go early(9:00am) a plan to stay a few hours. So much to do and see. Then take the (free) tour bus out to the restricted to the public launch pads. See where all of the Space Shuttles were launched. Definitely worth the $60 admission for all you get. We will be going again.

Jessica Marie Allen

Such a great family friendly place. There’s so much to see here. If you love science or even if you don’t it’s a great adventure. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I suggest maybe picking a day when it’s not so busy to come so you can enjoy it more but otherwise it’s a definite must see in Orlando

N.M. Thompson

Totally worth the visit. The rich tradition of USA space programs come to life here. The Atlantis exhibit is awesome. Lots to do for young and old alike. The explorer bus tour is worth the extra $25 to get up close to 39A and 39B. Informative guide to fill you in on past, present, and future about the area.

Peter Andrew Cummings

Plenty to do. Plan on spending the day. Check it out out online and make a time plan if you can. They actually have guest services, too, that will help plan the day. The shuttle display is awesome. The bus tour to the launch pad is fantastic. That took us 3 hours because it includes a large Apollo display museum. The whole place is a great experience

Rugged Joe

Sure worth visiting! I was in awe having to see space shuttle Atlantis and other space rockets! Brought back a lot of my history classes and better yet it all came to life specially with the shows and movies! Simply amazing place to be. The bus tour is also fantastic! Highly recommended!

g Gandhi

I loved it because I like new inventions and technology. Space program is nothing, but invention of new technology and it teaches us to dream big. If you never try due to fear of failure, you will never successed.

Braeden Audlin

The Kennedy Space Center thought me a lot about space along with some demonstrations and simulators. Not only that but you could be here for hours and still have fun. They have actual rockets like the Atlantis and if you do the bus tour they take you to the Space X/NASA base and you can look around on the outside.

S. Mark Tenen

What can you say except that a few hours here where all the magic happens is pretty special. The shuttle Atlantis exhibit is stunning. Don't miss it.

Michael

There's a lack of direction; there's a lack of parking attendants & there was nobody around to help with information; good luck trying to get around in here even with a map. I understand there's some secrecy with some of the operations but I think there were other opportunities to let people get in and around the buildings and actually see and maybe feel and look at astronaut outfits and spaceships. the Atlantis museum was fantastic that was done very well.

Jason DeRosa

Nothing free to see. You have to pay to park even if you just want to see visitor center. Just FYI. for those large families that were looking for a free attraction

Michael Burt

Absolutely great day out. It was on our must do in Florida list and we were not disappointed.

Mark Strudwick

Splendid experience. Bought the multi day passes for the family and they were great value for the experiences we had. Educational, fun, exciting and inspirational in equal measure. We were lucky enough to meet astronaut Jerry Ross and he was so accommodating and friendly. Easily spend two days here to see everything and give it appropriate attention. Clean, well managed and highly recommended.

Tara B

A lot has changed since I went in elementary... but it is amazing! I went for my kids' homeschooling group. They had a cool project to make.

Paula Panikowski-Preset

We went here years ago. I do love everything space and the unknown but it was just too expensive. That is with being a Florida resident. No matter what I feel this is a place that everyone should try at least once. They are always updating the information and adding new things. We had to go online to get a coupon and even then it was very expensive. In the end, it was really neat because we were able to meet an astronaut. I know some of the fun things are for the kids but adults can have fun there as well. I would say fork out the money and head over to this Space Coast Treasure.

Jason Danweber

While the attractions are great, going to the apollo building with the buses was atrocious. First they have you go through a several row waiting line of approximately 500 people, then once you feel you are at the end of waiting, you are let past an employee and have to stop for a picture pose (which you can buy later) and end up in a four row line which is originally hidden when you wait in line in the first section. Each line in the second waiting area was 200 feet long (so 800 feet in the second waiting line). there was easily one or two thousand people in this second lined section. Buses were not even coming that frequent. At times I measured ten minutes with no buses. We waited an hour for what is completely unnecessary and on what was an off day no less. After the bus trip and standing an hour, you are forced to go in to a movie room and are required to stand yet again to watch a movie and then are required to enter the flight command simulator. Since we saw that before we were tired of the cattle herding and went directly to the exit doors, most of which were locked until a kind attendant told us which one to use, to gain access to the main building since so much time had been wasted. Poor management or they just don't care, probably the latter.

Sharleen Schlotman

All exhibits have been modernized for an exceptional experience for all ages. Top notch! Need two days to see everything!

arnie1822

Wish we had been there during launch. Other than that we felt Houston was better. The bus tour was good to know more about launch facilities but Houston tours shows more places and where real time projects happen. Also the ISS model in Houston is better. This place overall is good for visiting is you like to see more of Launch and Rocket related activities. Good visit overall.

Eric Diamond

Enjoyed going to the Kennedy Space Center. Visitor center has different activity displays set up. Most of the displays have a presentation. Bus tour was interesting. Learned that the Space Center has a bald eagle that nests there.

Martin M

What an interesting place! My favourite part was the bus ride around the landing pads and the huge NASA building! Can’t believe I visited such a famous and interesting place. Thanks!

Kurien Samuel

A must visit place for baby boomers and next gens (from Mercury, Apollo, Space Shuttle to private ventures - its all here). Great experience for a one day visit.

Sylvia Meade

We loved this place because there were so many things to look at and learn about. I thought I knew everything there was to know about space travel, well it turns out I knew hardly anything. There was so much that I didn’t know, that I will have to go back many more times to keep myself up to date and knowledgeable on this subject. I look forward to my next visit to Kennedy Space Station, where things are presented in factual and FUN ways. Didn’t even get into the IMEX theatre but next time I will.

Adam Hughes

I have slightly mixed feelings about KSC... PROS: The tour guides and staff we interacted with were outstanding. The facility and all of the content, rides, history, were amazing! Parking and access to the park was great, easy in, easy out. Do yourself a favor and ride the Shuttle Launch Experience ride. It was great. CONS: Price. Sweet Jesus, this place is expensive! The other thing we HATED was how they usher you in to each exhibit and more/less trap you in a room and force you to watch a 15 minute video over the exhibit. I'm sure we could have gotten up and left and gone straight to the exhibit, but they clearly don't want you to do that. I felt like it was some weird form of crowd control. We found it annoying. Overall, it's Kennedy Space Center! The amount of history there is insane. I think my entire family had much more fun than we'd anticipated. It's worth seeing for sure, but bring your wallet and prepare to sit in lines and wait for everything.

Kristi Tarwater

Awesome place to visit. Spent entire day here, would have loved to had another day here. Absolute favorite part was meeting Astronaut John Blaha. He gave a man to man speech to my 14 year old about life. Awesome!

Humberto Baptista

A must visit for anyone mildly aware of human space flight. Great spot to learn about the US space program and get a glimpse of what’s to come. In selected days you can also watch rocket launches. Check out the bus tours taking you inside the actual compound. Three stars.

Apostle Loretta Williams

There was a lot of good information most of it what's in the theaters however the lines were too long even on a Monday. I did feel that the Movie presentations especially on the Legends of Heroes was too long for small children in elementary school. I think they should have more interactive displays. It was very expensive for families to attend to learn about NASA.

Amy Williams

This was a full day of space stuff. This is a must do activity if you are in or around this area. Take the bus tour first and sit on the right side of the bus (which is the passenger side in a car

Pete Schnabel

Fantastic experience. Been meaning to come for years. Take the bus tour!

Joel Wisenburg

The rocket garden is amazing and getting to walk through the orbiter Atlantis. Well worth the price of admission if you have a love for space. Getting to watch a rocket launch from here is an amazing experience.

cheryl clark

Absolutely amazing! Lots more added since the last time I was there. Sometimes moved to tears. Cafe good, great facilities.

Kyler Wurzer

I rate observatory’s based off manly experience but with other factors included. Based off my experience at the Kennedy Space Center I’m rating it a 4 star. Great place if you are indeed a space fan. If not I recommend staying away. Place is intended for upcoming space lovers and current space lovers. Non-space lovers stay away. All the things to look at and the 3D movies make Kennedy Space Center a wonderful place to visit. Al though I recommend not eating/drinking here. Prices of the concessions are rather high. Hot dogs are around $10.74 Medium size Gatorade bottles are selling at $3.74. Little Caesars deep dish slices around $6. Just generally stay away from the concessions. Overall it’s a wonderful place to visit! Young space lovers friendly!

Gary Hassay

It was really cool! We only were able to spend a few hours there but we could have spent a whole day there. The ticket prices were high, so don't go unless you're going to be there for a while.

Angel Thompson

Had an amazing time ! My grandson said it was the best day ever , we are going back to do training simulation to Mars next time

Ben Yuksel

Not as good as expectations. Not much to do if I am honest. Follow the crowd round the whole crowd and read information on the past. The "launch expereince" was honestly out dated. Much better to just go on a roller coaster at universal. Everything here is over priced and dull. We watched the 4D planet film thing and I honestly fell asleep. And when I woke the film was still playing like with all due respect this was super boring. I would not recommend this to kids at all. Only propa keen people over space would find this remotely interesting.

G W

A really great place to visit when on the east coast of Florida. I've actually seen the space shuttle be launched from here and it's too impressive to put in words so quickly. A great place to stretch your legs and numerous photographic opportunities from the outside to the inside museum area. definitely take a tour of a Launchpad it's amazing how big they are. The entire tour was extremely educationally informative. Highly recommend!

Margaret Balbay

Was there for Apollo 50th anniversary liftoff. Excellent! Displays were wonderful. Only thing that needed improvement was covering for bandstand as it was extremely hot and hard for seniors. Just a suggestion to provide shade in the future at bleachers.

Ingo N.

First time for us to visit the space center. It is really cool. A lot of information about space related stuff. Do not forget to go on the bus ride to drive up closer to the actual rocket launch platforms and the Saturn 5 visitor center which is really impressive!

Seyoum Michael

Such a fantastic experience for my family. My children are 14,12, and 7 year old twins. We dined with a astronaut. The astronaut was Dr. Anna Fisher. I think the experience was life changing for my children. Also the buffet was utterly amazing. That was worth the price of admission alone. The displays and attractions were very interactive, entertaining and dare I say educational. I wouldn't consider my kids STEM focused ( nerdy ) but they were fully entertained and inspired. Also most importantly, most of the things to do are inside and air conditioned. In contrast we left Disney World exhausted, hot, miserable and broke. It's funny, when we left Kennedy everybody leaving was smiling and happy. In contrast, when we were leaving Disney it looked like a refugee migration crisis scene. I'm usually a pretty senical, take things with a grain of salt kind of a guy, but it's hard to not get inspired by this place.

James

Visit here in the 90s and early 2000s and they have changed the place a lot. Prices are high compared to last time so be prepared for that. Make sure you get here early in the morning or on a day when it is not to hot out. There is metal detectors and security line you will have to go through. Overall it is still a great place to stop even with other companies taking the lead in space tech.

Mukul Singh

The most amazing experience. Do try and take the bus tour which takes one to various points across the Centre in a drive through. Atlantis and Saturn 5 were breathtaking!

Christopher Doyle

If you're in Florida you absolutely must make at least a day available for visiting the Kennedy Space Centre. It may sound like "organised fun" but it pays to plan ahead. Take the bus tour as early as possible. There's a free bus tour with a video guide, but we paid for the KSC Explore bus tour which has a live tour guide (ours was a retired NASA engineer whose claim to fame was being the guy who did the countdowns). The Explore tour also includes three stops. One is at a quite remote set of bleacher seats used for launch viewing, the next at the launch complex 39 viewing gantry and the last one at an observation camera site close to the launch pads. They're about as "up close and personal" as the operation of the space center allows. Everything about the Visitor Complex is well staged and well curated. It may feel like it's managed more like a theme park but there is something for everyone.

James Hunter

I was a little disappointed. Between the failure of all the self-service ticket machines and the 60 minute wait for the tour bus, it seemed woefully understaffed. Additionally, they seem to have moved to a multi-media model as opposed to having substantive displays of actual stuff that dates from the periods that the space center is celebrating.

Shayesteh G

It was a breath taking experience. I really enjoyed my visit. If you are planing to visit make sure to stay hydrated and wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Don't forget your hat and sunscreen

Donald Peck

One needs to set aside at least one full day to take in all the history being presented. Plenty of hands on education for the entire family.
