You may have noticed that it reaches an feddbacks average is almost the best one, and it is based on a very high number of opinions, so we can say that the assessment is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to leave their review when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to set feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Museum belongs to the category of Children\'s museum.
Glazer Museum Classroom. Girls from the Blueprint4girls STEM Mentorship program are attending the STEMXPOSURE Architectural Design Camp. The space is fitting for the class. Would love to see more art in the space. Completely disconnected from the museum. No access to the museum from that classroom.
Nice fun place for kids but still limited activities. More activities are needed. Costly compared to available activities
My daughter had a blast here! Very well kept place with so much to do!
My daughter love this place there is plenty for kids to do!
This is easily the coolest place I've ever taken my kids. It beats the aquariums, zoos, and any indoor play area we've been to. Their are so many place for you kids to explore and use their imagination. It's seriously the best! It's so clean and nothing is broken or old and run down from years of use. We recently moved from Tampa and my kids miss this museum.
Great place. Son loved playing and learning. Can do it all in an afternoon.
Our children ran out of time. There were so many activities for them! They had a blast. Great job. Highly recommend. Thanks
Such a great place for children! From the moment they walk in they're captivated by the activities. The staff is professional and does an amazing job of keeping the museum clean and safe, which says a lot considering there were no less than 300 kids there during our visit. There is a parking garage which feeds almost directly into the museum, and a Subway restaurant inside the museum. All ages will have fun, but the exhibits are smaller sized and centered on creative play and crafts, probably best suited for 10 and under. It's an all day ticket, and you can easily spend several hours there.
There are so many great interactive exhibits for kids to play with. Our 5 year old had a blast! Her favorites were the doctor's office and the fire station. You will definitely get your money's worth here - we spent about 3.5 hours and didn't even get to see all of the exhibits. You will get a wristband that allows you to come and go for the entire day. I highly recommend taking a break for lunch and visiting one of the nearby local restaurants as the only food option inside the museum is a Subway.
My 6 yr Old was in heaven but my 10 yr Old was not interested. The climbing fixture only held her attention. Everything else was really for younger children. Definitely a fun rainy day experience and easy parking right across the street in the lot. Download the parking app because I had an issue with the meter.
This is a great place for kids to spend a few hours of the day. We had to drag our boys out of here both times we visited. There are countless things to keep them busy. My oldest liked the harbor exhibit the best as he played with the fish and cranes for almost an hour straight. The upstairs was cool with a grocery store and fire station, among many other interesting things to play on. The waterfront is close by and you could literally spend a day down in this area and have plenty to do. Next time we would like to take the water taxi. Anyways, young kids will love the children's museum and the kids show blippi did an episode here if you're interested
We went here with free library tickets. Stayed for 3 hours with my daughter. Easily could have stayed for more there's so much to do. My daughter had a blast. Her favorite sports was the sand box with the projector with sea life.
This place has to be the goto spot for everyone like me. I have a 3 year old with no siblings and no family around and its great to have a place where she can go to enjoy other kids and enjoy there imaginations. Definetly helps with keeping the house clean for a day.lol. I hope this place just keeps getting better!! We as parents need more places like this!! Absolutley one of the most enjoyable times I have had in a while to see little kids interact as they pretend shop and play in the water and sand with no worries.Five stars to you Glazer museum!
Nice museum for kids age 4 and older. Not toddler friendly. Only one small area for kids 3 and younger, where there were actually older kids running around. Tons of summer camp kids with not much adult supervision. Felt and looked dirty. Will not be going back.
I went in a Tuesday.. when it was free to get in and.. holy moly.. it was packed but still . My 5 year old granddaughter still had a blast... There really is quite a bit of thinks for the children to do..
I do NOT think this was worth the price for younger children (under 5). Many of the displays were intellectually interactive (requiring reading and knowledge of things my children don't grasp) and my 2 & 4 year old struggled to connect with those things. I wish the museum had two areas, one more geared for 1-5 and another area geared for 5-12. Also many of the play areas contained toys we have at home and what we didn't have at home was worn out or destroyed. It was also INCREDIBLY loud in the museum, not just the sound of children playing but exhibits that seemed to be creating excessive and unnecessary sounds. Most of the staff seemed great and my children did enjoy the rubber sand area not wanting to leave which is why I didn't give this a 1 star review
Thought it was a great experience with my nieces. They are 3&4 years old and loved it. Lots to do within the space. A lot of different activities and zones. It seemed clean, safe and organized.
My first experience with it is on free admission for kids every first Tuesday of months. I couldn't say enough to avoid this day. It packed up with kids so that no kid can actually play completely on an exhibit. You would surely waste your time and on top of that is waste parking fee. I'd definitely try to stay away from the day.
Great place to spend time with your kids. They burn themselves out here. There are so many things to do and so much to see. We come about 2 times a month.
Kids always love this place. We have the annual pass and its so worth it
Only stayed in the studio since we were here for the development screening. The lobby/bathrooms were very clean. Minus 2 stars for the not so pleasant front desk staff and price. Please consider having a consistent free admission day within the week.
We had a blast. We could have spend the entire day. It has so many things to see and play. It is also very educational. Everything its clean and in good condition. The kids loved it !!!
Took my grandson here... absolutely love it! It's worth the price of admission, and so much fun for a 5yr old boy! I'll definitely return!
The Glazer Museum has many pros and cons. The interactive spaces were wonderful including a grocery store, pizza parlor, global cafe, hospital, art and dance center, and climbing areas. What concerned me the most was the lack of cleanliness. The outside was dirty with lots of gum sticking to sidewalks. The eating area was very dirty. The museum ran out of maps at 1:30 in the afternoon. This place has a wonderful concept. It needs some TLC
Lots of fun stuff for kids to play with here. They really like the water exhibit where you can make it rain and float boats around. There's a fun climbing apparatus and a little kid's grocery store where they can check out groceries (and the staff hopes the kids then restock the shelves to help them out). Lots of other things to keep your kids busy for a good 2-3 hours. Clean restrooms!
Great place great people. James is the man!!
The kids love it. Lots of cool exhibits to play on.
My son had a blast here. A lot of activities, enough to keep my 3 year old entertained.
Had a blast with the kiddos for a birthday party! So many different activities for them to do, even for toddlers. I had fun myself too. Will definitely bring my daughter back.
This place has a lot to children the they I took my kids was full and they enjoyed all the sections they have even my husband and I play in the LEGO area. Is very innovative with the mini publix market and the farm places as very interesting
It'agood place to spend your time when it's raining or very hot outside. Lots of little thinvs for a kid to do inside. If they want to improve, they should take a trip to Orlando and go through the GCM there. It is top notch.
Today they had a celebration of the 50th year of the Apollo landing on the Moon. So they added some special events that were wonderful. I enjoyed the Museum as much as the children. This is education and learning packaged so well that the learning seems much more like playing. If you have not taken the children in your life, it's definitely a must go to. I'm certain that you will be happy you did. They offer Children's Birthday parties as well. Enough things to see and do to spend the entire afternoon. The activities are interactive.
This was our first time at the children's museum and it did not disappoint. It kept a 2 year old and an 8 year old entertained for 3 hours. A couple of items were broken but in general it was well maintained. Lots of fun and varied activities and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. Will certainly be back when we visit Tampa again.
We absolutely love this place. My Family has been going for years and we love it every time. The exhibits are always being updated. It’s always clean and pleasant. Character visits are always a nice treat for the kiddos. Love the new sunshine Sundays. It’s a perfect place for kids to play, learn, and explore
It was a lot of fun. My 18 month old loved it. She isn't quite old enough for some of the exhibits. But she still had a lot of fun. She loved the farm and cultural areas.
My nephews had a blast! They are 18 most and 4 yrs and there was something for them both. Very interesting place!
An interesting experience, I was there attending a Maker fairerather than with children but it was still very interesting to see all the things kids will be able to do there. Lots of interaction and nothing like a regular museum that I've ever been to. Lots of Hands-Onexhibits good floor plan and great accessibility from the parking structure next door.
We visited GCM during our vacation in Tampa. It is wonderful! We have five year old twins who both loved every exhibit. There is a wide range of activities and displays - lots to climb through, get your hands dirty and just general play. And the pricing was incredibly fair compared to some other children’s museums we’ve been to in other cities. Highly recommend this as a stop for young
The worst children's museum I've seen in the US. First the price is ridiculous for what they offer. Almost nothing worked, and the place was quite disorganized, when I went with my family. I went through the reception when I left and I let them know my opinion about this and they did not care, they did not even know how to give me an explanation. The service very poor. It was not a good experience.
We stopped in before catching a flight out of Tampa. They almost didn’t honor the reciprocal children’s museum network discount because our local children’s museum didn’t have legit enough looking cards (we’re from a small town). The kids had fun! There were some areas that were a little dirty, but because they’re so well loved. My son especially enjoyed the paper airplanes launch and the fire pole!
My opinion- great for kids 2-6. Kids any older seem to be bored quickly if they aren’t with a younger sibling. Things the museum needs to improve. I understand this place is a play zone and kids are gonna play/destroy but there are things you (as a museum need to work on). Greet your guest with a small set of instructions or guidelines (for parents). Please ask parents to supervise their kids, have kids put back items they play with, keep items in appropriate sections. For example, the grocery store items should not be in the deli/pizza area. *Remind parents even if they are returning customers. Another improvement might be to have a second small toddler area on the second floor so that parents with two different ages can give their little one a safe place to play while the older child can go do other sections in moms line-of-sight. The worst section in my option was the area with the garden? Not sure what they were supposed to do? What was supposed to be there. All that was there when we walked thru it (didn’t even stop bc we didn’t understand) was two boxes with brown rollers and a play house. Random garden tools inside the playhouse and that was about it.
Lots for young kids to do here. I brought my kids. My kids love to play pretend so they had a blast. There was a huge water table, small rock wall, airplane assembly and play climb area. The kids can pretend to be a cashier in Publix, a fireman, a vet, and doctor. Parental guidance for how to play makes it so much more fun! Lots of sanitation stations are available.
Went with my daughter in law and 20 month old grand daughter. We were there for 3 hours. She loved it.So much to see and learn. Will be able to go back for years to come. Cost is so reasonable.
A must see place for kids! The kids spent the whole day playing and having fun. I would not recommend for kids older than 8 or 9. But the little ones will have a blast. There are a few restaurants within walking distance that you can break away for lunch for a bit. My kids really enjoyed the cork sand area.
Our son loved it. Great place to go and cool down. Many different areas to learn and play.
We were so excited to visit and we decided to go on Monday which is catered to special needs and we were so disappointed. Exhibits were not meant for kids in wheelchairs. We felt it was a waste of money. We hope you take this feedback and work on making wheelchair accessible exhibits. Not to mention the garage was closed and parking was also an issue.
I only wish my children were younger to bring them back. Scratch that, I WISH I WAS YOUNGER TO RETURN AND PLAY!! Hands on displays and exhibits. An indoor wonderland complete w/ a full on grocery store experience! Such a cool way to spend indoors & get out of the heat and PLAY!
My 3 year old loves this place! So much for her to do. I only gave it 4 stars due to the price. I think it's ridiculous that adults have to pay to get it. They should only charge the children!
This place is so fun for young kids. My family really enjoyed our visit. Will be back again.
I love everything the most in here except the Subway Food. The Spanish lady was so rude the way she asked me what I want.. sometime we have to take a little time to read all the food what they have on the board , but when I asked her again because her English is not clear , she was very rude to answered.. plus the bread is NOT hot right with temperature. And make my stomach sick after that...my kids love here, will come back but never eat at subway..
We have been coming here since we moved here 3 years ago. And still, 3 years later it is one of my kids favorite places to go! Plenty to do, easy location, it's always clean, stroller friendly, the areas are always kept up with and have something new often. The Publix area has had improvements lately and it's amazing for kids. The temporary Piggie and Elephant area was also great fun. Always worth the drive into Tampa and the admission into the Museum!
So much fun to be had here! My 5 and 7 year old daughter loves this place. My older one lost interest a little faster than the younger one.
Nice children’s museum. Not huge, but adequate. My kids could have played in the water exhibit all day!
I had the pleasure of volunteering with a children's day camp visiting the Glazer Children's Museum, and I must say that I had just as much fun as they did! It's a very organized interactive experience with options available for every educational level- crawling babies to upper elementary school! Personally, I think fifth grade might be too advanced to enjoy certain exhibits, but each child is different. As an adult, I thought it was great! There's a Subway in the lobby (no deals/coupons!) and snack bar as well. Of course, you can bring your lunch and eat on the steps of a fabulous waterfront park just outside the museum. When you return to the lobby, little ones can play in a water exhibit inspired by a local weather channel and familiar landmarks. There is also a "sand"box and music station. My recommendation would be to use the plastic aprons provided because it's possible to get VERY wet in this exhibit, and the temperature inside is pretty cold. It feels great coming from outside, but maybe not so great if you're wet. The second level of the museum was easily the highlight of the trip for our campers because they were able to climb and touch and move things and make noise and play with kids from other camps! There are steps and ladders and lofts, so multiple levels to be explored. Thankfully, each element is built wide enough for adults/chaperones to easily see and access the little ones. It's a great time! The third floor was perhaps least interesting for my campers because its all about design and creativity. Some of them were too young to understand, so they lost patience pretty quickly. Our kids do a lot of crafts at home, so they mostly wanted to play downstairs. However, I enjoyed tinkering with the materials provided as well as brainstorming how to make crafts without some expected materials. I noticed the older kids appreciated this exhibit area the most. Overall, I think this museum is a great time and totally worth visiting. I'm hoping to return with our campers next summer!
Great place for children to explore and use their imagination. Multiple rooms with different themes. It's like a huge play house with many activity centers. Plus they teach art classes up stairs. Subway inside the building so you never have to leave.
Children's museum was fun. Alot of activities for kids. The best part was the outdoor splash pad. The kids really enjoyed it. They had a cute dance floor area for lil ones a toddler ball part a farm area a sensory water area which was cool price 10 bucks for kids and 15 for adults and you have to pay for parking. No gift shop and a subway sandwich joint if you want food
This place is awesome. It has a lot of gray stuff for kids. My daughter's loved it here, especially the dance booth. I liked it so much im considering have their bday party here. They're very young so when I seen them running around enjoying themselves that makes me want to bring them here more often.
Definitely a place to stop by. Kids and adults alike with not be disappointed. Lots of hands on activities for kids to create or just a learning experience. Museum attendants always available to answer questions. Snack bar on the first floor, and very clean restrooms.
Good place for a class field trip. I'd recommend ages 4 to 8. The kids loved playing with everything and taking the roles of cashier, vet or firefighter.
I love take the kiddos there. Very safe environment and nice staff
My grandson just love it was his first time and he enjoyed it was wonderful.
Can't wait for my kid to get older to enjoy more!
Wonderful time! 3 levels of fun, free admission on Tuesdays and 2 free books per child. This is a must do if you're looking for a super fun time with the kids.
A neat hands on children's museum. A little smaller then some others we've been to but theres still alot packed in there. From the "sand" pit and water works on the 1st floor to grocery store, veterinarian hospital, ice cream/pizza shop, fire station complete with fire pole to slide down and firemans uniform, an around the world themed area, farming area, racing area where you can test yourself against a turtle, dog, rabbit and bird on the 2nd floor and then alot of arts and crafts on the 3rd floor where there are also many employees waiting to help the kids build whatever comes to mind. It was a great price too. I would say you need at least 3-4 hours to do everything. And theres a subway restaurant on the 1st floor also. But you can bring your own food and drink in to but it has to be eaten on the 1st floor at the subway
It is a nice place to take kids of a certain age group, predominantly children from about the ages of 3 to 8. The staff are very nice and helpful, the restrooms are easily accessible and there are places to nurse babies, besides the bathroom. It was very clean and well attended. I had a good time take taking ym daughter but they really do need more exhibits. The subway on the first floor is great as well. There's even a water play area outside of the museum that is nice to go to.
We came here because of watching Flippy on youtube. My boy loves this place! He was playing non stop since we got here. The ticket $10 for kid and $15 for adult are not expensive at all. They have a little Publix is the cutest! My boy also loves to be a fireman and driving a firetruck here. It is clean and very contemporary design look. I love the way the architect using color for this interior. The color will bring you more energy when you visiting it. And so many more you should see here.
This place is every kid's dream! We recently visited with our 3 year old for the first time and she had such a blast that we ended up getting a family pass. There is so much to do that it will probably take several visits to fully explore. Very clean and educational as well.
Great place to go and spend some time with your kids ages 2 to 6 in my opinion. Lots of activities opportunities to learn. Sandbox, Jungle gyms, a theater with outfits and everything and our personal favorite bongo drums! It has a play grocery store and even a dance floor. Special events on occasion, yearly pass is really cheap and it's safe which is important. Pro tip bring some hand sanitizer but any parent knows that I guess. Have fun!
Great experience all around. I imagine it's best to go during the week because on the weekend it gets packed and that does put somewhat of a damper on the fun
Great place for little kids, it has so much toys and fun stations where you can play.
We were very underwhelmed by our experience. We took our 4 year old son yesterday. Now, contributing to our decision to go was our sons favorite Youtune channel, Blippi, did a video from the museum a while back. He wanted to do the fun things blippi was doing. It seemed as if every exhibit had something wrong with it. The huge watertable was not fully functional, clearly missing elements, the sand pit was way too small for more than a couple of kids, especially when they are big kids. The Publix exhibit was clearly missing things like the cash registers, and had very few carts. Overall, it just seemed very lackluster. Some exhibits could have been really cool, but had no instruction or explanations on them. It was not educational, and staff was not helpful throughout the museum. I watched 2 workers walk laps around the water table area for at least 15 minutes talking to each other and not engaging a single visitor. We probably wont be going back.
Good for kids 3-6. I really think they charge to much for adults since it is not adult interactive at all! Could be cleaner also. Probably wouldn't go again.
This place is great, but only for a short time. The activities required more focus than my 3 year old has. I'm not sure the age group this is intended to interest. There are very little attractions, and they're either boring and simple or they are too complex for a child. Overall the place was clean, and well organized. I still give 4 stars because my child had fun. At $40 for us to visit this museum it was NOT worth it. We stayed for an hour and a half before my child had already checked out and played at every area. Would not go back again, solely because of the price and lack of exhibits.
Really enjoyed our visit. Staff was friendly and always around. Everything seemed clean, well maintained and working. Plenty of places for parents to sit while kids are playing was a huge plus.
The group I brought to explore was super pleased with the number of fun things to do and enteract with.It was bright and clean. The staff was wonderful, and they really try to help everyone get thier best experience.
The place needs more involvement. It's a great children's place, however my kids seemed distracted easily because each area was so close to each other. The areas didn't seem to have much, for example in the pictures their was a jungle gym in a now empty sports area. We still had fun, but I prefer the other children's museum we've been to. I feel they could add more exciting pieces for the kids. We walked through in roughly two hours and the kids wanted to go elsewhere, however we insisted they'd stay as we wanted to Tucker them out. It's a great place, but could use more.
This place is great for 2 to 3 year old daughter. It is quite busy right now during the summer with lots of camps attending. We have been fortunate enough to be able to go during the week when it's less crowded and it is thoroughly enjoyable for our daughter. Great activity areas for children of different ages. There's also great restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend it for toddlers up to elementary school-age kids.
Nice place with lot of activities for the kids. A small public where the children can shop and go through the cashier.
So much to do here with kids, perfect for hot or rainy day. Can spend here all day.
Was a very nice place for my wife and I to take our 2 boys. We drove there from Orlando while we were on vacation. We got in for free because we are members of NY Hall of Science which is part of ATSC.
The blazer is a great place for kids ages four to about 10 years old. It’s a great place to escape the heat in the summer and the kids get a lot of physical activity. It’s also a place for learning. I like that they change their exhibits, so it doesn’t get boring if you live here and go a couple of times a year. I’ve used their spring-break camp for the last 3 yrs and plan to 1 more year. They have discounts for military, so ask at the ticket counter.
Highly recommend this as a stop for young families.
Lots for kids to do. Hands on. Employees are on top of keeping things cleaned up for other kids to still enjoy too.
It was okay. My daughter was happy there but I think the cost is too high for what little there is. We all had to pay to get in when it is only an experience for my daughter. It seems like a lot of the exhibits were broken, missing parts, or simply lack luster. I am glad we went but I am not sure I would go a second time.
We all had a lot fun here! Ages 2, 9 and 11. Lots of interactive and educational centers. Very clean and well organized.
Some exhibits need attention or repair. Some exhibits were missing necessary items. All in all a fun exploration for little kids. I don't think children over 6 would find it much fun.
I'm a grandmother and thank goodness there were places to sit. My 2 year old grandson had a great time. It seems like the manipulative were well used and maybe having a few kid volunteers helping to keep some order.
Very nice place, if it's raining outside or it's really hot this is perfect for kids to have some fun.
It's great for kids and very affordable. Can't believe how very expensive are the theme parks, aquarium and zoo in Tampa!
Our 5 yr old and 3 yr old loved it. It keep them busy for a few hours and tired them out! Wonderful experience all around.
Great place for kids in a Broad range of ages both my kids had a great time ( 2 and 8 months) also great views of downtown tampa
This place was really cool. We went on the free day probably not the best idea. It was not only summer break but free- there was so many people it was very overwhelming. The place itself has tons of things for kids to do. Very very neat place. The water feature outside was really fun! Don't forget to bring a change of clothes I can't see going there and not letting the kids play in the water.
Such a fun place for kids and break for parents! This place is more affordable and will keep your kids busy for hours!
One of the best place for kids in Tampa. There are so many fun things kids can learn and playing.
So many exciting things to do for little kids.... We had so much fun... Of course the kids just wanted to meet Blippi lol... Overall great experience and friendly staff!!!
Haven't been to a better one! Lots to do. Our little guy is almost 2, he likes it there a lot
Absolutely great . My 4 year old granddaughter had the time of her life . Plenty to do and learn, and since it is indoors one does not have to worry about heat or possible rain .
My kid loved the firetruck.n' I loved the free entry every first Tuesday of the month
Take your kids under 10 over there, they will have a fantastic time, excellent museum.
Awesome place to take your child. Although I went as part of a school field trip, after spending an hour driving, the whole experience only took about 1.5 hours and we had 1.5 hours left before we were leaving to head back to school. I gave 4 stars since the 1st level is closed off due to renovations. I will be honest and say, I was expecting a little more. There were a lot of cool, hands on and interactive activites though. Cannot wait to come back and see what the 1st level has to offer.
Being from Toronto, I found it interesting I spotted this in the Tampa Glazer Children's museum. I wish I knew more about where it came from. (See photo of cn tower and skydome portrait). The museum was great for my little guy. I would say this place is great for ages 3 to about 8 but I think older kids may find it boring. My 4 year old loved it and its a great atmosphere for kids.
Really amazing place Two floors of entertaining and educational attractions. My son had a blast running around and playing. So much is there. A little Publix store, vet clinic, hospital, dance and kaleidoscope area, a tug boat, "sand" all over the world parts. There's just so much there to do. I definitely recommend taking kids here and especially having School field trips and even summer camp. I will definitely be going back.
What a great place for little kids. We attended the sunshine Sunday event for special needs children. It's on the last Sunday of the month. We had a great time and the staff was courteous and helpful. Very low key and sensory friendly. Kudo's to the museum for this opportunity.
The kids had an okay time. It felt like everything was slightly broken. No one there seemed to have any real idea on how to engage children and there wasn't anything available to help guide parents on engaging their children through the "exhibits".
So many fun activities for your children. Especially for ages 3-6. My 3 year old daughter loves to play in the water area. Plenty of water toys for the kids to share. The sand area is fun as well the entire upstairs. Areas for climbing, pretend cooking, shopping, planting gardens. As well as Legos, paper airplanes and dancing. Great way to interact with your little ones.
Such an incredible museum for kids! Every station is so well thought out and honestly as a nursing mother I loved the designated private areas for nursing! What an incredible touch! Getting up the barn was a little hard but we managed!
We’ve been members for 3 years and we lived it 3yrs who, but love it even more now! They’ve recently updated some exhibits and it’s even more fun than ever. My kids are 4 and 2.5 - there’s plenty for this age group up to maybe an 8yr old. The museum definitely caters to little kids. We love it!
The kids had a blast! Plenty of things 1.s Xanax zzzzzzz zzz zzz zzzzzz. Zzz z-z s. Ss xxx z
We love to visit children museums in different cities while on vacation. This one did not disappoint. Our kids had so much fun! The smallest liked to play the grocery store the most. Older kids enjoyed the "hammock climb" a lot. And the water table was fun for everybody.
Although the name says Museum it's more of a kid's activity area. It might be worth to spend one full day as there is a lot of things to do. There are 3 floors in the building. The second level has the most of the activities. There is a Subway on level 1. They even allow multiple entries given that the wrist band is intact. Parking is available on the adjacent building across the rail tracks at a very reasonable rate.
Having some time to kill between our drive and when our flights left we decided to visit this really great children’s museum located in the downtown part of Tampa. With multiple floors of fun this children’s museum is one of the better ones that we have attended over the last few years. If you’re a resident or just passing through it is still a great space to bring small children to have a quick bit of fun
Very interactive. Kids loved it. Glad we went on an off day during off hours though. Lots of open stairs for toddlers to fall down. Parking is a pain. Cool for the kids.
Great place for kids 9 years and below, they will have alot of fun.
Paid $60 for a glorified playground. Not educational what so ever. Plus you might come when a school is doing a field trip and you'll be surrounded by 100 crazy kids. Not worth it.
Great place to take your kids just to burn off energy and learn at the same time.
Great for active small children 7 or younger. We went with an older child and it was geared to a smaller audience in age and size. An open floor plan so do plan on chasing your small children everywhere.
This is a great place to go as a family for children under 9. Everything is so interactive. Staff is nice. We will be back!
Love the exhibits. Especially the music light and around the world ones. Wish things were put back after use. It would make a better experience for pretend and play. It's featured on Blippi. Must visit for kids if you are in the area.
A lot of fun. Lots of things for the children to do. Water and sand sensory areas. Dance party and shopping. Arts and crafts bubbles and balloons. When your done you can grab subway for lunch.
I absolutely love love love this place! The little Publix is the cutest! It is very clean and all staff are super friendly! Keeps the kiddos entertained for hours while they are learning at the same time! Beautiful architecture and nice sitting space outside if you want a nice little break.
Today Tuesday Sep 3 was promoted as a free admission day since it was the first Tuesday of the month. Our family was in Tampa in order to avoid the brunt of Hurricane Dorian since were under a mandatory evacuation. Imagine our surprise to learn that the museum was not honoring the free Tuesday due to the hurricane! What an irony! Supposedly the free admission was moved to next Tuesday instead. The gracious thing to do would have been to honor the free Tuesday as it was posted on their website this am.
Great children's museum. Very hands-on with lots of things to do. Geared to ages 2-8. Older children might not be as appreciative as the younger ones will be.
Awesome place for kids to learn and actually interact with many exhibits. On a hot day, which is typical in Tampa, you can even play in the fountains outside the museum.
I would have given it 5 stars but if you are a nursing mother you will have no privacy. Their nursing “rooms” are in play areas and are just curtains so you’ll be constantly yelling at kids who ignore the sign and try to come in.
My grandchildren (ages 6 & 7) loved it. They are visiting this week and I wanted them to enjoy something different. Very interactive play.
Pretty spectacular place to take young children. I took my little girl here for her 2nd Birthday and she just had the time of her life as well as my 4yr old son.
Great place for kids to play. Love it
Awesome, interactive musuem. Perfect for walking aged toddlers to older kiddos. The water area is super fun, the other attractions were very fun. They have nursing areas for new mamas to sit. Subway is at the 1st floor if you need a snack or drink! They have a penny stretch machine when you leave. Lots of cool stuff for kids to do for an entire morning or afternoon.
This is a great place for families with small children. The kids love this place. You can thank me later!
Today isnt my first visit to the museum but if it bad been, I would've never returned. Just a few months ago there was a lot of stuff to do. Now, everything seems bare. The Publix area seems to be missing half the groceries they used to have, there used to be circuits to play with and those are gone. The tiny "garden" has some flower stems but nothing to plant them in. A lot of the areas are just missing the play items they used to have. I'm incredibly disappointed in these changes. And please please PLEASE install more parent seating close to/ in the play areas!
The more I go to this place (& other children’s museums - since I only live in Tampa part time) the more I feel like this is my favorite. I love the variety of things you can do! Everything is so clean and organized. Literally, you can spend all day in here. It’s fun for everyone! The only thing I wish they could improve is the size of the gift shop and what they have to offer. Otherwise, I’m very impressed with the place and we try to visit whenever we are in town.
So many activities! My 8, 5, and 1yo loved it. We will definitely be back!
It is a fun place even for toddlers on a rainy day. It can be really crowded and some parts (like the farm or the grocery store) look like a real mess by noon. It is a pity that the only on-site dining option is a small Subway counter which you may or may not like.
This place was great! My son was ecstatic to run around throughout the building. The water was the most fun!! If you haven't been you need to go at least once
We were invited to the Operation Homefront Back to School Event with free entrance to the museum... wow.... amazing place...things to do for all ages....and the "sand" area was great.... we definently coming back!!!
Great place for kids tons of fun 3 floors with different interactive activities. Subway inside
Lots of fun for young children. Absolutely love this place. Well worth a visit
Very nice. It had lots of things for the kids to do. Went with 4 kids ranging from 2-12 years old and they all enjoyed it. Two hours was plenty though. The outside park was really nice and perhaps on a warmer day one can spend a couple of hours outside as well because they have the option of getting wet too.
It wasn't bad but needs more entertainment for older kids!
Love their free Tuesdays! I took my kids to meet their favorite character Daniel Tiger and that was more than a year ago and my Oldest is still talking about it!
This museum is cool except that it is not parent friendly. It's very open concept with so many things to do. Which is good, except, it's so easy to lose your kid. Especially on field trip days. If you get anxious, don't come here
Decent museum but a few exhibits not operable
Fun place the kids and I went and had a blast. There were so many different activities to do. If you and you child is into STEM then Glazer is the place to be. There a subway restaurant there too, build in, in case you all get hungry.
My kids love to come here. But since we live about 45 minutes away we come only during special events. This museum place is always fun
Great place to spend a day with kids and avoid the summer heat
Kids loved their trip so much we go back every chance we get!
If you have children between 2 and 12, this is the place to go. We have been members here for about 4 years now and will probably continue for another 4. My children love coming here on the weekend And they usually play for at least 2 or 3 hours as there is a ton of stuff to do. The staff is awesome and very warm welcoming and conscientious. I highly recommend this place.
My kids had a great time here. I would recommend.
You could spend the entire day here. 3-story Children’s museum with lots to do. There is something for everyone. They do have nursing rooms on the 2nd floor. Clean museum & friendly staff. Some tips: ***defiantly pack swim suits for the fountains out side of the museum. ***when u enter the children’s museum, start at 3rd floor and work down to the 1st. ***Subway is on the 1st floor for lunch
There is so much to do and such a variety of activities! You will have no problem keeping children (and adults) entertained here. Everything is an interactive experience to teach something.
Plenty of interesting things for a wide range of kids to experience.BUT the staff really need to keep up with house keeping. I understand your dealing w kid's and some dippy parents ,but they could do better.not sure what the maintenance schedule is but several stations were either broke or missing parts.again I understand the issue with quantity of kids passing thru,BUT.....
We had an awesome day on their free day during the gasparilla music festival! My daughter is too young to participate in most of the activities, but this was a perfect chance for us to try it out. We will definitely be back when she is a little older! (They do have a cute small section that is enclosed for toddlers to play and run around in.)
A fun museum for young kids (<10). I wish the would add a few exhibits to keep the older kids entertained. My kids enjoyed climbing through the platform exhibit by the stairs the most, not especially educational, but it got a bit of their excess energy out on a rainy day!
This is a great place for kids. Multiple interactive areas to keep kids' attention. We enjoyed the pet hospital and fire station. If you go close to closing time don't be surprised if most stations are closed around quarter to.
We have been a few times and have always had a decent experience. I think our experience depends on the time of year. We went today with our 2 sons and it was chaos with all of the summer camp field trips. There were much older kids compared to previous visits and they were running around the “little kid” areas which was a little stressfu. However, Florida in the summer is rainy and hot, so it was to be expected that an indoor place for kids would be overwhelming . Overall, a nice museum to visit (but maybe when in school is back in).
We had so much fun visiting Glazer Children's Museum. There's much to do. The boys enjoyed all the creative play spaces and there way alot of sensory items for the baby to stay entertained. Super happy we located the nursing area. That was helpful although not having a changing table space in there means we went down to the bathroom afterwards, but it worked out just fine. The only challenge is you can't bring a stroller up there with you. We enjoyed lunch outside in the park and the sprinklers near the palm tree shade was a great way to end the day before heading home.
Great on weekdays lots of learning opportunities has a subway inside
Very good place for kids to spend some time. It is definitely worth it. If we would have been Florida residents we would have taken the membership. So good for kids.
